The assembly of claim 6, wherein the protective element (7) is configured to be facing the at least one housing (12a, 12b) of the rotor (4) when the rotor (4) is in the first position, the at least one housing (12a, 12b) of the rotor (4) being free when said rotor (4) is in the second position.
  8. A locking device comprising a latch (2) and an assembly according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the latch (2) is connected to the lock (1) by the cardan (3).
  9. A method for assembling the cardan (3) on the lock (1) of an assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 7 comprising the following steps of:
    - Displacing the rotor (4) from the first position to the second position.
    - Inserting one end of the cardan (3) into the rotor (4) so that at least one housing (13) of the cardan (3) is aligned with the at least one housing (12a, 12b) of the rotor (4).
    - Inserting the rod (14) through the at least one housing (12a, 12b) of the rotor (4) and at least one housing (13) of the cardan (3).
    - Returning the rotor (4) to the first position.
