Description

The present invention relates to a channel element comprising a U-shaped channel body made of concrete or polymer concrete, the two vertical legs of the channel body forming the side walls which are connected via a channel bottom which forms the horizontal section of the channel body. The gutter body includes a watercourse and a gutter cover is supported at the top of the side walls.

The object of the invention is to create a channel element which realizes an effective cleaning of the water flowing into the channel element.

This object is achieved by a channel element with the features of claim 1. Advantageous further developments of the invention are the subject matter of the dependent claims.

According to the invention, in the above-described channel element between the side walls a water-permeable, e.g. arranged porous plate which extends at least approximately horizontally. The water-permeable plate is preferably held on the inside of the side walls. It can also be held on the channel floor by additional contact areas. A filter substrate, for example an open bed, is arranged on the water-permeable plate. This inventive design of the channel element divides the channel element into an upper inlet area, a central filter area, which is formed by the combination of the filter substrate and the porous plate, and a lower drainage area below the porous plate, which is designed to discharge the water . Due to the fact that the filter substrate is arranged on the water-permeable plate, on the one hand floating and suspended matter as well as pollutants are filtered off, which contributes to the fact that the water is at least partially cleaned and, on the other hand, the water-permeable plate maintains its porosity and not due to the flowing in suspended matter clogged. Due to the fact that the water-permeable plate consists essentially of the same basic material as the channel body, namely concrete, there are no corrosion problems, even if the interior of the channel element is constantly under moisture and there are also no temperature-related stresses in the material. The channel element according to the invention achieves a good cleaning effect with little manufacturing effort.

In this application, “water-permeable plate” is understood to mean a plate with a kf or passage value - also called the permeability coefficient - higher than 0.0001 m / s. The kf value is preferably between 0.0001 m / s, in particular 0.0005 m / s and 0.01 m / s. The passage value itself is defined under DIN 18130-1.

The water-permeable plate is preferably a drain concrete plate. A concrete with an open porosity that leads to the specified passage value is called drain concrete. The water-permeable plate can also not be made of expanded clay, porous ceramic and others corrosive, porous materials. For example, porous materials made of (precious) metal or plastic or hybrid materials can also be used, which have the passage value specified above.

The term "plate" is understood to mean a flat, planar or three-dimensional element, the rigidity or load-bearing capacity of which is large enough to carry the water-saturated filter substrate fill, possibly with use, whereby a safety factor can be taken into account with regard to the load-bearing capacity according to requirements.

In order to increase the retention of pollutants and to protect the water-permeable plate from colmation by penetrating filter substrate, a filter fleece is additionally arranged between the filter substrate bed and the water-permeable plate. The channel element thus retains a long functionality before an exchange of the substrate or the water-permeable plate becomes necessary.

In an advantageous development of the invention, the two side walls have a smaller distance down to the watercourse than on the upper half of the channel element and the water-permeable plate rests against the side walls with its lateral end faces facing away from each other and is thereby held. In this way, no additional holder is necessary for the water-permeable plate in the channel body, since it is held solely by the downwardly narrowing cross section of the interior of the channel body. This embodiment can be easily implemented in terms of production technology and is mechanically insusceptible.

In the contact area of the water-permeable plate on the side walls, the thickness of the side walls is preferably at least a quarter, preferably at least 30% of the total width of the channel, which means here the total thickness of the two side walls. This feature ensures that the channel body is strong enough to be able to absorb the expansion forces that occur due to the end-side contact of the water-permeable plate against the side walls.

The channel body is preferably steel-reinforced, in which case the channel body is strong enough to be able to absorb the pressure introduced by clamping the water-permeable plate between the side walls without any problems. In addition, this, together with the massive training, i.e. the ratio of the thickness of the side walls to the channel width, the channel element is also suitable for high loads.

In an advantageous development of the invention, the channel element has a float protection which is arranged below the contact area of the water-permeable plate on the side walls. In this way, the float protection, which forms a reinforcement of the channel body, is designed at the same time to prevent the stability of the channel body from spreading due to the forces introduced by the water-permeable plate.

A metal frame for receiving a channel cover is preferably arranged at the upper ends of the side walls, and is anchored in the concrete with metal anchors. In this way, a gutter cover can be securely held on the concrete or polymer concrete side walls. Instead of the metal frame, which in particular consists of galvanized steel, stainless steel or cast iron, a plastic frame or concrete frame can also be used to hold the channel cover.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the water-permeable plate has a thickness between 2 and 8 cm, in particular between 3 and 5 cm. This thickness is well suited to effectively holding the filter substrate bed arranged on the water-permeable plate and, on the other hand, is small enough not to excessively increase the weight of the entire channel and to avoid unnecessary vertical extension of the channel space. On the other hand, this thickness of the water-permeable plate allows an unimpeded passage of water from the underside of the filter substrate to the watercourse located under the water-permeable plate, which has already been explained above with regard to the porosity or the kf value.

The water-permeable plate is preferably flat, which is easy to implement in terms of production technology and requires little space in the channel element. In another preferred embodiment, the water-permeable plate has a partially circular cylindrical design, the center of the circle extending centrally parallel to the longitudinal axis of the channel element and below the water-permeable plate. The water-permeable plate is thus bulged towards the top and can thus better absorb the load-bearing forces of the filter substrate.

In this case, the radius of the circle is preferably between 30 and 100 cm, in particular between 35 and 70 cm, which on the one hand improves the load-bearing capacity of the plate and on the one hand keeps the increase in height due to the cylindrical shape of the water-permeable plate within limits.

Preferably the filter substrate is a bed of filter substrate which is either loose or preferably in an insert, e.g. a permeable container or a fabric bag can be arranged on the water-permeable plate. The use of an insert has the advantage that the entire filter substrate can be exchanged for an exchange by lifting the insert.

The filter substrate preferably has a height between 5 and 35 cm, in particular between 10 and 20 cm. In this way, on the one hand, a good filter effect is achieved and, on the other hand, the height of the channel element is not increased unduly.

The invention relates in the same way to a channel formed from a plurality of channel elements placed one on top of the other, as described above. Seals can also be arranged between the end faces of the channel elements, which are preferably designed to be complementary to one another, which seal the U-profile-shaped channel bodies against one another at the front.

Folgende Ausdrücke werden synonym verwendet: Abstand der Seitenwände - lichte Innenweite des Rinnenelements; Rinnenabdeckung - Einlaufrost; wasserdurchlässige Platte - poröse Platte - Drainbetonplatte; Durchgangswert - kf-Wert - Durchlässigkeitsbeiwert;The following expressions are used synonymously: distance between the side walls - clear inside width of the channel element; Gutter cover - inlet grate; water-permeable slab - porous slab - drain concrete slab; Passage value - kf-value - permeability coefficient;

Fig. 1 shows a channel element 10 comprising a channel body 12 in the form of a U-profile with two vertical side walls 14, 16 and a horizontal channel bottom 18 connecting these, on which the watercourse 20 of the channel element 10 is located. On the upper sides of the two side legs 14, 16 a frame 22 is fastened, preferably with steel anchors, which receive a channel cover 24, in particular made of cast iron. The clear distance d between the two side legs 14, 16 decreases from top to bottom, which means that a preferably flat, water-permeable plate 26, which is preferably designed as a drain concrete plate here, through the narrowing inner cross-section (clear width d) with its lateral end faces 28 against the inner sides 31 of the side walls 14, 16. In this way, the flat drain concrete slab 26 is effectively held in a horizontal position. On the water-permeable plate 26, which preferably has a thickness between 2 and 8 cm, in particular between 3 and 5 cm, a filter substrate fill 30 is arranged, which can either be designed as a loose fill or can be arranged in an insert designed for this purpose is to lift the filter substrate bed as a whole from the channel element from the drain concrete slab 26, for example in order to clean or replace it. The concept of the channel element shown allows a cheap production of a filter channel with good filter properties and good stability. In the area where the drain concrete slab 26 rests on the side walls 14, 16, the total thickness 2 x of the two side walls is at least 20%, in particular at least 25% and preferably at least 30% and at most 50%, preferably at most 40% of the total width B des Channel element 10. The two side walls 14, 16 have anti-flooding devices 32 at the lower end of the channel element 10, which in addition to their function as anti-flooding devices, due to the associated increase in the thickness of the side walls 14, 16 on their outer sides, additionally those introduced by the drain concrete slab 26, 34 Intercept the expansion forces.

Fig. 2 shows one to Fig. 1 Almost identical embodiment with the difference that the drain concrete slab 34 is formed there in a partially circular cylindrical shape, as a result of which there is better load-bearing capacity with regard to the filter substrate fill 30. The filter substrate fill 30 also has in Fig. 1 preferably a height h between 10 and 30 cm, preferably between 15 and 25 cm. The radius r of the drain concrete slab 34 is preferably between 30 cm and 100 cm, preferably between 40 and 70 cm. In this way, the load-bearing capacity of the drain concrete slab is improved and, on the other hand, the increase in height of the slab associated with the bulge is limited.

It is obvious to a person skilled in the art that the invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments shown, but that it can be varied within the scope of the appended claims.
