Definitions
- the invention relates to an adhesive tape dispenser.
- Adhesive tape dispensers are well known from the prior art.
- the EP 2 966 019 A2 discloses according to the preamble of claim 1 an adhesive tape dispenser for an adhesive tape roll with a core element, the dispenser consisting essentially of a carrier unit.
- the document also discloses a metal bracket that presses a portion of adhesive tape onto an applicator roller.
- a problem with the prior art is that tape can detach from the tape dispenser too early. It can happen that detached sections of adhesive tape are reconnected to the adhesive tape roll, which makes it more difficult to detach again. Sections of adhesive tape can also be knotted, with untying being impossible and/or very time-consuming in view of the adhesive effect of the adhesive tape. Another problem can be tearing of the adhesive tape if the forces acting on the adhesive tape become too great.
- tape dispensers can be very noisy when applying tape. Since professional adhesive tape dispensers are often used for hours and several days a week, this high volume can be a burden for the employee and, in extreme cases, can also affect the health of the employee. It is therefore advantageous if the adhesive tape dispensers apply adhesive tape as quietly as possible.
- the object of the present invention was therefore to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and in particular to provide an adhesive tape dispenser with which adhesive tape can be applied particularly reliably, conveniently and with little noise.
- the handle can preferably be designed as a tangential or radial handle.
- the adhesive tape roll can optionally be part of the adhesive tape dispenser, but an adhesive tape dispenser without an adhesive tape roll is preferred, but which can hold an adhesive tape roll in the manner described above.
- the friction bridge with the deflection bead improves the application of adhesive tape sections quite considerably. It is assumed - without being bound to a theory - that attractive interactions act between the deflection bead, in particular the transverse elevation or the deflection contact surface of the deflection bead, and in particular also the bridge sliding surface and the adhesive tape section lying on it, which increases the probability of an unintentional detachment of the adhering adhesive tape section to decrease. This can also involve, among other things, Van der Waals forces.
- the bridge sliding surface preferably acts as a sliding or contact surface for the adhesive tape sliding along it. preferably its non-adhesive reverse side, but can also serve only or additionally as a contact surface.
- the adhesive tape does not come into contact with the bridge sliding surface, or only partially, when passing the so-called bridge sliding surface.
- the bridge sliding surface can also be referred to simply as a bridge surface.
- an adhesive tape dispenser comprising a handle in the form of a radial handle, a receiving device with a bearing, in particular a pivotable and/or rotatable bearing, in particular a central bearing, for a roll of adhesive tape, an application device with a bearing, in particular a rotatable one , Application roller, wherein the radial handle has a longitudinal axis, wherein the longitudinal axis, in particular the radial handle, and the application roller are located on opposite sides of an intermediate plane, the intermediate plane being arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis of the radial handle and the bearing axis of the bearing, in particular the central bearing, in one first bearing position lies in the intermediate plane and/or wherein the application roller and the bearing, in particular the central bearing, are on the same side with respect to the longitudinal axis when a cross section is viewed orthogonally to the bearing axis.
- the intermediate level is a level to be constructed hypothetically and not an actual device object of the adhesive tape dispenser device according to the invention.
- This adhesive tape dispenser comprises a non-rotatable friction bridge with a bridge sliding surface and a deflection bead, the adhesive tape dispenser being designed and set up in particular in such a way that a section of adhesive tape of an adhesive tape roll present on the bearing, in particular rotatably mounted, slides over the deflection bead and, if necessary, also over the bridge sliding surface or can slide before hitting the application device.
- the radial handle allows a particularly compact design if its longitudinal axis is arranged as described above.
- the receiving device and the application roller are preferably located on the same side of the longitudinal axis.
- the receiving device preferably also includes a mechanism for pivoting the bearing, in particular the central bearing, from the first bearing position into a second bearing position.
- the bearing is preferably attached to a pivotable swivel arm.
- the bearing is preferably rotatable and pivotable, in particular rotatable about its own bearing axis and pivotable by pivoting the pivot arm about a pivot arm axis, particularly preferably wherein the position of the bearing axis of deviates from the position of the swing arm axis and/or wherein said axes are substantially parallel.
- the bearing, in particular the central bearing is preferably prestressed in order to move from the first to the second bearing position.
- the first bearing position is preferably meant unless the context dictates otherwise.
- the first storage position is preferably a position which is in the center of a cylindrical housing for the roll of adhesive tape.
- a "handle" within the meaning of the present invention can take various forms. Tangential and radial grips have proven particularly useful.
- the handle points with its longitudinal axis in the direction of the bearing, particularly in the first bearing position.
- the longitudinal axis of a radial handle does not necessarily have to lead directly through the bearing in the first bearing position and/or the bearing axis in the first bearing position, but preferably close to it, in particular no more than 3 cm, particularly preferably no more than 2 cm, objected to by the bearing and/or the bearing axis in the first storage position, where the distance between the longitudinal axis and said bearing or said bearing axis in the first storage position is shortest.
- the shortest distance between the longitudinal axis and the bearing is present in the first bearing position beyond the radial handle.
- the grip does not point with its longitudinal axis to the bearing, particularly in the first and second bearing position.
- the longitudinal axis of the handle is further away from the bearing and/or the bearing axis than with the radial handle, especially where the distance between the longitudinal axis and said bearing or said bearing axis is shortest, more than 3 cm, in particular more than 4 cm. particularly preferably more than 5 cm, in particular in the first and/or second storage position.
- the shortest distance between the longitudinal axis and the bearing, in particular in the first bearing position is at a point on the longitudinal axis within the tangential grip.
- the longitudinal axis of a radial grip preferably runs through an area in which the roll of adhesive tape is present when used in accordance with the generic type, this is usually not the case with a tangential grip.
- the longitudinal axis of a tangential grip usually does not come close to the roll of adhesive tape when used in accordance with the generic type, and in particular has a minimum distance of 3 cm from the outside area the roll of tape.
- the longitudinal axis of the handle can also be referred to as the handle axis.
- Both tangential and radial grips can have a basic cylindrical shape, with the cross section usually not being round but elliptical.
- tangential and radial grips are linear and not curved.
- a "section of adhesive tape" within the meaning of the present invention can be connected to the roll of adhesive tape, but is preferably no longer attached radially to the core of the roll of adhesive tape, but is detached, but is preferably still connected at the end to the rest of the roll of adhesive tape.
- This is therefore a section of adhesive tape that protrudes completely or partially from the roll of adhesive tape and is connected to the roll of adhesive tape at the end and/or in one piece, provided it has not yet been cut off.
- the portion of tape includes an adhesive tape side and an opposite non-adhesive tape side. In most cases, this is achieved by the adhesive tape being coated with an adhesive layer on only one side.
- “Rotationally fixed” in the sense of the present invention means that the corresponding element is fixed in a non-rotatable manner, for example connected or glued or screwed to it in one piece.
- the adhesive tape dispenser can be turned as a whole by a user and thus also the non-rotating elements. What is meant is that a non-rotatable element does not rotate in relation to the main body of the rest of the adhesive tape dispenser, in particular not in relation to the handle or possibly the housing.
- the reference system is therefore the adhesive tape dispenser itself, for example also the handle and possibly the housing of the adhesive tape dispenser.
- a rotatable element is rotatably connected to the remainder of the adhesive tape dispenser, in contrast to a non-rotatable element.
- the corresponding element can also not perform a partial rotation and/or pivoting movement with respect to the reference system.
- a pivotable element is to be understood analogously with the same reference system.
- the adhesive tape dispenser is preferably designed for an adhesive tape with an adhesive tape width and the deflection bead comprises a deflection contact surface which is less wide than the adhesive tape width of the adhesive tape, the adhesive tape section of the adhesive tape having adhesive tape edges and when the adhesive tape dispenser is used generically when sliding over the deflection bead with its adhesive tape edges is spaced from the deflection contact surface, in particular spaced from the deflection bead.
- said deflection contact surface comprises. This reduces noise emissions.
- the adhesive tape dispenser is preferably designed for an adhesive tape with an adhesive tape width of at least 47 mm, with the deflection contact surface having an adhesive tape width of less than 43 mm, in particular less than 40 mm.
- the adhesive tape dispenser is designed for an adhesive tape with an adhesive tape width of 47 to 51 mm, the deflection contact surface having a contact surface length of less than 43 mm, in particular less than 40 mm.
- the deflection bead is designed in such a way that a polyvinyl chloride packing tape section of a polyvinyl chloride packing tape roll with an adhesive tape width of 48 to 50 mm is guided along said deflection bead in such a way that the edges of the polyvinyl chloride packing tape section do not contact the deflection bead, in particular the friction bridge on the deflection bead do not contact.
- the adhesive tape dispenser is designed for an adhesive tape with an adhesive tape width of 37 to 51 mm, the deflection contact surface having a contact surface length of less than 37 mm, in particular less than 35 mm. The length of the contact surface is preferably determined orthogonally to the direction in which the adhesive tape section slides over the deflection bead and in particular also over the bridge sliding surface.
- the deflection bead includes a transverse elevation, in particular a transverse curvature. It has been shown that the noise when stripping off the roll of adhesive tape is reduced by the transverse elevation, in particular transverse curvature. Without being bound to a theory, it is assumed that the adhesive tape edges of the adhesive tape vibrate upon contact and that this vibration does not occur to the same extent if a transverse elevation, in particular transverse curvature, prevents said contact at the deflection bead. The vibration can generate noise in a high frequency range.
- the deflection bead preferably comprises said transverse elevation, the transverse elevation being designed and set up to distance the adhesive tape section from the deflection bead at the edges, while the adhesive tape section makes contact with the transverse elevation away from the edges of the adhesive tape.
- the transverse survey in particular Transverse curvature, in the generic use, the edges of the adhesive tape section of an adhesive tape roll with an adhesive tape width of 48 mm to 50 mm distanced from the deflection bead.
- the deflection bead preferably comprises a deflection contact surface with which the adhesive tape section is in contact when the adhesive tape dispenser is used in accordance with the generic type for applying adhesive tape.
- the adhesive tape edges of the adhesive tape are not in contact with said deflection contact surface, in particular with the deflection bead, in said generic use of the adhesive tape dispenser for applying adhesive tape.
- the deflection bead is in one piece with the bridge sliding surface or the element that forms the bridge sliding surface.
- the deflection bead and the bridge sliding surface are preferably an integral part of the friction bridge.
- the transverse elevation in particular at a distance from the friction bridge sides, has a transverse elevation maximum at which the adhesive tape section contacts, while the transverse elevation beyond the transverse elevation maximum, in particular two or more peripheral, transverse elevation minima, to which the adhesive tape section, in particular the adhesive tape edges of the adhesive tape section, at which generic use of the adhesive tape section for applying adhesive tape not contacted.
- the transverse ridge extends between opposite friction bridge sides of the friction bridge.
- the transverse elevation extends from or from a first friction bridge side to or towards a second friction bridge side.
- the transverse ridge has a transverse ridge maximum which is between and spaced from the friction bridge sides, particularly spaced midway between the friction bridge sides.
- the transverse elevation spans a polygonal or continuous arc from the first to the second friction bridge side.
- the transverse elevation can be designed as a transverse curvature.
- a polygonally shaped transverse elevation is also conceivable.
- the polygonally shaped ridge has a cross-section in which it has two legs that comprise ridge minima and a linear connecting line between the limbs that comprises the transverse ridge maximum.
- the transverse elevation preferably has at least one cross section which extends orthogonally to the running direction of the adhesive tape section on the transverse elevation and/or to the deflection sliding surface, the transverse elevation being visible in said cross section as a raised and/or curved contour.
- the transverse elevation has at least one cross section which extends parallel to the bridge sliding surface, the transverse elevation being visible in said cross section as a raised and/or curved contour. If the deflection curve does not have a transverse elevation, it can be provided that the deflection curve is not recognizable as a raised and/or curved contour, but as a straight line in said cross sections.
- the adhesive tape dispenser includes a receiving device.
- the receiving device can comprise a carrier plate, a closed housing or a semi-closed housing.
- the housing is preferably designed and set up to accommodate the roll of adhesive tape and, if necessary, also to hold the cutting blade and the application roller.
- a closed or semi-open housing with a cylindrical recess for a roll of adhesive tape is particularly preferred.
- the cutting blade is detachably connected to the receiving device, in particular the housing, preferably with no tools being required to loosen the cutting blade.
- a clamping mechanism for example, has proven to be suitable.
- the adhesive side of the adhesive tape section is guided without contact over the application roller and/or the friction bridge, in particular sliding over it with the non-adhesive side making contact.
- the receiving device preferably does not contact an adhesive tape, in particular the adhesive tape section, on the adhesive side, but only on the non-adhesive side.
- the friction bridge and/or application roller is designed and set up to adhere to the non-adhesive side of the adhesive tape, in particular to the non-adhesive side of the adhesive tape section.
- the liability can be based, for example, on van der Walls forces and/or electrostatic forces of attraction.
- no adhesive is provided for adhesion.
- Metal brackets are also known from the prior art, which rest on the adhesive side and prevent the adhesive tape from becoming detached. However, this has the disadvantage that the friction is significantly increased. Surprisingly, such metal brackets are not required in the present invention.
- the recording device includes a bearing for a roll of adhesive tape.
- the bearing is preferably rotatable in whole or in part, so that sections of adhesive tape can be unrolled from the roll of adhesive tape.
- the roll of adhesive tape includes a rotational bearing and is applied to a rotationally fixed bearing of the adhesive tape dispenser.
- a roll of adhesive tape connected to the bearing is rotatable, in particular rotatable about a bearing axis.
- the bearing of the present invention is preferably designed as a central bearing, i.e. when a roll of adhesive tape is fixed to the bearing in the generic manner, the bearing is arranged centrally with respect to the roll of adhesive tape. In principle, there are also bearings that are not in the middle of the roll of adhesive tape. Nevertheless, central warehouses have proven particularly useful.
- the application device includes an application roller.
- the adhesive tape section can be pressed onto the substrate to be covered with the adhesive tape with the application roller in order to achieve adhesion.
- It is preferably an application roller with a roller surface made of or comprising plastic.
- the plastic is preferably more elastic and/or softer than the material, in particular the plastic, of the friction bridge, particularly preferably the deflection bead and/or the bridge sliding surface.
- the application roller and the friction bridge are optimized for contacting the adhesive tape section, a more elastic and/or softer roller surface has proven to be advantageous. Due to a certain softness and/or elasticity, the rolling surface can compensate for unevenness in the substrate to which the adhesive tape is to be applied, so that more even pressing is facilitated.
- the frictional resistance of the application roller when it is not rotating is preferably higher than the frictional resistance of the deflection bead and/or the bridge sliding surface. It has thus proven itself to select a softer material for the rolling surface and/or application roller than for the friction bridge.
- the rolling surface and/or application roller is provided with a powder, in particular coated.
- the powder is talc or powdered talc.
- the powder adheres to the rolling surface and/or applicator roll and improves the unrolling of the tape. This works particularly well if the rolling surface is more elastic and/or softer than the material, in particular the plastic, of the friction bridge, in particular the deflection bead and/or the bridge sliding surface.

This makes it easier to unroll.
- the friction bridge is preferably designed and set up to come into contact with the non-adhesive side of an adhesive tape when used in accordance with the generic type.
- the bridge sliding surface has a bridge sliding surface length which is greater than or essentially the same as the length of the application roller. Two lengths are essentially the same size at least when the longer of the lengths is no more than 20%, in particular no more than 10%, longer. - the deflection section is preferably designed to detach the adhesive tape section from the friction bridge if it is in contact with it.

- the rounded contact bead should preferably receive the adhesive tape, in particular detach it.
- the deflection bead can also be rounded and receive the adhesive tape.

- the second mean osculating radius is preferably 0.1 mm to 10 mm, in particular 0.2 mm to 3 mm, particularly preferably 0.7 to 2 mm. It is assumed that a mean second mean osculating circle radius is associated with greater friction and thus with greater electrostatic charging.

This can be the case, for example, in the first storage position or in a third storage position, with the third storage position being between the first and second storage positions.
- a line connecting the application roller axis and bearing axis can be defined, with the bridge sliding surface being oriented essentially parallel to this line and essentially parallel to the application roller axis and/or bearing axis.
- the bridge sliding surface is curved.
- the bridge sliding surface is preferably planar and flat, i.e. without curvature.
- the adhesive tape dispenser comprises a, in particular removable, cutting knife, in particular with a perforation, which can be transferred from a shielded first knife position into a second knife position in which the cutting knife protrudes freely. It has been shown that the cutting blade makes it easier to separate the adhesive tape strip after application. The two knife positions reduce the risk of injury and also prevent accidental cutting off.
- a button or slide control can be provided with which the knife is manually extended.
- the adhesive tape dispenser includes a pre-stressed activation plate
- the pre-stressed activation plate when it is loaded with pressure and moved, transfers the cutting knife to the second knife position, counter to the direction of movement of the activation plate, in which the cutting knife protrudes freely. This automatism makes it easier to detach the adhesive tape.

- the cutting blade can be detached from the receiving block, in particular can be detached without tools.

- the adhesive tape dispenser preferably comprises an end sliding surface, in particular adjacent to a gap through which the cutting device, in particular the cutting blade, emerges.
- the end sliding surface comprises metal, in particular aluminum. It is therefore provided shortly before the end at which the section of adhesive tape is severed.
- the end sliding surface can therefore also be referred to as the end contact surface for an adhesive tape section.
- the end sliding surface or the end contact surface helps to guide the adhesive tape, with electrostatic interactions being suspected without being bound by theory.
- the adhesive tape dispenser comprises an adhesive tape roll and an adhesive tape section unrolled from the adhesive tape roll and connected to the adhesive tape roll, the adhesive tape section having an adhesive adhesive tape side and an opposite non-adhesive adhesive tape side, the opposite non-adhesive adhesive tape side having a partial area on the deflection bead and the application roller or rests against the deflection bead and the bridge sliding surface and the application roller.
- the adhesive tape dispenser does not include an adhesive tape roll and an adhesive tape section unrolled from the adhesive tape roll, although it is suitable for these.
- the adhesive tape dispenser is preferably designed and set up to guide the adhesive tape section around the deflection bead during application, the adhesive tape edges being spaced at least in regions from said deflection bead, while the adhesive tape section rests centrally on the deflection bead.
- the invention also relates to an adhesive tape dispenser for the noise-reduced application of adhesive tape with an adhesive tape dispenser as described above, with a section of adhesive tape being guided around a deflection bead during application and the edges of the adhesive tape being spaced at least in regions from said deflection bead, while the section of adhesive tape rests centrally on the deflection bead .
- the invention also relates to a method for the noise-reduced application of adhesive tape with an adhesive tape dispenser as described above, the adhesive tape section being guided around a deflection bead during application and the edges of the adhesive tape being spaced at least in regions from said deflection bead, while the adhesive tape section rests centrally on the deflection bead .
- the invention is based on the surprising finding that a deflection bead combined with a non-rotatable bridge sliding surface results in considerable improvements in the application of adhesive tape sections.
- the tape section adheres by means of the friction bridge.
- a metal bracket that presses the adhesive tape section against the application roller is no longer required. Rather, it has been shown that adhesion in the direction of or on the application roller can be brought about by the friction bridge, in particular without an element resting on the adhesive side of the adhesive tape section. Knotting or accidental detachment is prevented.
- said adhesion can be further improved by the concrete shaping and in particular also the orientation and positioning of the deflection bead and in particular also the bridge sliding surface and above all by a suitable choice of material.
- Another advantage here is that the adhesive tape, after leaving the non-rotating friction bridge containing the deflection bead and the bridge sliding surface, reliably and reproducibly reaches the final sliding surface/final contact surface via the application roller without turning over and sticking to itself. This also ensures safe working, in which, moreover, there are no rejects in the form of adhesive tape to be discarded.

Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Klebebandspender. The invention relates to an adhesive tape dispenser.
Adhesive tape dispensers are well known from the prior art.
A problem with the prior art is that tape can detach from the tape dispenser too early.
Another problem arises from noise pollution in the workplace. Tape dispensers can be very noisy when applying tape. Since professional adhesive tape dispensers are often used for hours and several days a week, this high volume can be a burden for the employee and, in extreme cases, can also affect the health of the employee. It is therefore advantageous if the adhesive tape dispensers apply adhesive tape as quietly as possible.
The object of the present invention was therefore to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and in particular to provide an adhesive tape dispenser with which adhesive tape can be applied particularly reliably, conveniently and with little noise.
The object is achieved by an adhesive tape dispenser according to
The handle can preferably be designed as a tangential or radial handle. The adhesive tape roll can optionally be part of the adhesive tape dispenser, but an adhesive tape dispenser without an adhesive tape roll is preferred, but which can hold an adhesive tape roll in the manner described above.
Surprisingly, the friction bridge with the deflection bead, in particular with the transverse elevation or the deflection contact surface of the deflection bead, and in particular also the bridge sliding surface, improves the application of adhesive tape sections quite considerably. However, it is assumed that an electrostatic attraction between the friction-generating deflection bead, in particular the transverse elevation or the deflection contact surface of the deflection bead, and/or the bridge sliding surface and the adhesive tape section could play a not inconsiderable role. It is also particularly surprising that these attractive forces beyond the deflection bead, in particular the transverse elevation or the deflection contact surface of the deflection bead, and in particular also the bridge sliding surface, can bring about improved adhesion, which may be related to the fact that the deflection bead and in particular also the bridge sliding surface are electrostatically charged by friction can generate, which also continues to work beyond the deflection bead or bridge sliding surface. Irrespective of the actual mechanism of action, the applicability of the adhesive tape is significantly improved with the friction bridge according to the invention and the probability of the adhesive tape knotting is reduced. In the adhesive tape dispenser according to the invention, the bridge sliding surface preferably acts as a sliding or contact surface for the adhesive tape sliding along it. preferably its non-adhesive reverse side, but can also serve only or additionally as a contact surface. In a possible embodiment variant, after leaving the deflection bead, the adhesive tape does not come into contact with the bridge sliding surface, or only partially, when passing the so-called bridge sliding surface. In these embodiments, the bridge sliding surface can also be referred to simply as a bridge surface.
In a further embodiment of the adhesive tape dispenser according to the invention, attention is paid to such an adhesive tape dispenser, comprising a handle in the form of a radial handle, a receiving device with a bearing, in particular a pivotable and/or rotatable bearing, in particular a central bearing, for a roll of adhesive tape, an application device with a bearing, in particular a rotatable one , Application roller, wherein the radial handle has a longitudinal axis, wherein the longitudinal axis, in particular the radial handle, and the application roller are located on opposite sides of an intermediate plane, the intermediate plane being arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis of the radial handle and the bearing axis of the bearing, in particular the central bearing, in one first bearing position lies in the intermediate plane and/or wherein the application roller and the bearing, in particular the central bearing, are on the same side with respect to the longitudinal axis when a cross section is viewed orthogonally to the bearing axis. The intermediate level is a level to be constructed hypothetically and not an actual device object of the adhesive tape dispenser device according to the invention. This adhesive tape dispenser comprises a non-rotatable friction bridge with a bridge sliding surface and a deflection bead, the adhesive tape dispenser being designed and set up in particular in such a way that a section of adhesive tape of an adhesive tape roll present on the bearing, in particular rotatably mounted, slides over the deflection bead and, if necessary, also over the bridge sliding surface or can slide before hitting the application device.
The radial handle allows a particularly compact design if its longitudinal axis is arranged as described above. In this case, the receiving device and the application roller are preferably located on the same side of the longitudinal axis.
The receiving device preferably also includes a mechanism for pivoting the bearing, in particular the central bearing, from the first bearing position into a second bearing position. For this purpose, the bearing is preferably attached to a pivotable swivel arm. The bearing is preferably rotatable and pivotable, in particular rotatable about its own bearing axis and pivotable by pivoting the pivot arm about a pivot arm axis, particularly preferably wherein the position of the bearing axis of deviates from the position of the swing arm axis and/or wherein said axes are substantially parallel. The bearing, in particular the central bearing, is preferably prestressed in order to move from the first to the second bearing position. When using the tape dispenser, if the roll of tape has a lot of tape, the stock will be at or near the first stock position and as the amount of tape on the roll of tape decreases, the stock will automatically approach the second stock position. This ensures that the friction bridge is always positioned close to the roll of tape. Where reference is made in this disclosure to the position of the bearing, the first bearing position is preferably meant unless the context dictates otherwise. The first storage position is preferably a position which is in the center of a cylindrical housing for the roll of adhesive tape.
A "handle" within the meaning of the present invention can take various forms. Tangential and radial grips have proven particularly useful. In the case of the radial handle, the handle points with its longitudinal axis in the direction of the bearing, particularly in the first bearing position. The longitudinal axis of a radial handle does not necessarily have to lead directly through the bearing in the first bearing position and/or the bearing axis in the first bearing position, but preferably close to it, in particular no more than 3 cm, particularly preferably no more than 2 cm, objected to by the bearing and/or the bearing axis in the first storage position, where the distance between the longitudinal axis and said bearing or said bearing axis in the first storage position is shortest. In the case of the radial handle, it is preferably provided that the shortest distance between the longitudinal axis and the bearing is present in the first bearing position beyond the radial handle. With a tangential grip, on the other hand, the grip does not point with its longitudinal axis to the bearing, particularly in the first and second bearing position. Instead, the longitudinal axis of the handle is further away from the bearing and/or the bearing axis than with the radial handle, especially where the distance between the longitudinal axis and said bearing or said bearing axis is shortest, more than 3 cm, in particular more than 4 cm. particularly preferably more than 5 cm, in particular in the first and/or second storage position. In the case of the tangential grip, it is preferably provided that the shortest distance between the longitudinal axis and the bearing, in particular in the first bearing position, is at a point on the longitudinal axis within the tangential grip. While the longitudinal axis of a radial grip preferably runs through an area in which the roll of adhesive tape is present when used in accordance with the generic type, this is usually not the case with a tangential grip. The longitudinal axis of a tangential grip usually does not come close to the roll of adhesive tape when used in accordance with the generic type, and in particular has a minimum distance of 3 cm from the outside area the roll of tape. The longitudinal axis of the handle can also be referred to as the handle axis. It is preferably the central axis of the handle which passes directly through the handle along its length. Both tangential and radial grips can have a basic cylindrical shape, with the cross section usually not being round but elliptical. Preferably, tangential and radial grips are linear and not curved.
A "section of adhesive tape" within the meaning of the present invention can be connected to the roll of adhesive tape, but is preferably no longer attached radially to the core of the roll of adhesive tape, but is detached, but is preferably still connected at the end to the rest of the roll of adhesive tape. This is therefore a section of adhesive tape that protrudes completely or partially from the roll of adhesive tape and is connected to the roll of adhesive tape at the end and/or in one piece, provided it has not yet been cut off. Typically, the portion of tape includes an adhesive tape side and an opposite non-adhesive tape side. In most cases, this is achieved by the adhesive tape being coated with an adhesive layer on only one side. After the adhesive tape section has been applied with the adhesive tape dispenser, i.e. after the adhesive tape section has been applied to a surface, it is usually cut off and another adhesive tape section can be applied. Said further section of adhesive tape has already been completely or partially detached from adhesive tape at the time it is cut off. It should be pointed out that the roll of adhesive tape and the section of adhesive tape are only optional components of the adhesive tape dispenser and an adhesive tape dispenser without an adhesive tape roll is also claimed.
Ein verschwenkbares Element ist analog zu verstehen mit demselben Referenzsystem."Rotationally fixed" in the sense of the present invention means that the corresponding element is fixed in a non-rotatable manner, for example connected or glued or screwed to it in one piece. Of course, the adhesive tape dispenser can be turned as a whole by a user and thus also the non-rotating elements. What is meant is that a non-rotatable element does not rotate in relation to the main body of the rest of the adhesive tape dispenser, in particular not in relation to the handle or possibly the housing. The reference system is therefore the adhesive tape dispenser itself, for example also the handle and possibly the housing of the adhesive tape dispenser. A rotatable element is rotatably connected to the remainder of the adhesive tape dispenser, in contrast to a non-rotatable element. Preferably, the corresponding element can also not perform a partial rotation and/or pivoting movement with respect to the reference system. A pivotable element is to be understood analogously with the same reference system.
The adhesive tape dispenser is preferably designed for an adhesive tape with an adhesive tape width and the deflection bead comprises a deflection contact surface which is less wide than the adhesive tape width of the adhesive tape, the adhesive tape section of the adhesive tape having adhesive tape edges and when the adhesive tape dispenser is used generically when sliding over the deflection bead with its adhesive tape edges is spaced from the deflection contact surface, in particular spaced from the deflection bead. Preferably said deflection contact surface comprises. This reduces noise emissions.
The adhesive tape dispenser is preferably designed for an adhesive tape with an adhesive tape width of at least 47 mm, with the deflection contact surface having an adhesive tape width of less than 43 mm, in particular less than 40 mm. In some configurations, the adhesive tape dispenser is designed for an adhesive tape with an adhesive tape width of 47 to 51 mm, the deflection contact surface having a contact surface length of less than 43 mm, in particular less than 40 mm. In some configurations, the deflection bead is designed in such a way that a polyvinyl chloride packing tape section of a polyvinyl chloride packing tape roll with an adhesive tape width of 48 to 50 mm is guided along said deflection bead in such a way that the edges of the polyvinyl chloride packing tape section do not contact the deflection bead, in particular the friction bridge on the deflection bead do not contact. In one configuration, the adhesive tape dispenser is designed for an adhesive tape with an adhesive tape width of 37 to 51 mm, the deflection contact surface having a contact surface length of less than 37 mm, in particular less than 35 mm. The length of the contact surface is preferably determined orthogonally to the direction in which the adhesive tape section slides over the deflection bead and in particular also over the bridge sliding surface.
In some configurations, the deflection bead includes a transverse elevation, in particular a transverse curvature.
The deflection bead preferably comprises said transverse elevation, the transverse elevation being designed and set up to distance the adhesive tape section from the deflection bead at the edges, while the adhesive tape section makes contact with the transverse elevation away from the edges of the adhesive tape. It is preferably provided that the transverse survey, in particular Transverse curvature, in the generic use, the edges of the adhesive tape section of an adhesive tape roll with an adhesive tape width of 48 mm to 50 mm distanced from the deflection bead.
The deflection bead preferably comprises a deflection contact surface with which the adhesive tape section is in contact when the adhesive tape dispenser is used in accordance with the generic type for applying adhesive tape. In some configurations, the adhesive tape edges of the adhesive tape are not in contact with said deflection contact surface, in particular with the deflection bead, in said generic use of the adhesive tape dispenser for applying adhesive tape. In a particularly expedient embodiment, the deflection bead is in one piece with the bridge sliding surface or the element that forms the bridge sliding surface. The deflection bead and the bridge sliding surface are preferably an integral part of the friction bridge.
Preferably, the transverse elevation, in particular at a distance from the friction bridge sides, has a transverse elevation maximum at which the adhesive tape section contacts, while the transverse elevation beyond the transverse elevation maximum, in particular two or more peripheral, transverse elevation minima, to which the adhesive tape section, in particular the adhesive tape edges of the adhesive tape section, at which generic use of the adhesive tape section for applying adhesive tape not contacted.
Preferably, the transverse ridge extends between opposite friction bridge sides of the friction bridge. In some configurations, the transverse elevation extends from or from a first friction bridge side to or towards a second friction bridge side. Preferably, the transverse ridge has a transverse ridge maximum which is between and spaced from the friction bridge sides, particularly spaced midway between the friction bridge sides. In one embodiment, the transverse elevation spans a polygonal or continuous arc from the first to the second friction bridge side.
The transverse elevation can be designed as a transverse curvature. Alternatively or additionally, a polygonally shaped transverse elevation is also conceivable. In some configurations, the polygonally shaped ridge has a cross-section in which it has two legs that comprise ridge minima and a linear connecting line between the limbs that comprises the transverse ridge maximum.
The transverse elevation preferably has at least one cross section which extends orthogonally to the running direction of the adhesive tape section on the transverse elevation and/or to the deflection sliding surface, the transverse elevation being visible in said cross section as a raised and/or curved contour. Alternatively or additionally, the transverse elevation has at least one cross section which extends parallel to the bridge sliding surface, the transverse elevation being visible in said cross section as a raised and/or curved contour. If the deflection curve does not have a transverse elevation, it can be provided that the deflection curve is not recognizable as a raised and/or curved contour, but as a straight line in said cross sections.
The adhesive tape dispenser includes a receiving device. In one configuration, the receiving device can comprise a carrier plate, a closed housing or a semi-closed housing. The housing is preferably designed and set up to accommodate the roll of adhesive tape and, if necessary, also to hold the cutting blade and the application roller. A closed or semi-open housing with a cylindrical recess for a roll of adhesive tape is particularly preferred. In one embodiment, the cutting blade is detachably connected to the receiving device, in particular the housing, preferably with no tools being required to loosen the cutting blade. A clamping mechanism, for example, has proven to be suitable.
In some configurations it is provided that after detachment from the roll of adhesive tape, the adhesive side of the adhesive tape section is guided without contact over the application roller and/or the friction bridge, in particular sliding over it with the non-adhesive side making contact. In the generic use, the receiving device preferably does not contact an adhesive tape, in particular the adhesive tape section, on the adhesive side, but only on the non-adhesive side.
It is particularly preferred if the recording device. In particular, the friction bridge and/or application roller is designed and set up to adhere to the non-adhesive side of the adhesive tape, in particular to the non-adhesive side of the adhesive tape section. The liability can be based, for example, on van der Walls forces and/or electrostatic forces of attraction. Unlike the sticky side, however, no adhesive is provided for adhesion. Metal brackets are also known from the prior art, which rest on the adhesive side and prevent the adhesive tape from becoming detached. However, this has the disadvantage that the friction is significantly increased. Surprisingly, such metal brackets are not required in the present invention.
The recording device includes a bearing for a roll of adhesive tape. The bearing is preferably rotatable in whole or in part, so that sections of adhesive tape can be unrolled from the roll of adhesive tape. In principle, it is also conceivable that the roll of adhesive tape includes a rotational bearing and is applied to a rotationally fixed bearing of the adhesive tape dispenser. In any case, it is preferred if a roll of adhesive tape connected to the bearing is rotatable, in particular rotatable about a bearing axis.
The bearing of the present invention is preferably designed as a central bearing, i.e. when a roll of adhesive tape is fixed to the bearing in the generic manner, the bearing is arranged centrally with respect to the roll of adhesive tape. In principle, there are also bearings that are not in the middle of the roll of adhesive tape. Nevertheless, central warehouses have proven particularly useful.
The application device includes an application roller. The adhesive tape section can be pressed onto the substrate to be covered with the adhesive tape with the application roller in order to achieve adhesion. It is preferably an application roller with a roller surface made of or comprising plastic. The plastic is preferably more elastic and/or softer than the material, in particular the plastic, of the friction bridge, particularly preferably the deflection bead and/or the bridge sliding surface. Although the application roller and the friction bridge are optimized for contacting the adhesive tape section, a more elastic and/or softer roller surface has proven to be advantageous. Due to a certain softness and/or elasticity, the rolling surface can compensate for unevenness in the substrate to which the adhesive tape is to be applied, so that more even pressing is facilitated. The frictional resistance of the application roller when it is not rotating is preferably higher than the frictional resistance of the deflection bead and/or the bridge sliding surface. It has thus proven itself to select a softer material for the rolling surface and/or application roller than for the friction bridge.
In a very particularly preferred embodiment, the rolling surface and/or application roller is provided with a powder, in particular coated. In one embodiment, the powder is talc or powdered talc. The powder adheres to the rolling surface and/or applicator roll and improves the unrolling of the tape. This works particularly well if the rolling surface is more elastic and/or softer than the material, in particular the plastic, of the friction bridge, in particular the deflection bead and/or the bridge sliding surface.
In one embodiment, the friction bridge is arranged between the application roller and the bearing, particularly when the bearing is in the second bearing position.
In an expedient embodiment, the friction bridge and/or deflection bead and/or bridge sliding surface is installed in the adhesive tape dispenser in such a way that it is non-rotatable so that it does not come into contact, in particular does not come into contact, with the generic use for applying adhesive tape on a level surface can. This makes it easier to unroll.
The friction bridge is preferably designed and set up to come into contact with the non-adhesive side of an adhesive tape when used in accordance with the generic type.
It is also preferred if the bridge sliding surface has a bridge sliding surface length which is greater than or essentially the same as the length of the application roller. Two lengths are essentially the same size at least when the longer of the lengths is no more than 20%, in particular no more than 10%, longer. It has been shown that the adhesion of the adhesive tape section to the bridge sliding surface is better the larger the bridge sliding surface is. The friction bridge and/or the deflection bead and/or the bridge sliding surface preferably has a sliding surface width which is at least 10% of the sliding surface length of the deflection bead and/or the bridge sliding surface, in particular at least 25%. However, the width of the sliding surface should preferably not be more than 200%, in particular not more than 100%, particularly preferably not more than 70%, of the length of the sliding surface of the bridge sliding surface. A comparatively large sliding surface width of the deflection bead and/or the bridge sliding surface ensures better adhesion of the adhesive tape section. However, if the sliding surface width of the bridge sliding surface becomes too large, it is more difficult to accommodate it within the adhesive tape dispenser in a space-saving manner. Said sliding surface width is preferably determined in the direction in which the adhesive tape section slides over the bridge sliding surface. Said sliding surface length is preferably determined orthogonal to this direction.
The friction bridge and/or the deflection bead and/or the bridge sliding surface preferably has a bridge width which is at least 10% of the bridge length of the friction bridge, in particular at least 25%. However, the bridge width should preferably not be more than 200%, in particular not more than 100%, particularly preferably not more than 70%, of the bridge length of the friction bridge. Said bridge width is preferably determined in the direction in which the adhesive tape section slides over the bridge sliding surface. Said bridge length is preferably determined orthogonal to this direction.
Vorzugsweise hat die Brückengleitfläche eine Größe von mindestens 1 cm2, insbesondere mindestens 2 cm2, insbesondere bevorzugt mindestens 5 cm2.The bridge sliding surface preferably has a size of at least 1 cm 2 , in particular at least 2 cm 2 , particularly preferably at least 5 cm 2 .
The friction bridge preferably comprises a plastic, in particular consists predominantly, i.e. at least 50%, of this, preferably at least 80% or completely. In principle, a friction bridge made of metal is also conceivable, but plastics have proven to be particularly useful. Said plastic is preferably selected from a group consisting of polyamide, polycarbonate, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer, polyacetals, in particular polyoxymethylene (POM), polyurethane, polyketone, polyester-urethane rubber, polyetherketone, in particular PEK, PEKK , PEEEL, polymethacrylate. Hard plastics have proven to be particularly suitable, especially with regard to adhesive properties and friction. The friction bridge preferably comprises the plastic polyamide, in particular polyamide 6.6 or
The aforementioned plastic of the friction bridge preferably forms the surface of the bridge sliding surface and/or, preferably and, the deflection bead, in particular the surface of the entire friction bridge. The bridge sliding surface and/or the deflection bead preferably consists of one of the plastics mentioned, in particular polyamide and/or polyoxymethylene. The core of the friction bridge can also be made of a different plastic, for example that of the other components of the adhesive tape dispenser, or it can be made of a different material, for example a metal.
In a further embodiment, the friction bridge is designed in one piece, in particular from one of the plastics mentioned.
The friction bridge is preferably secured against rotation via at least one, in particular mechanical, fixing element. Alternatively or additionally, the friction bridge can be glued to the rest of the adhesive tape dispenser or can be made in one piece with it. Screws, nails, bolts, etc. have proven to be suitable as fixing elements, and these can be made of metal or plastic, for example. The friction bridge is preferably fastened in a rotationally fixed manner via a first and second fixing element. Two to four fixation elements are particularly suitable to prevent any rotation.
The friction bridge may include at least one stiffening leg. The stiffening leg gives additional stability. A first stiffening leg can be provided for the first fixing means and a second stiffening leg for the second fixing means.
Preferably, the friction bridge is non-rotatably connected to the rest of the tape dispenser at at least four points.
The friction bridge includes a deflection bead. It is preferred here if the adhesive tape section is deflected at the deflection bead during generic use of the adhesive tape dispenser, preferably a deflection by at least 45°, in particular by at least 90°, particularly preferably by more than 90°.
The deflection bead can be connected in one piece to the bridge sliding surface. It can also be designed as a deflection pin. The deflection pin is designed to be rotatable or non-rotatable, preferably non-rotatable. The deflection bead can also be formed spaced apart from the bridge sliding surface, in particular spaced apart by a bridge recess.
The deflection bead is preferably rounded off with a central osculating circle. The rounding or a cross section of the rounding preferably has at least one rounded area with a point, in particular a second point, whose osculating circle, also called the circle of curvature, has an average osculating circle radius, in particular a second average osculating circle radius, of 0.1 mm to 50 mm, preferably 0 2 mm to 20 mm, particularly preferably 0.7 to 10 mm. The deflection bead can also be formed by a deflection pin with said average osculating circle radius.
The friction bridge preferably comprises a receiving curvature, in particular a concave one. It is particularly preferred if the receiving curvature ensures that the friction bridge does not collide with the application roller, thus preventing friction between the application roller and the friction bridge by receding in this area. The application roller preferably borders on the receiving curvature.
In an expedient embodiment, the friction bridge comprises a deflection section, in particular a preferably rounded deflection edge. The deflection section is preferably designed to detach the adhesive tape section from the friction bridge if it is in contact with it. In numerous configurations, the deflection section, in particular the deflection edge, marks one end of the bridge sliding surface. The deflection section, in particular the deflection edge or bridge sliding surface, can be adjoined by a surface that is inclined relative to the bridge sliding surface. In some configurations, the friction bridge comprises said deflection section, in particular said deflection edge, with the deflection section being closer to the application roller than the deflection bead, in particular with the adhesive tape dispenser being designed and set up in such a way that an adhesive tape section of an adhesive tape roll present on the store slides over the deflection section as it unrolls and is deflected there and/or separated from the friction bridge. It can be provided that the adhesive tape does not or only partially contact the inclined surface when used in accordance with the generic type.
In some configurations, the friction bridge includes a rounded contact bead in addition to the deflection bead. The rounded contact bead should preferably receive the adhesive tape, in particular detach it. The deflection bead can also be rounded and receive the adhesive tape. A contact bead is therefore not absolutely necessary. If a contact bead is provided, it has proven useful if the deflection bead is rounded less than the contact bead, in particular the rounding of the contact bead describes a larger mean osculating circle radius. The contact bead is preferably provided closer to the deflection bead than to the deflection section, in particular the deflection edge. It is also particularly preferred if the bridge sliding surface extends to the deflection bead and the rounded contact bead is beyond the deflection bead. In some configurations, the adhesive tape first contacts the rounded contact bead of the friction bridge as it unrolls.
In some preferred configurations, a contact bead is not provided and the deflection bead, which is in particular rounded, accepts the adhesive tape in the generic use.
The deflection bead preferably transitions continuously into the bridge sliding surface, in particular continuously in the mathematical sense and/or without forming a sharp edge.
Preferably, said contact bead has a rounded area in cross section with a first point, the osculating circle of which has a first mean osculating circle radius. The deflection bead preferably has a rounded area with a second point in cross section, the osculating circle of which has a second mean osculating circle radius. In one configuration, the second mean oscillating circle radius is many times smaller than the first mean osculating circle radius, in particular at least three times smaller. The second mean osculating radius is preferably 0.1 mm to 10 mm, in particular 0.2 mm to 3 mm, particularly preferably 0.7 to 2 mm. It is assumed that a mean second mean osculating circle radius is associated with greater friction and thus with greater electrostatic charging.
Preferably, the bearing for a roll of adhesive tape, which is in particular rotatable about its own axis, can be pivoted between a first and a second bearing position, in particular from the first to the second bearing position and no further in each case and also vice versa, with the bearing being attached to a pivot arm which connected to a preloaded swivel arm spring, the swivel arm spring urging the swivel arm and the bearing towards the second bearing position, the bearing being closer to the deflection bead of the friction bridge in the second bearing position than in the first bearing position. Preferably, the crossbar for the activation plate is oriented orthogonally to a pivot bar, with the pivot arm pivoting about the pivot bar.
Die Fixierungsauskragung sichert den Klebebandabschnitt zusätzlich und schirmt die Brückengleitfläche ab.Preferably, at least one fixing projection, in particular a first and, preferably opposite, second fixing projection is provided opposite the bridge sliding surface, in particular with a passage being located between the first and second fixing projection. The at least one fixing projection preferably does not contact the adhesive tape section in the generic use and is spaced apart from the bridge sliding surface and the friction bridge. The at least one fixing projection is preferably permanently installed, i.e. neither rotatable nor pivotable. The fixation projection additionally secures the tape section and shields the bridge sliding surface.
The handle preferably has a longitudinal axis, in particular the longitudinal axis already described, with the longitudinal axis and the application roller being located on opposite sides of an intermediate plane, with the intermediate plane being parallel to the longitudinal axis is arranged and the bearing axis of the bearing is in the first bearing position in the intermediate plane. In one embodiment, this longitudinal axis is less than 5 cm, preferably less than 3 cm, away from the bearing in the first bearing position. This enables a particularly efficient and compact design.
In an expedient embodiment, the bearing for a roll of adhesive tape can be pivoted into such a position that a line and/or plane connecting the application roller axis of the application roller and the bearing axis of the bearing can be defined, which essentially runs parallel to at least one section of the bridge sliding surface. "Essentially parallel" means that the deviation from an exactly parallel orientation is less than 20°, in particular less than 10°, preferably less than 5°. This can be the case, for example, in the first storage position or in a third storage position, with the third storage position being between the first and second storage positions. Alternatively or additionally, provision is preferably made for the bridge sliding surface to run essentially parallel to the application roller axis and/or bearing axis. In one embodiment, a line connecting the application roller axis and bearing axis can be defined, with the bridge sliding surface being oriented essentially parallel to this line and essentially parallel to the application roller axis and/or bearing axis.
In some configurations, the bridge sliding surface is curved. However, the bridge sliding surface is preferably planar and flat, i.e. without curvature.
In a further expedient embodiment, the adhesive tape dispenser comprises a, in particular removable, cutting knife, in particular with a perforation, which can be transferred from a shielded first knife position into a second knife position in which the cutting knife protrudes freely. It has been shown that the cutting blade makes it easier to separate the adhesive tape strip after application. The two knife positions reduce the risk of injury and also prevent accidental cutting off. For example, a button or slide control can be provided with which the knife is manually extended. However, it has proven useful if the adhesive tape dispenser includes a pre-stressed activation plate, the pre-stressed activation plate, when it is loaded with pressure and moved, transfers the cutting knife to the second knife position, counter to the direction of movement of the activation plate, in which the cutting knife protrudes freely. This automatism makes it easier to detach the adhesive tape.
The cutting blade is preferably connected to a mounting block or includes such a mounting block, wherein the mounting block can facilitate fixing of the cutting blade and replacement of the cutting blade. Preferably, the cutting blade can be detached from the receiving block, in particular can be detached without tools.
In some embodiments, the tape dispenser comprises an activation plate spring having a first wire helically wrapped around a crossbar and a second wire helically wrapped around said crossbar, the first and second wires being integrally connected by a bracket, the activation plate having a recess and/or Has projection for fixing the bracket. Surprisingly, it has been shown that the detachment of an applied section of adhesive tape now takes place better. This is by no means a matter of course. To the extent that activation plates are described in the prior art, the crossbar is considered sufficient to rotatably fix the activation plate spring. However, an additional fixation is achieved by means of the recess and/or projection. In principle, gluing is also possible, but mechanical fixation has proven itself, in particular by clamping or holding the bracket through the recess and/or projection. It is believed that the activation plate now hits harder, which makes it easier to cleanly separate an applied section of adhesive tape.
The activation plate can additionally have reinforcement elements, in particular a first and second reinforcement element.
The adhesive tape dispenser preferably comprises an end sliding surface, in particular adjacent to a gap through which the cutting device, in particular the cutting blade, emerges. In one configuration, the end sliding surface comprises metal, in particular aluminum. It is therefore provided shortly before the end at which the section of adhesive tape is severed. The end sliding surface can therefore also be referred to as the end contact surface for an adhesive tape section. The end sliding surface or the end contact surface helps to guide the adhesive tape, with electrostatic interactions being suspected without being bound by theory.
In an expedient embodiment, the adhesive tape dispenser comprises an adhesive tape roll and an adhesive tape section unrolled from the adhesive tape roll and connected to the adhesive tape roll, the adhesive tape section having an adhesive adhesive tape side and an opposite non-adhesive adhesive tape side, the opposite non-adhesive adhesive tape side having a partial area on the deflection bead and the application roller or rests against the deflection bead and the bridge sliding surface and the application roller.
In a further expedient embodiment, the adhesive tape dispenser does not include an adhesive tape roll and an adhesive tape section unrolled from the adhesive tape roll, although it is suitable for these.
The adhesive tape dispenser is preferably designed and set up to guide the adhesive tape section around the deflection bead during application, the adhesive tape edges being spaced at least in regions from said deflection bead, while the adhesive tape section rests centrally on the deflection bead. The invention also relates to an adhesive tape dispenser for the noise-reduced application of adhesive tape with an adhesive tape dispenser as described above, with a section of adhesive tape being guided around a deflection bead during application and the edges of the adhesive tape being spaced at least in regions from said deflection bead, while the section of adhesive tape rests centrally on the deflection bead .
The invention also relates to a method for the noise-reduced application of adhesive tape with an adhesive tape dispenser as described above, the adhesive tape section being guided around a deflection bead during application and the edges of the adhesive tape being spaced at least in regions from said deflection bead, while the adhesive tape section rests centrally on the deflection bead .
The invention is based on the surprising finding that a deflection bead combined with a non-rotatable bridge sliding surface results in considerable improvements in the application of adhesive tape sections. The tape section adheres by means of the friction bridge. Surprisingly, a metal bracket that presses the adhesive tape section against the application roller is no longer required. Rather, it has been shown that adhesion in the direction of or on the application roller can be brought about by the friction bridge, in particular without an element resting on the adhesive side of the adhesive tape section. Knotting or accidental detachment is prevented. In this case, said adhesion can be further improved by the concrete shaping and in particular also the orientation and positioning of the deflection bead and in particular also the bridge sliding surface and above all by a suitable choice of material. While there are definitely solutions in the prior art to ensure the transfer of the adhesive tape to the cutting blade, the present invention shows that a significant improvement is nevertheless possible here by the way of the tape is carefully controlled without altering the tape itself. The development of noise could also be reduced with numerous of the described configurations, in particular with a transverse elevation. In particular, it has proven to be very advantageous that after a section of adhesive tape has been cut off with the cutting knife of the adhesive tape dispenser according to the invention, the adhesive tape remains in contact with the end sliding surface or end contact surface. In this way, the adhesive tape is immediately available for the subsequent gluing process. Another advantage here is that the adhesive tape, after leaving the non-rotating friction bridge containing the deflection bead and the bridge sliding surface, reliably and reproducibly reaches the final sliding surface/final contact surface via the application roller without turning over and sticking to itself. This also ensures safe working, in which, moreover, there are no rejects in the form of adhesive tape to be discarded.
