Definitions
- the invention relates to a rod holder for subsequent attachment to a trampoline.
- the trampolines are so-called mini-trampolines, which are also called fitness trampolines. Such trampolines have a maximum diameter of 2 to 3 meters and are used in physiotherapy and fitness.
- trampolines with a spring suspension and a rubber rope suspension.
- the jumping mat is attached to the frame with metal spiral springs.
- One or more elastic rope rings or (open) ropes are used with the bungee cord suspension, which connect the jumping mat to the frame.
- the greater elasticity of such a rubber cable suspension compared to the metal springs ensures that the body brakes "softer" and is not gentle in this respect only the joints, but also lengthens the muscular loading and unloading phases when jumping, which has beneficial training effects.
- the invention is directed both to trampolines with spring suspensions and to trampolines in which the suspension is designed as an elastic rope or elastic rope ring.
- the invention can be used with any type of trampoline, regardless of the type of suspension of the jumping mat and the geometry of the frame.
- trampolines have a surrounding frame from which legs extend.
- the jumping mat is stretched between the frame.
- the legs ensure that the frame is at a certain distance from the ground when the trampoline is set up. This ensures that the jumping mat can move towards the ground when jumping.
- the frame consists of a tube that is bent to create the frame.
- a handrail is used for a secure hold on the trampoline, with the handrail generally having handles extending laterally from the handrail at its free end, which the user can hold on to during the exercises.
- Such handrails are also called T-bars called because its basic form corresponds to the letter "T".
- a trampoline is known in which the support rod is attached to one leg of the trampoline via an intermediate piece.
- the handrail is secured by two side braces that connect the lower end of the handrail to the adjacent legs of the trampoline.
- the known construction is stable. However, it requires a high cost of materials. In addition, the assembly is complex.
- a trampoline is known in which the support rod can be inserted into a receiving device which is welded to the frame.
- the trampolines are already structurally prepared so that the handrail can be attached to the trampoline. If the handrail is not required, it can be dismantled or removed from the trampoline.
- the invention is based on the object of creating a device with the aid of which conventional trampolines can be retrofitted in such a way that a holding rod can be attached to the trampolines.
- the rod holder according to the invention is intended for subsequent attachment to a trampoline.
- the holder has a first base element, in which a holding device for holding a holding rod is formed.
- the holding rod is preferably inserted into the holding device after the rod holder has been attached to the trampoline.
- the holding rod can therefore preferably be inserted into the holding device.
- the first base member has a first socket for releasably receiving a peripheral frame of the trampoline and a second socket for releasably receiving a leg of the trampoline.
- the first base element performs two tasks, namely, on the one hand, receiving the frame and, on the other hand, receiving a leg. This allows the rod holder to be attached to the trampoline in a particularly stable manner.
- a clamping device is also provided which is movable relative to the first base element.
- the movable arrangement of the clamping device relative to the first base element allows both the leg to be braced against the second receptacle and the frame to be braced against the first receptacle at the same time.
- the tensioning device advantageously applies a compressive force to a retaining rod inserted into the retaining device and advantageously pulls the frame and the leg into the respective receptacle.
- the frames of conventional fitness trampolines usually have a round cross-section. The same goes for the legs.
- the first receptacle and the second receptacle have support surfaces that are curved.
- the supporting surfaces can be designed in the shape of a part of a circle.
- the support surfaces do not have to completely encircle the frame in order to support the frame and the leg. Rather, it is sufficient if the support surfaces only support part of the frame and the leg.
- the curved mounts offer a stable support for the frame and the leg and at the same time ensure good dimensional stability of the first base element.
- the holding device serves to hold the holding rod.
- the holding device preferably has a first opening and a second opening arranged at a distance therefrom.
- Such a holding device has a simple structure, is dimensionally stable and, due to the distance between the openings in the holding rod, offers a good hold, even under high loads, such as occur during training on the trampoline.
- the first base member has a housing having a top in which the first opening is formed and a bottom spaced therefrom in which the second opening is formed.
- the housing can be open on one side.
- the housing is preferably made of metal.
- the second receptacle is located adjacent to the second opening.
- both the second opening and the second receptacle can be formed in the underside of the housing.
- the first base element forms a web between the second receptacle and the second opening.
- the web advantageously forms a contact surface for the holding rod.
- An advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the clamping device has a first clamping means and a second clamping means, the distance between the first clamping means and the second clamping means being variable when the clamping device is clamped.
- the frame and the leg can advantageously be clamped against the first base element.
- the holding rod is advantageously clamped against the first base element.
- the frame and the leg on one side and the support rod on the other side clamp the first base element between them.
- the first clamping means can be a threaded pin of the clamping device, as will be explained in more detail later.
- the threaded pin can press directly against the support rod.
- a force transmission element can be arranged between the holding rod and the threaded pin.
- the second clamping means can be a pulling device such as a bracket and/or a second base element, as will be described in more detail below.
- the fixture includes actuator means for operating a threaded stem threadedly engaged with a base of the fixture.
- the actuating device can be a lever with which the threaded stem is rotated. Compared to a hand screw, a lever is suitable for applying high clamping forces. The clamping force is applied via the base.
- both the frame and the leg are braced against the first and second mounts. It was surprisingly found that at a central application of the clamping force via the clamping device, a particularly stable and uniform clamping can be achieved.
- the threaded pin is arranged at a height between the first receptacle and the second receptacle. This achieves good bracing of both the frame and the leg. At the same time, good bracing of the holding rod is also achieved.
- Two lateral legs preferably extend from the base.
- the lateral legs can be arranged inside the first base element. They can also be arranged outside of the first base element. The legs can transmit the required tensile force particularly well.
- the legs advantageously form a bracket.
- the bracket can be open at the end.
- Such a construction can advantageously act on a second base element and is connected to the second base element either permanently or detachably for this purpose.
- the legs are preferably arranged on the outside of the first base element. If the legs are firmly connected to the second base element, they can be welded to the second base element, for example. Alternatively, the bracket is closed. Then the bracket itself can advantageously reach behind the leg.
- the threaded pin can act directly on the support rod. Such a construction is simple.
- a force transmission element is preferably arranged between the base and the first base element.
- the load is not applied to the support rod at specific points, but over a large area.
- the force transmission element is at least as wide as the holding device, preferably at least as wide as the openings of the holding device.
- the force transmission element be guided between the lateral legs. So it is held by the two legs.
- the force-transmitting element at least partially reaches over and/or understeps the base. This again results in better guidance of the force transmission element.
- a particularly advantageous construction is characterized in that the threaded pin passes through the power transmission element.
- the force can be applied to the force transmission element by the actuating device, for example the lever.
- the threaded pin is advantageously decoupled from the force-transmitting element.
- the threaded pin can be supported with its free end on the force transmission element.
- a development of the invention is characterized in that the clamping device has a second base element which interacts with the first base element.
- the second base member adds even more stability to the assembled pole mount.
- the second base element as wide and/or as high as the first base element. This not only has optical advantages, but also requires an advantageous power transmission to the frame and the leg.
- the second base element has a third seat for releasably receiving the peripheral frame of the trampoline and a fourth seat for releasably receiving one leg of the trampoline.
- the clamping force is also introduced both via the frame and via the leg, which establishes a particularly stable attachment of the rod holder to the trampoline.
- An advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the first receptacle and the third receptacle form a frame opening for receiving the frame and/or the second receptacle and the fourth receptacle form a leg opening for receiving the leg when the rod guide is in the assembled state.
- the frame and/or the leg are thus essentially completely enclosed.
- the wording "substantially” takes into account that a slight gap still remains between the first and second base elements in order to apply the tensioning force to the frame and the leg.
- the rod holder can be easily attached to the trampoline. This is also relevant in view of the fact that in many cases the attachment is carried out by the end user who also bought the trampoline.
- the first or the second base element can have a profiled projection with which it can engage in the other base element for connection.
- the tensioning device preferably encompasses the first base element and the second base element in the assembled state.
- the two legs can be used for this purpose. A high tensile force can be applied via the legs.
- the encompassing clamping device therefore also forms a guide for the two base elements, so that they can be easily aligned during assembly.
- the tensioning device when tensioning the tensioning device, pretensions the second base element in the direction of the first base element. As already explained above, this results in an advantageous force distribution.
- a particularly compact design of the rod holder is characterized in that the second base element has recesses on both sides, into which the tensioning device engages with one projection each.
- the legs of the tensioning device preferably each have a projection which engages in the second base element.
- the recesses make it possible for the clamping device not to have to completely encompass the second base element in order to transmit the clamping force.
- FIG. 12 shows an exploded view of an embodiment of the rod holder according to the invention.
- the rod holder has a first base element 1 .
- the first base element is preferably made of metal.
- figure 2 shows the first base element 1 in a different view.
- the first base element 1 has a first receptacle 2 for releasably receiving a frame 3 of a trampoline and a second receptacle 4 for releasably receiving a leg 5 of the trampoline.
- the frame 3 and the leg 5 of the trampoline are only partially shown for reasons of clarity. This also applies to the other characters.
- the first base element 1 also has a holding device 6 for holding a holding rod 7 .
- the holding device 6 has a first opening 8 and a second opening 9 .
- the openings 8, 9 are preferably arranged at a distance from one another. The openings 8, 9 are advantageously aligned.
- the first base element 1 has an upper side 10 in which the first opening 8 is formed and a lower side 11 in which the second opening 9 is formed.
- the openings 8 , 9 are angular, which has the advantage that the holding rod 7 cannot rotate in the holding device 6 .
- the invention also includes round openings in the holding device 6.
- the reference number 12 denotes a front panel, which primarily has a decorative function.
- the first receptacle 2 is preferably formed by side walls 13, 14 of the first base element. As a result, the frame 3 can be supported particularly well. In particular, there is no risk of the first base element 1 turning around the leg 5 unintentionally.
- the side walls 13, 14 are preferably connected to the upper side 10 and the lower side 11 in one piece.
- the first receptacle 2 has two support surfaces 15 .
- the support surfaces 15 are preferably arranged at a distance from one another. They are advantageously formed by the side walls 13,14. The distance results from the distance between the side walls 13, 14.
- the second receptacle has a support surface 16.
- FIG. The supporting surfaces 15, 16 are advantageously curved, in particular part-circular, in order to adapt to the frame cross section and the leg cross section.
- the first base element 1 has two supporting surfaces 15 for supporting a frame of the trampoline and a support surface 16 for supporting a leg of the trampoline and further a first opening 8 and a second opening 9 for receiving a support rod of the trampoline.
- the support surfaces 15 are adjacent and spaced apart. Such a construction is resistant to rotation and tipping.
- a tensioning device which in the present case consists of an actuating device 17 , a threaded pin 18 coupled to the actuating device 17 , a bracket 19 and a second base element 20 .
- the threaded pin 18 can be screwed into a thread 21 of the bracket 19 .
- a force transmission element 22 can be provided, the function of which will be explained later.
- the second base element 20 has a third seat 23 for receiving the frame 3 and a fourth seat 24 for receiving the leg 5 .
- the third receptacle has two support surfaces 25 formed by side walls 26,27.
- the support surfaces 25 of the second base element 20 have the same distance from one another as the support surfaces 15 of the first base element 1.
- the side walls 26, 27 of the second base element 20 have the same distance from one another as the side walls 13, 14 of the first base element 1.
- Reference number 28 is a Marked recess.
- the first base element 1 can engage in the recess 28 with a profiled projection 29 .
- the profiled projection 29 is designed as a jigsaw puzzle piece.
- Other forms are conceivable.
- the second base element has a profiled projection which engages in a recess of the first base element.
- both base elements have a profiled projection with which they engage in the respective other base element.
- the frame 3 and the leg 5 are clamped against the first base member 1 by the clamping device.
- the clamping device can be moved relative to the first base element 1 .
- the function of the clamping device is explained below.
- the bracket 19 has a base 30 and two lateral legs 31 .
- the legs 31 each have a projection 32 at their free end.
- the second base element 20 has two recesses 33 into which the legs 31 with the projections 32 can be pushed for assembly.
- the bracket is positively (but detachably) connected to the second base element 20 .
- the frame 3 and leg 5 are received between the first base member 1 and the second base member 20 .
- the profiled projection 29 engages in the recess 28.
- the force transmission element 22 is inserted over the base 30 of the bracket 19 (see, for example figure 3 ) and the threaded stem 18 is screwed into the base.
- the first base element 1 and the second base element 20 are then connected in that the clip 19 is pushed onto the first base element 1 .
- the first base element 1 has shoulders 34 on which the force transmission element 22 is supported.
- the legs 31 are pushed with their approaches 32 in the recesses 33.
- the holding rod 7 is also braced in the holding device 6 due to the force transmission element 22 .
- the threaded pin acts directly on the holding rod 7 .
- the first base element 1 can also (for example in the plane of the front panel 12) have an end wall in which a bore is formed for the threaded pin to pass through.
- the actuating device 17 (for example a lever or a hand screw) is then supported on the end wall. It is therefore possible with one actuating device to fix both the rod holder on a trampoline and a holding rod 7 in the rod holder.
- the frame 3 (only partially shown here) is clamped between the first base element 1 and the second base element 20 .
- the (here also only partially shown) support rod 7 is in the Retaining device 6 plugged.
- the force transmission element 22 is supported on the first base element 1 and is slidably guided between the two legs 31 of the bracket 19 .
- the force transmission element 22 preferably has an upper side 35, with which it engages over the base 30 of the bracket 19, and an underside 36, with which it engages under the bracket.
- the force transmission element 22 is guided on the bracket 19 .
- the force transmission element 22 can have laterally protruding lugs 37 (see figure 5 ) Have, with which it grips under the bracket 19, in particular its leg 31, and which provide additional stabilization.
- the force transmission element 22 also has an opening 38 through which the threaded pin 18 extends in order to engage in the thread 21 of the bracket 19 . Since the bracket 19 engages with its lugs 32 in the recesses 33 of the second base element 20 (see figures 4 and 5 ), turning the threaded pin 18 results in the second base element 20 being pulled towards the first base element 1 .
- the actuating device 17 is supported on the force transmission element 22, which in turn is supported on the inserted holding rod 7.
- high clamping forces are possible, which fix both the support rod 7 and the frame 3 and the leg 5.
- the rod holder can also be installed without the rod being inserted.
- the power transmission piece 22 is not supported on the (missing) support rod 7, but on the first base element 1, preferably on the shoulders 34.
- FIG. 12 shows a sectional view of an assembled rod mount.
- a web 39 is formed between the second opening 9 of the holding device 6 and the second receptacle 16 of the first base element 1 .
- This web 39 serves at the same time as a support surface for the holding rod 7, which is pressed onto this support surface by the force transmission element 22.
- the pressure is applied from the outside by the (in figure 6 also not shown) actuating device 17 is applied, which biases the front plate 40 of the force transmission element 22 in the direction of the base 30 and thus presses the force transmission element 22 against the holding rod 7 .
- the second base element 20 is pulled in the direction of the first base element 1 by the projections 32 engaging in the recesses 33 .
- a gap 41 is provided between the first base element 20 and the second base element 20 so that a clamping force can be applied.
- the rod holder can still be attached to the frame 3 and the leg 5. Then the power transmission element 22 is based on the paragraphs 34 (see figure 1 ) away. So that the force of the clamping device can be applied to the frame 3 and the leg 5, it is advantageous if the threaded pin 18 or the thread 21 at a height between the first receptacle 2 - whose apex plane is marked with the reference numeral 42 - and the second receptacle 4 is arranged. Irrespective of this, it is also advantageous if the threaded pin 18 or the thread 21 seen laterally at a height between the first opening 8 and the second opening 9 is arranged.
- references to location such as “sideways,””top,””bottom,” or “height” and other references are used within the scope of the invention, and unless otherwise noted, such references relate to an upright pole mount such as is attached to a standing trampoline .
