Claims (11)

  1. Anzeigeeinheit, umfassend:
    - eine Anzeigevorrichtung mit organischen Leuchtdioden (DELo), die mindestens eine DELo (1) mit einem emittierenden Stapel umfasst,
    - ein transparentes, halbtransparentes oder durchscheinendes Substrat (2) mit einer Rückseite, einer Vorderseite und einer Seitenfläche, und
    - ein zu beleuchtendes sekundäres Objekt,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die organische Leuchtdiode DELo auf der Rückseite des Substrats befestigt ist und Licht aussendet, das einerseits von der Vorderseite des Substrats austritt, um eine Anzeige- und/oder Beleuchtungsfunktion sicherzustellen, und das andererseits von der Seitenfläche des Substrats austritt, um das sekundäre Objekt zu beleuchten.
  2. Einheit nach dem vorhergehenden Anspruch, umfassend eine analoge Zeitanzeige.
  3. Einheit nach Anspruch 2, wobei das sekundäre Objekt (6) das analoge Zifferblatt enthält.
  4. Einheit nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das sekundäre Objekt in einem Fenster einer tragbaren Uhr angeordnet ist.
  5. Einheit nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Seitenfläche (8) mattiert ist, so dass bei ihrer Nutzung diffuses Licht erzeugt wird.
  6. Positive Einheit nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Seitenfläche (8) einen Winkel im Bereich von 90 bis 135° in Bezug auf die Vorderseite aufweist.
  7. Einheit nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das transparente Substrat (2) einen Brechungsindex von mindestens 1,5 und vorzugsweise einen Wert im Bereich von 1,6 bis 1,8 aufweist.
  8. Einheit nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei auf den Seitenflächen, die das sekundäre Objekt (6) nicht beleuchten, opake Abdeckungen (9) angeordnet sind.
  9. Einheit nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Vorderseite des Substrats ein damit einteilig ausgebildetes oder ein angefügtes Dekor aufweist.
  10. Einheit nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, wobei auf dem Substrat ein halbtransparentes Zifferblatt montiert ist.
  11. Tragbare Uhr, umfassend eine Anzeigeeinheit nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche.
