Description

The invention relates to an article of cosmetic product, in particular for the lips.

A lipstick conventionally comprises a tube as well as a reserve of cosmetic product which can in particular be in solid or pasty form, called “grape”. The product is moved to one end of the tube by a mechanism so that the user can apply it to her lips. The formulation of the product is chosen in order to obtain the best possible makeup result while ensuring good resistance of the grape, particularly mechanical and thermal. For this, it is possible to modulate the proportions of the four main components of the grape, namely waxes, oils, butters and pigments. In order to obtain good makeup results, it is desirable to reduce the strength of the grape, provided in large part by the waxes as structuring elements, for example by increasing the proportion of oils and butters. However, this increase results in a decrease in the mechanical resistance of the grape and therefore promotes its breakage. In addition, this increase ultimately promotes exudation phenomena which, in addition to denaturing the initial formulation of the grape, have a negative visual impact on the consumer. It is recalled in this regard that a user is likely to keep a lipstick for several years.

An aim of the invention is therefore to improve cosmetic articles.

A cet effet, on prévoit selon l'invention un article de cosmétique selon la revendication 1.For this purpose, according to the invention, a cosmetic article according to claim 1 is provided.

In the case of a solid block of cosmetic product, the passage through the grids makes it possible to make the product pasty and therefore to improve the makeup effect obtained and to simplify the application of makeup for the user. In the case of a cosmetic product in pasty form, this passage makes it possible to thin the product in order, once again, to obtain a better makeup result and to simplify the application of makeup by the user.

In addition, the upstream grid generates a first destructuring of the product as it passes through the orifices. The downstream grid then continues this work on the same fraction of product. As this work of softening and tenderizing the grapes takes place in two stages, the efforts to be produced on the mechanism by the user to obtain it can remain moderate, compared with the presence of a single grid.

De préférence, une plus grande dimension d'un orifice de la grille amont est plus grande qu'une plus grande dimension d'un orifice de la grille aval, le rapport entre ces deux dimensions étant de préférence supérieur à 1 et inférieur ou égal à 100.Preferably, a larger dimension of an orifice in the upstream grid is greater than a larger dimension of an orifice in the downstream grid, the ratio between these two dimensions preferably being greater than 1 and less than or equal to 100.

Thus, in the case of a solid block of product, a progressive destructuring of the block is obtained which requires even less effort on the part of the user than if there was only one grid or if the two grids had the same dimensions. This also applies in the case where the product is in pasty form, this particular arrangement making it possible to obtain a more fluid paste with reduced effort.

At least one of the grids is woven and, the weaving being formed by warp threads and weft threads, the warp threads have a different diameter from that of the weft threads.

This particular arrangement makes it possible in particular to orient the product passing through the grid in a desired direction in order to obtain, for example, a particular makeup result. This also makes it possible, in the case of a solid block of product, to destructure the block differently in a particular direction. In other words, the destructuring takes place anisotropically. Provision can be made for the warp threads to have a larger diameter than the weft threads or vice versa. It is also possible to provide that, within the same grid, the different warp threads have different diameters. Likewise, provision can be made for the different weft threads to have different diameters on the same grid.

Preferably, at least one of the grids is in one piece.

This makes it possible in particular to give the outlines of the openings shapes that are difficult to obtain otherwise, for example by weaving. It is possible to envisage manufacturing the grids by injection or else by additive synthesis.

Preferably, all the orifices of at least one of the grids have superimposable contours.

Thus, there will be a homogeneous distribution of the product paste on the grid at the outlet of the orifices which allows a homogeneous application of the product, in particular in the case where all the grids have these characteristics. Provision can also be made for all the grids of an article to have this characteristic.

Advantageously, at least one of the grids has orifices having non-superimposable contours.

This particular arrangement makes it possible in particular to orient the product paste in a desired direction as it passes through the grid. It is also possible, for example, to further concentrate the paste at a particular location on the surface of the grid so that the application of the product is more precise. In the case where two identical grids of this type are used, the phenomenon of orientation of the product in a particular direction is even more marked. It is of course possible to provide a greater number of grids, identical or not, greater.

Preferably, the outlines of the orifices have one of the following shapes: rectangular, pentagonal, hexagonal, octagonal, round, oval or oblong.

Some of these different shapes of the orifices also participate in the orientation of the product as it passes through the grid.

Préférentiellement, une plus grande dimension des orifices d'au moins une des grilles est comprise entre 50 et 450 µm.Preferably, a larger dimension of the orifices of at least one of the grids is between 50 and 450 μm.

More preferably, at least one of the grids is arranged so that a minimum distance between the orifices is between 100 to 300 μm.

This arrangement helps to obtain good results in the destructuring of the block, in the case where the product is solid, without the user having to provide too much effort. In the case where the product is pasty, this arrangement makes it possible to obtain good results in the fluidization of the product. Provision can be made for the minimum distance between the various contiguous orifices of the grid to be not constant between the various orifices. Provision can also be made for the distribution of the minimum distances between the contiguous orifices of the grid to direct the product which passes through the grid in a desired direction.

Advantageously, the article further comprises at least one intermediate grid between the two grids, a larger dimension of the respective openings of the grids decreasing from upstream to downstream with reference to a direction of passage of the product through the grids during an exit of the product from the article.

This characteristic makes it possible to further reduce the effort required to break down a block of product or to obtain a more fluid dough.

Preferably, the cosmetic product forms a solid block.

Advantageously, the cosmetic product is a cosmetic product for the lips. There is also provided a device, which does not form part of the invention as defined in the appended claims, comprising:
  • at least two grids extending opposite one another, and
  • a support to which the grids are attached,
a larger dimension of the orifices of at least one of the grids being between 50 and 450 μm,
a larger dimension of each grid being less than 3 cm,
the support being adapted to be fixed to one end of a tube of a cosmetic article.

We will now present embodiments of the invention by way of nonlimiting examples with reference to the drawings in which:
  • the figures 1 and 2 are longitudinal sectional views of articles according to two embodiments of the invention,
  • the figure 3 is a perspective view of the grids fixed to their support of the article of the figure 1 on which only the most distal grid is visible,

We will describe with reference to figures 1 to 9 an article of cosmetic for the lips. We will deal with the case in which this item is lipstick below. Of course, the cosmetic product for the lips can be different and we are not limited here either to red lipsticks, the color of the cosmetic product being able to be pink, black, brown, etc.

The outer casing of cosmetic item 1 shown in figure 1 is formed by a body 2 and a cap (not shown). The body has an abutment, formed by a shoulder, against which the cap is able to bear so that the body fits in part into the cap.

The body comprises two cylindrical portions, for example with a substantially square section in a plane transverse to the body of the applicator, the second section having a reduced dimension compared to the first section. These two sections are separated by the stopper. The body is hollow and open at its distal and proximal ends. The opening 11 of the proximal end of the body is partially closed by a bottom part 3 of the body which extends, from this end, in a plane transverse to the body of the applicator.

A cavity formed by the body 2 comprises, from the outside towards the inside, in the direction of an axis 13 of the body, a tubular element 4 having a helical ramp, a tube 5 and a piston 6 whose main longitudinal axes 13 are confused.

The tubular element 4 (see figure 8 ) is of generally hollow cylindrical shape with a circular section in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 13 and is open at its two ends. It has a substantially smooth outer face and an inner face having a groove forming a helical ramp 7 extending over a greater part of the length of the tubular element 4. On the figure 8 , there are eight turns of the propeller. Of course, it is possible to provide a different number of helix turns, greater or less, depending on the desired effect. This element rests by its proximal end on the bottom part 3. The distal end of this element 4 itself extends substantially at the level of the stop. This element is rigidly fixed to the body 2 of the article.

Tube 5 (see figure 7 ) forms a hollow cylinder with a circular section in a plane perpendicular to the axis 13 and is open at its two ends. The distal end of tube 5 is bevelled. It is of course possible to provide that this end is not bevelled. The tube 5 has two notches forming two ramps 8 which extend from the proximal end of the tube to a middle portion of the tube. The ramps are generally rectilinear elongated parallel to the axis 13. They are diametrically opposed to each other on either side of this axis.

Piston 6 (see figure 6 ) forms a hollow cylinder with a circular section in a plane perpendicular to the axis 13. The proximal end of the piston is open and its distal end bevelled and is closed by a portion 9 which is slightly set back from the end distal of the piston so as to form a bowl in which the base of the grape is engaged. This improves the connection between the grape and the piston. On the figure 1 , the portion 9 of the piston which closes the distal end is flat and inclined with respect to the axis 13 so that it is also bevelled. The piston has, at the level of the external face of its proximal portion, two diametrically opposed guide pins 10 which project from the external face of the piston. Of course, provision can be made for the studs to be arranged at other locations on the outer face of the piston. These studs are each capable of traversing both the rectilinear ramp 8 of the tube 5 and the helical ramp 7 of the tubular element 4. The piston also has at its distal end a sealing bead 12 extending over all around the distal end of the plunger.

The proximal portion of the tube 5 is therefore housed inside the body and the tubular element 4 and its distal part extends outside, projecting from the body 2 of the article 1. The tube is mounted so as to be able to rotate. around the axis 13 relative to the assembly formed by the body 2 and the tubular element 4, by suitable guide means. The piston 6 is housed movable in translation in the tube 5 by virtue of its studs 10 capable of traversing the various ramps 7, 8.

This grape 14 has a generally solid cylindrical shape with a circular section in a plane perpendicular to the axis 13. The distal end of the grape 14 has a bevelled shape. Of course, other shapes can be provided for this end, these shapes being widely known to those skilled in the art. The grape 14 rests by its proximal part on the distal end 9 of the piston 6. The piston is therefore able to cause the grape 14 to slide along the axis 13 inside the tube 5.

This grape has a rupture index measured at 20 ° C of between 0.2 and 20 N (approximately between 20 and 2000 gram-force). The fracture index reflects the mechanical resistance of the block.

This measurement is for example obtained with a reference test bench TCM 201 M, and a force sensor 23 (dynamometer) of reference DFS 5 Kilogram-Force (KgF) (i.e. approximately 49 N) marketed by Chatillon with a speed of 132 mm / min rod descent. The breaking index of a grape represents the average force that must be applied to break the grape.

For the measurement, the temperature of the product is controlled since it has a direct impact on the results. The grape can be brought to the desired temperature before measurement according to known methods. For example, the grapes can be left in an enclosure thermostatically controlled at 20 ° C or else in a room regulated at 20 ° C. The temperature of the product is measured using a thermometer inserted in the heart of the grape before measurement to ensure that it is between 19.5 ° C and 21.5 ° C.

In general, force sensors of 1 or 5 KgF can be used, force sensors of 1 KgF allowing measurements up to a maximum measured value of 1000 gF (i.e. approximately 9.8 N), beyond the 5 KgF sensor must be used.

With reference to the figure 9 , the measurement is carried out with a tube 24 of the same diameter as the tube 5. This tube 24 is placed horizontally with the grape 14 in its original state in its position as far out of the article as possible. The tube is held stationary with a setting ring 20 and a fixing screw 21, the bevelled face of the grape facing downwards (see figure 9 ). The rod 22, which comprises a stop in the shape of an inverted "V", descends vertically at the programmed speed, ie 132 mm / min in this case, comes into contact with the grape 14 and breaks it. The dynamometer 23 gives a value which corresponds to the maximum compressive force measured during the breaking of the grape, that is to say the breaking index. Several tests can be carried out for the same grape formulation in order to be able to calculate an average and a standard deviation of the breaking index.

  • largeur : 100 µm,
  • longueur : 261 µm,
  • diamètre des fils de chaine a : 150 µm,
  • diamètre des fils de trame b : 100 µm,
  • distance entre les orifices : 100 µm.
The article 1 further comprises two grids 15 of generally circular planar shape. In the embodiment shown, the grids are woven grids, for example made of metal, comprising warp threads 18 and weft threads 19, these threads forming orifices 16 of generally rectangular shape. The fact that the grids are made of metal is particularly advantageous, in particular for the most distal grid, since this provides, during the application of the product to the lips, a “refreshing” effect which is pleasant for the user. Greater dimension, here a diagonal orifices 16 is between 50 and 450 .mu.m. The weft and warp threads have a diameter a, b of between 100 and 300 μm which therefore also corresponds to the minimum distance values between the orifices. The grids 15 are rigidly fixed to the distal end of the tube 5 via a support 17. In the present example, the holes of the downstream grid are as follows:
  • largest dimension: 280 µm,
  • width: 100 µm,
  • length: 261 µm,
  • diameter of the chain wires a : 150 µm,
  • diameter of the weft threads b : 100 µm,
  • distance between orifices: 100 µm.

  • largeur : 300 µm,
  • longueur : 264,5 µm,
  • diamètre des fils de chaine a : 150 µm,
  • diamètre des fils de trame b : 100 µm,
  • distance entre les orifices : 100 µm.
The upstream grille openings are as follows:
  • largest dimension: 400 µm,
  • width: 300 µm,
  • length: 264.5 µm,
  • diameter of the chain wires a : 150 µm,
  • diameter of the weft threads b : 100 µm,
  • distance between orifices: 100 µm.

The two grids are here in contact with each other and fixed on the same support 17. The two grids are facing each other and parallel to each other (see figure 1 ).

The support 17 has a generally cylindrical shape with a circular section in a plane perpendicular to the axis 13. The grids 15 are for example associated with the support 17 by overmolding the support on the grids, the support being made of plastic. The support is linked to the tube 5, this connection being made over the entire periphery of the distal end of the tube.

Le raisin 14 est situé à distance et en regard de la grille 15 la plus proximale (non illustré).When the applicator is not in use, the piston 6 is in its lowest position, ie its proximal end is in contact with part 3 of the article. The grape 14 is located at a distance from and facing the most proximal grid 15 (not illustrated).

In use, the user holds the article 1 with both hands, her first hand holding the end of the tube 5 projecting out of the body of the article and her other hand holding the body 2 of the article in the middle. level of its larger portion.

The user applies a rotational movement to the body 2 of the article with respect to the tube, around the axis 13. This rotational movement causes the path of the helical ramp 7 of the tubular element 4 and of the rectilinear ramp. 8 of the tube 5 by the two guide pins 10 of the piston. This path causes a translational movement or rectilinear sliding of the piston 6 along the axis 13, the piston bringing with it the grape 14. The translational movement continues until the grape 14 comes into contact with the grid 15 most proximal.

The user continues to apply a rotational movement to the body 2 of the article thereby passing the end of the grape 14 through the proximal grid 15 and then the grid 15 distal.

This passage through the grids leads to a destructuring of an end fraction of the solid grape which is cut into thin strips which then meet after the passage of the two grids, out of them and on the distal grid so as to form a homogeneous paste. Once the grape fraction has passed through the grids and has been deconstructed into a paste, this paste is ready to be applied. The user can thus easily apply this paste to her lips. Of course, only the end of the block of product is unstructured for each application, most of the grape retaining its integrity. The block is gradually deconstructed as applications are made, while it rises towards the grids.

The presence of two grids in contact with one another as described above has several advantages. In fact, this makes it possible to have a greater destructuring of the block of product and thus to obtain a more fluid dough. In addition, in particular if the largest dimensions of the orifices 16 of the proximal or upstream grid are larger than the largest dimensions of the orifices 16 of the distal or downstream grid, the force to be provided in order to pass the grids through a part of the grape is reduced. The ratio between these two dimensions is greater than 1 and less than or equal to 100, and for example equal to 60.

These two grids 15 can be of the same material or of different materials. The two can also have orifices 16 the contours of which have different shapes, whether within the same grid 15 or between the orifices 16 of the two grids. For example, one can provide a first grid whose outlines of the orifices have a rectangular shape and a second grid whose outlines of the orifices have a generally oblong shape. Of course, a larger number of grids can be considered, for example three grids, four grids, five grids or six grids.

In an alternative embodiment presented in figure 2 , article 1 comprises two grids 15 which are close to and facing each other but without mutual contact this time. The space between these two grids is suitable for receiving the grape after the latter has passed through the first grid, that is to say the proximal grid and before its passage through the second grid. The spacing between these two grids can be maintained for example by spacers.

The advantages of this embodiment are the same as those of the previous embodiment. It therefore makes it possible to obtain a paste of more fluid product and to reduce the effort required by the user to switch from solid grapes to fluid paste. As before, a larger number of grids can be envisaged, for example three grids, four grids, five grids or six grids. These two grids 15 can be of the same material or of different materials. Both may furthermore have orifices 16, the contours of which have different shapes, whether within the same grid 15 or between the orifices 16 of two grids. For example, one can provide a first grid whose outlines of the orifices have a rectangular shape and a second grid whose outlines of the orifices have a generally oblong shape.

Of course, numerous modifications can be made to the invention, provided that said modifications fall within the scope of the appended claims.

The embodiments presented use a mechanism for moving the grape. Any other mechanism known to those skilled in the art could be used. For example, the rectilinear ramps can extend outside the room carrying the helical ramp. However, the configuration described in support of the figures, in which the helical ramp is outside the rectilinear ramps, makes it possible to give a reduced pitch to the propeller and therefore to reduce the force to be provided by the user to make pass the grapes through the grates.

A mechanism can be provided allowing the user to directly provide a sliding force to raise the grape.

It is also possible to provide a mechanism in which the grape is rigidly fixed to the body and it is at least one of the grids which descends on the grape to deconstruct it.

On peut prévoir que l'une des grilles ne soit pas tissée mais soit réalisée par usinage d'une plaque pour y réaliser des orifices ou encore par une technique de fabrication additive (impression 3D).Provision can be made for one of the grids not to be woven but to be produced by machining a plate in order to make orifices therein or even by an additive manufacturing technique (3D printing).

Provision can be made for the size and / or the distribution of the orifices to vary on the surface of at least one of the grids.

Provision can also be made for the orifices to have one dimension greater than another in order to deconstruct the formula further in one direction.

Provision can also be made for the grid to be concave or convex.

Provision can be made for the grid to be made of plastic, fabric or metal.

Provision can be made for the cosmetic product to be intended for another part of the face. It can in particular be applied to the whole body. It may be a cosmetic product other than a lipstick, for example a care product.
