Definitions
- the lateral stability is a relevant quality criterion, the lateral stability usually being improved by specially shaped guide rails and / or by rollers for guiding the guide rails laterally.
- the lateral stability of a drawer pull-out guide is, however, significantly reduced the further a drawer is pulled out in relation to a furniture body.
- leverage forces act, which reinforce lateral play between the guide rails or tilting of the guide rails about an axis running in the longitudinal direction of the guide rails.
- This lateral play of the pulled-out drawer is further increased as the overall width of the drawer increases.
- an excessive lateral play of the drawer extension guide gives a person a rather inferior impression.
- Measures to improve the lateral stability of containers are for example in the WO 88 05 639 A1 , EP 13 21 094 A1 , EP 1 321 094 A1 , EP 1 323 372 A2 , U.S. 4,315,661 and U.S. 4,119,377 shown.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a drawer extension guide of the type mentioned at the beginning while avoiding the disadvantages discussed above.
- At least one of the guide rails has at least one projection which, in the open position of the guide rails, rests against the at least one guide body, so that the guide rails at least in that area in which the at least one guide body and the at least one projection abut one another are arranged without play to one another in the lateral direction.
- At least one guide body mounted between the guide rails rests on a projection of the guide rails, so that at least in this area, lateral play between the guide rails is inhibited by the play-free contact of the guide body on the projection.
- the at least one guide body can either be mounted on one of the guide rails or, alternatively, on a carriage arranged between the guide rails.
- two or more guide bodies can also be provided, with at least one first guide body being mounted on one of the guide rails and at least one second guide body on a carriage mounted displaceably between the guide rails, the first guide body and the second guide body being in the extended state of the drawer pull-out guide support each side on a projection of a guide rail.
- the at least one guide body is designed to be rotationally symmetrical and is mounted rotatably about an axis that runs vertically in the assembly position.
- the guide body could also be designed as a non-rotatable support part, which in the fully extended state of the Drawer pull-out guide can be supported without play on a projection of a guide rail.
- the at least one projection can be formed in the form of an embossing on one of the guide rails, the projection being able to be produced as a component formed in one piece with the guide rail by pressing an embossing die into a flat surface of a guide rail.
- At least two or more guide bodies are mounted between the guide rails, which are spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction of the guide rails, wherein in the open position of the guide rails the first guide body rests on a first projection of the guide rails without play and the at least one second guide body rests against a second projection of the guide rails without play. Due to the at least two longitudinally spaced apart guide bodies, which rest against two spaced apart projections of the guide rails in an open position of the drawer extension guide, the lateral play along a direction extending in the longitudinal direction of the guide rails can be reduced considerably.
- the first guide body can be moved past the second projection, preferably with the formation of a gap, when the guide rails move from the closed position into the open position, and that the first guide body with a continued movement of the guide rails in the direction of the open position the first projection can be brought into clamping engagement.
- the friction of the drawer extension guide is not increased despite the stabilization, because when the drawer extension guide is opened, the first guide body initially passes the second projection without contact and only engages the first projection without play when the drawer extension guide is fully open.
- the first projection and the second projection can have a different height.
- the first and second protrusions can have an identical height and the first and second guide bodies have an identical thickness or an identical diameter, the first and second guide bodies being laterally offset from one another in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction of the guide rails.
- Fig. 1 shows a piece of furniture 1 with a cabinet-shaped furniture body 2, with drawers 3 being mounted so as to be movable relative to the furniture body 2 via drawer extension guides 4.
- the drawers 3 each have a front panel 5, a drawer bottom 6, drawer side walls 7 and a rear wall 8.
- the drawer pull-out guides 4 each comprise a third guide rail 9 (carcass rail), which is to be fastened to the furniture carcass 2 via fastening sections 12a, 12b, a second guide rail 10 (drawer rail) which is mounted displaceably relative to the third guide rail 9 and which is connected or to be connected to the drawer side wall 7 is, as well as a first guide rail 11 (middle rail), which for the realization of a When the drawer 3 is fully extended, it is movably supported between the third guide rail 9 and the second guide rail 10.
- a third guide rail 9 carcass rail
- second guide rail 10 drawer rail
- first guide rail 11 middle rail
- Fig. 2 shows an arrangement with a drawer extension guide 4 and with a drawer side wall 7 in a perspective view.
- the fastening sections 12a, 12b connected to the third guide rail 9 have one or more fastening points 13, 14 for fastening to the furniture body 2.
- a movable first guide rail 11 is arranged between the third guide rail 9 and the second guide rail 10.
- a coupling element 21 is arranged on the second guide rail 10, which can be releasably coupled to a driver 20 of a retraction device 18 so that the second guide rail 10 is grasped by the driver 20 towards the end of the closing movement and can be retracted into a closed end position by an energy store of the retraction device 18.
- a damping device 19 preferably with a hydraulic piston-cylinder unit, this spring-assisted retraction movement of the second guide rail 10 can be braked up to the closed end position.
- the drawer side wall 7 is designed as a hollow chamber profile with an inner profile wall 7a and with an outer profile wall 7b spaced from the inner profile wall, the drawer side wall 7 forming a downwardly open channel 17 which extends in the longitudinal direction of the drawer side wall 7 and in which the second guide rail forms 10 of the drawer pull-out guide 4 can be arranged.
- the drawer side wall 7 also has a first fastening device 15a for connecting to the rear wall 8, a second fastening device 15b for connecting to the front panel 5 and a support part 16 for supporting the drawer bottom 6.
- Fig. 3a shows the pull-out drawer slide 4 in an exploded view.
- the third guide rail 9 is to be fastened to the furniture body 2 via the fastening sections 12a, 12b and has an essentially U-shaped or C-shaped section in which a first carriage 25a and a second carriage 25b for controlling a movement of the drawer extension guide 4 are mounted are.
- the second guide rail 10 has a hook 22 at the rear end, which is received in the assembly position in a bore in the rear wall 8 and thereby a Displacement of the drawer 3 in the longitudinal direction (L) and in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction (L) is prevented.
- a displaceable first guide rail 11 is provided between the third guide rail 9 and the second guide rail 10, with a third carriage 25c being movable between the first guide rail 11 and the second guide rail 10, which can be moved with the first carriage 25a, for example via one on the first guide rail 11 rotatably mounted gear, is coupled in motion.
- the carriages 25a, 25b, 25c each have a plurality of rolling bodies 26 spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction (L) and having a horizontal axis of rotation.
- the second guide rail 10 has at least one guide body 23 a, which - in relation to the longitudinal direction (L) of the guide rail 10 - is mounted in the rear half of the guide rail 10.
- the at least one guide body 23a is designed to be rotationally symmetrical and is mounted rotatably about an axis 30 that runs vertically in the assembly position.
- the first guide rail 11 has a, preferably vertically running, side web 11a on which at least one projection 24a (for example in the form of an embossing) is arranged.
- the guide rails 10, 11, at least in the area in which the at least one guide body 23a and the at least one projection 24a abut, are fixed to one another without play in a lateral direction transverse to the longitudinal direction (L).
- two guide bodies 23a, 23b spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction (L) in the form of rollers are provided on the second guide rail 10, which in the assembly position are each rotatably mounted about a vertically extending axis.
- the first guide body 23a rests on the first projection 24a and the second guide body 23b on the second projection 24b without play, so that the lateral play between the guide rails 10, 11 is reduced along a direction running in the longitudinal direction (L) of the guide rails becomes.
- the projections 24a, 24b protrude from the side web 11a of the first guide rail 11 in the lateral direction and are in the longitudinal direction (L) of the guide rails 9, 10, 11 at a distance from one another, for example in the front half of the first guide rail 11.
- the projections 24a, 24b can each have two ramps 31a, 31b ( Figures 4b, 4c ), so that the guide bodies 23a, 23b of the second guide rail 10 can move onto the projections 24a, 24b without a disruptive abutting edge and can move away from the projections 24a, 24b again.
- the first projection 24a can have a greater height than the second projection 24b.
- the first guide body 23a can pass the lower second projection 24b without hindrance, whereupon the first guide body 23a in the open position with the first projection 24a without play Can be brought into engagement and the second guide body 23b also comes to rest on the second projection 24b without play in the open position of the second guide rail 10 (for example due to a larger diameter of the second guide body 23b and / or because the second guide body is arranged transversely to the longitudinal direction (L) 23b relative to the first guide body 23a).
- a third projection 24c and a fourth projection 24d are provided on the first guide rail 11, which are spaced apart from one another along the longitudinal direction (L) and offset from the first and second projections 24a, 24b in the longitudinal direction (L).
- These third and fourth projections 24c, 24d are each provided to come into play-free contact with a guide body 23c, 23d mounted on the carriages 25a, 25b in the fully open position of the drawer extension guide 4 and thus the lateral play between the third guide rail 9 and the first guide rail 11 to reduce.
- Figure 3b shows the in Fig. 3a circled area "A" in an enlarged view.
- the guide body 23c mounted on the carriage 25a is rotatably mounted about an axis 30 running vertically in the assembly position and, in the fully open position of the drawer extension guide 4, lies on the third projection 24c of the first guide rail 11 play-free.
- the carriage 25a has a slot 29 for receiving the side web 11a of the first guide rail 11.
- Figure 3c shows the in Fig. 3a circled area "B" in an enlarged view.
- the guide body 23d mounted on the carriage 25b is also rotatably mounted about an axis 30 running vertically in the assembly position and, in the fully open position of the drawer extension guide 4, rests on the fourth projection 24d of the first guide rail 11 without play.

Description
- a first guide rail and at least one second guide rail, which are mounted displaceably relative to one another in a longitudinal direction of the guide rails between a closed position and an open position,
- at least one guide body mounted between the guide rails through which the guide rails can be guided in a lateral direction relative to one another in an assembly position of the drawer extension guide.
In the case of pull-out drawer runners, the lateral stability is a relevant quality criterion, the lateral stability usually being improved by specially shaped guide rails and / or by rollers for guiding the guide rails laterally. The lateral stability of a drawer pull-out guide is, however, significantly reduced the further a drawer is pulled out in relation to a furniture body. In the fully extended state of the drawer extension guide, when a force is exerted on the extended guide rail, leverage forces act, which reinforce lateral play between the guide rails or tilting of the guide rails about an axis running in the longitudinal direction of the guide rails. This lateral play of the pulled-out drawer is further increased as the overall width of the drawer increases. The object of the present invention is to provide a drawer extension guide of the type mentioned at the beginning while avoiding the disadvantages discussed above.
According to the invention, this is achieved by the features of claim 1. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are defined in the dependent claims. According to the invention, it is provided that at least one of the guide rails has at least one projection which, in the open position of the guide rails, rests against the at least one guide body, so that the guide rails at least in that area in which the at least one guide body and the at least one projection abut one another are arranged without play to one another in the lateral direction.
In other words, in the fully extended position of the drawer pull-out guide, at least one guide body mounted between the guide rails rests on a projection of the guide rails, so that at least in this area, lateral play between the guide rails is inhibited by the play-free contact of the guide body on the projection.
The at least one guide body can either be mounted on one of the guide rails or, alternatively, on a carriage arranged between the guide rails. However, two or more guide bodies can also be provided, with at least one first guide body being mounted on one of the guide rails and at least one second guide body on a carriage mounted displaceably between the guide rails, the first guide body and the second guide body being in the extended state of the drawer pull-out guide support each side on a projection of a guide rail.
According to the invention, it is provided that the at least one guide body is designed to be rotationally symmetrical and is mounted rotatably about an axis that runs vertically in the assembly position. In principle, the guide body could also be designed as a non-rotatable support part, which in the fully extended state of the Drawer pull-out guide can be supported without play on a projection of a guide rail.
In a structurally simple embodiment, the at least one projection can be formed in the form of an embossing on one of the guide rails, the projection being able to be produced as a component formed in one piece with the guide rail by pressing an embossing die into a flat surface of a guide rail. Alternatively, it is possible to attach the projection to a guide rail (for example by screwing or gluing).
According to one embodiment of the invention it can be provided that at least two or more guide bodies are mounted between the guide rails, which are spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction of the guide rails, wherein in the open position of the guide rails the first guide body rests on a first projection of the guide rails without play and the at least one second guide body rests against a second projection of the guide rails without play. Due to the at least two longitudinally spaced apart guide bodies, which rest against two spaced apart projections of the guide rails in an open position of the drawer extension guide, the lateral play along a direction extending in the longitudinal direction of the guide rails can be reduced considerably.
According to one embodiment, it can be provided that the first guide body can be moved past the second projection, preferably with the formation of a gap, when the guide rails move from the closed position into the open position, and that the first guide body with a continued movement of the guide rails in the direction of the open position the first projection can be brought into clamping engagement.
In this way, the friction of the drawer extension guide is not increased despite the stabilization, because when the drawer extension guide is opened, the first guide body initially passes the second projection without contact and only engages the first projection without play when the drawer extension guide is fully open. To enable this function, the first projection and the second projection can have a different height. Alternatively, it is possible for the first projection and the second projection to have an identical height, the movement of the first guide body past the second projection being made possible by a different thickness or by a different diameter of the guide bodies. As a further alternative, the first and second protrusions can have an identical height and the first and second guide bodies have an identical thickness or an identical diameter, the first and second guide bodies being laterally offset from one another in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction of the guide rails.

The
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the
According to one embodiment, the
In addition, a
The drawer pull-out guide 4 can therefore - as shown in the figures - have at least three
