Claims (13)

  1. Sensor apparatus (101) for monitoring an occupancy state of a parking space of a car park for motor vehicles, comprising:

    - a first electrical energy store (105) for supplying electrical energy to the at least one parking space sensor (103),
    - wherein a first circuit (107) is formed, in which the at least one parking space sensor (103) and the first electrical energy store (105) are connected, characterized in that the sensor apparatus (101) additionally comprises:
    - a detection device (109) for detecting an interruption in the first circuit (107),
    - a communication interface (111) connected into a second circuit (115) for transmitting a signal via a communication network in the case of a detected interruption in the first circuit (107), wherein the signal comprises the information that the first circuit (107) is interrupted,
    - wherein a second electrical energy store (113) for supplying electrical energy to the communication interface (111) is connected in the second circuit (115).
  2. Sensor apparatus (101) according to Claim 1, wherein a housing comprising a housing cover is provided, in which housing the at least one parking space sensor (103) is arranged.
  3. Sensor apparatus (101) according to Claim 2, wherein the first circuit (107) comprises a mechanical switch that can be actuated by means of the housing cover such that the switch is closed when the housing cover is closed and is open when the housing cover is open.
  4. Sensor apparatus (101) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the detection device (109) comprises a current measurement device for measuring an electric current flowing through the first circuit (107) and/or a voltage measurement device for measuring a voltage applied to the at least one parking space sensor (103) .
  7. Sensor apparatus (101) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the communication interface (111) is integrated into the at least one parking space sensor (103).
  8. Sensor apparatus (101) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the at least one parking space sensor (103) is also connected in the second circuit (115).
  9. Sensor apparatus (101) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the second electrical energy store (113) is integrated into the at least one parking space sensor (103).
  10. Method for monitoring an occupancy state of a parking space of a car park for motor vehicles using the sensor apparatus (101) according to one of the preceding claims, comprising the following steps:
    - monitoring (201) the occupancy state of the parking space by means of the at least one parking space sensor (103),
    - upon detection (203) of an interruption in the first circuit (107) by means of the detection device (109), transmitting (205) a signal by means of the communication interface (111) via the communication network, wherein the signal comprises the information that the first circuit (107) is interrupted.
  11. Method according to Claim 10, wherein a car park management system initiates one or more actions in response to reception of the signal by means of the car park management system.
  12. Car park (301) for motor vehicles, comprising at least one parking space (303) and at least one sensor apparatus (101) according to one of Claims 1 to 9 associated with the parking space (303).
  13. Car park (301) according to Claim 12, wherein the at least one sensor apparatus (101) is arranged on a or in the ground (305) of the at least one parking space (303).
