- An Installation method (S500) for installing a device (400) for protection, preferably, against the sun, wind and/or rain, the protection device (400) comprising at least one hinged arm (300) configured to have a plurality of positions between a folded position and a deployed position, and a pulling member (200) configured to pull said at least one hinged arm (300) between said deployed position and said folded position; the protection device (400) comprising a support (100) configured to receive the pulling member (200) and said at least one hinged arm (300); the installation method (S500) comprising steps:- fastening the support (S510) to a wall (900) and/or assembling said pulling member (200) to the support (100);- providing (S520) said at least one hinged arm (300);- fastening said at least one hinged arm (S525) to the pulling member (200); and,- pulling (S530) said at least one hinged arm (300) by said pulling member (200), said pulling member (200) comprising a winding shaft (250) configured to be rotated and a protection member (220) configured to be attached or attach said at least one hinged arm (300) and pull said at least one hinged arm (300) during the pulling step (S530), said protection member (220) being configured to winding around and/or unwinding said winding shaft (250) in said pulling member (200) during the pulling step (S530), said at least one hinged arm (300) being in said folded position;- fastening said at least one hinged arm (300) to the pulling member (200) and/or to the support (100) after the pulling step (S530) of said at least one hinged arm (300) by said pulling member (200).
- The installation method (S500) according to claim 1, wherein, during the pulling step (S530), said at least one hinged arm (300) is pulled with an angle formed by the plumbness of the support (100) and/or of the hinged arm (300) and comprised between 0° and 40°, in particular between 0° and 20° and preferably between 0° and 10°.
- The installation method (S500) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the pulling (S530) of said at least one hinged arm (300) by said pulling member (200) is carried out manually or automatically, during the pulling step (S530).
