Definitions

  • the invention relates to a male device and a female device intended to be mounted in a car and a landing, respectively, of an elevator assembly with sliding doors, for the temporary coupling of respective door leaves, such that the car door and the landing door can be actuated simultaneously.
  • one of the most reliable consists of providing the operator or a door of the car with a male device that projects from the clearance gauge of the car towards the wall of the shaft wherein the access openings to the elevator car are located in each landing. A respective door is placed in these openings, the opening and closing of which is coordinated with the car door when the car stops at the landing so that the users can access the car from the landing or exit from the same towards the landing.
  • the coordinated opening and closing is achieved by mechanical coupling of the male device that travels with the car to a female device connected to the landing door.
  • the aforementioned mechanical coupling takes place when the male device of the operator of the car is press fitted between two support elements of the receiving group of the female device.
  • this male device drags with it the female device in a movement that ensures the opening of the landing door and the other way around; when the male device moves according to a movement that ensures the closing of the car door, the male device accompanies the female device in a movement that ensures the closing of the landing door.
  • the male device comprises two vanes that can be arranged close to or at a distance from each other and the receiving group comprises two support elements between which the vanes can transit or between which the vanes are fitted according to the arrangement thereof. Specifically, when the vanes are close together they can pass between the support elements without these obstructing the transit of the car through a landing; and when the vanes are arranged at a distance coinciding with the support element, which is promoted when the car stops at the landing, they are press fitted between said support elements to produce the mechanical coupling that enables the coordinated actuation of the car and landing doors.
  • Patent documents EP2714568 ; US 2012298453 ; EP 2287104 ; EP 2566802 ; and WO201143378 describe different versions of systems that put this principle into practice.
  • An objective of the present invention is a system that overcomes this disadvantage, and that therefore enables the known installations to be downsized.
  • the system it is desirable for the system to also have a simple construction, which does not require many mobile components or parts that are susceptible to wear or that require too much maintenance given the high number of cycles to which the systems in an installation of this type are subjected.
  • the system must be suitable for ensuring that there is no gap, for example, between the start of the opening movement of the car doors and the landing doors, a gap that takes place in some of the aforementioned systems that require a movement of the car door in order for the male device to expand and be able to be push fitted between the support elements of the female device, only then initiating the movement of the landing door.
  • a male device with a support that can be fixed to an actuator of a car door and that has a male group mounted that is prepared for the mechanical coupling thereof to a female device connected to a landing door in order to produce the simultaneous movement of the car and landing doors is disclosed, said support being coupled with a certain clearance between a first and a second end position A) and B) to a base attachable to a leaf of the aforementioned car door.
  • the male group of this male device can be lifted with respect to the support thereof, the male group being able to adopt at least two end positions, the first being a standby position a), wherein the male group is retracted and does not couple to the female device, and the second being an operative position b), wherein the male element is extended and couples to the female device.
  • the base has means configured to lift the male group towards the operative position b) thereof when there is a relative movement between the support and the base in the direction that arranges the support in the second end position B).
  • the male device is sufficiently compact so as to not project from the clearance gauge of the car when the male group adopts the standby position a) thereof and, therefore, the car and the landing can be moved closer, reducing the dimensions of the installation.
  • the operative position b) of the male group is reached without the leaf of the car door moving, and therefore, there is no gap between the movements of the car and landing doors.
  • the male group is mounted rotatably with respect to the support about an axis, the base being configured and the mounting relationship between the base and the support being such that said shaft can be oriented parallel to the plane of the leaf of the door when the base is fixed thereto.
  • This variant is constructively simple but effective, without compromising the space that the male device occupies.
  • the support of the male group is movably mounted on the base but guided by means of a set of pins and sliders, stops determining the respective first and second end positions A), B) of the support with respect to the base.
  • the stops are formed by the ends of the sliders.
  • Other solutions are possible such as the use of insert stops placed removably in the sliders. This simply regulates the movement of the support with respect to the base and indirectly the lifting of the male group towards the operative position thereof b).
  • the base and the male group comprise respective first contact surfaces configured to slide against each other and cause the lifting of the male group towards the operative position b) thereof when the driven movement of the support with respect to the base is produced in the direction that arranges the support in the second end position B).
  • One or the two of these first contact surfaces of the base and of the male group can be configured by way of a ramp.
  • At least one of these first contact surfaces of the male group or of the base is made from a resilient piece that is capable of elastically deforming, equipping the male group with the capacity to fold slightly from the operative position b) thereof towards the standby position a) thereof even when the aforementioned first contact surface of the male group runs over the first contact surface of the base.
  • this enables the male device and other fixed components of the elevator assembly to be protected from breaking or deteriorating when the car is in transit between two landings or passes by one landing without stopping, the male group being in the operative position b) thereof. This situation can be provided in certain emergency operations.
  • the invention envisages that the male group is put under stress by elastic means that tend to arrange it in the standby position a) thereof.
  • other solutions are also envisaged to arrange the male group in the standby position a) thereof when the support is in the first end position A) thereof with respect to the base.
  • the male group and the base comprise respective second contact surfaces configured to slide again each other and cause the actuation of the male group towards the standby position a) thereof when the driven movement of the support with respect to the base is produced in the direction that arranges the first in the first end position A), which takes place in a final phase of a door closing operation when, once the leaf reaches the closed position thereof, if the actuator of the leaf of the door follows the movement in the direction providing the closing of the door.
  • At least one of these second contact surfaces of the base or of the male group is configured by way of a ramp.
  • the male group being mounted rotatably with respect to the support about a shaft, one or each first contact surface between the base and the male group are placed on a first side of the shaft and one or each second contact surface between the base and the male group are placed on the other side of the shaft.
  • the male group comprises, in a coupling area to aa associated female device, two vanes, one front and the other rear, of which the front vane is articulated to the male group.
  • the base is also equipped with movable interlocking means configured to cooperate with a fixed element of the car to prevent the movement of said base, and thus that of the leaf of the door, at the start of an opening operation of the door, these interlocking means being actuated by the movement of the front vane.
  • a complementary female device is disclosed, that is for the coupling between a landing door and a car door in an elevator installation with sliding doors, which comprises a receiving group attachable to a door leaf and prepared for the mechanical coupling thereof to a male device connected to a car door to cause the simultaneous movement of the car and landing doors.
  • this female device is characterised in that the receiving group comprises a first and a second support elements, mounted movably such that they can adopt a standby position a), wherein a space is determined therebetween that is sufficient so that a male group of the male device can be arranged therebetween with a certain clearance, and an operative position b), wherein due to mutually moving closer, the support elements can hold between them the aforementioned male group, a load being applied to the first support element by elastic means that tend to arrange it in the standby position a) thereof, and the second support element being put under stress by a force that tends to arrange it in the operative position b) thereof, and having a contact surface intended to cooperate with a fixed component of the landing.
  • the female device comprises locking means with a movable lock configured to cooperate with a fixed protrusion of the landing to prevent the movement of the female device, and therefore the leaf of the door, at the start of an opening operation of the landing door, the first support element being connected to said movable lock, this movable lock being actuated by the movement of the first support element between the standby position a) and operating position b) thereof.
  • an elevator installation with a cabin equipped with the male device according to the present invention; a landing equipped with a female device also according to the present invention, the male group of the male device being sized to be arranged between the first and second support elements of the female device when a car stops at the height of the landing and the male group adopts the operative position b) thereof.
  • the attached figures show a male device according to an embodiment of the invention, showing the different positions that it adopts throughout the opening operation of a car door. Specifically:
  • Figs. 1a and 2b exemplify a male device 101 according to the invention and the relationship thereof with parts of an elevator car.
  • This male device 101 essentially comprises a support 5, joined to an actuator 3 of the car door (see Figs. 1b and 2b ), that is of the belt type in the example, in order to move together with this actuator 3 during the opening and closing operations of the door; and a support 10 that is fastened to a leaf 2 of the car door which therefore moves together with this door.
  • a support 10 that is fastened to a leaf 2 of the car door which therefore moves together with this door.
  • the support 5 and the base 10 generally have a plate shape and the support 5 overlaps over the base 10, with which it is mechanically connected.
  • the support 5 and the base 10 are coupled in a movable way but guided by means of a set of pins and sliders 8, 9, such that the support 5 can move with respect to the base 10 between a first and second end positions A and B, respectively shown in Figs. 1a and 1b .
  • the support 5 assembles a male group 4 that is intended to mechanically couple to a female device of a landing door.
  • this male group 4 can adopt several positions, one of which is a standby position a) wherein the male group 4 is folded and does not project forward, that is towards the location of the landings, and does not obstruct the transit of the car through the shaft; and another position is an operative position b) wherein the male group 4 sufficiently lifts and extends forwards in this case to interact with a female device connected to a landing door, as shall be explained below, when the car stops at said landing.
  • standby a) and operative b) positions are better identified in Figs. 1c and 2c respectively.
  • the male device 101 is prepared so that this male group 4 adopts the standby a) or operative b) position thereof depending on the relative position between the support 5 and the base 10 at that time.
  • the male group 4 is mounted rotatably with respect to the support 5 about a shaft 7, the base 10 being configured and the mounting relationship between the base 10 and the support 5 being such that said shaft 7 can be oriented parallel to the plane of the leaf 2 of the door when the base 10 is fixed thereto.
  • This shaft 7 acting as a fulcrum, the male group 4 continues to be a lever wherein two arms, one on each side of the fulcrum, are identified.
  • the base 10 and the male group 4 comprise respective first contact surfaces 11, 12 configured to slide against each other and cause the lifting of the male group 4, forcing it to rotate about the shaft 7, towards the operative position b) thereof when the driven movement of the support 5 with respect to the base 10 is produced in the direction that arranges the support 5 in the second end position B), which is better shown in Fig. 2c .
  • the invention envisages that the male group 4 is put under stress by elastic means that tend to arrange it in the standby position a) thereof, such that when the support 5 adopts the first end position A) thereof, and the first contact surface 12 of the male group 4 does not run over the first contact surface 11 of the base 10, the male group 4 automatically adopts the standby position a) thereof.
  • the base 10 and the male group 4 comprise respective second contact surfaces 13, 14 configured to slide against each other and cause the actuation of the male group 4, this time towards the standby position a) thereof when the driven movement of the support 5 with respect to the base 10 is produced in the direction that arranges the first in the first end position A), which is better shown in Fig. 1c .
  • the male group 4 it comprises a front vane 4a and a rear vane 4b in the coupling portion thereof, of which the front vane 4a is rotatable.
  • the rotation of this front vane is transmitted to movable interlocking means 19 with which the base 10 is equipped in order to enable the movement thereof, as shall be described in greater detail below.
  • These interlocking means 19 comprise, which in itself is known, a rotating hook 15 that is prepared to be fastened, in a closed position shown in Figs. 1a and 1b , to a fixed element 18 of the car to retain to the base 10, and therefore retain the movement of, the leaf 2 of the door in the opening direction thereof, when the door is closed.
  • the first contact surface 12 of the male group 4 is made of a resilient piece 17, that is which is capable of elastically deforming, equipping the male group 4 with the capacity to fold slightly from the operative position b) thereof towards the standby position a) thereof even when the aforementioned first contact surface 12 of the male group 4 runs over the first contact surface 11 of the base 10. This effect is shown in Fig. 4 .
  • the resilient piece 17 is in the form of a band, being able to be made from a metal sheet, and the male group 4 has a window or cutout coinciding with the ramp that determines the first contact surface 11 of the base 10, with the aim of the male group 4 being moved closer to the base 10, elastically forcing the resilient piece 17, and even being arranged at a level below the aforementioned ramp.
  • the profile of these vanes be cut at the edge thereof facing the aforementioned ramp.
  • Figs. 5a and 5b show a female device 102 that is especially suitable for cooperating with the male device 101 described above.
  • the female device 102 is thus intended to couple to the male group 4 of the male device 101 and to do so it have a receiving group 24 attachable to a door leaf (not shown) that comprises a first and second support elements 25, 26 that in the example are rotatable and are prepared to adopt by default, when the landing door is in the closed position, a standby position a), wherein a space is determined therebetween that is sufficient so that a male group of the male device 4 can be arranged therebetween with a certain clearance when it adopts the operative position b) thereof.
  • This standby position is shown in Fig 5a .
  • the first support element 25 has a load applied by elastic means 25a that tend to arrange it in the position shown in Fig. 5a .
  • the second support element 26 it is designed to be put under stress by the gravitational force towards the position it occupies in Fig. 5b , with the help of a counterweight 26b.
  • the second support element 26 is equipped with a contact surface 26a intended to cooperate with a fixed component 27 of the landing (hidden in Fig. 5a ) which forces it to adopt the position it occupies in Fig. 5a when the landing door remains closed.
  • the receiving group 24 is equipped with locking means 28 with a movable lock 28a configured to cooperate with a fixed protrusion of the landing 29 to prevent the movement of the female device 102, and therefore, the leaf of the door to which it is fastened, at the start of an opening operation of the landing door, which is shown in Fig. 5a .
  • the support element 25 is connected to this movable lock 28a, the movable lock 28a being actuated by the movement of the first support element 25.
  • the operation of the female device 102, in cooperation with the male device 101, is the following:
  • Fig. 8 shows an exemplary installation 103 that uses central opening double-leaf doors.
  • the leaves 2 of the car door 1 move inside the vertical projection of the sill 30, the dimension X of which is 50 mm; while the leaves 32 of the landing door move inside the vertical projection of the sill 31, with the same dimension X.
  • the dimension A which is the distance between the sills 30, 31 can be reduced in relation to conventional installations, being equal to or less than 10 mm due to the fact that the male group 4 does not project from the clearance gauge of the car and that it does not project outside said vertical projection of the sill 30 when the car is in transit and only projects outside the vertical projection of the sill 30 when an opening operation of the doors is initiated, which is shown in Fig. 8 .
