Description
The invention relates to a horizontal ledger (= scaffolding ledger) for horizontally connecting two scaffolding posts of a scaffolding, e.g. B. a scaffolding, with a middle part and with two heads formed at one end of the middle part, the heads being provided for hooking into a hooking area of one of the scaffolding poles.
Scaffolding walers are essential components of scaffolding, such as those used in the construction sector as working platforms, for fastening formwork or as protective equipment. Scaffolding walers typically have a tube as the center section, with the heads being manufactured as cast or forged parts and attached to the ends of the tube.
However, cast or forged heads are heavy and relatively brittle in terms of their material properties. Next is a welding of the heads with the middle part z. T. complex or not possible. This leads to high production costs and, if it is difficult to handle, can sometimes result in the known scaffolding walers not being sufficiently safe against breakage.
It is therefore the object of the invention to provide a horizontal ledger that reduces the disadvantages of the prior art, with improved handling at lower production costs.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by a horizontal bar having the features specified in
The horizontal bar according to the invention for the horizontal connection of two scaffolding standards of a scaffolding has a central part extending in the direction of a longitudinal axis of the horizontal bar and two heads formed at one axial end of the central part, the heads being provided for hooking into a hooking area of one of the scaffolding standards. According to the invention, at least one of the two heads is designed as a deep-drawn part, and the central part and at least one of the heads are made in one piece from a bent sheet metal part. In particular, both heads, or just one of the two heads, can be designed as deep-drawn parts and the horizontal bar can be made in one piece from a bent sheet metal part. For this purpose, areas of the bent sheet metal part that are provided for forming the heads can be deep-drawn before the bent sheet metal part is bent into the shape of the horizontal bar. The bent sheet metal part is a one-piece sheet metal construction in the form of a z. B. sawn or cut (punched) sheet metal with several sub-areas for forming different areas z. B. a back surface, side surfaces or surfaces of the heads are provided and brought into the shape of the horizontal bar by bending.
By means of the horizontal bar according to the invention, it is possible to replace the forged or cast heads of conventional horizontal bars with a light design. The light design leads to a reduction in weight while at the same time increasing the resistance to breakage of the heads. The bent sheet metal part and the deep-drawn parts can be made of z. B. 4mm thick sheet steel, whereby increased resistance to breakage can be achieved. Deep-drawn parts are sheet metal parts formed by deep-drawing. Deep drawing is that Tension compression forming of sheet metal, e.g. B. a steel sheet, in a hollow body open on one side without intentional change in sheet thickness. The sheet metal is pressed into the hollow body with a punch, whereby the sheet metal adopts the surface shape of the hollow body acting as a die. Both the bent sheet metal part and the deep-drawn part are suitable for welding to one another or to other steel parts. The production of the horizontal bar according to the invention is therefore possible very inexpensively in comparison to the production methods used in conventional horizontal bars, with low material costs and low welding costs being incurred in particular. In addition, the horizontal bar can be provided with only small manufacturing tolerances.
In order to secure the horizontal bar according to the invention when used on scaffolding, the horizontal bar advantageously has a wedge in the area of the heads to secure the heads in their predetermined assembly position in/on one of the hooking areas of the scaffolding standards.
Furthermore, abutting edge regions of the bent sheet metal part can be welded to one another. In this way, the horizontal bar is produced as a bent sheet metal part and is connected to the edges of the bent sheet metal part by means of weld seams. This leads to a reduction in the number of components and reduced welding costs, with the welding being able to be carried out by laser welding.
A symmetrical embodiment of the horizontal bar according to the invention is achieved when both heads are designed as a deep-drawn part. The central part can be designed in particular as a tubular hollow profile, in particular with a rectangular or square cross section, ie as a so-called square tube. According to the invention, the central part can also be used, for. B. be designed as a U-profile, whereby further material savings can be realized.
According to the invention, the deep-drawn parts can each have a contact area for contacting one of the scaffolding posts and a counter-surface area for forming a counter-surface for the wedges, thereby increasing the stability of the horizontal bar according to the invention.
Also symmetrical is an embodiment of the horizontal bar according to the invention, in which the central part and both heads are produced together in one piece from a bent sheet metal part. The bent sheet metal part preferably has an essentially rectangular back surface that defines the distance between the scaffolding posts to be connected, with a side surface being provided on the longitudinal edges of the back surface, and the side surfaces having extensions at their end regions for forming the heads. These extensions can represent partial areas that can also be formed into heads by means of deep-drawing. In particular, the bent sheet metal part has two sub-surfaces for forming a respective counter surface for the wedges. In one embodiment, these partial surfaces can be formed on one of the edges of the central part forming the narrow sides of the back surface of the central part, or in another embodiment these partial surfaces can be formed on at least one of the edges of the side surfaces.
The horizontal ledger according to the invention is suitable for its use for bracing a scaffolding with two scaffolding standards, the horizontal ledger connecting the scaffolding standards to one another in a bracing manner in its predetermined assembly position. The scaffolding posts advantageously have hooking areas and one of the heads of the horizontal bar is hooked into one of the hooking areas in such a way that the scaffolding posts are horizontally connected to one another by means of the horizontal bar.
The hooking areas can be formed in particular by rosettes with hooking openings fastened to the scaffolding posts. If the horizontal ledger according to the invention has a wedge in the area of its heads to secure the heads in one of the hooking areas of the scaffolding posts, the heads can be secured in position by means of the wedges in the hooking areas of the rosette.
