Definitions
- the invention relates to a roll-up roofing installation, comprising at least one winding shaft and a fabric-like roofing element, which is provided for installation on the wall or ceiling side, the roofing element to be rolled up having at least one permanently elastic volume element.
- the DE 299 13 875 U relates to a sun protection system with a winding shaft, the winding shaft having, in the area of the at least one seam, an area extending over the circumference of the shaft, in which at least part of the additional thickness of the sun protection curtain resulting from the overlap in the seam area can be absorbed.
- a circumferential bead can be formed on the winding shaft or the winding shaft is covered outside the seam areas with a material of a certain thickness.
- a shading device is known with an awning fabric which has a seam, with a layer of elastic material being arranged on the winding shaft next to or under the seam, into which the seam can be pressed.
- the present invention is based on the task of automatically balancing unequal moments of tension in the cloth when it is wound onto the winding shaft, as well as those caused by winding up a cloth surface with different material thicknesses. to automatically compensate for the different winding radii on the winding shaft that arise within this area and thus to achieve a cloth tension that is as constant as possible and a constant winding pressure between the winding shaft and the cloth surface to be wound along the winding shaft.
- the object is achieved by a roll-up roofing installation according to claim 1.
- the invention relates to a roll-up roofing installation which automatically compensates for uneven changes in the winding radius and/or the fabric tension and/or the winding pressure between the shaft and the roofing element which frequently occur along the winding shaft during the winding of the roofing element.
- the invention essentially proposes that the roofing element to be wound up receives an additional permanently elastic volume element which increases the winding radius approximately uniformly over the entire width of the winding parallel to the shaft.
- the roofing element to be wound up it is integrated into an elongated pocket parallel to the winding shaft, like in a sail batten pocket.
- the permanently elastic volume element is dimensioned in terms of its thickness applied to the winding shaft and with an elasticity modulus in such a way that, with normal, uniform average tensile stress on the fabric surface of the respective installation, it maintains the applied volume without major losses and that, with a partial increase, there is a partially higher tensile stress in yields elastically in such a way that its volume is compressed at this loaded point until the fabric tension and/or the winding pressure between the fabric surface and the shaft is approximately the same as the rest Cloth tension and/or the remaining average pressure on the winding shaft corresponds.
- the elastic volume element can automatically compensate for the possible radius differences resulting from unequal material volumes during winding by using its elasticity to yield elastically in the direction of the radius center of the winding shaft at every point of the volume element subjected to above-average pressure and tension.
- the permanently elastic volume element consists, for example, of a closed-cell plastic foam layer.
- the gas in the cells is compressed under pressure until the outer winding radius there has equalized the remaining winding radius on the shaft. If the cloth is unwound again, the plastic element at the previously compressed point expands back to its original and evenly loaded shape.
- the volume element is shaped like a tube and also consists of a type of closed-cell plastic foam similar to the type of insulating tube for heating pipes.
- the windable roofing surface there are a kind of sail batten pockets approximately parallel to the winding shaft, in which additional tensioning elements are inserted, as shown in the application DE 102011122502 A1 known. This clamping element is inserted into the tubular volume element and can be easily inserted into the respective batten pocket together with the volume element.
- the volume element can alternatively consist of a simple tube-like elastic material, which can be filled either with gas or even with a liquid is filled.
- the volume element can also consist of a type of foam rubber or similar elastic material.
- the volume element is permanently elastic and can deform in a partial area of the winding after each load situation relating to the invention and can reset itself again when the roofing element is unwound.
- the invention relates to a roll-up roofing installation, comprising a winding shaft and a fabric-like roofing element in which there is at least one permanently elastic volume element that initially increases the winding radius.
- the permanently elastic volume element ensures that unequal fabric tensions that often arise when winding up fabric-like roofing elements are directly compensated for by the elastic yielding of the volume element, in that it yields until the winding pressure between the winding shaft and the roofing element is distributed evenly on the shaft again and / or until the Tensile stress between all areas of the roofing element and the winding shaft is uniform again.
- Figure 1 shows schematically a longitudinal section through a winding shaft 1 with a roofing element 2 wound with two turns, such as an awning or sun sail.
- the stitched and therefore three-layered side edge region 11 of the roofing element 2 shows here that even with two wraps on the winding shaft 1, the cause is a significantly larger winding radius 10 than the smaller winding radius 13, which is caused by the single-layer wound area 14 of the roofing element 2.
- FIG. 2 shows schematically a cross section through a further possible arrangement of the invention with a winding shaft 1, which is provided with a piping groove in which the roofing element 2 is fastened with a piping profile 8 and which is wound on the winding shaft with 2 revolutions.
- a pocket-like receptacle 6 in which a clamping profile 7 is inserted, which is surrounded by a tube-like elastic material, this tube being shown here as a closed-cell plastic foam 4.
- FIG 3 shows a top view of a schematic representation of a rectangular sun sail as a roofing element 2, which is attached to a winding shaft 1 and unwound and stretched over a tension profile 15 and tension cables 9 attached to it.
- a winding shaft 1 In the surface of the roll-up roofing element 2 there are four pocket-like receptacles 6, approximately parallel to the winding shaft, which, as already in Figure 2 shown can be constructed and included or which simply each contain an elastic volume element 3.
