Ein pneumatisch betriebenes Arbeitsgerät 1 dient insbesondere der Verwendung im Karosseriebau der Kraftfahrzeug-Industrie. Das Arbeitsgerät 1 weist einen doppelt wirkenden Zylinder 2 auf. Claims (14)
- Pneumatically operable work apparatus (1), in particular for use in body construction in the automotive industry, having an in particular double-acting cylinder (2) which has a cylinder housing (3), a piston that is displaceable in the latter, and a linearly displaceable piston rod (4), which is connected to the piston and passes out of the cylinder housing (3), for actuating an arm, in particular a clamping arm or pivoting arm of the work apparatus, wherein that region of the piston rod (4) that is arranged outside the piston housing (3) is arranged within a head housing (5) of the work apparatus (1) and the piston rod (4) within the head housing (5) holds at least one switching element (12), and having a device (13), connected to the head housing (5), for sensing and scanning at least one position of the switching element (12), wherein the head housing (5) has two housing parts (8, 9) that are connected together and the device (13) is arranged in a separating region of the two housing parts (8, 9), wherein the device (13) for sensing and scanning has a first component (14) for sensing the at least one position of the switching element (12) and a second, separate component (15) for scanning the at least one position of the switching element (12), wherein the first component (14) is mounted in and between the two housing parts (8, 9), and the first component (14) has, on a side facing an interior of the head housing (5), sensing means (16) for sensing the at least one position of the switching element (12) and the first component (14) has, on a side facing an exterior of the head housing (5), first electrical contact means (17) which cooperate with the sensing means (16), wherein the second component (15) is arranged in the region of the side facing the exterior of the head housing (5) and is connected to the head housing (5), and the second component (15) has second electrical contact means (18) which make contact with the first contact means (17) and has output means (19) cooperating with the second contact means (18), wherein the output means (19) output the at least one position of the switching element (12) sensed by means of the sensing means (16), wherein the output means (19) have an electrical connection (30) for an external device, characterized in that the two components (14, 15) of the device (13) for sensing and scanning at least one position of the switching element (12) make electrical contact when the second component (15) is connected to the head housing (5) with the first component (14) already mounted in the head housing (5).
- Work apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the first component (14) has a bar-shaped main body (20).
