Claims (10)
- Verfahren zum Ausgeben allgemeiner Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen in einem Fahrzeug, Folgendes umfassend:Empfangen von Funksignalen einschließlich Programmidentifikations(PI)-Codes von mehreren Funkstationen mittels eines im Fahrzeug installierten Funkempfängers;Bestimmen eines Landes, in dem das Fahrzeug fährt, basierend auf den empfangenen PI-Codes; undBestimmen und Ausgeben der allgemeinen Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen, die in dem bestimmten Land gültig sind; und wobeidas Verfahren dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass das Bestimmen des Landes entweder auf a) statistischen Messungen der PI-Codes der von den mehreren Funkstationen empfangenen Funksignale oder auf b) Stärken der Funksignale, die die durch den Funkempfänger empfangenen PI-Codes beinhalten, basiert.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei die allgemeinen Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen verschiedener Klassen von Wegen und Straßen und/oder Städten und Dörfern umfassen.
- Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Bestimmen des Landes und/oder das Bestimmen der allgemeinen Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen das Nachschlagen des Landes und/oder der allgemeinen Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen in einer in einer Datenbank gespeicherten Nachschlagetabelle umfasst.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei das Bestimmen des Landes auf einer Änderung von PI-Codes basiert, die während des Empfangs von Funksignalen von einer einzelnen Funkstation mit konstanter Empfangsfrequenz auftritt.
- Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Ausgeben der allgemeinen Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen das Anzeigen der allgemeinen Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen auf einer Anzeigeeinrichtung des Funkempfängers umfasst.
- Computerprogramm, umfassend Anweisungen, die, wenn das Programm durch einen Computer ausgeführt wird, den Computer veranlassen, die Schritte des Verfahrens nach einem der Ansprüche 1-5 auszuführen.
- Vorrichtung, die in einem Fahrzeug, insbesondere einem Automobil, installiert ist, Folgendes umfassend:einen Funkempfänger, der für das Empfangen von Funksignalen von mehreren Funkstationen konfiguriert ist, wobei die Funksignale Programmidentifikations(PI)-Codes beinhalten;einen Prozessor, der konfiguriert ist, um ein Land zu bestimmen, in dem das Fahrzeug basierend auf den empfangenen PI-Codes fährt, und um allgemeine Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen zu bestimmen, die in dem bestimmten Land gültig sind; undAusgabemittel, die durch den Prozessor gesteuert werden und zum Ausgeben der bestimmten allgemeinen Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen konfiguriert sind; und wobeidie Vorrichtung dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass der Prozessor entweder a) zum Bestimmen des Landes basierend auf statistischen Messungen der PI-Codes der von den mehreren Funkstationen empfangenen Funksignale oder b) zum Bestimmen der Stärken der Funksignale beinhaltend die PI-Codes und zum Bestimmen des Landes basierend auf den Stärken der Funksignale konfiguriert ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7, wobei die allgemeinen Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen verschiedener Klassen von Wegen und Straßen und/oder Städten und Dörfern umfassen.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7 oder 8, ferner umfassend eine Datenbank und wobei der Prozessor zum Bestimmen des Landes und/oder zum Bestimmen der allgemeinen Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen durch Nachschlagen des Landes und/oder der allgemeinen Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen in einer in der Datenbank gespeicherten Nachschlagetabelle konfiguriert ist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 7 bis 9, wobei der Prozessor zum Bestimmen des Landes basierend auf einer Änderung von PI-Codes konfiguriert ist, die während des Empfangs von Funksignalen von einer einzelnen Funkstation mit konstanter Empfangsfrequenz durch den Funkempfänger auftritt.
