Die Motor-Gebläse-Einheit 5 wird durch den Akkumulator 9 mit Strom versorgt und ist dazu ausgelegt, einen Saugluftstrom im Strömungspfad des Staubsaugers 1 zu erzeugen. Der Saugluftstrom erstreckt sich von der Ansaugöffnung 3 über den Saugstutzen 2 und den Lufteinlassbereich 11 zur Staubabscheidevorrichtung 4. Die Staubabscheidevorrichtung 4 ist als Fliehkraftabscheider ausgebildet. Der Lufteinlassbereich 11 und die Staubabscheidevorrichtung 4 sind so ausgebildet, dass die einströmende Luft entsprechend dem Pfeil 12 um eine Rotationsachse 13 in Rotation versetzt wird. Vorzugsweise weist die Staubabscheidevorrichtung 4 eine zylindrische Grundform auf, wobei die Rotationsachse 13 sich in axialer Richtung des Zylinders erstreckt. Infolge der Rotation der staubbeladenen Luft erfolgt eine Abscheidung von Schmutz und Staub in der Staubabscheidevorrichtung 4. Die Staubabscheidevorrichtung 4 ist bodenseitig geschlossen ausgebildet, und im Bodenbereich sammelt sich der abgeschiedene Schmutz und Staub. Zur weiteren Reinigung der vorgereinigten Luft kann ein Filtereinsatz vorgesehen sein, der sich von der Oberseite der Staubabscheidevorrichtung 4 aus in die Staubabscheidevorrichtung 4 hinein erstreckt und von der vorgereinigten Luft durchströmt wird. Die gereinigte Luft gelangt über einen Saugluftkanal, der unterhalb der Abdeckung 14 angeordnet ist, zur Motor-Gebläse-Einheit 5 und von dort zum Ausblasbereich 6, der unterhalb der Motor-Gebläse-Einheit 5 angeordnet ist. Durch die abgeschrägte Standfläche werden insbesondere die Staubabscheidevorrichtung 4 sowie die Rotationsachse 13 in eine nach vorne geneigte Position verkippt, so dass die Rotationsachse 13 relativ zur Vertikalen 32 um einen Winkel 33 geneigt ist. Die Vertikale 32 ist dabei in Bezug auf den horizontalen Untergrund 31 festgelegt, auf dem der Staubsauger 1 aufliegt. Der Winkel 33 zwischen der Rotationsachse 13 und der Vertikalen 32 entspricht dem Winkel 20, um den der abgeschrägte Teil 16 der Bodenfläche relativ zur Querebene 18 geneigt ist. Die Abschrägung der Standfläche führt also zu einer dementsprechenden Verkippung der Achsen der einzelnen Komponenten nach vorne, so dass sich insgesamt eine neuartige Linienführung des Staubsaugers 1 ergibt. Wenn man den Staubsauger 1 von vorne betrachtet, wirkt die Staubabscheidevorrichtung 4 durch die Verkippung optisch kleiner, als sie tatsächlich ist. Durch die Abschrägung der Standfläche wird darüber hinaus auch die Drehachse 34 der Motor-Gebläse-Einheit 5 um einen gewissen Winkel nach vorne verkippt. In Bezug auf den hinteren Bereich des Staubsaugers 1 führt die abgeschrägte Standfläche zu einer Anhebung der Position der Aufnahme 10 und des in die Aufnahme 10 eingesetzten austauschbaren Akkus 9. Der austauschbare Akku 9 kann ohne Verwendung von Werkzeug aus der Aufnahme 10 entfernt und in die Aufnahme 10 eingesetzt werden. Dabei ist die Richtung, in der der Akku 9 in die Aufnahme 10 eingeschoben wird, vorzugsweise im Bereich von 10° bis 30° relativ zum horizontalen Untergrund 31. Durch die Anhebung der Position der Aufnahme 10 wird der unterhalb des Akkus 9 befindliche Zwischenraum 35 vergrößert, so dass der Akku 9 von seiner Unterseite her leichter umgriffen und herausgezogen werden kann. Claims (11)
