Description

The present invention relates to a drawer extension slide comprising:
  • at least two guide rails which are mounted so that they can be moved relative to one another,
  • at least one carriage with load-transferring rolling elements, the carriage being movably mounted between the at least two guide rails, the guide rails assuming a predefined relative position to one another when the at least one carriage moves, if there is no misalignment of the guide rails to one another,
  • a compensation device for compensating for a misalignment of the guide rails to one another that deviates from the predefined relative position, the compensation device having an actuating device which can be actuated by one of the guide rails and which compensates for the misalignment when actuated.

The invention also relates to a drawer with at least one drawer extension guide of the type to be described.

Both rail misalignments and carriage misalignments, which can lead to the drawer standing open during normal use, are referred to as misalignments in drawer extension guides. A rail misalignment occurs, for example, when the drawer rail deviates from synchronous running relative to the displaceable central rail, as a result of which the relative position of the rails to one another is incorrect. On the other hand, a carriage error is a misalignment of the carriage which builds up via an opening and closing movement and which is determined by the difference between the two and the correct starting position. A carriage error can build up in particular due to slippage or due to elasticity in the roller or running system during the course of movement. After a certain number of movements, the carriage can finally move so far away from its target position that it hits an end stop in the rail system before the drawer even opens complete end position reached relative to the furniture body. Drawer extension guides are also often equipped with a retraction device and with a damper, which dampens the retraction path of the drawer over the last closing area up to the fully closed position. However, these dampers reduce the closing dynamics of the drawer to such an extent that a misalignment that occurs during the movement of the drawer can no longer be compensated for due to a lack of kinetic energy. With every additional movement in which the drawer is not fully opened, the drawer remains in an open position due to the misalignment, which is visually disruptive and also brings with it the risk of collisions with people or objects.

In the EP 1 374 734 A1 shows a drawer pull-out guide with a compensation device for compensating for a synchronization error in the guide rails. Here, a compensation lever with two lever arms is mounted on the middle rail, with a first lever arm interacting with the drawer rail and a second lever arm with the body rail at the end of the closing movement. The compensation device is designed as a discontinuous synchronization, but rather as a so-called pseudo-synchronization or self-healing of a deep gap that arises between the rear of the drawer front panel and the front of the furniture body. The compensation device is designed in such a way that the said depth gap is corrected to a specific value when the drawer is closed. The disadvantage of this is that the compensation lever interacts with the drawer rail and with the cabinet rail with each closing movement, whereby in addition to unpleasant noises the friction also increases and the drawer has to be moved into the full end position with increased effort. Due to the friction that occurs, the spring force of the retraction device must also be dimensioned higher so that the drawer can be reliably pulled into the closed end position DE 20 2004 007 227 U1 also discloses a drawer extension slide with a compensation device having the features of the preamble of claim 1.

The object of the present invention is to provide a drawer extension guide of the type mentioned at the beginning while avoiding the disadvantages discussed above.

According to the invention, this is achieved by the features of claim 1. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent subclaims.

According to the invention it is therefore provided that a switching device is provided which switches the actuating device of the compensation device out of engagement with the guide rail when the predefined relative position of the guide rails is present.

In other words, the actuation device of the compensation device can only be actuated by a movement of a guide rail if the guide rails are actually incorrectly positioned. If, on the other hand, there is no misalignment, the guide rails can be moved relative to one another without being impaired by the compensation device.

It can be provided that the actuating device of the compensation device has an actuating element movably mounted on a guide rail, which can be actuated to compensate for the misalignment by a stop arranged or formed on another guide rail and wherein the actuating element is disengaged from the stop when the predefined relative position is present .

The stop for actuating the actuating element can be arranged on a front end region of a guide rail. It can be provided that the stop protrudes transversely from the guide rail and preferably protrudes downward from a guide rail in the assembled position.

The switching device can have a movably mounted switching element which is connected in a movement-coupled manner to the actuating element, for example via at least one hinge axis. The switching element can have a first switching position and at least one second switching position, the actuating element being in the first switching position of the switching element - if the guide rails are incorrectly positioned relative to one another - in a first position in which the actuating element can be releasably coupled to the stop, and where the Actuating element in the second switching position of the switching element - in the presence of the predefined relative position of the guide rails to each other - is in a second position in which the actuating element is disengaged from the stop.

To control a movement of the switching element, a blocking means can be provided which is arranged or formed on one of the guide rails and which blocks a movement of the switching element - if the guide rails are incorrectly positioned relative to one another - starting from the first switching position into the second switching position. It can be provided that the switching element in the first switching position - if the guide rails are incorrectly positioned relative to each other - rests on the locking means, the actuating device of the compensation device being actuatable by a guide rail. In the second switching position of the switching element - when the guide rails are in the predefined relative position to each other - the switching element can be in a free position so that the actuating device of the compensation device is out of engagement with the guide rail and consequently cannot be actuated by it.

According to one exemplary embodiment, it can be provided that the compensation for the misalignment occurs during the opening movement of the drawer extension guide. This has the advantage that a manual force has to be exerted on the drawer during the opening movement of a guide rail and that any correction of the misalignment is practically imperceptible to a user.

Fig. 1 shows a piece of furniture 1 with a cabinet-shaped furniture body 2, with drawers 3 being mounted so as to be movable relative to the furniture body 2 via drawer extension guides 4. The drawers 3 each have a front panel 5, a drawer bottom 6, side walls 7 and a rear wall 8. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the drawer pull-out guides 4 each comprise a first guide rail 9, which is to be fastened to the furniture body 2 via fastening sections 12a, 12b, a third guide rail 11 which is mounted displaceably relative to the first guide rail 9 and which is to be connected to the drawer 3, and a second guide rail 10, which is mounted so as to be able to move between the first guide rail 9 and the third guide rail 11 to enable the drawer 3 to be fully extended. However, it is also possible for the drawer extension guide 4 to have only two guide rails 9, 10 which can be displaced relative to one another.

Fig. 2 shows a perspective view of a drawer pull-out guide 4 with the first guide rail 9 to be fastened to the furniture body 2 and the third guide rail 11 to be fastened to the drawer 3, between which the second guide rail 10 is slidably mounted. The movement of a carriage 15, which is slidably mounted between the guide rails 9, 10, 11, can be controlled by a synchronization device 13. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the synchronization device 13 has a gear wheel 14 rotatably mounted on the second guide rail 10, which on the one hand is connected to the first carriage 15, which is movably mounted between the first guide rail 9 and the second guide rail 10, and on the other hand with a (not shown here ) second carriage 28 ( Figure 4a ), the one between the second Guide rail 10 and the third guide rail 11 is movably mounted, interacts via teeth 15a, 28a of the first and second carriages 15, 28. At the front end of the third guide rail 11, a functional unit 18 with an end stop 20 is provided which, in the closed position of the drawer extension guide 4, strikes a counter stop 21 of the first guide rail 9 to limit an insertion movement of the third guide rail 11.

In addition, a compensation device 22 is provided, by means of which a misalignment of the guide rails 9, 10, 11 with respect to one another that deviates from a predefined relative position can be compensated. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the compensation device 22 comprises a stop 19 which protrudes transversely downward from the third guide rail 11 and an actuating device 17 arranged on the second guide rail 10, which can be actuated by the stop 19 if the guide rails 9, 10, 11 are incorrectly positioned.

Fig. 3a shows the pull-out drawer slide 4 with the first, second and third guide rails 9, 10, 11 in the closed position in a perspective view.

Figure 3b shows the in Fig. 3a circled area in an enlarged view. At the front end of the second guide rail 10, a bearing part 16 with the actuating device 17 is arranged, which can be actuated by the stop 19 arranged on the third guide rail 11 if the guide rails 9, 10, 11 are incorrectly positioned.

Figure 3c shows a side view of the drawer extension slide 4, Fig. 3d shows the in Figure 3c framed front area in an enlarged view. The actuating device 17 has a movably, preferably pivotably, mounted actuating element 17a, which can be releasably coupled to the stop 19 in the event of an incorrect position. The actuating element 17a can for example have an arcuate circumferential surface along which the stop 19 can be moved at least in sections. By means of a switching device 27, the actuating device 17 is out of engagement with the third when the (correct) predefined relative position of the guide rails 9, 10, 11 is present Guide rail 11, preferably the stop 19, switchable. The switching device 27 has a movable switching element 27a, preferably mounted pivotably about an axis 24, which is connected to the actuating element 17a in a movement-coupled manner. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the switching element 27a and the actuating element 17a are connected to one another in a pivotable manner via at least one moving hinge axis 25. The actuating element 17a and the switching element 27a are prestressed relative to one another by an energy storage device 26 in such a way that the actuation element 17a and the switching element 27a are pushed apart by the force of the energy storage mechanism 26 about the hinge axis 25. The switching element 27a is mounted pivotably about the axis 24 and has a projection 27b which, in the closed position of the second guide rail 10, rests against a locking means 23, preferably a web, of the first guide rail 9. The locking means 23 prevents the switching element 27a from moving from the first switching position into the second switching position, if the guide rails 9, 10, 11 are incorrectly positioned relative to one another. In the Figures 3a-3d the guide rails 9, 10, 11 assume a correct, predefined position relative to one another.

Fig. 4a zeigt die Schubladenausziehführung 4 in einem Querschnitt. Figure 4a shows the drawer extension guide 4 in a cross section. Between the first guide rail 9 and the second guide rail 10 is a first carriage 15 with first rolling elements 36 ( Figure 7a ) while a second carriage 28 with second rolling elements 37 is slidably disposed between the second guide rail 10 and the third guide rail 11. The sequence of movements of the two carriages 15, 28 relative to one another can be controlled by a synchronization device 13. The synchronization device 13 includes a gear 14 rotatably mounted on the second guide rail 10, which meshes with a first toothing 15a of the (lower) first carriage 15 and with a second toothing 28a of the (upper) second carriage 28. In Figure 4a the third guide rail 11 is in a slightly open position.

Figure 4b shows the in Figure 4a framed, front area of the drawer extension guide 4 in an enlarged view from which the compensation device 22 emerges in more detail. In the shown Figures 4a-4c the guide rails 9, 10, 11 are in a predefined, correct position relative to one another. If now the third guide rail 11 starting from the in Fig. 3d When the closed position shown is moved in the pull-out direction 29, the switching element 27a comes into a free position 30 so that the switching element 27a together with the actuating element 17a is tilted clockwise around the axis 24 such that the stop 19 arranged on the third guide rail 11 passes through without hindrance the actuating device 17 can be moved further in the direction of the open position. The clearance 30 can either be designed as a recess in the first guide rail 9, or - as shown in the figure - be formed by a free space located in front of the first guide rail 9 in the assembly position, so that the projection 27b of the switching element 27a virtually travels into the void. When the third guide rail 11 moves against the pull-out direction 29, it can be moved back into the closed position without hindrance by the actuating device 17, the actuating element 17a being overridden by the stop 19, if necessary, against the force of the energy accumulator 26.

Figure 5a shows the drawer pull-out guide 4 in a perspective view, the guide rails 9, 10, 11 - for example due to a slip occurring between the carriages 15, 28 and the guide rails 9, 10, 11 - assume a misalignment that deviates from the predefined relative position. This can, for example, result in the second guide rail 10 being positioned too far back relative to the first guide rail 9, that is to say that the first and second guide rails 9, 10 are positioned over a contact point 31 ( Figure 5b ) are in contact with each other and there is therefore a malposition to be corrected.

Figure 5b shows the in Figure 5a circled area in an enlarged view. Figure 5c shows a side view of the drawer extension slide 4, while in Fig. 5d the in Figure 5c framed front area of the drawer extension guide 4 is shown enlarged. In the fully closed position, the projection 27b of the switching element 27a rests on the locking means 23 of the first guide rail 9. The foremost area of the web of the first guide rail 9 can run obliquely downwards towards the front, whereby the friction is reduced and the tilting behavior of the switching element 27a is improved.

Figures 6a-6d show a chronological sequence of the opening movement of the third guide rail 11 in the pull-out direction 29. Starting from FIG Fig. 5d , in which one If the second guide rail 10 is incorrectly positioned relative to the first guide rail 9, the actuating element 17a of the actuating device 17 is contacted by the stop 19 of the third guide rail 11 ( Figure 6a ). The projection 27b of the switching element 27a rests on the locking means 23 of the first guide rail 9, the locking means 23 preventing the switching element 27a from moving into a second, deactivated switching position of the switching element 27a, so the switching element 27a cannot be tilted about the axis 24 . The third guide rail 11 is thus coupled to the second guide rail 10 via the stop 19 and via the actuating element 17a. Since the third guide rail 11 extends through the synchronization device 13 ( Fig. 2 ) moves at a higher, preferably approximately twice, speed than the second guide rail 10, the second guide rail 10 is briefly coupled to the higher speed of the third guide rail 11. The second guide rail 10 and the third guide rail 11 can therefore be moved at the same speed relative to the first guide rail 9 when compensating for a misalignment, the second guide rail 10 being dragged over the rolling elements 36 of the first carriage 15 ( Figures 6b, 6c ). After the misalignment has been corrected, the projection 27b of the switching element 27a can move back out over the front end of the first guide rail 9, so that the switching element 27a is tilted about the axis 24 and the coupling between the actuating element 17a and the stop 19 of the third guide rail 11 is thereby released becomes. The second guide rail 10 thus has in Fig. 6d reaches its target position relative to the first guide rail 9 again.

Fig. 7a zeigt die Schubladenausziehführung 4 in einer Explosionsdarstellung. Figure 7a shows the pull-out drawer slide 4 in an exploded view. The first guide rail 9 is to be fastened to a furniture body 2 and the third guide rail 11 is to be fastened to the drawer 3, the second guide rail 10 being slidably mounted between the first and third guide rails 9 and 11. Between the first and second guide rails 9, 11, a first carriage 15 with a plurality of rolling elements 36 spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction and a further carriage 38 with rolling elements 38a, separate therefrom, are slidably mounted. Between the second and third guide rails 10, 11, a second carriage 28 with a plurality of rolling elements 37 spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction is slidably mounted. By a gear 14 rotatably mounted on the second guide rail 10, which meshes with the teeth 15a, 28a of the first and second carriages 15, 28, the movements of the carriages 15, 28 relative to one another can be controlled. At the front end area of the second guide rail 10, the bearing part 16 is to be fastened with the actuating device 17 and with the switching device 27. The functional unit 18 with the end stop 20 and the stop 19 is arranged on the front end region of the third guide rail 11. By means of a movable driver 34 which is pretensioned by a spring device 32, the third guide rail 11 can be drawn into the closed end position towards the end of the closing movement. This spring-assisted pull-in movement can be braked into the closed end position by a damping device 33, preferably with a piston-cylinder unit. The spring device 32 and the damping device 33 are fastened to the third guide rail 11 via a holder 35.

Figure 7b shows the actuating device 17 arranged on the bearing part 16 and the switching device 27 in an exploded view. The actuating element 17a and the switching element 27a can be connected to one another via a hinge axis 25. The actuating element 17a and the switching element 27a are preloaded relative to one another by an energy store 26, for example in the form of a leg spring. In this way, the switching element 27a can be pressed against the locking means 23 by the force of the energy accumulator 26, which results in a defined switching behavior of the switching element 27a between the two switching positions. On the other hand, during the insertion movement of the third guide rail 11, the actuating element 17a can be driven over against the force of the energy accumulator 26, so that the third guide rail 11 can be moved into the closed position without significant hindrance.

In contrast to the figures shown, the actuating device 17 can be arranged not only on the second guide rail 10, but also on the other guide rails 9, 11 and at other positions along their longitudinal direction. For example, it is possible to arrange the actuating device 17 to correct a misalignment of the third guide rail 11 relative to the second guide rail 10 on the third guide rail 11 and the stop 19 to actuate the actuating device 17 on the second guide rail 10.
