Definitions

  • the invention relates to a windshield wiper, a vehicle having a front hood, a windshield and a windshield wiper and a use of such a windshield wiper and methods that can be performed with such a windshield wiper.
  • a housing for covering the rear window wiper of a motor vehicle is known.
  • a fixed housing part is formed like a trough in the tailgate.
  • the lid is fixedly connected to the wiper arm and, in the rest position of the wiper arm, is substantially flush with the housing opening. If the rear window wiper is put into operation, it must first be moved linearly along the drive axis of the windscreen wiper in order to leave the housing recess.
  • the focus here is a protection of the wiper blade from dirt and a reduced air resistance.
  • the present invention has the object to provide a construction in which the windshield wiper water can be better applied to the disc to be cleaned and / or the aerodynamics can be improved.
  • the invention is based on the idea of providing a cover covering at least one region of the wiper arm and / or at least one region of the wiper blade of a windscreen wiper arm on the wiper arm of the windscreen wiper and forming at least one windshield washer nozzle as part of this cover or fastening it to the cover.
  • the cover By attaching the cover to the wiper arm, the cover is moved with the wiper arm.
  • the nozzle By forming the nozzle as part of the cover, or by placing the nozzle on the cover, the nozzle is also moved with the wiper arm. This provides the ability to change the relative position of the nozzle relative to the disc and to bring the nozzle in advantageous for dispensing the windshield washer fluid positions.
  • this creates the possibility of moving the nozzle over the vehicle window during a wiping operation, so that the wiping liquid can be applied over the entire wiping process in the vicinity of the wiper blade.
  • the provision of the cover provides the opportunity to use as a cover for a trough of a vehicle having an upper opening which is bounded on one side by the edge of the front hood, which has the front hood at its end facing the windshield, and is bounded on the opposite side by a part of the windshield or by a part of a frame which holds the windshield.
  • the windshield wiper according to the invention offers the possibility of a nozzle system protected by the cover.
  • the cover can prevent damage, soiling and rapid freezing of the nozzle.
  • the cover is attached to the wiper arm.
  • the wiper arm is made so rigid that the wiping action it follows follows a fixed path. By attaching the cover to the wiper arm, it is thus possible to move the nozzle formed as part of the cover or nozzle attached to the cover along a fixed path.
  • the wiper arm of the windshield wiper according to the invention preferably has a metal profile or a plastic profile.
  • the metal profile or the plastic profile may have at least one linearly extending region.
  • the metal profile or the plastic profile has a first, linearly extending region and a second, linearly extending region. In this case, embodiments are conceivable in which the first linearly extending region merges via a bend region into the second, linearly extending region.
  • the wiper arm may comprise a fastener and a hinge with which the metal profile or plastic profile is pivotally attached to the fastener.
  • one end of the wiper rod in the form of a hook engages in a suspension frame of a wiper blade.
  • the wiper blade may have a suspension frame, which is formed by two side cheeks of a central bracket.
  • the wiper blade may have a Hatgliediges support bracket system, which is constructed with mounted on a central bracket, lower brackets, of which at least some hold with a fastening in the form of claws at their ends a wiper strip on the head strip.
  • the support bracket system and the spring rails enclosed in the associated head strip allow the wiper strip to be adapted to a curved windshield during wiping with a largely uniform contact pressure. This can be supported by the bias on a hinged joint by means of a tension spring. It is also conceivable to provide only a resilient head strip instead of a multi-member support bracket system.
  • subordinate bracket also called claw bracket and intermediate bracket omitted.
  • the center bracket itself claws, with which he holds the wiper strip.
  • the wiper arm can be connected with its attachment part with a drive shaft which drives the wiper arm during the wiping movement.
  • the fastening parts may have a receptacle which can be connected to one end of the drive shaft, for example a receptacle in an internal toothing, which can be placed on a toothed drive shaft.
