Definitions
- the invention is concerned in particular with external roller blinds, but can equally well be used advantageously for external blinds with horizontal slats or other comparable shading systems in the external area (so-called external shading) and shading systems in the internal area (so-called internal shading).
- the invention can be used particularly for so-called blinds (or also horizontal blinds), which are usually retrofitted to shade an architectural opening, e.g. a window or a (patio) door.
- blinds or also horizontal blinds
- Front blinds are usually installed on existing buildings retrospectively or by replacing old windows or patio doors with new windows or doors in front of the window or door frame.
- a housing of the front roller blind the so-called roller blind box, is placed in front of the upper crossbar of the window or door frame complained.
- guide rails are mounted on the side of the glazing or in front of the window frame next to the glazing.
- the motor for driving the winding shaft is usually arranged in the winding shaft itself. If the motor falls or needs maintenance, the winding shaft must be removed from the roller blind box. For this purpose, the roller blind box is opened and the winding shaft with the curtain, also called roller blind, is removed. If necessary, the side guide rails must also be removed for this purpose.
- the winding shaft Since the inner clear distance between the two side guide rails must be smaller than the width of the curtain, because otherwise the curtain cannot be guided in the guide rails, the winding shaft must also be correspondingly long. It is therefore difficult to remove the winding shaft, particularly in a situation where the curtain is almost completely or even completely wound (i.e. opened). Either the winding shaft must be removed towards the front, i.e. away from the window, or at least the guide rails must be removed. In both cases, the guide rails and often also the roller blind box cannot be plastered in, since this also makes the removal of the winding shaft at least more difficult, if not impossible.
- the invention is based on the problem of creating a shading system in which the winding shaft can be easily removed even with plastered guide rails and roller blind boxes.
- the shading system according to the invention is characterized in that the holding element can be pulled out of the associated guide in the closing direction of the curtain.
- the winding shaft can therefore be pulled out of the housing (the roller blind box) together with one or both of the holding elements in the closing direction of the curtain, ie downwards in the usual installation situation.
- plaster on the housing (roller blind box) and the guide rails do not interfere, so that they can be plastered in the structure according to the invention.
- the shading system according to the invention is dismantled in such a way that a revision cover is first removed from the housing.
- the holding element there there is then detached from the guide on at least one side and pulled out of the guide in the closing direction of the curtain.
- the winding shaft is tilted in the curtain plane, so that the winding shaft is released between the inner edges of the plaster. Now it can be pulled out of the architectural opening. Possibly.
- one or both of the guide rails are removed before or after removing the inspection cover from the housing.
- the winding shaft together with the curtain can be easily removed from the housing even when the housing and guide rails are plastered in, even if the curtain is completely or almost completely wound up.
- the holding element is releasably locked to the guide by a clamping screw.
- a clip or would be Snap connection possible, as this with the shading system according to the above WO 2011/150412 A1 is provided.
- this would have the disadvantage that something unintentionally reaches behind a grip tab or the like to open the clip or snap connection and unintentionally detaches the holding element from the guide. This can be avoided by locking with a clamping screw.
- the clamping screw can also be provided in addition to the clip or snap connection.
- both holding elements can preferably be pulled out of the guide.
- the winding shaft can then first be taken out of the housing without being tilted down and only then tilted in order to remove it from the architectural opening.
- the Fig. 1 and 2nd show a guide 20 with holding element 21 and a winding shaft 22 for a shading system.
- the shading system is specifically an external roller blind for an architectural opening, such as a window or a (patio) door.
- the guide 20 has a rear wall 23 and a U-shaped circumferential side wall 24.
- the side wall 24 is provided with recesses 25 which, for example can serve to lead cables through.
- an open side of the U-shaped peripheral side wall 24 is referred to below as the lower side.
- This lower side 23 tabs 26 are provided on the rear wall, which cooperate with a guide rail to be described.
- a guide recess 27 is provided in the rear wall 23 of the guide 20.
- Guide tabs 28 protrude on the inside of the guide 20 into the guide recess and thus form a guide groove 29.
- the holding element 21 also has a rear wall 30 and a grip tab 31 projecting perpendicularly on the lower side of the rear wall 30.
- teeth 32 protrude from the rear wall 30, which interact with complementary teeth 33 on an end face of the winding shaft 22 and thus form a torque support for a winding motor 34, which will be explained in more detail below.
- a console box 35 is provided on the holding element adjacent to the grip tab 31, which e.g. can serve to accommodate control electronics.
- a guide web 36 is provided in a U-shaped circumference, which corresponds to the guide groove 29 of the guide 20.
- the retaining element 21 can thus be pushed into and out of the guide recess 27 of the guide 20 from below, the guide web 36 sliding in the guide groove 29.
- the holding element 21 Seen in the axial direction of the winding shaft 22, the holding element 21 is held by means of its guide web 36 and the guide tabs 28.
- Clamping screws 37 in the form of grub screws serve to lock the holding element 21 on the guide 20 when the holding element 21 is inserted into the guide 20 or its guide recess 27.
- Corresponding bores 38 are provided in the rear wall 30 of the holding element 21 for this purpose.
- the clamping screws 37 and correspondingly the bores 38 can be provided with a thread or the clamping screws 37 can be designed as self-tapping screws.
- the guide 20 Inwards, that is to say towards the winding shaft 22, the guide 20 is provided with a deflector plate 39 which can be fastened to the guide 20 by means of screws 40 is.
- the deflector plate 39 has a recess 41 through which the winding shaft 22 extends and also the console case 35 engages.
- An upper side of the console box 35 forms in the fully assembled state ( Fig. 2 ) a flat surface with the upper surface of the deflector plate 39 facing inwards towards the winding shaft 22, so that there are no protruding edges behind which something could get caught.
- Fig. 3 shows a wall section with a top left corner of a window as an example of an architectural opening.
- the window has a window frame 42 and a glass surface 43.
- the window frame 42 has a stick frame 42a made of wood or plastic and a frame 42b made of aluminum (wood-aluminum window or plastic-aluminum window).
- a roller blind box 44 is provided as a housing for a front blind. The roller blind box 44 is thus placed outside the window frame 42 ( Fig. 4 ).
- the roller blind box 44 is formed as a U-shaped box which is open at the bottom and whose open underside is closed by a revision cover 45.
- the guide 20 forms a side wall of the roller blind box 44 and accordingly closes it on its left end face.
- the guide can also be used on a separate end wall of the roller blind box 44, e.g. be screwed on or be an integral part of the same.
- the holding element 21 is inserted in the manner described above, locked there and carries the winding shaft 22.
- a guide rail 46 is provided below the guide 20 and the holding element 21, which the curtain of the shading system during opening - And closing movement leads and holds the curtain, if necessary, in a direction transverse to the curtain plane when it is completely or partially closed.
- Fig. 4 shows the shading system described so far in vertical section in the fully assembled.
- the curtain 47 which is completely wound onto the winding shaft 22 and thus fully opened, can also be clearly seen here.
- a guide 48 of the guide rail 46 for the curtain 47 can be seen, which is in a groove 46a of the guide rail 46 is inserted.
- the roller blind box is placed in a masonry 49 of the building and from the outside in front of the window frame 42.
- the masonry 49 as well as the roller blind box 44 and the guide rail 46 are provided with a plaster 50 from the outside.
- a base rail 51 is arranged in the window reveal in the masonry and fastened in a suitable manner, to which the guide rail 46 is screwed (screws 52).
- the guide rail 46 can also be connected only to the base rail 51 by means of a plug-in or clip / latch connection, as is the subject of the post-published publication DE 10 2018 106055 A (also registered as a European patent application with the application number 19 162 588.8 ) is.
- the upper right corner of the window is preferably, but not necessarily, configured analogously with a holding element detachably held on a guide. This is assumed below.
- Fig. 6 shows the winding shaft 22 with curtain 47 still in the fully installed state, which can also be referred to as the working position.
- the guide rails 47 on both sides of the window are first unscrewed from the base rail 51 and removed ( Fig. 6 ).
- the outer edges of the inspection cover 45 are also free and the inspection cover 45 can be loosened from the blind box 44 (screws 53) and removed downwards. If the geometric conditions allow it, for example because the inspection cover 45 has a recess corresponding to the guide rail 47.
- Fig. 11 shows the shading system in a more detailed exploded view with the guide 20, the holding element 21 and the curtain 47 (partially) wound on the winding shaft 22. Furthermore, the winding motor 34 is shown pulled out of the winding shaft 22.
- the teeth 32 on the holding element 21 and the teeth 33 assigned to the winding motor 34 can also be seen.
- the teeth 33 of the winding motor 34 are arranged on an end face of the winding motor 34.
- the winding motor 34 also has a cylindrical housing 54 in the present case. At its end facing the teeth 33, the housing 54 is provided with teeth 55 projecting radially outward. At its other end, the housing 54 has polygonal, specifically octagonal, and tangentially arranged support surfaces 56. These teeth 55 and the support surfaces 56 cooperate with complementary structures on the inside 57 of the winding shaft 22 and thus represent complementary torque transmission means. They provide a rotationally fixed connection between the housing 54 and the winding shaft 22.
- the teeth 55 or the support surfaces 56 can also be provided at both ends.
- the housing 54 as a whole, that is to say over its entire length, or a part of its length can also be provided with a suitable torque transmission means, for example with teeth or polygonal.
- the torque transmission means or a short region along the length of the housing 54 are provided at only one end.
- Fig. 12 shows the guide 20 and the retaining strip 51. Furthermore, shows Fig. 12 a horizontal blind 58 and a modified guide rail 59 and a blind guide 60, which may be identical to the roller shutter guide 46, which would reduce inventory.
- pins 61 are guided on the end faces of the slats 62 of the horizontal blind 58 in a manner known per se.
- Brackets 63 of the horizontal blind 58 are attached in a suitable manner in the roller shutter box 44, for example screwed.
- the shading system according to the invention can therefore be converted in a very simple manner from a roller blind into a horizontal blind or another suitable type of shading system and vice versa.
- the guide rails 46, 59 only have to be removed from the shade box 44, a type of shading system and the actual shading system and replaced by the respective other type. This not only enables the customer to change if the one type should no longer please, but also reduces the inventory at the manufacturer and manufacturer due to the large number of common parts.

Description
The invention relates to a shading system for an architectural opening, such as a window or a door, comprising: a housing; a curtain; a winding shaft, by means of which the curtain can be moved between an open position and a closed position; at least one holding element detachably held on a guide in the housing, by means of which the winding shaft is mounted on its end faces in the housing; guide rails running in the opening and closing direction of the curtain, in which at least one front edge of the curtain, as seen in the closing direction, is guided. Furthermore, the invention relates to a building with such a shading system and a method for dismantling such a shading system from an architectural opening.
The invention is concerned in particular with external roller blinds, but can equally well be used advantageously for external blinds with horizontal slats or other comparable shading systems in the external area (so-called external shading) and shading systems in the internal area (so-called internal shading). Specifically, the invention can be used particularly for so-called blinds (or also horizontal blinds), which are usually retrofitted to shade an architectural opening, e.g. a window or a (patio) door. The background of the invention and its advantages are therefore explained below using the example of a front blind, although the invention, as explained, can also be used advantageously in other ways.
Front blinds are usually installed on existing buildings retrospectively or by replacing old windows or patio doors with new windows or doors in front of the window or door frame. For this purpose, a housing of the front roller blind, the so-called roller blind box, is placed in front of the upper crossbar of the window or door frame complained. Furthermore, guide rails are mounted on the side of the glazing or in front of the window frame next to the glazing.
Recently, shading systems, including the front blinds, have been operated electrically and even integrated into so-called smart home solutions. The motor for driving the winding shaft is usually arranged in the winding shaft itself. If the motor falls or needs maintenance, the winding shaft must be removed from the roller blind box. For this purpose, the roller blind box is opened and the winding shaft with the curtain, also called roller blind, is removed. If necessary, the side guide rails must also be removed for this purpose.
Since the inner clear distance between the two side guide rails must be smaller than the width of the curtain, because otherwise the curtain cannot be guided in the guide rails, the winding shaft must also be correspondingly long.
Proceeding from this, the invention is based on the problem of creating a shading system in which the winding shaft can be easily removed even with plastered guide rails and roller blind boxes.
To solve the problem on which the invention is based, the shading system according to the invention is characterized in that the holding element can be pulled out of the associated guide in the closing direction of the curtain.
The winding shaft can therefore be pulled out of the housing (the roller blind box) together with one or both of the holding elements in the closing direction of the curtain, ie downwards in the usual installation situation. As a result, plaster on the housing (roller blind box) and the guide rails do not interfere, so that they can be plastered in the structure according to the invention. According to the method according to the invention, the shading system according to the invention is dismantled in such a way that a revision cover is first removed from the housing. The holding element there is then detached from the guide on at least one side and pulled out of the guide in the closing direction of the curtain. Simultaneously or subsequently, the winding shaft is tilted in the curtain plane, so that the winding shaft is released between the inner edges of the plaster. Now it can be pulled out of the architectural opening. Possibly. Depending on the geometric conditions, one or both of the guide rails are removed before or after removing the inspection cover from the housing.
In this way, the winding shaft together with the curtain can be easily removed from the housing even when the housing and guide rails are plastered in, even if the curtain is completely or almost completely wound up.
It when the guide is covered by a deflector is particularly advantageous. It is therefore provided with a flat surface on the inside (towards the curtain). This prevents edges on the curtain, e.g. by individual slats, hook behind the edges on the guide. A malfunction of the shading system or damage is avoided.
As already stated above, it is sufficient according to the invention if one of the holding elements is detachably held in a guide and can be pulled out of it. However, both holding elements can preferably be pulled out of the guide. The winding shaft can then first be taken out of the housing without being tilted down and only then tilted in order to remove it from the architectural opening.

The holding
On the
In the present case, the
In the
Only the upper left corner of the window is shown here. The upper right corner of the window is preferably, but not necessarily, configured analogously with a holding element detachably held on a guide. This is assumed below.
Maintenance and repair work on the winding

Alternatively, the
The shading system according to the invention can therefore be converted in a very simple manner from a roller blind into a horizontal blind or another suitable type of shading system and vice versa. For this purpose, the guide rails 46, 59 only have to be removed from the
