Description

The present invention relates to a ski boot with improved ease of use.

A ski boot is usually intended to be put on by a skier, and connected to a ski via a ski binding. Such a ski boot is very rigid, to enable the movements of the skier's legs and feet to be transmitted effectively to the ski.

Due to its shape and rigidity, a classic ski boot is generally difficult to put on.

The object of the invention is in particular to remedy this drawback, by providing a ski boot that is simple to put on, while retaining all the qualities necessary for a ski boot, in particular by allowing good tightening of the foot.

To this end, the invention particularly relates to a ski boot according to claim 1.

The invention will be better understood on reading the following description, given solely by way of example and made with reference to the appended figures, among which:
  • the figure 1 is a perspective view of a ski boot according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention;
  • the figure 2 is an exploded view of the shoe from the figure 1 ;
  • the picture 3 is a sectional view of a front part of the shoe of the figure 1 ;
  • the figure 4 is a perspective view of a liner fitted to the shoe of the figure 1 .

We have represented, on the figure 1 , a ski boot 10 according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention.

The ski boot comprises a shell 12, intended to receive the foot of a user. The shell 12 is rigid, in particular made of plastic material, and comprises a rigid sole 14 intended to be inserted into a ski binding device.

On définira pour la suite de la description un premier bord 24 délimitant l'ouverture supérieure 22.As is particularly visible on the figure 2 , the shell 12 has an upper opening 22 delimited forwards by the end 16, on the sides by the parts side 20, and towards the rear by the rear upright 18. For the remainder of the description, a first edge 24 delimiting the upper opening 22 will be defined.

The ski boot 10 also comprises a cover 26, connected to the end 16 of the shell 12 by means of a first pivot connection 28. Thus, the cover 26 is capable of tilting around the first pivot connection 28, between a closed position (shown on the figure 1 ), in which it partially covers the upper opening 22, and an open position in which it releases the upper opening 22.

Thus, in the open position, it is very easy to insert a foot into the shell 12, by engaging the foot point forward in the end 16, then by rocking the foot effortlessly from top to bottom.

The cover 26 comprises a front part 29 partly covering the end 16 in the closed position, and an upper part 30 partly covering the upper opening 22 in the closed position.

The front part 29 has a shape matching that of the end 16, so as to allow the tilting of the cover 26 on this end 16.

The upper part 30 is formed of two sections 30A, 30B, one of the sections covering the other. Thanks to these two sections 30A, 30B, the upper part 30 can be tightened effectively on the leg of the user.

In accordance with the embodiment described, the cover 26 comprises a locking lever 32, connected to the cover 26 by a second pivot link 34, and comprising a gripping part 32A on one side of the pivot link and a locking part 32B on the the other side of the second pivot link 34.

La deuxième liaison pivot 34 est par exemple agencée sur la partie supérieure 30 du capot 26.The second pivot link 34 is for example arranged on the upper part 30 of the cover 26.

These two lever parts are similar, so that all that is described for a lever part is valid for the other. The articulation between the lever parts makes it possible to deform the lever 32 when tightening the ski boot 10.

Thus, each lever part carries part of the second pivot link 34, arranged on a respective side 30A, 30B.

The locking lever 32 is movable around the second pivot connection 34 between a locking position, in which each hook 36 cooperates with a complementary locking element 38 carried by the shell 12, and a locking position. unlocking, in which each hook 36 is released from the corresponding locking element 38.

It should be noted that the lever 32, thus held by the user, can then be used to tilt the cover 26 around the first pivot link 28 towards its open position.

Avantageusement, la coque 12 comporte des boucles de fixation et de serrage 40, de type classique, portées par la coque 12, notamment par ses parties latérales 20, et surmontant la partie supérieure 30 du capot 26.Advantageously, the shell 12 comprises fastening and clamping loops 40, of the conventional type, carried by the shell 12, in particular by its lateral parts 20, and surmounting the upper part 30 of the cover 26.

As a variant, the ski boot 10 does not include a lever 32. In this case, the fixing and tightening loops 40 also have a function of locking the hood 26.

In this variant, the cover 26 optionally comprises a grip tab, preferably fixed to the upper part 30, thanks to which the user can easily tilt the cover 26 towards its open position.

Avantageusement, la chaussure de ski 10 selon l'invention comporte des moyens d'étanchéité entre la coque 12 et le capot 26, pour empêcher le passage d'eau ou de neige vers l'intérieur de la chaussure de ski 10.Advantageously, the ski boot 10 according to the invention comprises sealing means between the shell 12 and the cover 26, to prevent the passage of water or snow towards the inside of the ski boot 10.

The sealing means comprise a sealing rib 41 extending between the end 16 and the cover 26, substantially over the entire width of the cover 26, to prevent the passage of water or snow between the end 16 and the cover. 26 from the front of the shoe. In the example described, the sealing rib is provided on the end 16, but it could alternatively be provided under the cover 26.

Advantageously, the cover 26 being delimited by a second edge 43, this second edge 43 covers the first edge 24 in the closed position of the cover 26, as shown in the picture 3 , which is a sectional view of the figure 2 , cut at the level of a fastening and tightening loop 40. Preferably, the first 24 and second 43 edges have complementary nesting shapes, so that one of the first 24 and second 43 edges is nested in the another, thus contributing to the correct positioning of the cover 26 with respect to the shell 12, and to a good seal.

Optionally, a seal is arranged between the first 24 and second 43 edges, thus improving the seal.

The ski boot 10 according to the invention also comprises an upper upper part 42, covering the rear upright 18 of the shell 12. The upper upper part 42 is intended to grip the user's ankle.

The upper stem part 42 comprises two front side flaps 42A, 42B intended to cover the upper part 30 of the cover 26 in the closed position. These side flaps 42A, 42B are provided with clamping and fixing elements 44 of the conventional type, for fixing these two side flaps 42A, 42B one on the other.

For a quality of comfort and optimum efficiency, the upper part of the rod 42 is connected to the rear upright 18 of the shell 12 by a third pivot connection 46. The shell 12 then comprises an adjustable stop 48 cooperating with the upper part of the rod 42 to adjust an inclination of this upper rod part 42 relative to the rear upright 18.

Ce chausson amovible 50 est représenté plus en détail sur la figure 4.The ski boot 10 according to the invention also comprises a removable liner 50 intended to be inserted into the shell 12. This removable liner 50 is shown in more detail on the figure 4 .

Le chausson amovible 50 est destiné à être chaussé par l'utilisateur préalablement à l'insertion du pied dans la chaussure de ski 10.The removable liner 50 is intended to be put on by the user prior to inserting the foot into the ski boot 10.

Advantageously, the removable liner 50 includes a walking sole 52 and a waterproof coating 54 covering at least part of the upper of the removable liner 50. Thus, the removable liner 50 can be used for driving and/or for walking in the snow, this which facilitates access to the ski slopes for the user, who does not need to walk with his ski boots to access them.

The outsole 52 is advantageously reinforced, and has anti-slip shapes.

The removable liner 50 also has a reinforced heel, in order to resist the maneuver of inserting the removable liner 50 into the shell 12.

The waterproof coating 54 extends for example over part of the removable liner 50, for example up to above the ankles, or as a variant extends over the entirety of the removable liner.

Optionally, the waterproof covering 54 is removable, in which case the waterproof covering 54 can be slipped over the liner 50, and held thereon by suitable holding means, for example by a waterproof zipper.

The inside of the removable liner 50 is similar to that of a conventional inner ski boot liner.

This removable liner 50 comprises two folding flaps one over the other 50A, 50B, and a central tongue 50C between the folding flaps 50A, 50B. A clamping element 56 is provided for clamping one of the folding flaps on the other. This clamping element 56 is for example formed by a strap provided with a Velcro ® fastening part.

It will be noted that the invention is not limited to the embodiment described above, but could have various additional variants covered by the appended claims.
