Der Ölrücklaufkanal 7 ist mittig unter dem Ölabscheider 4 angeordnet und wird von der Mitte des Zylinderkopfs 2 in Richtung der Zylinderkopfschraube 8 so zu einer äußeren Seite der Brennkraftmaschine hin zur Ölwanne geführt, dass die Zylinderkopfschraube 8 in einem Teilbereich vom rückfließenden Öl umströmt wird, wobei im Bereich der Zylinderkopfdichtung das rückführende Öl weg von der Zylinderkopfschraube und hin zur Wandung des Kurbelgehäuses geführt wird, z. B. in einer hierfür im Kurbelgehäuse 1 angeordneten Nut. Am unteren Ende des Ölrücklaufkanals 7 ist ein Rückschlagventil angeordnet.In figure 3 an internal combustion engine is shown with a maximum inclined position beta and an oil return channel 7, the angle beta being greater than the angle alpha. The internal combustion engine has a crankcase 1, a cylinder head 2 and a cylinder head cover 3 arranged above the cylinder head 2, in which an oil separator 4 is arranged, which has a bulkhead 5 towards the clean air part. The separated oil 6 is arranged in the oil separator 4 at the defined angle of inclination beta in such a way that it just cannot overflow from the oil separator 4 . The oil return channel 7 is arranged centrally under the oil separator 4 and is from the center of the cylinder head 2 in the direction of the cylinder head screw 8 to an outer side of the internal combustion engine towards the oil pan in such a way that the cylinder head screw 8 is partially surrounded by the returning oil, with the returning oil flowing away from the cylinder head screw and towards it in the area of the cylinder head gasket is led to the wall of the crankcase, z. B. in a for this purpose arranged in the crankcase 1 groove. A check valve is arranged at the lower end of the oil return channel 7 .

Claims (8)

  1. Internal combustion engine, comprising at least one crankcase (1), at least one cylinder head (2), at least one cylinder head cover (3), at least one oil separator (4) and at least one oil sump for collecting returning oil, and at least one oil return channel (7) which connects the oil separator (4) and the oil sump, the oil return channel (7) running, after entry into the cylinder head (2), obliquely outwards in the direction of a cylinder head screw (8) and around the latter, characterized in that the oil return channel (7) is arranged centrally below the oil separator (4).
  2. Internal combustion engine according to Claim 1, characterized in that the oil separator (4) is arranged in the cylinder head cover (3).
  3. Internal combustion engine according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the oil separator (4) has a bulkhead (5) towards the clean air part.
  4. Internal combustion engine according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the oil return channel (7) is arranged at the lower end of the oil separator (4).
  5. Internal combustion engine according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the oil return channel (7) is effected from the cylinder head cover (3) into the cylinder head (2) via at least one plug-in piece or an axial seal.
  6. Internal combustion engine according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the oil return channel (7) is part of a cylinder head gasket, with the result that the cylinder head gasket is given oil-conducting properties.
  7. Internal combustion engine according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the oil return channel (7) is realised below the cylinder head gasket by means of a groove which is machined into the blank part contour of the crankcase (1) and merges into a pipe cross section which runs substantially perpendicularly in the direction of the oil sump.
  8. Internal combustion engine according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the end of the oil return channel (7) is provided with a check valve.
