Definitions
- the present invention relates to a thermally stable and cyclically loadable ultra high strength concrete component.
- the abbreviation UHPC is used for ultra high performance concrete.
- the abbreviation UHFB is also known for such concretes.
- UHPC concretes are well known from the prior art. UHPC concretes differ from common concretes in that they have a higher strength. In detail, one speaks of a UHPC when it has a strength of more than 130 N/mm 2 with a water-cement content of ⁇ 0.25. UHPC concretes are characterized by a dense microstructure with a very low capillary porosity.
- UHPC concretes are rarely fully hydrated.
- a water vapor partial pressure of free, originally physically and chemically bound water is created.
- the water vapor partial pressure cannot escape due to the dense microstructure of the concrete. If the water vapor partial pressure exceeds the tensile strength of the matrix, the concrete fails. This can lead to spalling of larger concrete parts, or explosive phenomena with simultaneous strong steam development, leaving gravel-like residues.
- the CN 107 382 205 A discloses an ultra-high-strength, high-performance fiber reinforced concrete of strength class C160 and a method for its production.
- the concrete contains the following components in Parts by weight: 485 parts cement, 82 parts water, 1000 parts macadam rock, 750 parts fine aggregate, 70 parts coal ash, 73 parts rice hull ash, 102 parts silica fume, 14.0 parts water reducer, 9.5 parts reactive additive, 1.6 parts cellulose fibers , 40 parts hydroxy-modified carbon nanotube dispersion liquid, 37 parts graphene oxide dispersion liquid, and 2.6 parts defoamer. The proportion by weight of the cellulose fibers is therefore 0.06%.
- the concrete produced has higher toughness, durability, higher bond strength with section steel, compressive strength up to 167.74 MPa, fracture strength up to 35.21 MPa, splitting strength up to 14.59 MPa, bond strength with section steel of up to 7.54 MPa and a class VI resistance to chloride penetration.
- the object on which the invention is based is to provide a solid mass for the production of a UHPC concrete that can be subjected to high thermal stresses and, moreover, can be subjected to alternating loads, ie can be subjected to cyclic stresses.
- the solid mass contains at least one hydraulic binder, namely cement and at least one aggregate, e.g. As quartz sand or basalt sand, and has a proportion of fibers whose volume decreases when heated.
- the solid mass has fibers that reduce its volume when the finished concrete is heated, namely cellulose fibers and/or regenerated cellulose fibers. The reduction in volume of such fibers when heated creates a pore structure in the concrete, which opens up the possibility of dissipating the partial pressure of water vapor in the concrete without causing a microcrack structure that leads to the destruction of a concrete component made from the solid mass according to the invention.
- UHPC concrete can be further increased by using cellulose fibers and regenerated cellulose fibers.
- regenerated cellulose fibers have a higher tensile strength of 918.1 MPa compared to 247.2 MPa compared to polypropylene fibers and a higher modulus of elasticity of 6,753.8 MPa compared to 1158.6 MPa. Since the water absorption of such cellulose or regenerated cellulose fibers is up to 10%, a considerable increase in the strength of the concrete can also be expected when such concrete is heated.
- the proportion of fibers that reduce their volume when heated in relation to the volumetric solids content of the concrete is between 0.3 and 1.2% by volume, particularly advantageously between 0.3 and 0.6% by volume. in particular 0.6% by volume.
- the fibers advantageously have a length of about 0.5 to 20 mm and a diameter of about 5 to 200 ⁇ m, preferably about 12 ⁇ m.
- the component has a microstructure in which the cavities created by the fibers are at least partially connected to the environment in order to prevent the hydrogen partial pressure, i.e. the water, from escaping to allow hydration of the concrete used. Further hydration or the pozzolanic reaction by the water vapor generally leads to an increase in strength at certain temperature ranges.
- the invention also relates to the use of a thermally stable and cyclically stressable, ultra-high-strength concrete component as described above, as a fire protection element, as a stove plate as a natural stone substitute, for example for soapstone, or also for the production of industrial floors with high mechanical and cyclic thermal loads at the same time.
- concrete components can be produced that have a strength of approx. 165 N/mm 2 after 28 days of standard storage exhibit.
- Such a concrete component can also withstand high thermal loads, since it can be heated to over 250° C., in particular up to approx. 500° C., and cooled to room temperature almost as often as desired without the primary function of the concrete component or concrete being impaired .
