Definitions
- the present invention relates to a socket element and a plug element for an electrical plug connection with at least two electrical contact elements for transmitting electrical energy according to the preamble of claims 1 and 7.
- the present invention also relates to an electrical plug connection.
- the present invention also relates to a method for producing an electrical plug connection for transmitting electrical energy.
- FR 2 943 468 A1 shows a socket element with features of the preamble of claim 1 and a plug element with features of the preamble of claim 7. Further plug elements and socket elements are from DE 10 2006 014 621 A1 , WO 2010/115927 A1 , CN 202 940 392 U and US 2013/314069 A1 famous.
- the invention is based on the object of enabling a permanently reliable and electrically safe connection regardless of the type of current flow.
- the invention solves the problem by means of a socket element with the features of claim 1.
- Socket element made by a radio unit for the transmission of radio signals for identification and compatibility testing, a controller connected upstream of the radio unit, the radio unit interacting with the controller serving to enable the transmission of electrical energy via the contact elements, and by a switching element for activating the radio unit, the Switching element can be actuated by plugging the socket element together with a complementary plug-in element.
- Such a configuration of the socket element has the advantage that an electrically secure connection can be established. This is based on the fact that the socket element and a complementary plug-in element are initially de-energized. By plugging the socket element and the complementary plug-in element together, a switching element is actuated, which is used to activate a radio unit.
- the radio unit sends radio signals in order to carry out an identification and compatibility test of the socket element and plug element or the components connected to them. In the event of positive or authorized identification and compatibility, the controller with which the radio unit interacts releases the transmission of electrical energy via the contact elements. Only then are the contact elements energized. This creates a contact sequence in which the formation of an arc is avoided and contact elements are not energized in the exposed state.
- the safety when handling the socket element and plug element by a user is considerably optimized, in particular when the predominant type of current supply is direct current.
- the radio unit only when the plug element and socket element are plugged together is activated, unwanted reading out or manipulation of the socket element when the plug element is not inserted is prevented.
- a plug element that is complementary to the socket element serves as a “mechanical key” for activating the radio unit.
- the targeted activation of the radio unit also reduces energy consumption, as there is no permanent polling (presence check of a counterpart).
- the switching element can be actuated by the plug element when the socket element is plugged together with a complementary plug element.
- the socket element can be used not only in vehicles or houses but in any type of self-sufficient island network. Accordingly, the socket element can be fixedly mounted on a charging station or a house wall.
- the socket element is suitable for the transmission of direct current or alternating current.
- the socket element can be designed as a socket.
- the contact elements are designed as contact sockets which are arranged in a receptacle of the socket element serving to receive a complementary plug-in element.
- the radio unit is arranged on a wall delimiting the receptacle in the insertion direction or is integrated into the wall of the receptacle.
- the contact sockets are suitable for holding contact pins. More than two contact elements are also conceivable.
- the contact elements and / or their lines are preferably double galvanically isolated.
- a protective conductor can be dispensed with.
- the controller can be arranged in the socket element itself, in a plug element that is complementary to the socket element or in a terminal device (e.g. energy storage device, charger, energy consumer) connected to the socket element or plug element.
- the controller is connected upstream of the radio unit, it being possible for the radio unit together with the switching element to be arranged in the socket element.
- the controller can be designed as a microcontroller.
- the switching element can be positioned in such a way that it is only actuated after the contact elements of the socket element (eg contact sockets) are electrically connected to electrical contact elements of the plug element (eg contact pins).
- the switching element can be located in a defined arrangement with respect to the contact elements, so that the switching element is only actuated after an electrical contact has been established on the contact elements.
- a defined (plug-in) position of a plug-in element in the socket element is detected by the switching element.
- the defined position can be an end position in which the plug element is completely inserted into the socket element. This improves safety when handling the socket element, since the energy transfer is only released when a defined (plug-in) position is reached.
- the switching element can be designed as an electronic switching element, in particular as a sensor element, or as a switch that closes a circuit.
- the switch can be designed as a mechanical switch or button that is pretensioned by a spring.
- the switch can be designed as a tracking contact / contact bridge (electrical switch). A structurally simple solution for detecting a defined position is thus created in each case.
- the sensor element can be designed as a Hall probe (magnetic sensor), a light barrier (optical sensor), or a capacitor (capacitive sensor). This enables a more precise resolution when recording an (insertion) position.
- a locking element for locking a plug element can be provided on the socket element.
- a plug-in element can thus be fixed on the socket element, which further increases safety.
- the locking element can be designed as a U-shaped or V-shaped lock shackle. In the blocking position, the lock shackle can be used to grip behind a recess in the plug-in element.
- An actuator in particular controlled by the controller, can expediently be provided for actuating the locking element.
- the locking element can thus be shifted in a targeted manner between a release position and a blocking position.
- the actuation of the actuator by the controller has the advantage that the actuation of the locking element can take place in a coordinated manner to enable the energy transfer. It is conceivable that the energy transfer only begins when that Locking element has reached the blocking position. This again increases security.
- the radio unit can advantageously be designed as a preferably active near-field radio unit (NFC unit). This ensures the desired range of a radio signal transmission over just a few centimeters (manipulation security).
- NFC unit active near-field radio unit
- An active near-field radio unit has the advantage that it can also be used to communicate with a counterpart with a passive near-field radio unit (passive NFC tag).
- the plug-in element can be used not only in vehicles or houses, but also in any type of self-sufficient island network.
- the plug element is suitable for the transmission of direct current or alternating current.
- the plug element can be designed as a plug.
- the contact elements can be designed as contact pins which are arranged on the plug and oriented in the insertion direction.
- the radio unit is arranged on the front side of the plug, namely integrated into the plug on the front side.
- the contact pins are suitable for insertion into contact sockets. More than two contact elements are also conceivable.
- the controller can be in the plug element itself, in a socket element complementary to the plug element, or in a Plug element or socket element connected terminal (eg energy storage, charger, energy consumer) can be arranged. It is conceivable that the controller is connected upstream of the radio unit, with the radio unit and switching element being able to be arranged in the plug-in element.
- the controller can be designed as a microcontroller.
- a switching element is provided for activating the radio unit, the switching element being actuatable by plugging the plug-in element together with a complementary socket element.
- the radio unit of the plug-in element can be activated in a targeted manner when the switching element is actuated. It is conceivable that the switching element can be actuated by the socket element when the plug element is plugged together with the complementary socket element.
- the switching element of the plug element can correspond structurally to the switching element of the socket element.
- the switching element can therefore be designed as an electronic switching element, in particular as a sensor element, or as a switch that closes a circuit (see above).
- a locking element can be provided for locking the plug element on a complementary socket element.
- the locking element can be designed as a lock plate, which is arranged on the plug element and is suitable for interaction with a locking element of a socket element, for example a lock shackle. This contributes to increasing the safety when handling the socket element.
- the radio unit of the plug element is designed as a passive near-field radio unit (NFC unit). This ensures the desired range of a radio signal transmission over just a few centimeters (manipulation security).
- NFC unit passive near-field radio unit
- a passive near-field radio unit has the advantage that it can be fed by a near-field radio unit of the other party and does not require its own energy source.
- the physical contact between the contact elements takes place by plugging together a socket element having at least two contact elements as described above with a complementary plug element having at least two contact elements as described above. This takes place by the user, namely by inserting the plug element into the socket element.
- the switching element is actuated by plugging the socket element together with the plug element. It is conceivable that the switching element is actuated by the plug-in element when it is plugged together. This activates the radio unit and, if necessary, releases the energy transmission only after the plug element and socket element have been plugged together. This increases the safety for the user.

Description

Fig.4 ). Fig.3 ).
Fig.3 ).
Fig.4 ).
