  • Example 1 fulfilled all objectives discussed above (see i)-xi)) compared to a coding with ink.
  • Moisture uptake measurements were carried out in SPS 1 ⁇ (ProUmid GmbH, Germany). Bouillon tablets of 10 gr and a water activity of 0.35 were placed in a 52 mm pan and exposed to controlled temperature of 25 °C and relative humidity of 75 % for 10 days. Weight of the samples was automatically monitored and moisture uptake was measured in mg/tablet after 5 and 10 days. Measurements were carried out in duplicate.
  • Examples 2.1 and 2.2 have been laser coded before wrapping the bouillon tablet. All examples will result in a shelf stable product for several months (at least 3 months). Nevertheless as can be shown within example 2.1 (laser coded within an overlapping area) the moisture uptake is only the half compared to example 2.2 (laser coded within a non-overlapping area) and is similar to a wrapped bouillon tablet without any laser coding. Therefore example 2.1 guarantees the same shelf-life of a laser coded bouillon tablet as a not laser coded bouillon tablet.

Claims (11)

  1. Verfahren zum Codieren einer falteneingeschlagenen Lebensmittelkonzentrattablette, umfassend die Schritte:
    a) erstes Laserabtragen eines Codes auf einem Verpackungsmaterial, wobei das Verpackungsmaterial eine bedruckte Kunststofffolie und/oder eine bedruckte Papierfolie umfasst;
    b) dann falteneinschlagen der Tablette mit dem lasercodierten Verpackungsmaterial.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Verpackungsmaterial eine bedruckte metallisierte Kunststofffolie umfasst.
  3. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 2, wobei die Kunststofffolie orientiertes Polypropylen (OPP), orientiertes Polyethylen (OPE) oder Polyethylenterephthalat (PET) oder eine Kombination davon umfasst.
  4. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei der Lasercode (3) nach dem Falteneinschlagen sichtbar an einem überlappenden Verpackungsbereich (2) angeordnet ist.
  5. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, wobei die falteneingeschlagene Lebensmittelkonzentrattablette aus einer/einem umschlagfalten- (4), bodenfalten- (6) oder seitenfalteneingeschlagenen (1) Lebensmittelkonzentrattablette oder Lebensmittelkonzentratwürfel (5) besteht.
  6. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei die falteneingeschlagene Lebensmittelkonzentrattablette eine seitenfalteneingeschlagene (1) Lebensmittelkonzentrattablette ist.
  7. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, wobei die Lebensmittelkonzentrattablette eine Bouillon- oder Gewürztablette ist.
  8. Lasercodierte, falteneingeschlagene Lebensmittelkonzentrattablette, wobei die Lebensmittelkonzentrattablette mit einem Verpackungsmaterial falteneingeschlagen ist, wobei das Verpackungsmaterial eine bedruckte metallisierte Kunststofffolie und/oder bedruckte Papierfolie umfasst und wobei eine Codierung durch Laserablation auf diesem Verpackungsmaterial erfolgt.
  9. Lasercodierte, falteneingeschlagene Lebensmittelkonzentrattablette nach Anspruch 8, wobei die Kunststofffolie orientiertes Polypropylen (OPP), orientiertes Polyethylen (OPE) oder Polyethylenterephthalat (PET) oder eine Kombination davon umfasst.
  10. Lasercodierte, falteneingeschlagene Lebensmittelkonzentrattablette nach einem der Ansprüche 8 bis 9, wobei die Lasercodierung (3) sichtbar an einem überlappenden Verpackungsbereich (2) angeordnet ist.
  11. Lasercodierte, falteneingeschlagene Lebensmittelkonzentrattablette nach einem der Ansprüche 8 bis 10, wobei die Lebensmittelkonzentrattablette eine Bouillon- oder Gewürztablette ist.
