Abstract

La présente invention concerne un matériau granulaire thermo-isolant comprenant de la silice hydrophobe, au moins un agent opacifiant IR, présentant une masse volumique après tassement allant jusqu'à 250 g/L et une contrainte de compression selon la norme DIN EN 826:2013 à 50 % d'écrasement de 150 à 300 ou supérieure à 300 kPa. L'invention concerne également un procédé pour sa fabrication et pour son utilisation à des fins d'isolation thermique.
