Description

The invention relates to a roller shutter box with a preferably prism-shaped housing, wherein a bar is arranged along at least one edge of the housing, which has at least one first, non-operationally releasable connection to a first housing plate and at least one second, operationally releasable connection to a second housing plate connected is.

In the EP 2 378 051 B1 describes a top-mounted roller shutter box with a triangular strip, which can be arranged in two different ways in the roller shutter box. As a result, an inspection flap can be arranged either on the adjacent lower or side roller shutter wall. However, this embodiment has the disadvantage that, when the strip is thermally expanded or contracted, tensions can arise between the elements of the roller shutter box, or the inspection flap cannot be opened or closed only very poorly. In addition, the roller shutter boxes can be difficult to close or open due to the manufacturing tolerances of the individual parts.

The object of the present invention is thus to avoid the disadvantages described and to provide a roller shutter box in which the compensation of thermal expansion is better possible.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the strip consists of at least a first part and a second part due to a non-one-piece construction, and the first connection between the first housing plate and the first part and the second connection between the second housing plate and the second part are received becomes.

By dividing the bar into at least two parts, that is to say through a non-one-piece construction of the bar, manufacturing tolerances and size changes can be compensated for and stresses can be prevented, since the parts are only slightly movable with respect to one another. Of course, the connection between the parts should be designed so that they provide sufficient stability for the roller shutter box. But simply because of the natural manufacturing tolerance of the parts, a higher degree of movement is achieved than with a one-piece bar. The exact measure of the possibility of movement can be adjusted by the execution of the connection between the parts.

As a rule, the housing plates are extruded plastic plates which have a certain profile. Lasts are usually also elongated and have a uniform profile, but are usually made of metal. Such strips can, but do not have to extend over a large part or the entire length of the housing plates. If necessary, two or more strips can also be arranged one behind the other.

It is particularly advantageous if the second housing plate is designed as an inspection flap. As a result, the roller shutter box can be maintained or repaired in a wall or the like, even when it is already installed. Inspection flaps are usually opened by inserting a flat object, such as a spatula, into the thin gap between the first and second housing plates and then prying movements. It can also be advantageous to design the first housing plate as an inspection flap or both housing plates as an inspection flap.

It is particularly advantageous if both the first and the second housing plate are designed such that they can serve as an inspection flap with a suitable arrangement of the strip. By orienting the bar, it can thus be decided during assembly, or at a later point in time after dismantling the roller shutter box, which housing plate takes on the function of an inspection flap. This also enables different roller shutter boxes to be assembled with a set of roller shutter box elements.

Depending on the embodiment, the strip can remain on the non-movable first housing plate, which is not used as an inspection flap, after opening the inspection flap, or can be moved as part of the inspection flap with the movable first housing plate, which is used as an inspection flap.

In an advantageous embodiment, the first part can be positively connected to the second part. On the one hand, this ensures high mechanical stability, but the benefits of compensating for component tolerances are not lost. In principle, frictional or non-positive connections, for example with a connection made of flexible silicone or another suitable compound, are also conceivable. However, positive connections offer a particularly high durability and tensile strength, which means that the structure is not affected by loosening the second connection several times. The connection of the first and second parts does not have to be exclusively form-fitting, an additional force-fitting component can also be provided, for example by introducing adhesive into the areas with a form-fitting connection.

If the first part has at least one receiving opening into which the second part can be inserted, this is particularly advantageous, since a connection can be established by inserting the essentially elongated parts, which exists over the entire length of the strip. This is particularly advantageous if this connection positively prevents the first part and the second part from being separable from one another in the installed state.

In a preferred embodiment, all parts of the bar are designed as metallic profiles, which makes them easy and inexpensive to manufacture, and thus, if desired, enables a first connection and a second connection over the entire length of the bar. In principle, however, other materials are also conceivable, for example a stable plastic, glass or carbon fiber and the like.

In a particularly preferred embodiment, the second part has at least one, preferably three holding elements, wherein in the pushed-in state from the second part into the first part, at least the holding elements of the second part are located inside the receiving opening and preferably touch the walls of the receiving opening. Such an embodiment enables a very stable form-fitting connection to be achieved, but at the same time the bar can be moved to a small extent. Depending on the dimensions of the holding elements, the possibility of movement can be selected differently. If the holding elements touch the walls of the receiving opening, the degrees of freedom of movement can also be reduced. It is not necessary for all of the holding elements to touch the walls. It can also be provided that they only touch the walls in certain positions within the range of motion of the second part in relation to the first part.

If the first part has a fixing element with a web and a belt that is essentially normal to the web, and the second part has a latching element with a web and an at least partially rounded holding head, then a first connection that cannot be released during operation can be carried out in a simple manner a second, operationally releasable connection to the first or second housing plate are made. A prerequisite for this is the arrangement of suitable connecting sections on the first or second housing plate, which can be connected to the fixing element or latching element. In already known embodiments, such connecting sections usually have openings into which the fixing element can be inserted or the latching element can snap into place. The belt should be designed in such a way that it cannot be released from the first housing plate by pulling in the direction of the second housing plate or in the opposite direction, or only by applying very high force, in the connected state with the first housing plate. The fixing element must by pushing it into the first housing plate, which is only possible in the disassembled state. In the assembled state, the housing plates are delimited on the sides by side plates, as a result of which the fixing element can no longer be pushed in as soon as the side plates are arranged on the housing plate. As a result, the first connection cannot be released operationally. The latching element has a similar structure, with the important difference that a holding head is not arranged, but a belt. This can not only be inserted into the openings described, but can snap out or snap in by applying sufficient force. For this, it is particularly advantageous if the holding head is at least partially rounded in order to press open the opening. In particular, the areas that touch the opening during the pressing process should be chamfered.

It is advantageous if the first housing plate has at least one first connecting section and the second housing plate has at least one second connecting section, these being constructed identically. In this case, a similar structure is to be understood as one that enables both the first part and the second part to be connected to the connecting section. This also creates the possibility in a simple manner of using either the first housing plate or the second housing plate as an inspection flap by choosing the arrangement of the strip. This choice can also be changed retrospectively, however, it is usually necessary to disassemble the roller shutter box.

If the first housing plate and the second housing plate have hinges on the side remote from the strip, then both housing plates can be used as inspection flaps. If the second connection is released, either one or the other housing plate can be opened or even removed, if provided, by means of the hinge located on the opposite side of the housing plate. In principle, it is also possible to use both housing plates as inspection flaps at the same time, but for structural reasons it is usually more visually appealing and technically sufficient to opt for a housing plate as an inspection flap.

In order to achieve sufficient stability of the roller shutter box, it is advantageous if the first housing plate is screwed to side plates adjoining it. This also ensures that the first housing plate is connected to the other elements of the roller shutter box in a sufficiently stable manner even during the opening or closing of the second connection. This is particularly important if the first housing plate has hinges on the side remote from the strip and the second housing plate is used as an inspection flap. It is also advantageous if means for screw connections are provided in both the first and second housing plates. This is particularly advantageous if, as described, both housing plates are suitable for serving as an inspection flap. Shortly before assembly, a decision can be made as to which of the housing plates is to be used as an inspection flap and the other to be screwed to the side plates.

A particularly stable embodiment of the first part is achieved if it has an essentially rectangular, preferably square, cross section. The embodiment can fit so well on the sides of the adjacent housing plates. A further advantage also results for embodiments which do not provide an arrangement of the bar inside the roller shutter box, but rather an arrangement on the outside along the outer edge between the first and second housing plates. In such embodiments, outer surfaces of the bar represent outer surfaces of the roller shutter box, which is why an edge-free transition between the outer sides of the housing plates and the outer sides of the bar is desirable. The first parts with a rectangular or square profile are particularly suitable for this.

Fig. 1 shows a detail of a section through a roller shutter box in the assembled state, in which a revision flap is closed, in particular the border area between an extruded first housing plate 3 and an extruded second housing plate 4. The edge shown is in the lower segment of the roller shutter box when it is installed as intended. In this case, the second housing plate 4 is covered by an essentially vertical plate - that is to say essentially parallel to one which may be provided below it Window - and the first housing plate 3 represented by a substantially horizontal plate. The outer sides of the first housing plate 3 and the second housing plate 4 are essentially flat, an extension of the second housing plate forms the outer edge 5 visible from the outside. The first housing plate 3 has a first connecting section 31 and the second housing plate 4 has a second connecting section 41, which are of the same type are built up. Both have a cavity 7, an opening being delimited by two tongues 8.

In addition, a first part 1 and a second part 2 are arranged inside the roller shutter box, which together form a strip.

The in Fig. 3 The first part 1, shown in more detail, has a short web 101 and a strap 102 - which together form a fixing element - the strap 102 being designed so wide that it extends almost over the entire length of the tongues 8. This creates a very stable connection, which can only be released by pushing apart the first part 1 and the first housing plate 3 without destruction. This ensures that this connection is no longer operationally detachable, since in the assembled state the spreading apart is prevented by side plates arranged on the sides of the first housing plate 3. The first part 1 has a rectangular, almost square cross section, a receiving opening 103 having a narrowed access gap 104 being provided. The walls of the rectangular base body are essentially parallel, or normal to the sides of the first housing plate 3 or second housing plate 4 in the area of the strip and thus enable a good connection to the latter.

The in Fig. 4 The second part 2, shown in more detail, has a longer web 201 than the first part 1, as well as a holding head 202, which together with the web 201 form the latching element. The holding head 202 has an approximately deltoid cross-section, the edges being rounded. Two jaw strips 203 protrude slightly beyond the tongues 8, as a result of which a stable but detachable second connection to the second housing plate 4 can be established. As a result, the second housing plate 4 can be used as an inspection flap. The second part 2 has three holding elements 204, which are essentially parallel, or normal to the walls of the rectangular base body of the first part 1. They extend so far into the receiving opening 103 of the first part 1 that they almost touch the adjacent walls. This enables a stable, but still slightly movable connection between the first part 1 and the second part 2. The first part 1 and second part 2 are only through Slide apart in the longitudinal direction, which is also only possible when disassembled. This ensures that the bar cannot be dismantled operationally.

The first housing plate 3 and the second housing plate 4 meet one another near the outer edge 5, a small gap 6 being left free. This serves to open the second housing plate 4 as an inspection flap. For this purpose, an elongated object is generally inserted into the gap 6 and the second connection is released by levering movements. Due to the application of force, the holding head 202 slips through the bent tongues 8 and thus releases the second housing plate. Furthermore, screw holes 9 are also provided on both the first housing plate 3 and on the second housing plate 4, through which both plates can be screwed with side plates arranged on them. In the in Fig. 1 shown configuration, the provision of screw connections of the first housing plate 3 would be advantageous, while the second housing plate 4 should not be screwed.

The arrangement of the bar, as in Fig. 1 shown only shows one configuration option. In Fig. 2 is an alternative arrangement in the same place in the roller shutter box as in Fig. 1 shown, the bar was installed upside down. So that means that the roller shutter box was assembled with the same parts, and only the orientation of the bar is changed. As a result, the first housing plate 3 is represented by an essentially vertical plate - that is to say essentially parallel to a window which may be provided below it - and the second housing plate 4 is represented by an essentially horizontal plate. The second housing plate 4 again acts as an inspection hatch. This shows that with the same parts, the first housing plate 3 and the second housing plate 4 can be represented by different plates only by different arrangement of the strip, and thus the inspection flap can be selected at different positions.

Fig. 5 shows a section through a roller shutter box, in which the strip is installed, with a schematically illustrated roller shutter 21. Both the first housing plate 3 and the second housing plate 3 have hinges 16. The roller shutter box has an upper wall 17 and an outer wall 18, both of which are formed by an extrusion profile. A lower wall 19 is formed on the one hand from an attachment part 20, to which a window can be attached, and the second housing plate 4. In this embodiment, the first housing plate 3 forms the inner wall of the roller shutter box, and in the configuration shown, like the top wall 17, outer wall 18 and attachment part 20, is screwed through the screw holes 9 provided for this purpose, with side walls (not shown) and laterally delimiting the roller shutter box.
