- US patent application 2008/0000132 A1 describes a stick in the form of a rigid extension attached to the body of the weapon being offset laterally from the weapon's barrel, in order to aim with a helmet. This stick is not practical at all to use and does not allow any freedom of adaptation to the morphology of the shooter.
- Patent EPI 126231B1 describes an articulated device which is fixed on the body of a shotgun to adjust the angle and height of the butt plate. This device that wants to be as compact as possible can not be really adapted to an assault rifle or defensive launcher and, in any case, does not solve the inconvenience caused by wearing a helmet visor when a shot.
- Patent application EP2988087 also discloses a mechanism which is provided for laterally shifting the butt plate with respect to the body of the weapon, but without the possibility of adjusting the height or inclination with respect to the latter.
