Claims (10)

  1. Feeding device (5) for a cutting machine, comprising
    - means for feeding material to be cut to a cutting plane of a cutting machine,
    - means for attaching the feeding device (5) to the cutting machine, wherein the means for attaching the feeding device (5) have a holding section (10) on the cutting machine,
    characterised in that the holding section (10) is U-shaped and for feeding material to be cut to a cutting plane can be placed from above onto an upper edge (4) of a protective wall (3) of a slide (1) of a cutting machine used for preventing the insertion of the user's hand into the cutting area.
  2. Feeding device (5) according to claim 1, characterised in that the means for feeding are designed to be shell-like or tubular, in particular as a shell-like or tubular feeding channel (6), which has an opening (8) extending preferably into the cutting plane.
  3. Feeding device (5) according to any of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the means for feeding the material to be cut to the cutting blade of the cutting machine have a feed angle different from 90°, for example an angle of 45°.

  9. Cutting machine for foodstuffs, comprising
    - a rotatable cutting blade,
    - a slide (1) with a support surface (2) for material to be cut which can be moved back and forth relative to the cutting blade,
    characterised in that the cutting machine comprises a feeding device (5) according to any of claims 1 to 8, and in that the slide (1) of the cutting machine comprises a protective wall (3) for preventing the insertion of the user's hand into the cutting area, on the upper edge (4) of which a portion of the feeding device (5) can be placed.
  10. Cutting machine according to claim 9, characterised in that a portion of the feeding device can stand on the support surface (2).
