Eine derart ausgestaltete Kunststoffpalette kann daher nicht nur in bestimmten Systemumgebungen gemeinsam mit Holzpaletten im gemischten Betrieb verwendet werden, sondern tatsächlich in sämtlichen Systemumgebungen, die für die Handhabung von Holzpaletten vorgesehen sind. Dies betrifft beispielsweise auch die Einhaltung der entsprechenden Höhenabmessungen der Kunststoffpalette, wobei die aus der Praxis bekannten Kunststoffpaletten typischerweise eine größere Höhe aufweisen als die der genannten Norm entsprechenden Holzpaletten. Die erwähnte Norm, nämlich der UIC-Kodex 435-2, Abschnitt V, in der 8.
