Claims (11)

  1.   6. Device according to claim 5, characterised in that the two transfer elements define between them a gap with a thickness that reduces in size from the upstream to the downstream end.
  7. Device according to either claim 5 or claim 6, characterised in that the downstream end of one of the elements (11a; 11b) is set back, i.e. further upstream, compared with the downstream end of the other element (11b; 11a).
  8. Device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the transverse strips are articulated along their respective transverse edge.
  9. Device according to any of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the or each transfer element comprises a single continuous belt and a single element in the form of a blade or corner.
