Claims (12)

  1. Bar lock for locking preferably switchgear cabinet doors or similar doors or shutters, consisting of a locking bar (10), which is to be arranged parallel to the door edge, preferably in the bevelled space of the cabinet, and comprises at least one locking part (12) arranged on and supported by the bar lock (10), and consisting of at least one lock holder (15), which can be fastened to the door frame, for receiving in a locking manner the locking part (12) located on the locking bar (10), and comprising an actuation device for longitudinally displacing the locking bar (10) between an open position and a locked position, characterised in that the locking bar (10) is formed of plastics material and a plurality of locking parts (12) are arranged in a predetermined, fixed grid and are formed in one piece with the bar profile.
  2. Bar lock according to claim 1, characterised in that one end of the locking bar (10) is provided with an attachment opening (11) for a further component of the bar lock.
  3. Bar lock according to either claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the locking parts (12) supported by the locking bar (10) are formed in a symmetrical arrangement on both sides of the bar profile.
  4. Bar lock according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that each locking part (12) is in the form of a tablet and has symmetrical shape in relation to the longitudinal and transverse directions of the locking bar (10).
  5. Bar lock according to claim 4, characterised in that the locking part (12) is formed by a tablet-shaped wall (13) enclosing an inner cavity (14).
  6. Bar lock according to anyone of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the locking bar (10), including the locking parts (12) supported thereby, consists of a glass-fibre-reinforced plastics material.
  7. Bar lock according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the bar profile of the locking bar (10) is rectangular.
  8. Bar lock according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the bar profile of the locking bar (10) is circular.
  9. Bar lock according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the bar profile of the locking bar (10) is elliptical.
  10. Bar lock according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the lock holder (15) is U-shaped and comprises projections (18) which are arranged at the free ends of the U-legs (17) thereof and project beyond the locking part (12) located on the locking bar (10), the projections (18) which are to lock into place inwards towards one another forming between them a slot (19) to allow the bar profile of the locking bar (10) to pass therethrough.
  11. Bar lock according to claim 10, characterised in that the lock holder (15) is closed on one of the transverse sides thereof by wall (20) forming a stop for the locking part (12) when the locking bar (10) is displaced longitudinally, the slot (19) which allows the bar profile to pass between the projections (18) continuing into the wall (20).
  12. Bar lock according to either claim 10 or claim 11, characterised in that the lock holder (15) is provided at one end with a hook (21) to engage from behind the edge of a fastening opening formed in the frame profile for the purpose of fasting said lock holder to the frame profile and is provided, at the other end, with a fastening opening (22) for receiving a fastening means (23).
