Claims (9)
- Closed fireplace, having a door (2) and a combustion chamber (6) which can be closed by the door (2) and, in each case, being operatively connected thereto, a combustion air supply duct (4) and an exhaust gas duct (3) which is connected to the outside air, wherein a burner (7) which can be operated with liquid fuel and is connected to at least one container (8) which is filled with a combustible liquid is arranged in the combustion chamber (6), wherein a pump (10) is connected to the container (8), by means of which liquid fuel can be guided to the burner (7), and wherein the burner (7) has a fire pan (11), characterized in that the fire pan is designed with an igniter (13) and a burner grid (12) which divides the fire pan (11) into a lower early primary combustion zone (14) and an upper late primary combustion zone (16).
