Description

The invention relates to a baby sling according to claim 1, a puk sling according to claim 3 and a duvet according to claim 5.

So-called baby slings are known in the art. These consist of a mostly rectangular piece of fabric (i.e. a flat, flexible textile element) with dimensions of mostly around 450 by 50 cm. The corresponding textile element is usually woven relatively densely from cotton, since it must of course have a certain tear resistance.

The object of the present invention is to provide a baby sling which has improved properties.

This object is achieved by a baby sling that has a flat, flexible textile element with the features of claim 1 . Such a textile element can also serve as a puk cloth according to claim 3 or as a bed cover according to claim 5.

According to the invention, the textile element has a network structure. This results in numerous advantages over the prior art. The most important of these are: The mesh structure results in a certain elasticity due to the structure, which can significantly increase the wearing comfort for both the child and the wearer. Furthermore, the open mesh structure allows ventilation of the body parts underneath (again, both the child and the wearer), which also leads to a significantly improved wearing comfort.

Such a flat, flexible textile element can be produced in a wide variety of technical processes, such as weaving, knitting, crocheting or warp-knitting with weaving being the preferred method as a rule, so that the textile element is then a woven fabric. Since the flat, flexible textile element has a net structure, it could in principle also be knotted, but this is generally not preferred.

The mesh size of the network structure, which is defined here as the maximum length of a mesh, is between 2 and 5 mm. This mesh size is selected so that on the one hand there is sufficient ventilation and on the other hand it is prevented that even the little fingers of a baby can penetrate through the textile fabric or get caught in it, which would of course be potentially dangerous.

As has already been mentioned, a central advantage of the textile element according to the invention is its breathability, which is caused by the structure and which in particular counteracts excessive sweating. In order to support this effect even further, it is preferred that the textile element consists of at least 50 percent, in particular at least 90 percent, of bamboo fibers and/or coconut fibers or of fibers made from them.

Bamboo fibers in particular are known to have an antibacterial effect, so that the formation of odors is additionally counteracted. This also improves overall hygiene. The bamboo or coconut fibers can each be spun directly into yarn threads, from which the textile element is in turn made, or they can also serve as the basis for fibers produced therefrom in the viscose process, from which yarn threads are then spun. Another advantage of using bamboo fibers is the high tear resistance of the textile element produced.

In order to further improve the elastic, in particular bi-elastic properties of the textile element, it can be preferred that the textile element consists partially of elastane, with a proportion (in percent by mass) of between 1 and 3 percent being preferred.

It is further preferred that no other material is used apart from natural fibers or fibers made from natural fibers and elastane.

If a material mix of natural fibers or fibers made from natural fibers and elastane is used, it is preferable to use yarn threads which contain both types of fibers in order to achieve good elastic properties.

It is also possible to use both natural fibers and fibers made from natural fibers in a mix. In order to maintain the skin-friendly properties, the proportion of natural fibers or the proportion of fibers made from natural fibers or the mix just mentioned should be at least 90 percent by weight of the fabric.

A textile element according to the invention can be constructed in one or more layers.

The invention will now be explained in more detail using a specific exemplary embodiment with reference to the figures. Here show: .
figure 1
a schematic plan view of a baby sling,
figure 2
the detail D out figure 1 also in a schematic representation.

The invention will now be described using a baby sling 10, in which case the structure specifically described with reference to this exemplary embodiment can also be present in other textile elements according to the invention.

Such a baby sling 10 is a flat, flexible (ie bendable), generally limp textile element and typically has a length l of 450 cm and a width b of 50 cm, although other dimensions can also be useful. The textile element can be produced in particular by weaving, but also by other methods such as knitting, crocheting or warp-knitting. How to figure 2 , i.e. the detail D figure 2 , removes, the textile element has a network structure. This means that it can be described geometrically as being made up of mutually parallel first strands 12 and mutually parallel second strands 14, with the first strands 12 and the second strands 14 not being parallel to one another. In principle, the directions of the two strands can be perpendicular to one another, but this is not the case in the exemplary embodiment shown. First strands 12 and second strands 14 meet at crossing points K, so that each four crossing points K define a stitch M. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the meshes are diamonds, the length L of which exceeds their width B. The length of a mesh (ie its maximum extent) is preferably between 2 and 5 millimeters. This ensures that an infant's finger cannot penetrate or even penetrate the tissue, while still providing adequate ventilation.

Like any other fabric (this also applies to the other possible types of manufacture), the textile element is woven from yarn threads, each yarn being spun from a multitude of fibres. The proportion of fibers that are natural fibers or were made from natural fibers is at least 90 percent. The rest of the fibers can be elastane. Here, it is preferable that each yarn thread used is a mixture of the above-mentioned natural fibers or fibers made of natural fibers and elastane, resulting in a bi-elasticity of the entire textile element.

In a preferred example, the textile element consists of 95 to 99% by weight of viscose fibers made from bamboo fibers and 1 to 5% by weight of elastane.
