    a first folding apparatus (40) for folding and/or creasing a packaging material and a second folding apparatus (50) for folding and/or creasing the packaging material,
    and at least one transport apparatus (60, 70) for transporting a packaging material relative to the first and/or second folding apparatus (40, 50),
    wherein
    the first and second folding apparatus (40, 50) can be shifted independently of one another, preferably transversely to the throughput direction,
    characterised in that the device comprises a controller, which is configured to shift the first folding apparatus (40), in particular transversely to the throughput direction, while the second folding apparatus (50) is processing a packaging material folded and/or creased by the first folding apparatus (40).
  2.
