Claims (10)

  1. A capsule (1) having an inner space (2), a bottom (3) and a lid (4), which is arranged opposite the bottom and seals the inner space (2) containing a beverage powder (5) for preparing a portion of a hot brewed beverage such as coffee, tea or bouillon when steam is conducted through, characterized in that there is in the region of the bottom (3) an inflow space (7) which is separated from the inner space (2) by a partition (6) close to the bottom and remote from the lid, that the inner space (2) has a central tube (8) which runs vertically relative to the bottom (3), that a hollow cylindrical section (11) runs around the central tube (8), forming a radially inner (111) and a radially outer (112) annular space, that the inner annular space (111) is closed on its side close to the lid and remote from the bottom, facing away from the inflow space (7) and facing the lid (4), and that both the central tube (8) and the hollow cylindrical section (11) end at a distance from the lid (4), and that the central tube (8) is connected on its side close to the bottom to the inflow space (7) and is closed (9) on the side close to the lid and is provided there with radial through-openings (10), and the end of the hollow cylindrical section (11) close to the bottom is arranged at a distance from the partition (6), leaving a connection between the inner and the outer annular space, and each annular space (111, 112) is separated from the inflow space (7).

  8. Use of a capsule according to any one of claims 1 to 7 in a brewing device having a central steam supply, preferably via a steam lance.
  9. The use according to claim 8, characterized in that the steam supply is arranged centrally relative to the axis (A).
  10. The use according to claim 8 or 9, characterized in that only one steam supply is provided.
