Definitions
- This invention relates to a packaging sleeve for a beverage can.
- Modern beverage cans consist of a one-piece, cylindrical container made of aluminum or tinplate and a perennialfalzten cover made of aluminum, along its edge forms a folded up by the Auffalzung, upstanding edge.
- In the lid is formed by a predetermined breaking point in the form of a scored by a weakened line around an opening area.
- the lid is also equipped with a riveted metal tab, which as a built-in can opener by lifting the opening area, for example, a teardrop shape by leveraging pushes into the can interior, thus creating a pouring or drinking opening.
- the most common can sizes in Europe are 250ml, 330ml and 500ml, rarely a full liter. The 250ml can is the most common worldwide. It is produced annually in several billion doses.
- Party kegs are also available with integrated carbonator with carbonic acid storage, so that the beer keeps fresh for several weeks after tapping.
- the carbon dioxide also serves as a propellant for the integrated dispensing system.
- Beverage cans must have an internal pressure resistance of 6.2 bar. They have a security reserve due to the inward arched floor. Before a can burst, the bottom bulges outward, increasing the volume, which limits the pressure.
- a packaging sleeve for beverage cans which supports the cold or keeping warm a beverage in the beverage can, which provides a heavily insulated heat transfer from the hand to the inside of the can while holding the beverage can in his hand and Ergonomically more pleasant to hold than a soda can.
- the packaging sleeve and its outer contour should be variable executable to characterize or even personalize the packaging sleeve.
- a film should be aufschrumpfbar, and they should include a sealing lid part, over which the beverage can content via a reclosable drinking spout is ergonomically comfortable erinkable than directly from the beverage can.
- This packaging sleeve should be as inexpensive to produce and after use, the can should be ejected down or pulled out of the packaging sleeve, for reuse of the packaging sleeve.
- a packaging sleeve for a beverage can to be equipped of 250ml, 330ml, 500ml or more content, as a disposable or reusable packaging wrapper, including a pipe section which is at least half the length of the beverage can to be equipped, and at one end of a lid part is closed, wherein the lid part along its edge on its inside around the circumference scattered, downwardly open groove elements or sections or an all-round downwardly open groove ausformt, with which groove elements or sections or with which groove he firmly seated by means of a to the opening of the beverage can to be formed integrally formed on the lid part and then to the lid pressing lip is slipped over the upwardly projecting folded upper edge of the beverage can to be equipped, and wherein the lid forms a drinking spout.
- FIG. 1 shows an advantageous embodiment of the packaging sleeve 1. It consists of plastic and is produced in a blow or spray process. It should be noted in advance that this packaging sleeve 1 can serve in principle as a disposable packaging sleeve or as a reusable packaging sleeve. For reusable packaging pods you will probably provide somewhat thicker wall thicknesses in order to give the product as a packaging wrapper more stability and durability.
- the packaging sleeve 1 is shown here in a longitudinal section along its longitudinal axis. At its upper end, it forms a hemispherical or dome-shaped cover part 4, which forms a spout 10 as a drinking spout on one side.
- This Drinking spout 10 can be sealed liquid-tight with a pin or a cap.
- this is a flat lid 11, which fits in a form-fitting manner on the drinking spout 10, and the lower part of which then protrudes into the interior of the drinking spout 10 a piece-wide.
- This cover 11 is integrally connected to a securing band with the cover part 4. In a variant, it may be welded separately on the outside of the lid part 4.
- this packaging sleeve 1 Down the packaging sleeve 1 forms a pipe section 3 with here varying diameter.
- this packaging sleeve 1 in the lowermost region 14 has the largest diameter. Its wall is uniformly strong and the diameter is then tapered towards the central region 22 by a few millimeters, and then be widened upwards again in the region 18, so that an apex 23 is formed, from which the wall merges into the dome-shaped cover part 4 , In the lower edge region 14 can be seen on the inside of bulges or towards the center projecting ribs 15 with the shape of an outer circle segment.
- ribs or inward bulges are intended to be supported on the can wall of an in-line beverage can, thereby centering the can inside the packaging sleeve 1, especially if an air jacket is to be created anywhere between the packaging sleeve 1 and beverage can for thermal insulation ,
- a recess 17 At the bottom of the packaging sleeve 1 can be seen a recess 17.
- a similar indentation is located diametrically on the opposite side of the lower edge region.
- a circumferential downwardly open groove 8 Within the groove a downwardly projecting rubber elastic sealing lip 13 is formed, which tapers downwardly and therefore there is soft and elastic.
- this packaging sleeve 1 is slipped over a standing beverage can from above, whereby its groove 8 is slipped over the resulting from the unfolding of the beverage can lid Umkrempelung and clicks on this.
- the groove is slightly tapered on its outer side at the entrance, so that a circumferential barb ring is formed. The packaging sleeve 1 is held firmly on the beverage can after overcoming this barb-ring and this can be held on the packaging sleeve 1, without the beverage can after Fills out below.
- the beverage can Before slipping the packaging sleeve 1, the beverage can is opened in a conventional manner. After slipping can be drunk ergonomically pleasant directly from the packaging sleeve 1 on the mouth shaped shaped drinking spout 10. The body heat of the hand is not transmitted directly to the can, but the packaging sleeve 1 insulates the heat transfer. If the packaging sleeve 1 is slipped on a closed beverage can and the beverage can is sold in this presentation, it is first stripped up from the beverage can, the closure is opened and then the packaging sleeve 1 is put over the can again - done.
- the packaging sleeve 1 seen in a longitudinal section can form a contour with in the lower end of a bulge 21, which is initially performed in the bottom portion of the box 2 to 5mm radially outward and then over a bow in a over 15% to 25% of the cans or pipe section height extending taper 22 is guided to the can outer wall. Thereafter, another arch closes outwards again, so that a second indentation 18 with an apex 23 is formed in a range of approximately 15 to 25% of the can height measured from its upper edge. The subsequent arc from the apex 23 merges into the cover part 4, which forms a spherical cap or spherical cap and from which the drinking nozzle 10 protrudes.
- FIG. 2 shows the packaging sleeve as after FIG. 1 shown in a longitudinal section, but in a perspective view obliquely from above.
- the packaging sleeve 1 is opposite to the illustration in FIG FIG. 1 shown slightly rotated to the right about its longitudinal axis. This gives the view of the design of the ribs in the lower area free and also the design of the liquid-tight lid part 4 is better recognizable.
- FIG. 3 Separately shows a section of an alternatively designed cover part 4.
- spaced apart groove elements 7 in the form of groove portions 7 which extend around a certain part of the circumference.
- Such groove elements 7 extend for example by two or more mm along the circumference. They serve only to mechanically and reliably connect the packaging sleeve with the can mechanically.
- an all-round rubber-elastic sealing lip Continue towards the center of the cover part 4 and not shown here extending in the axial direction on the cover part 4 downwardly formed an all-round rubber-elastic sealing lip. When placing the packaging sleeve by means of the groove elements or groove sections on the can, this sealing lip seals the space inside the sealing lip against the outside.
- the packing sleeve 1 is as after FIG. 1 shown in a longitudinal section when it has been slipped over a beverage can 2 from above. Accordingly, one recognizes in its interior the beverage can 2 with its upper edge 9 in the form of a common Umkrempelung the lid edge and edge of the can. The groove 8 on the cover part was thereby slipped over this edge 9 and snapped it, so now the beverage can 1, although the packaging sleeve 1 is open at the bottom, is held securely in it when the packaging sleeve 1 lifted from a base together with the beverage can 2 becomes. If the beverage can 2 was previously opened, so it can be drunk after slipping the packaging sleeve 1 out of her.
- the packaging sleeve 1 has the advantage that it is first pleasant to touch as a can, secondly that it acts through the air jacket formed around the can 2 thermally insulating and thus keeps the drink cool, and thirdly that the drink from this packaging sleeve 1 due to mouth-shaped drinking nozzle 10 is much more pleasant than drinking directly from the beverage can. 2
- FIG. 5 shows the packaging sleeve 1 as after FIG. 4 in a longitudinal section, with the in-beverage can 2, but in a perspective view obliquely from above, and the packaging sleeve 1 with the beverage can 2 opposite thereto FIG. 4 rotated slightly to the right about its longitudinal axis.
- the beverage can 2 has a conventional closure 16 which, after pivoting the tab formed thereon, folds the lid 16 downwardly in the weakened area, and after pivoting the tab, the can is opened, as is known to anyone.
- FIG. 6 shows this empty packaging sleeve 1 shown in an outline, and in FIG. 7 it is shown seen from above, with the drinking nozzle 10 and the associated with a security tape held cap 11.
- Die FIG. 8 shows the packaging sleeve 1 in a view from below, seen in the inside 6 of the cover part 4 inside.
- radial webs 31 which can be provided when the sleeve forms strong lateral bulges, so that the shape of the packaging sleeve 1 becomes more stable. These webs thus serve on the one hand as reinforcing struts, on the other hand, but also for secure clamping of the can by lend the packaging sleeve a rich clamping fit.
- Such a packaging sleeve 1 offers many attractive design options to customize the drinks and their cans or even personalize.
- a packaging sleeve 1 can of course be reused several times or as often as desired, or it can also be designed and used as a disposable packaging casing. It can be made to the taste of the audience a variety of variants, in many three-dimensional shapes, printed or equipped with a printed shrink tube. Such is printed, pulled by machine over the packaging sleeve 1 and then shrunk by heat around its contour - a known method in principle.
- Next packaging tubes 1 can be made of clear transparent plastic or made of opaque transparent plastic.
- the material of the packaging sleeve 1 can also be arbitrarily strukuriert, perforated, provided with any shaped recesses or merely equipped with decorative structural depressions on the outside.
- FIG. 9 another variant of an empty packaging sleeve 1 is shown, namely a cylindrical, in a longitudinal section.
- the FIG. 10 shows this packaging sleeve 1 slipped over a beverage can and again shown in a longitudinal section, but shown in a perspective view.
- the groove on the lid part snapped when slipping over the beverage can 2 at the Umkrempelungsrand on top of the can and the sealing lip creates a dense space above the can lid.
- FIGS. 9 to 11 has the execution of the FIGS. 12 and 13 a pressure cam 26 on the cover part 4.
- the lid part 4 is this designed elastically yielding.
- this embodiment shown here is to equip the beverage can from the beginning with the same stuffed packaging sleeves 1.
- This embodiment with a pressure cam is preferably used in transparent packaging sleeves, because then the pressure cams is visible and when placing the packaging sleeve on the can of pressure cams precisely over the opening area, that can be placed within the weakened breaking point.
- FIG. 13 this packaging sleeve 1 and the inner box 2 is shown in an elevation, with the packaging sleeve 1 in a longitudinal section.
- FIG. 16 shows this packaging sleeve with flat lid part and obliquely upwardly guided drinking nozzle 10 in an elevation, and in FIG. 17 it is shown in a view from below on the inside of the lid part, while the FIG. 18 shows a view from above.
- FIG. 19 it is first shown in an outline, in FIG. 20 in a view from below and in FIG. 21 seen from above.
- a round lid 33 under which a button battery hides.
- a protective grid 32 for a sound chip with a loudspeaker arranged underneath can be seen.
- FIG. 22 sees inside the outside of the dome-shaped cover part 4, a button battery 30, a sound chip 29 with speaker and a light-emitting diode LED 28 is integrated, these components are electrically connected to each other.
- the packaging sleeve 1 can have one or even a plurality, indeed a whole number of built-in LEDs which emit light to the outside and which are supplied with energy by a button battery 30 which can be inserted inside the packaging sleeve 1 or in the cover part 4.
- Actuation or activation of the sound chip 29 or the LED's 28 can be triggered by a pull tab, a light sensor or a push / pull button or a slider or knob. In another variant, the activation can be triggered by an acceleration sensor.
- the voltage source may also be a piezoelectric crystal, which is housed inside the packaging sleeve. As soon as the piezoelectric crystal experiences a compressive force due to external pressure on the packaging sleeve, it releases a voltage sufficient to make an LED light up or to put a sound card into operation.
- This design is in FIG. 23 still in a longitudinal section of the packaging sleeve, but now shown with in-lying beverage can, and in FIG. 24 the same is shown in an outline.
- the packaging sleeve can be equipped only with a sound chip with integrated power storage, as those known in greeting cards are known.
- the sound is triggered, for example, by means of a pull tab, a light sensor, a push / pull button or even an acceleration sensor. If a sound chip with one or more LEDs combined installed and triggered by an acceleration sensor, so the packaging sleeve can be realized so that each collision when toasting before drinking a multi-second toast or any slogan sounds and additional LED's come on.
- the packaging sleeve is designed as a teddy bear 25, wherein the cover part 4 is shaped as a bear head 24, and at the back of the drinking nozzle 10 is arranged.
- the snout of the bear can be designed as a drinking spout 10.
- the contour of the packaging sleeve 1 can basically be formed as a three-dimensional body, for example, of an animal body 19, which with its inside on at least three different levels, the beverage can 2 to be overturned adjacent fitting, so that the packaging sleeve 1 sits snugly on the can body.
- the associated cover part 4 may be formed as animal head 20 for three-dimensional animal body 19.
- FIG. 26 shows the longitudinal section of the shaped as a teddy bear packaging sleeve in a perspective view. It can be seen the groove 8 for hooking on the folded upper edge of a beverage can and also the downwardly projecting rubber lip 13 for the seal.
- This packaging sleeve 1 is again shown in a longitudinal section, but now slipped over a beverage can 2, in perspective view, and in FIG. 28 you can see the whole in an outline.
- the groove 8 clicked on the folded upper edge 9 of the can lid 16 and the sealing lip 13 is pressed against the can lid 16 and seals the interior of the lid part 4 from the outside.
- FIG. 27 shows the longitudinal section of the shaped as a teddy bear packaging sleeve in a perspective view. It can be seen the groove 8 for hooking on the folded upper edge of a beverage can and also the downwardly projecting rubber lip 13 for the seal.

- a conventional can closure 12 with lying before this weakened area 27, which is pressed.
- FIG. 45 shows this packaging sleeve 1 with its lid part 4 with drinking nozzle 10 with beverage can enclosed therein perspective view obliquely from above, with a view of the push button 36, while right next to the FIG. 46 the packaging sleeve in the same view shows, but without inserted release slide with push button. Therefore, here the cross slot 45 is visible, in which the release slide with its cross-shaped profile can be inserted, wherein he finally hooks the hook 40 at the free ends of the snap ring 35.
- the drinking nozzle with a pin, a cap, with or without thread, or a flat lid can be made liquid-tight lockable, depending on design choice and technical suitability.
- the packaging sleeve can be easily separated from the beverage can again, it can simply be pressed together with the beverage can after being emptied diametrically. After being released, the packaging sleeve, due to its elasticity, returns to its original shape while the aluminum can remains compressed. Now it can be removed from the bottom of the packaging sleeve by grasping with the thumb and the index and middle fingers into the packaging sleeve and around the crushed can and grab the can. With the other hand you hold the packaging sleeve and can now pull the crushed can with little force from the packaging sleeve.
- the packaging sleeve may have at its lower edge two diametrically opposed recesses, so that the can there be taken from the outside and strong down from the top holding groove 8 of the packaging sleeve 1 and then completely out of the packaging sleeve 1 can be pulled out as described earlier.

The most common can sizes in Europe are 250ml, 330ml and 500ml, rarely a full liter. The 250ml can is the most common worldwide. It is produced annually in several billion doses.
In addition, there are five-liter cans for beer with a tap, which are marketed as party kegs . Party kegs are also available with integrated carbonator with carbonic acid storage, so that the beer keeps fresh for several weeks after tapping. The carbon dioxide also serves as a propellant for the integrated dispensing system.
Beverage cans must have an internal pressure resistance of 6.2 bar. They have a security reserve due to the inward arched floor. Before a can burst, the bottom bulges outward, increasing the volume, which limits the pressure.
In these beverage cans, it is disadvantageous that they do not keep a cool drink cool. Once a soda can is removed from a refrigerator and a Stops for a long time or is taken for example in a bag or a backpack, their content heats up. The thermal insulation of the tin made of aluminum or tinplate is extremely low. Next, such a conventional beverage can is customizable only by their specific imprint. The actual printing is complex and it can not be changed very quickly and inexpensively to another subject. Finally, the drinking from a conventional beverage can is not particularly pleasant, because the opening is below the upper edge of the fold and is sharp-edged and therefore anything other than bite shaped. Once opened, a beverage can is not re-closable. If it falls over, the contents are spilled.
Against this background, it is the object of this invention to provide a packaging sleeve for beverage cans, which supports the cold or keeping warm a beverage in the beverage can, which provides a heavily insulated heat transfer from the hand to the inside of the can while holding the beverage can in his hand and Ergonomically more pleasant to hold than a soda can. The packaging sleeve and its outer contour should be variable executable to characterize or even personalize the packaging sleeve. On this packaging sleeve, a film should be aufschrumpfbar, and they should include a sealing lid part, over which the beverage can content via a reclosable drinking spout is ergonomically comfortable erinkable than directly from the beverage can. This packaging sleeve should be as inexpensive to produce and after use, the can should be ejected down or pulled out of the packaging sleeve, for reuse of the packaging sleeve.
This object is achieved by a packaging sleeve for a beverage can to be equipped of 250ml, 330ml, 500ml or more content, as a disposable or reusable packaging wrapper, including a pipe section which is at least half the length of the beverage can to be equipped, and at one end of a lid part is closed, wherein the lid part along its edge on its inside around the circumference scattered, downwardly open groove elements or sections or an all-round downwardly open groove ausformt, with which groove elements or sections or with which groove he firmly seated by means of a to the opening of the beverage can to be formed integrally formed on the lid part and then to the lid pressing lip is slipped over the upwardly projecting folded upper edge of the beverage can to be equipped, and wherein the lid forms a drinking spout.
Various embodiments of this packaging sleeve are illustrated in the drawings as an example and described in the following description with reference to these drawings and their respective functions will be explained.

The
Above, on the inside of the cover part of this forms in the
In detail, the

Such a

In another embodiment, the packaging sleeve can be equipped only with a sound chip with integrated power storage, as those known in greeting cards are known. The sound is triggered, for example, by means of a pull tab, a light sensor, a push / pull button or even an acceleration sensor. If a sound chip with one or more LEDs combined installed and triggered by an acceleration sensor, so the packaging sleeve can be realized so that each collision when toasting before drinking a multi-second toast or any slogan sounds and additional LED's come on.

All these presented variants and forms of the packaging sleeve as well as many more can be equipped with additional details. For example, the drinking nozzle with a pin, a cap, with or without thread, or a flat lid can be made liquid-tight lockable, depending on design choice and technical suitability.
So that the packaging sleeve can be easily separated from the beverage can again, it can simply be pressed together with the beverage can after being emptied diametrically.
In another variant, the packaging sleeve may have at its lower edge two diametrically opposed recesses, so that the can there be taken from the outside and strong down from the
