- FIG. 1 shows a schematic representation of a washing machine 100 with a device 105 for operating the washing machine 100 according to an embodiment.
- the washing machine 100 comprises a tub 110, a valve 115, a tank 120 for Intermediate storage of washing liquor when the washing liquor is pumped out and a lye pump 125 for pumping out washing liquor from the tub 110 via the tank 120 in the direction of a water drain 130.
- the valve 115 is designed to prevent a backflow of the washing liquor in the tank 120 into the tub 110 to block.
- the device 105 is connected to at least the drain pump 125 in a manner capable of signal transmission.
- the device 105 is designed to convey washing liquor from the tub 110 via the tank 120 in the direction of the water drain 130 by means of the drain pump 125 at one end of a washing process. After the drain pump 125 has been switched off, a quantity of washing liquor remains in the tank 120. In addition, the device 105 is designed to either use the washing liquor remaining in the tank 120 for use in a subsequent washing process in the tank 120, depending on the length of time the washing liquor remains in the tank 120 To return the tub 110 or to discard the washing liquor remaining in the tank 120 via the water drain 130.
- the device 105 is also designed to use an adjustable threshold value to carry out a threshold value decision with regard to the length of time the wash liquor remains in the tank 120. Depending on a result of the threshold value decision, the washing liquor remaining in the tank 120 is then either returned to the tub 110 for use in the subsequent washing process or is discarded via the water drain 130. For this purpose, the dwell time of the washing liquor in the tank 120 is optionally recorded using a time span measuring device of the washing machine 100.

- the flooding device has a flooding pump 135 and a flooding line 140.
- the device 105 is designed to guide the washing liquor remaining in the tank 120 back into a washing drum 145 arranged in the tub 110 by means of the flooding device.
- the device 105 is connected to the circulating pump 135 so as to transmit signals, and the circulating pump 135 is designed to return the washing liquor remaining in the tank 120 via the circulating line 140 into the washing drum 145 in response to a control signal from the device 105.
- the device 105 is designed to rinse the washing liquor remaining in the tank 120 out of the tank 120 by means of the drain pump 125 by causing fresh water to be introduced into the tub 110 and the fresh water introduced from the tub 110 via the tank 120 in Direction of the water drain 130 is promoted.
- the washing machine 100 shown here When the washing machine 100 shown here is used in conjunction with the device 105, the energy and water consumption of the washing machine 100 with good washing performance is low compared to a commercially available washing machine.
- the washing performance of the washing machine 100 results from the interplay of the components water, mechanics, temperature, time, chemistry and biology according to the extended washing cycle according to Sinner.
- the components chemistry and biology can be added in a washing process via a textile treatment agent such as detergent, bleach or fabric softener.
- a textile treatment agent such as detergent, bleach or fabric softener.
- the washing machine 100 could potentially be contaminated with germs. This is prevented by discarding the washing liquor located in the tank 120 as a function of the dwell time.
- the water and thermal energy of the previous washing process can thus be used without the washing machine 100 becoming contaminated.
- the suction siphon effect is prevented with a backflow protection.
- the backflow protection is implemented by means of the tank 120 with a ventilation.
- the tank 120 is arranged downstream of the drain pump 125.
- the drain pump 125 can also be referred to as a drain pump.
- the backflow protection consists of two components: the tank 120 and the valve 115.
- the valve 115 is designed here as a ball valve 115, for example. If the washing machine 100 has a flooding device, as in the embodiment shown here, the backflow protection is smaller than without a flooding device, since it is not necessary for the ball valve 115 of the tub 110 to be closed by the water of the backflow protection so that the water does not get too far into the Lye container 110 runs back.
- the tank 120 shown here in connection with the ball valve 115, it is possible to store part or the entire wash liquor of the washing process and to warm it up via contact with the environment.
- the tank 120 of the backflow preventer is filled with the washing liquor from the washing process. If the drain pump 125 is switched off, the washing liquor flows back and closes the ball valve 115 to the tub 110. In this way, a defined amount of water is stored.
- the circulating pump 135 is switched on and the heated water is introduced into the load, ie into the laundry received in the drum 145.
- this is energy and water-saving, in particular when using the washing liquor stored in the tank 120 for a main wash in the subsequent washing process.
- a clock integrated in the washing machine 100 records the dwell time or storage time of the washing liquor in the backflow protection. If the storage time exceeds a limit, the wash liquor is discarded from the backflow protection.
- water is fed into the tub 110, the drain pump 125 is switched on and the fresh water from the tub 110 displaces the potentially contaminated wash liquor in the backflow preventer. The subsequent washing process takes place accordingly with unpolluted water.
- water and energy are saved and no additional actuators are required.
- the drain pump 125 and the flood pump 135 are used in conjunction with the ball valve 115 for water management.
- Monitoring the storage time is an effective method of avoiding contamination of the washing liquor stored in the tank 120.
- the conveyance of the washing liquor into the tank 120 and the return or discarding of the stored washing liquor can be implemented by means of the tank 120 as a ventilated reservoir in the sewage line, which is arranged downstream of a pumping direction of the drain pump 125, with a ball valve 115 and a circulation pump 135.
- the storage time of the washing liquor is optionally monitored and it is possible to discard the washing liquor depending on the time it has been in the tank 120.
- FIG. 2 shows a flow chart of a method 200 for operating a washing machine according to an exemplary embodiment.
- the washing machine comprises a tub, a valve, a tank for temporarily storing washing liquor when the washing liquor is pumped out and a tubing pump for pumping washing liquor out of the tub via the tank in the direction of a water drain.
- the valve is designed to block a backflow of washing liquor in the tank into the tub.
- the method 200 has a step 205 of conveying and either a step 210 of returning or a step 215 of discarding. In step 205 of conveying, washing liquor is conveyed out of the tub via the tank in the direction of the water drain by means of the drain pump at one end of a washing process.
- step 210 of returning or step 215 of discarding is then carried out.
- the washing liquor remaining in the tank is transferred to the tub for use in a subsequent washing process as a function of the length of time the washing liquor remains in the tank returned.
- step 215 of discarding the washing liquor remaining in the tank is discarded via the water drain depending on the length of time the washing liquor remains in the tank.
- the method 200 also has a step 220 of carrying out a threshold value decision with regard to the dwell time of the wash liquor in the tank with an adjustable threshold value. Depending on a result of the threshold value decision, after step 220 of carrying out, either step 210 of redirecting or step 215 of discarding is carried out.
- the method also has a step 225 of recording the dwell time of the washing liquor in the tank by means of a time span measuring device. Step 225 is carried out before step 210 of redirecting or step 215 of discarding. If step 220 of performing is carried out, step 225 of detecting is optionally carried out before step 220 of carrying out.
- an exemplary embodiment comprises a “and / or” link between a first feature and a second feature, this is to be read in such a way that the exemplary embodiment according to one embodiment includes both the first feature and the second feature and, according to a further embodiment, either only the has the first feature or only the second feature.
