Definitions

  • the invention relates to a carrying device for a baby or toddler with a carrying system that has two shoulder straps and a sling connected to the carrying system.
  • Carrying devices for babies and / or small children are known in a wide variety of configurations.
  • the carrying device is intended to hold the baby or toddler securely on the body of the person carrying it. Furthermore, it is important that the carrying device enables an anatomically favorable and, in particular, back-friendly posture when being carried both for the baby or toddler and for the wearer.
  • the baby or the toddler should be held securely and in a comfortable manner in the carrying device so that the wearer can carry out tasks, the wearer being able to move his hands and arms freely.
  • the carrying device should allow easy adjustment both to the size and weight of the baby or toddler to be carried and to the anatomy of the wearer. A larger child may have to be positioned lower in order not to restrict the wearer.
  • the carrying system can be adapted to a larger or smaller person may be required to provide an ideal carrying position for the baby or toddler.
  • a baby carrier which shows a cloth-shaped receiving body. This is connected at a lower edge to a hip belt of the baby carrier and has a connection belt at each of the two upper corners, which is connected to one of two shoulder belts in the shoulder area.
  • a stomach part sits between the shoulder straps and the hip belt and is arranged between the carrier and the baby when worn.
  • the lower ends of the shoulder straps each engage at a lateral connection position on the abdominal part.
  • a baby hip belt extends between these lateral connection points and the receiving body and is arranged over the thighs of the accommodated baby when worn.
  • the baby hip belt can be detached from the side connection points using a buckle.
  • the WO 2011/017729 A1 describes a carrying device for a baby or a toddler, the receiving space being defined by a cloth which is attached to a carrying system with ends or sides.
  • the carrying system has two shoulder straps.
  • the receiving space is formed between the wearer's body and the sling.
  • the carrying system does not allow sufficient adjustment of the tension of the sling.
  • the position of the carrying device on the carrier is changed by tensioning the sling.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to overcome these and other disadvantages of the prior art and to provide a carrying device for babies and toddlers, which allows simple adaptation of the carrying device to the size and weight of the baby or toddler to be carried and to the anatomy of the wearer enables. Furthermore, simple and safe insertion and carrying of the child with an anatomical posture should be made possible for both the child and the wearer.
  • a carrying device for a baby or toddler with a carrying system that has two shoulder straps and a sling connected to the carrying system it is provided that the carrying system has a belly part on which the shoulder straps are held, the sling being connected to the belly part and a receiving space for the baby or toddler is formed between the stomach part and the sling.
  • the receiving space is not formed between the body of the wearer and the sling, but between the belly part of the carrying system and the sling.
  • the carrying system forms an area for the wearer's body that is separate from the receiving space.
  • the carrying system can therefore be adjusted completely independently of the sling.
  • the carrying system can therefore initially be adapted to the anatomy of the wearer, so that an anatomically correct carrying of the baby or the toddler is possible for the wearer.
  • the receiving space can be adapted to the anatomy, weight and / or size of the child, this adaptation not leading to a change in the settings of the carrying system or a change in the carrying position.
  • This adjustment can take place, for example, after the carrying system has been put on and adjusted, so that the carrying system is already securely held on the carrier and can no longer slip.
  • the carrying system can also be adjusted, for example adapted to the anatomy of another wearer, without the receiving space being adjusted.
  • the carrying system can be adapted relatively closely to the body of the wearer and the tension on the sling can be chosen to be relatively loose regardless of this. It is also possible to adjust the carrying system relatively loosely so that the carrier is not restricted, and to select a higher tension on the baby sling in order to ensure that the child is held securely.
  • the possibility of separate adjustment of the carrying system and the sling thus provides a carrying device in which there is a particularly secure feeling when being carried because the stomach part specifically defines the receiving space for the child on the part of the carrying adult.
  • the stomach part acts as an additional retaining wall, by means of which the feeling is avoided that the baby could slip out.
  • the child can be inserted into the carrying device more easily, since the carrying device with the carrying system can first be fixed on the wearer's body and the child is only inserted into the receiving space after the carrying system has been put on.
  • Another advantage of the separate adjustment of the carrying system and the receiving space is that any design of the carrying system is possible, in particular without a hip or waist belt. Often, child carriers have a hip or waist belt that closes the receiving space at the bottom. Use without the hip or waist belt is not possible or only possible to a very limited extent. Since, according to the invention, the receiving space can be adjusted independently of the carrying system, a hip belt or waist belt is not required to hold the child in the carrying device. If wearing a hip belt is found to be uncomfortable, for example immediately after delivery or after a caesarean section, the hip belt can be dispensed with without sacrificing the adjustment of the space for the child or the safety of the child held in the carrying device comes.
  • the belly part preferably extends above and / or below beyond the sling, so that a large contact surface is created on the belly part and the belly part securely delimits the receiving space and offers a good hold for the sling.
  • the belly part can be made relatively stiff, in particular stiffer than the sling, so that it has a certain supporting effect and a pre-shaping of the receiving space takes place through which the receiving space is more dimensionally stable.
  • the stomach part is so flexible that it can be adapted to the anatomy of the wearer.
  • the shoulder straps can in particular be designed in several parts, with a relatively soft and / or breathable support surface for the wearer's shoulders and with a relatively hard, supporting carrying part that prevents excessive deformation of the shoulder straps.
  • the stomach part and the support parts are made of the same material, in particular in one piece, so that unnecessary flexion points can be avoided which could promote swinging or bending of the support device.
  • the shoulder straps can be adjustable in length for optimal adaptation to the anatomy of the wearer.
  • the sling can also be designed to narrow or loosen the receiving space in order to adapt it to the baby or toddler to be carried.
  • the sling can have one or more pull threads arranged in one or more seam edges, the pulling of which pulls the receiving space narrower.
  • the sling is connected to the abdominal part with a lower connection point at a lower connection point and with two lateral connection points at two lateral connection points.
  • a leg opening is formed in each case between the connection of the lateral connection points to the lateral connection points and the connection of the lower connection point to the lower connection point.
  • These three connections create a safe space in which the child can be inserted.
  • at least the lateral connections are detachable and can be detached and reconnected to insert the child. This also makes it easier to insert the child.
  • the sling and / or the stomach part can be padded and / or shaped in the area of the leg openings in order to improve the comfort of the child.
  • the sling can have several lower attachment points and / or several lateral attachment points and / or the lower attachment points and / or the lateral attachment points are designed to be displaceable on the sling.
  • the tension of the sling can be relaxed or increased so that the size of the receiving space can be ideally adapted.
  • connection points and / or several lateral connection points can be provided and / or the lower connection point and / or the lateral connection points can be designed to be displaceable on the carrying system.
  • the length or the width of the receiving space can be adapted so that the receiving space can be flexibly adapted to the child's anatomy.
  • connection of the lower connection point and the lower connection point can be formed, for example, by a zipper or a Velcro fastener.
  • a zipper enables the baby sling to be securely and quickly attached to the abdomen.
  • several counterparts of a zipper can be provided on the stomach part or on the sling, so that a suitable connection point or a suitable connection point can be selected depending on the size of the child.
  • a Velcro fastener enables quick and flexible adjustment.
  • the connection points and the connection points can each be formed by corresponding counterparts of a Velcro fastener. But it is also possible that the connection points or the connection points form a loop on which a flap can be threaded and closed with a Velcro fastener.
  • the lateral connection points and / or the lateral connection points enable the tension to be adjusted continuously.
  • a simple and quick adjustment of the tension should preferably be possible even with the child in place, in order to ensure an optimal adaptation to the child's anatomy after the child has been inserted.
  • Self-locking, stepless connection types are therefore preferred.
  • connection between the lateral connection points and the lateral connection points are each formed by two rings provided at the connection points through which a section of the sling is guided in such a way that the section is clamped between the rings.
  • the clamping takes place in such a way that by pulling on the sections of the sling, it is possible to move the sling and thus increase the tension.
  • the child can therefore be inserted and then the tension can be increased by pulling on the sections of the sling, the pulling direction being essentially perpendicular to the weight acting on the child's body. If the tensile force acts in the opposite direction, the clamping force increases, so that an inadvertent reduction in tension is prevented.
  • the jamming can be released by simply pushing apart or folding the rings against the direction of the tensile force.
  • the sling can have at least one securing element in order to additionally secure the sling on the carrying system and thus exclude any risk to the child if a connection is accidentally or intentionally loosened.
  • the securing element is a Velcro fastener that is passed through the rings on the stomach part and forms a closed loop.
  • two upper connection points can be provided on the sling and two upper connection points on the stomach part or the shoulder straps, an arm opening being formed between the connection of an upper connection point with an upper connection point and the connection of a lateral connection point with a lateral connection point.
  • the connections are each designed to be detachable so that they can be detached for inserting or removing the child.
  • the connection points are distributed over a large area, so that a large space can be provided, which also enables larger children to be carried safely. Due to the upper and side connections, the width of the receiving space in this Areas can be set separately so that the child can, for example, be pulled very close to the body of the wearer, which can lead to a safe and stable wearing comfort of the wearer. Because the sling is connected with the lateral attachment points to a central region of the belly part, the receiving space is additionally attached to the belly part in its center. This reduces movements of the receiving space in all directions and increases the perception of the carrying adult that the small child is securely held in the receiving space.
  • connections are preferably formed by connecting means which are easy to operate by the wearer, so that the carrier can simply release, close or adjust the connections.
  • the connections are formed by snap locks or snap buckles which, by snapping in and / or form locking, provide a connection that is secure but easy for the wearer to release.
  • these can have insertion aids so that simple and quick operation is also possible when the fasteners or buckles are outside the field of view of the wearer.
  • a protruding locking bolt is provided at the connection point or the connection point
  • a locking element with an elongated groove that tapers to a locking point is provided at the corresponding connection point or at the corresponding connection point. The groove can be placed on the locking pin and moved relative to it until it engages.
  • the sling can have several upper attachment points and / or the upper attachment points can be designed to be displaceable on the sling. Furthermore, several upper connection points can also be provided and / or the upper connection points can be designed to be displaceable on the carrying system.
  • the upper connection points can, for example, each have a strap, in particular a length-adjustable strap, provided on the sling.
  • the sling can also be moved in sections along the tabs.
  • the length-adjustable straps allow the length of the receiving space to be adapted to different lower connection points or connection points.
  • the tension on the sling can also be adjusted further.
  • the ends of the flap can be firmly sewn to the sling in a central area.
  • the area of the sling located above the seam can be moved along the flaps, for example to enlarge the receiving space or to provide sun or weather protection for the child.
  • a head support element can be provided between the tabs, which is held on the tabs in a releasable and / or displaceable manner.
  • the headrest element is stretched between the straps so that the child's head is held securely regardless of the tension on the sling.
  • the headrest element can, for example, be adjustable in height in order to adapt it to the position of the child's head.
  • the headrest element can also be adjustable in length in order to completely cover the area of the child protruding from the sling, in particular also the neck, and thus, for example, to protect it from the weather.
  • the headrest element can also be pulled over the child's head like a hood.
  • the head support element can, for example, also be detachably or non-detachably connected to the sling with a lower edge on the sling.
  • a hip belt can be provided which is in particular releasably connected to the abdominal part.
  • the hip belt is connected to the stomach part, for example, at the lower edge of the stomach part or below the receiving space.
  • the hip belt is preferably made of a relatively stiff material and is padded on the inside and can transfer the load acting on the abdominal part to the wearer's hips so that the wearer's shoulders can be relieved.
  • the stomach part can be made more rigid in order to improve the load transfer to the hip belt.
  • the hip belt can be designed to be removable so that the carrying device can be used without a hip belt, for example, for small or light children.
  • the connection can, for example, have a Velcro fastener or a zipper to enable the hip belt to be fastened quickly and securely.
  • the hip belt can have a protruding seat flap which delimits the receiving space at the bottom.
  • the flap preferably stands away from the wearer and forms a seating aid on which the child can sit in the sling.
  • the sling rests on the seat flap, so that the sling and the seat flap form the lower limit of the receiving space.
  • the seat flap can be made of a relatively stiff material and connected to the hip belt, so that a stable seat is provided for the child. If the child sits on the seat flap, reliable load transfer to the hip belt is guaranteed, so that the shoulder of the wearer is relieved.
  • the shoulder straps are, for example, each connected with an upper end to an upper edge of the stomach part and with a lower end to a lower edge and / or a side edge of the stomach part, in particular in the area of the lateral connection points.
  • the upper and / or the lower ends are releasably connected to the stomach part.
  • the shoulder straps can be detachable, for example, so that the carrying system can be easily put on.
  • the shoulder straps can, for example, be sewn on one side and only be detachable at one end.
  • a back element can be provided that connects the shoulder straps to one another.
  • a back element can hold the shoulder straps in a desired position so that, for example, the shoulder straps are prevented from slipping off the shoulders.
  • the shoulder straps can cross one another in the area of the back element.
  • the shoulder straps are connected to one another at at least one point along their length so that an opening is defined for the head of a wearer.
  • the carrying device can be held on the neck of the carrying adult while the toddler is inserted into the receiving space.
  • the back element is preferably designed so that the opening for the head can be adapted to the wearer.
  • Side flaps can be provided on the belly part, which can be connected to the back part, the connections being in particular detachable and / or adjustable in length.
  • the side flaps allow the carrying system to be better adapted to the wearer's anatomy.
  • the lateral connection points can be provided on the side flaps, which enables better adjustment of the tension of the sling. The sling can be pulled further around the person carrying it, thereby avoiding gaps within the receiving space.
  • FIG 1 a carrying device 10 for a baby or an infant is shown.
  • the carrying device 10 has a carrying system 12 and a carrying sling 14, which is connected to the carrying system in such a way that a receiving space 18 is formed between the carrying system 12 or a belly part 16 of the carrying system 12, which is explained in detail below, and the sling 14.

  • the length of the receiving space 18 can also be adapted to the size of the child.
  • a connection point 34 lying further down is selected so that the child sits further down.
  • an upper connection point 34 can be selected, whereby the child sits higher.
  • connection points 34 each have a loop tape 88 of a Velcro fastener and two recesses 90 which are offset in the vertical direction to the loop tape 88.
  • the connection points 34 are arranged, for example, between two webs 92 and the fleece strips are arranged on a second web 94 lying between them.
  • the back of the second web 94 has a continuous loop tape 96 (see Figure 11b ).
  • a hook tape 98 of a Velcro fastener which corresponds to the loop tape 88, is provided on the sling 14. Furthermore, two Velcro straps 100 are provided, on the rear side of which a hook tape 102 is also provided.
  • connection point 34 After selecting the connection point 34, the hook tape 98 is applied to the loop tape 88 of this connection point.
  • the Velcro straps 100 are then passed through the recesses 90 and fixed with the hook tape 102 on the back of the loop tape 96.
  • This connection offers a secure connection of the sling 14 to the belly part, which, however, can be easily released and closed again by a carrier in order to adjust the sling 14.
