Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sweeping brush, and a broom having such a sweeping brush.
  • Known sweeping brushes for brushes, brushes or manual brushes
  • Known sweeping brushes generally comprise a head on which is disposed a plurality of scanning members for moving and accompanying dust and other particles strewing a surface to be cleaned during scanning.
  • the average orientation of the scanning members is generally generally perpendicular to a bottom face of the brushing head of the brush.
  • the sweeping movement is ordinarily effected from an inclined position of the brush or the brush to an inclined position of the brush or brush opposite the initial position, the orientation of the scanning members being perpendicular to the surface to clean at a moment of movement.
  • the variable orientation of the scanning members implies an efficiency of the variable scanning sweep during the movement.
  • the scanning efficiency is low when the scanning members are inclined relative to the surface to be cleaned and increases during the movement until the scanning members are perpendicular to this surface.
  • the user is required to perform rapid and repeated scanning movements of low amplitude.
  • Such a scan is relatively tiring and increases the duration of the scan.
  • the document EP 1 595 473 A1 discloses a scanning brush having a first series of scanning members and a second series of scanning members, consisting of outer lamellae which can be inclined with respect to the first scanning members.
  • the document DE 10 2013 000 501 discloses a sweeping brush having a first series of scanning members and a second series of oblique scanning members located in the inner portion of the brush.
  • the invention therefore aims to overcome these drawbacks and to propose a new type of sweeping brush having a structure making it possible to improve the efficiency of the cleaning of a surface to be cleaned, facilitating the sweeping work and making it possible to reduce its duration.
  • the invention also aims at providing such a sweeping brush whose aesthetics are improved.
  • the invention also aims to provide such a sweeping brush whose manufacture is simple, fast, and inexpensive.
  • each oblique scanning member is interposed between two first adjacent scanning members, more outwardly inclined than the latter, and the first scanning members and the oblique scanning members intersect each other.
  • the inventors have determined that the simple fact of intercrossing these different scanning members not only increases the effective sweeping surface of the brush, but also improves the accompaniment of particles strewn with a dirty surface throughout the entire range. angular inclination of the sweeping brush with respect to the surface to be cleaned, and thus to facilitate and speed up the cleaning. Indeed, when the blade is inclined relative to the surface to be cleaned, the oblique scanning bodies more inclined towards the outside of the brush head are in contact with the surface to be cleaned with an optimal orientation compared to the latter.
  • a sweeping brush according to the invention makes it possible to obtain an orientation of the scanning members with respect to the surface to be cleaned optimally throughout the scanning movement.
  • a person sweeping a dirty surface can thus reduce the number of scanning movements by increasing the amplitude of the scanning movement and thus reducing the sweeping time of the dirty surface.
  • the interlacing of the scanning members provides the brush with a particular, distinctive and particularly advantageous aesthetic.
  • the invention applies to a sweeping brush with each first stacking curve having any shape, and to a sweeping brush having a plurality of first stacking curves, for example juxtaposed with one another extending generally in the length of the sweeping brush whose head is elongated.
  • a sweeping brush according to the invention may comprise a single series of oblique scanning members interposed between the first scanning members arranged according to the same first stacking curve, or on the contrary several series of oblique scanning organs interposed between first scanning members arranged according to a plurality of first stacking curves.
  • a first stacking curve is a closed curve. More particularly, a first stacking curve is a peripheral curve of the brush head.
  • the brush comprises a single series of oblique scanning members interposed between the first scanning members arranged in a first closed peripheral encasing curve of the head.
  • the connecting ends of the oblique scanning members are arranged in a second closed stacking curve inscribed in said first stacking curve.
  • each scanning member is selected from the group consisting of bristles, bundles (tufts) of bristles, lamellae, groups of lamellae.
  • a scanning member consists of a plurality of juxtaposed elements (bristles or lamellae) these juxtaposed elements are attached to the facing face by the same connecting end, and thus form a single scanning member .
  • a scanning member may be a single pile or a group of natural bristles (filaments, plant fibers) or synthetic (elastomers, foams, wire, ...), each hair may be flush, corrugated or straight.
  • the length of these different elements juxtaposed from the connecting end may be the same or not, according to the shape that we want to give to the free end of scanning of the scanning member.
  • the first scanning members may have a maximum length from their connecting end which may be different from a first scanning member to another along the first stacking curve, for example to form corrugations. .
  • the first scanning members all have the same maximum length.
  • the oblique scanning members may have a maximum length from their connecting end which may be different from one oblique scanning member to another along the second stacking curve, for example so as to to form undulations.
  • the oblique scanning members have the same maximum length. More particularly, in certain advantageous embodiments, the ratio between the maximum length of the first scanning members and the maximum length of the oblique scanning organs is between 0.7 and 1.2, for example of the order of 1, more particularly 1.1.
  • the shape of the free end of the first scanning members and the oblique scanning members may be arbitrary, variable from one first scanning member to another and / or from an oblique scanning member to the other, or the same for all first scanning members and / or for all oblique scan members.
  • the head of a sweeping brush according to the invention can be made in many different variants, in particular in one or more part (s) issued (s) molding or 3D printing.
  • the brush is particularly simple, fast and inexpensive to manufacture. Indeed, it is then easy to insert the different scanning members by simply embedding the second frame in the first frame with or without the help of jig assembly, while minimizing the distance between the adjacent scanning members of each mount when assembling the scanning members.
  • the fact of assembling the scoring members on separate frames makes it possible to simply modify manufacturing parameters such as the cutting height of the scanning members and their density determined by the amount of bristles or lamellae per scanning member. and their thickness.
  • the first frame is advantageously formed of a piece having a recess housing of the second frame inside the first peripheral closed encasing curve of the first frame.
  • the assembly of the two frames can therefore be performed simply by embedding the second frame in the recess housing within a space defined by the first scanning members extending from the first peripheral closed encasing curve of the first frame.
  • the shape and dimensions of the second frame correspond exactly to those of the recess housing presented by the first frame.
  • the rigid assembly of the first frame and the second frame can at least partially result in the combined shapes and dimensions of the recess housing and the second frame, which can in particular be adapted to form a clamping assembly. and / or force engagement with residual elastic clamping stress.
  • the rigid assembly of the first frame and the second frame is at least partly advantageously achieved by means of quick assembly members without tools, preferably with elastic locking, reversible or irreversible, for example with at least a hook, boss, rib of one of the mounts fit into a recess locking recess of the other mount.
  • the second frame has a convex side facing with an inclined periphery, and the connecting ends of the oblique scanning members are assembled along this inclined periphery.
  • the oblique scanning members are assembled at the inclined periphery so that each oblique scanning member extends in a mean direction of the oblique scanning member, said oblique direction, oriented at least substantially according to a normal around the circumference inclined.
  • the connecting ends of the oblique scanning members are fixed in blind holes of the stacking face having a main direction determining the mean direction of the oblique scanning members, and this main direction is oriented at least substantially according to a normal at the inclined periphery.
  • the inclination of the oblique scanning members is determined by the inclination of the inclined periphery and the main direction of the holes receiving their connecting end.
  • the head of the brush comprises a sleeve (fixed or articulated) adapted to be assembled to a joystick.
  • a brush according to the invention can be easily assembled to a broom handle and / or replace a removable broom brush.
  • the invention also extends to a broom or a brush comprising a brush according to the invention.
  • the invention also relates to a sweeping brush and a brush characterized in combination by all or some of the characteristics mentioned above or below.
  • a sweeping brush according to a first embodiment of the invention is shown on the Figures 1 to 5 .
  • the sweeping brush comprises a head 20 carrying a plurality of scanning members.
  • the head 20 comprises a first generally rectangular frame 27 extending longitudinally along an axis, said longitudinal axis up to two longitudinal ends.
  • the first mount 27 has a lower face 33 oriented towards the ground during scanning, having a recess 49 defined by a peripheral rim 50 formed by a peripheral shoulder of the first frame.
  • the first frame 27 may be derived from molding, consisting of a polymeric synthetic material, wood, or other.
  • a first series of scanning members, said first scanning members, is assembled on a lower face 41 of empoilage of the peripheral rim of the first frame 27 in a closed curve of empoiling, said first curve 37 of stacking.
  • the head 20 of the sweeping brush also comprises a second frame 28.
  • the second frame 28 may be derived from molding, consisting of a polymeric synthetic material, wood, or other.
  • This second mount 28 has shapes and dimensions conjugate with those of the recess of the lower face 33 of the first mount 27, so that this recess constitutes a recess housing of the second mount 28.
  • the second mount 28 has in particular a at least substantially flat upper surface, said upper face 34, coming against the bottom 33 of the recess of the first mount 27 when the second mount 28 is embedded in the recess of the first mount 27.
  • the second mount 28 also includes a lower face 29 of bulging stocking opposite to the flat upper face 34 and facing the surface to be cleaned during scanning.
  • the thickness of the second mount 28 is greater than the height of the peripheral rim, so that the convex lower face 29 is projecting from the peripheral rim of the first mount 27.
  • a second series of scanning members, said oblique scanning members 23, is assembled on the second mount 28.
  • the locking hooks 32 are thus adapted to be inserted into force and bent elastically in bending in the windows 47 of the first frame 27 during embedding. After embedding the second mount in the first mount, each hook 32 is then in abutment against the shoulder 31 for holding the window 47 opposite this assembly member 32. Thus, the two frames are assembled and fixed rigidly between them.
  • the two frames are held together by elastic locking resulting from the assembly.
  • the rigid assembly may be reversible to allow subsequent disassembly, or otherwise irreversible, the two frames can not be disassembled without breaking.
  • the facing face 21 of the head 20 of the brush is formed by the peripheral rim of the first mount 27 and by the lower face 29 of convex encasement of the second mount 28.
  • Each first scanning member 22 of the first scan unit series extends from a connecting end 43 to said flange peripheral to a free end 44 of the first scanning member 22.
  • Each first scanning member 22 extends in a mean direction, said first direction 24.
  • this first direction is the longitudinal direction of the pile or of the coverslip.
  • the first scanning member is formed of a tuft of bristles or a group of lamellae
  • the first direction is the average direction of the tuft of bristles or group of lamellae.
  • This first direction forms a first angle ⁇ with respect to a generatrix 25 of a cylindrical theoretical surface 35 (in the mathematical sense of the term according to which a cylindrical surface of the space is a surface generated by the displacement of a generating line on a any base curve) of which the first stacking curve 37 is a base curve, the first direction being inclined outwardly of a closed space 40 delimited by the theoretical cylindrical surface.
  • the angle ⁇ is greater than or equal to zero.
  • the second series of members is thus assembled on the convex lower face 29 of the second frame 28 in a closed stacking curve, called the second stacking curve 38.
  • each angle ⁇ is between 0 ° and 20 ° more particularly between 0 ° and 15 °, more particularly between 0 ° and 10 °, more particularly between 0 ° and 5 °, more particularly between order of 0 °.
  • each angle ⁇ is between 20 ° and 120 °, more particularly between 20 ° and 90 °, more particularly between 20 ° and 45 °, more particularly of the order of 30 °.
  • the angle ⁇ may vary from one scanning organ to another.
  • the angle ⁇ is the same for all the first scanning members.
  • the angle ⁇ can vary from one oblique scanning organ to another.
  • the angle ⁇ is the same for all oblique scanning devices.
  • the scanning members may be any, and in particular be selected from the group consisting of natural bristles (filaments, plant fibers), synthetic (elastomers, foam, metal threads), flowering hairs, wavy hairs and straight hairs.
  • the first scanning members and the oblique scanning members may be of nature and / or of thickness and / or of length and / or different.
  • the peripheral rim and the curved lower face 29 comprise a plurality of blind holes 42, preferably of circular cross section, in which the scanning members are fixed.
  • the blind holes 42 placed on the same stacking curve 37, 38 are spaced, for example, a distance of about 24mm between them, more particularly of the order of 17mm. Nevertheless, nothing prevents having blind holes 42 spaced apart from each other, on the same stacking curve 37, 38, of a variable distance.
  • the blind holes 42 of the second mount 28 are offset relative to the blind holes 42 of the first mount 27 so that an oblique member 23 scanning is interposed between two first scanning members.
