Abstract
Mund- und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel, die - bezogen auf ihr Gewicht - 500 bis 1600 ppm Fluorid, berechnet als F-, 0,001 bis 5 Gew.-% Calcium-Glycerophosphat und 0,5 bis 20 Gew.-% Erythritol enthalten, weisen einen verbesserten Schutz gegenüber der Erosion von Zahnschmelz sowie der Entstehung von Karies auf, auch wenn die Mittel länger gelagert werden.

"Zahncreme mit verringerter Fluoridinaktivierung"
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Mund- und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel, welche Fluorid und Calciumsalz(e) enthalten. Das zuvor genannte Mittel weist eine verbesserte Lagerstabilität und Wirkung gegen Zahnschmelzabbau auf.
Zahnschmelz besteht hauptsächlich aus Calciumhydroxylapatit der Formel Caio(P04)6(OH)2, welches teilweise mit Anionen wie Carbonaten oder Fluoriden und Kationen wie Zink oder Magnesium substituiert sein kann. Weiterhin kann Zahnschmelz auch nicht apatitische Mineralphasen, wie Octacalciumphosphat und Calciumcarbonat, enthalten.
Der Verlust von Zahnschmelz kann zum einen durch Karies verursacht werden. Bei Karies handelt es sich um lokale Aushöhlungen, welche durch die Einwirkung von bakteriellen Säuren auf den Zahnschmelz entstehen. Die Bildung der bakteriellen Säuren erfolgt durch Mikroorganismen, welche im die Zähne umgebenden Biofilm (Plaque) enthalten sind und Kohlenhydrate aus der Nahrung zu Säuren umsetzen. Durch die Einwirkung der bakteriellen Säuren werden Calziumphosphate aus dem Zahnschmelz gelöst und dieser kontinuierlich demineralisiert. Diese Demineralisierung führt schließlich zu der Bildung von lokalen Aushöhlungen des Zahnschmelzes und des Zahns in Form von Karies.
Zum anderen kann der Verlust von Zahnschmelz durch nicht bakterielle Säuren, welche zu einer flächigen Abtragung (auch als Erosion bezeichnet) des Zahnschmelzes führen, verursacht werden. Die Einwirkung von Säuren auf Zahnschmelz führt zu einer Entmineralisierung, welche in einer Erweichung der Zahnoberfläche sowie in einer Abnahme der Mineraldichte und Zahnhärte resultiert. Unter normalen physiologischen Bedingungen regeneriert sich der entmineralisierte Zahnschmelz durch den Speichel, welcher remineralisierende Calcium- und Phosphatverbindungen enthält. Weiterhin führt die Speichelbildung zu einem Auswaschen der Säure und zu einer Anhebung auf pH- Werte, bei welchen sich Minerale in dem Zahnschmelz ablagern können. Der vermehrte Konsum von säurehaltigen Getränken, wie Fruchtsäften, Energydrinks und colahaltigen Getränken, verhindert jedoch eine ausreichende Remineralisierung des Zahnschmelzes durch den Speichel, so daß tiefgreifende Schädigungen des Zahnes, wie Zahnverlust, Sensitivität sowie ein stumpfes Erscheinungsbild der Zähne, auftreten können.
Im Stand der Technik werden fluoridhaltige Verbindungen eingesetzt, um eine Erosion des Zahnschmelzes sowie die Entstehung von Karies zu verhindern. Jedoch kann der Einsatz von Fluorid den Verlust von Zahnschmelz und die Entstehung von Karies nicht vollständig verhindern.
Bivalente Kationen, wie beispielsweise Calcium, sind weitere wichtige Bausteine der natürlichen Remineralisierungsprozesse. Um diesen natürlichen Prozeß zu unterstützen, enthalten eine Vielzahl an Zahnpflegeformulierungen eine zusätzliche Quelle an Calcium oder weiteren bivalenten Kationen.
Calcium und Fluorid, können sofern sie als Ionen vorliegen, in der Zahnpflegeformel unlösliche Verbindungen eingehen. Dies führt zur Inaktivierung der Wirkstoffe. Der wünschenswerte Einsatz von calciumsalzen in fluoridhaltigen Mund- und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmitteln kann daher insbesondere bei der längeren Lagerung der entsprechenden Produkte zu einer Inaktivierung des Fluorids, der sogenannten„fluoride depletion", führen.
Es besteht daher ein Bedarf an Mund- und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmitteln, welche im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Produkten zu einem verringerten Verlust von Zahnschmelz sowie zu einer verringerten Entstehung von Karies führen, insbesondere auch dann, wenn die Produkte zwischen Herstellung und Anwendung längere Zeit gelagert werden oder worden sind.
Der vorliegenden Erfindung lag daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, Mund- und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel bereitzustellen, welche die Nachteile des Standes der Technik vermeiden bzw. zumindest abschwächen und welche einen verbesserten Schutz gegenüber der Erosion von Zahnschmelz sowie der Entstehung von Karies aufweisen. Weiterhin sollen diese Mittel kostengünstig herstellbar sein und eine hohe Lagerstabilität aufweisen.
Es wurde nun überraschend gefunden, daß der Einsatz von Erythritol die„fluoride depletion" deutlich verringert. In entsprechenden Produkten behält Fluorid über einen längeren Zeitraum der Lagerung in einer Zahnpflegeformulierung seine Karies-präventive Funktion.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung sind Mund- und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel, enthaltend - bezogen auf ihr Gewicht - a) 500 bis 1600 ppm Fluorid, berechnet als F~,
b) 0,001 bis 5 Gew.-% Calcium-Glycerophosphat;
c) 0,5 bis 20 Gew.-% Erythritol.
Unter „Mund- und Zahnpflegemittel" sowie „Mund- und Zahnreinigungsmittel" im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung werden Mund- und Zahnpulver, Mund- und Zahnpasten, flüssige Mund- und Zahncremes sowie Mund- und Zahngele verstanden. Besonders bevorzugt sind Zahnpasten und flüssige Zahnreinigungsmittel, welche als mehr oder weniger fließfähige oder plastische Zahnpasten vorliegen, wie sie zur Reinigung der Zähne unter Einsatz einer Zahnbürste verwendet werden.
Als ersten wesentlichen Inhaltsstoff enthalten die erfindungsgemäßen Mittel 500 bis 1600 ppm Fluorid, entsprechend 0,05 bis 0, 16 Gew.-% F~.
Besonders bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Mund- und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel sind dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie 1225 bis 1575 ppm, vorzugsweise 1250 bis 1550 ppm, weiter bevorzugt 1275 bis 1525 ppm, noch weiter bevorzugt 1300 bis 1500 ppm, noch weiter bevorzugt 1325 bis 1475 ppm und insbesondere 1350 bis 1450 ppm Fluorid enthalten.
Dieses kann in Form anorganischer Fluoridsalze (Natriumfluorid, Zinn(ll)fluorid, Natriummonofluorphosphat usw.) bereitgestellt werden, aber auch Aminfluoride wie Olaflur sind geeignet. Unabhängig von der Art der eingesetzten Fluoridverbindung wird die Einsatzmenge als F~ berechnet.
Wird Fluorid in Form von Natriumfluorid bereitgestellt, entspricht 1 Gew.-% Natriumfluorid (NaF, M = 41 ,99 gmor ) 0,4524 Gew.-% Fluorid, entsprechend ungefähr 4524 ppm Fluorid, so daß bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Mittel dadurch gekennzeichnet, sind daß sie - bezogen auf ihr Gewicht - 0,27 bis 0,35 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,28 bis 0,34 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 0,29 bis 0,33 Gew.-% und insbesondere 0,30 bis 0,32 Gew.-% Natriumfluorid enthalten.
Wird Fluorid in Form von Natriummonofluorphosphat bereitgestellt, entspricht 1 Gew.-% Natriummonofluorphosphat (Na2P03F, M = 143,95 gmol ) 0, 132 Gew.-% Fluorid, entsprechend ungefähr 1320 ppm Fluorid, so daß bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Mittel dadurch gekennzeichnet, sind daß sie - bezogen auf ihr Gewicht - 0,38 bis 1 ,2 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,4 bis 1 , 15 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 0,5 bis 1 ,1 Gew.-%, noch weiter bevorzugt 0,6 bis 1 ,05 Gew.-%, und insbesondere 0,75 bis 1 Gew.-% Natriummonofluorphosphat enthalten.
Als zweiten wesentlichen Bestandteil enthalten die erfindungsgemäßen Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel 0,001 bis 5 Gew.-% Calcium-Glycerophosphat, d.h. 0,001 bis 5 Gew.-% mindestens eines Calciumsalzes mindestens einer Glycerophosphorsäure.
Die Glycerophosphorsäure ist eine zweibasige Säure, die in zwei isomeren Formen vorkommt, je nachdem, ob die Phosphorsäuregruppierung an eine terminale oder die mediale OH-Gruppe des Glycerins gebunden vorliegt. Die Form, bei der die Phosphorsäuregruppierung an eine terminale OH-Gruppe des Glycerins gebunden vorliegt, wird auch als alpha-lsomer, die Form, bei der die Phosphorsäuregruppierung an die mediale OH-Gruppe des Glycerins gebunden vorliegt, auch als beta-lsomer bezeichnet.
Das alpha-lsomer ist zusätzlich optisch aktiv und tritt in den zwei enantiomeren Formen sn-Glycerol- 1 -phosphorsäure
sowie sn-Glycerol-3-phosphorsäure auf.
Das Präfix sn bei Glycerol-Derivaten steht für "stereospezifisch nummeriert" und verlangt, daß die 2- Hydroxy-Gruppe in der vorstehend verwendeten Fischer-Projektion nach links weist. Glycerol-2- phosphat ist nicht optisch aktiv. Die Glycerophosphorsäuren sind etwa so stark wie Phosphorsäure.
Erfindungsgemäß bevorzugt ist der Einsatz des alpha-lsomers, unabhängig davon, welches der beiden Enantiomere eingesetzt wird. Sofern der Einsatz enantiomerenreiner Verbindungen gewünscht ist, wird vorzugsweise das Calciumsalz der sn-Glycerol-3-phosphorsäure eingesetzt.
Zusammenfassend sind erfindungsgemäße Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel bevorzugt, die Calciumsalze der Glycerophosphorsäuren der Formeln (la) und (Ib) enthalten
HO-CH2-CH(OH)-CH2-OP(0)022- Ca2+ (la) HO-CH2-CH(OP(0)022 )-CH2-OH Ca2+ (Ib).
Hierbei sind besonders bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Mund und Zahnpflege- und reinigungsmittel dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Gewichtsverhältnis der Calciumsalze der Formeln (la) zu (Ib) oberhalb von 50:50, vorzugsweise oberhalb von 60:40, besonders bevorzugt oberhalb von 70:30 und insbesondere oberhalb 80:20 liegt.
Der Einsatz der Calcium-Glycerophosphate innerhalb engerer Mengenbereiche ist bevorzugt. Bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Mund- und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel enthalten - bezogen auf ihr Gewicht - 0,01 bis 2,5 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,25 bis 2,0 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt 0,05 bis 1 ,0 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 0,075 bis 0,75 Gew.-% und insbesondere 0,1 bis 0,5 Gew.-% Calcium-Glycerophosphat.
Zusätzlich zum Calcium-Glycerophosphat können die erfindungsgemäßen Mittel weitere Calciumsalze enthalten. Neben Calciumcarbonat, das als mildes Poliermittel Verwendung findet, eignen sich als Calciumionenquellen auch Calciumhydrogenphosphat-Dihydrat, CaHPO^hbO oder das Sulfat oder die Salze organischer Säuren. Besonders bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel sind dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie zusätzlich weitere Calciumsalze, vorzugsweise einen oder mehrere Vertreter aus der Gruppe Calciumcarbonat, Calciumhydrogenphosphat-Dihydrat, Calciumsulfat, Calciumlactat, Calciumcitrat, Calciumgluconat enthalten, wobei das/die weitere(n) Calciumsalz(e) besonders bevorzugt in Mengen von 0,001 bis 5 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise von 0,0025 bis 4 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt von 0,005 bis 3 Gew.-%,
besonders bevorzugt von 0,0075 bis 2 Gew.-%, noch weiter bevorzugt von 0,01 bis 1 Gew.-% und insbesondere von 0,015 bis 0,5 Gew.-%, berechnet als Ca2+, jeweils bezogen auf das gesamte Mittel, enthalten sind.
Erfindungsgemäße Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel, die als Calciumsalz Calciumhydrogenphosphat-Dihydrat, CaHPO^hhO enthalten, weisen deutliche Abrasivitätsvorteile gegenüber anderen Mitteln auf. Demnach sind erfindungsgemäße Mund und Zahnpflege- und - reinigungsmittel bevorzugt, die 0,25 bis 7,5 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,5 bis 7,0 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt 1 ,0 bis 6,0 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 2,0 bis 5,0 Gew.-% und insbesondere 3,5 bis 4,5 Gew.-% Calciumhydrogenphosphat-Dihydrat enthalten.
Als dritten wesentlichen Bestandteil enthalten die erfindungsgemäßen Mund und Zahnpflege- und - reinigungsmittel 0,5 bis 20 Gew.-% Erythritol (Erythrit bzw. (2S,3R)-Butan-1 ,2,3,4-tetrol). Überraschenderweise wird durch den Einsatz von Erythrit eine Inaktivierung von Fluorid durch Calciumsalze effektiv verhindert, so daß die erfindungsgemäßen Mittel eine deutlich höhere Lagerstabilität aufweisen und nach längeren Lagerzeiten deutlich effektiver vor der Erosion von Zahnschmelz sowie der Entstehung von Karies schützen.
Vorzugsweise sind hohe Erythrit-Mengen zur Erzielung des erfindungsgemäßen Effekts gar nicht nötig, so daß bevorzugte Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel - bezogen auf ihr Gewicht - 0,75 bis 17,5 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 1 bis 15 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 1 ,25 bis 12,5 Gew.-% und insbesondere 1 ,5 bis 10 Gew.-% Erythritol enthalten.
Zusätzlich zum Erythritol können die erfindungsgemäßen Mittel weitere Zuckeralkohole enthalten. Diese haben interessanterweise in Bezug auf die„fluoride depletion" keinerlei Wirkung, verhindern aber bei Zahnpasten das Austrocknen. Bei sogenannten Flüssigzahncremes mit fließfähiger Rheologie dienen diese als Matrix und werden in höheren Mengen eingesetzt.
Hier sind erfindungsgemäße Mund- und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel bevorzugt, die - bezogen auf ihr Gewicht - 0,5 bis 60 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,75 bis 55 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt 1 bis 50 Gew.-% und insbesondere 2 bis 40 Gew.-% mindestens eines mehrwertigen Alkohols aus der Gruppe Sorbit und/oder Glycerin und/oder 1 ,2-Propylenglycol.-% oder deren Mischungen enthalten.
Für bestimmte Anwendungsbereiche kann es vorteilhaft sein, nur einen der drei oben genannten Inhaltsstoffe einzusetzen. In den meisten Fällen ist dabei Sorbit bevorzugt. Allerdings können auf anderen Anwendungsgebieten Mischungen von zwei der drei Stoffe oder aller drei Stoffe bevorzugt sein. Besonders vorteilhaft hat sich hier eine Mischung aus Glycerin, Sorbit und 1 ,2-Propylenglycol in einem Gewichtsverhältnis von 1 :(0,5-1 ):(0,1-0,5) erwiesen.
Neben Sorbit bzw. Glycerin bzw. 1 ,2-Propylenglycol eignen sich als weitere mehrwertige Alkohole solche mit mindestens 2 OH-Gruppen, vorzugsweise Mannit, Xylitol, Polyethylenglycol, Polypropylenglycol und deren Mischungen. Unter diesen Verbindungen sind diejenigen mit 2 bis 12 OH-Gruppen und insbesondere diejenigen mit 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 oder 10 OH-Gruppen bevorzugt.
Polyhydroxyverbindungen mit 2 OH-Gruppen sind beispielsweise Glycol (CH2(OH)CH20H) und andere 1 ,2-Diole wie H-(CH2)n-CH(OH)CH2OH mit n = 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 1 1 , 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20. Auch 1 ,3-Diole wie H-(CH2)n-CH(OH) CH2CH2OH mit n = 1 , 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 1 1 , 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 sind erfindungsgemäß einsetzbar. Die (n,n+1 )- bzw. (n,n+2)- Diole mit nicht endständigen OH-Gruppen können ebenfalls eingesetzt werden. Wichtige Vertreter von Polyhydroxyverbindungen mit 2 OH-Gruppen sind auch die Polyethylen- und Polypropylenglycole. Als bevorzugte weitere mehrwertige Alkohole können z. B. Xylit, Propylenglycole, Polyethylenglycole, insbesondere solche mit mittleren Molekulargewichten von 200-800 eingesetzt werden.
Besonders bevorzugt ist der Einsatz von Sorbit, so daß Mittel, die außer Sorbit keine anderen mehrwertigen Alkohole enthalten, besonders bevorzugt sind.
Es ist außerordentlich bevorzugt, Erythtritol c) und Calcium-Glycerophosphat b) in bestimmten Gewichtsverhältnissen zueinander einzusetzen, wobei ein Überschuß von Erythtritol bevorzugt ist. Besonders bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel sind dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Gewichtsverhältnis von Erythtritol c) zu Calcium-Glycerophosphat b) (berechnet als CsHzCaOeP) bei > 5: 1 , vorzugsweise bei > 7,5: 1 , besonders bevorzugt bei > 10:1 , weiter bevorzugt bei > 15: 1 , noch weiter bevorzugt bei > 20: 1 und insbesondere bei > 25: 1 liegt.
Enthalten die erfindungsgemäßen Mittel zusätzlich zu Calcium-Glycerophosphat b) weitere(s) Calciumsalz(e), so ist es bevorzugt, daß Erythrit im Überschuß zu Calcium eingesetzt sind. Hier sind erfindungsgemäße Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel bevorzugt, bei denen das Gewichtsverhältnis von Erythritol c) zu Calciumsalz(en) (berechnet als Ca2+) bei > 5:1 , vorzugsweise bei > 10: 1 , besonders bevorzugt bei > 25: 1 , weiter bevorzugt bei > 50: 1 , noch weiter bevorzugt bei > 75: 1 und insbesondere bei > 100:1 liegt.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Zusammensetzungen können zusätzlich mindestens ein Poliermittel enthalten. Als Poliermittel eignen sich prinzipiell alle für Zahnpasten bekannten Reibkörper enthalten. Bevorzugt geeignete Poliermittel-komponenten sind daher Kieselsäuren, Aluminiumhydroxid, Aluminiumoxid, Natrium-aluminiumsilikate, organische Polymere oder Gemische solcher Reibkörper.
Der Gesamtgehalt an Poliermitteln liegt vorzugsweise im Bereich von 5 - 50 Gew.-% des Zahnpflegemittels. Erfindungsgemäß bevorzugte Mittel enthalten Poliermittel innerhalb engerer Mengenbereiche. Hier sind erfindungsgemäß bevorzugte Mund- und Zahnpflege- und - reinigungsmittel dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie - bezogen auf ihr Gewicht - 1 bis 25 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 2,5 bis 20 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 5 bis 18 Gew.-% und insbesondere 7,5 bis 16 Gew.-% Poliermittel enthalten. In die vorstehend genannten Mengen ist ein eventueller Gehalt an Calciumcarbonat oder Dicalcium-phosphat-dihydrat einzubeziehen.
Besonders geeignet sind Zahnpasten und flüssige Zahnreinigungsmittel, die als Poliermittel Kieselsäuren enthalten. Geeignete Kieselsäuren sind z.B. Gelkieselsäuren, Hydrogelkieselsäuren und Fällungskieselsäuren. Gelkieselsäuren werden durch Umsetzung von Natriumsilikatlösungen mit starken, wässrigen Mineralsäuren unter Ausbildung eines Hydrosols, Alterung zum Hydrogel, Waschen und Trocknen hergestellt. Erfolgt die Trocknung unter schonenden Bedingungen auf Wassergehalte von 15 bis 35 Gew.-%, so werden die so genannten Hydrogelkieselsäuren erhalten. Durch Trocknung auf Wassergehalte unterhalb 15 Gew.-% erfolgt eine irreversible Schrumpfung der vorher lockeren Struktur des Hydrogels zur dichten Struktur des sog. Xerogels.
Eine zweite, besonders geeignete Gruppe von Kieselsäure-Poliermitteln sind die Fällungskieselsäuren. Diese werden durch Ausfällung von Kieselsäure aus verdünnten Alkalisilikat-Lösungen durch Zugabe von starken Säuren unter Bedingungen erhalten, bei welchen die Aggregation zum Sol und Gel nicht eintreten kann. Geeignete Verfahren zur Bevorzugt geeignet ist eine Fällungskieselsäure mit einer BET-Oberfläche von 15 - 1 10 m2/g, einer Partikelgröße von 0,5 - 20 μιη, wobei wenigstens 80 Gew.-% der Primärpartikel unter 5 μιη liegen sollen, und einer Viskosität in 30 %iger Glycerin-Wasser-(1 : 1 )-Dispersion von 30 - 60 Pa.s (20°C) in einer Menge von 10 - 20 Gew.-% der Zahnpaste. Bevorzugt geeignete Fällungskieselsäuren dieser Art weisen außerdem gerundete Ecken und Kanten auf und sind unter der Handelsbezeichnung Sident®12 DS (DEGUSSA) erhältlich.
Andere Fällungskieselsäuren dieser Art sind Sident® 8 (Evonik) und Sorbosil® AC 39 (PQ Corporation). Diese Kieselsäuren zeichnen sich durch eine geringere Verdickungswirkung und eine etwas höhere mittlere Teilchengröße von 8— 14 μιη bei einer spezifischen Oberfläche von 40 - 75 m2/g (nach BET) aus und eignen sich besonders gut für flüssige Zahncremes. Diese sollten eine Viskosität (25°C, Scherrate D = 10 s-1) von 10 - 100 Pas aufweisen.
Zahnpasten, die eine deutlich höhere Viskosität von mehr als 100 Pas (25° C, D = 10 s~ ) aufweisen, benötigen hingegen einen genügend hohen Anteil an Kieselsäuren mit einer Teilchengröße von weniger als 5 μιη, bevorzugt wenigstens 3 Gew.-% einer Kieselsäure mit einer Partikelgröße von 1 - 3 μιη. Solchen Zahnpasten setzt man daher bevorzugt neben den genannten Fällungskieselsäuren noch feinteiligere, so genannte Verdickungs-Kieselsäuren mit einer BET-Oberfläche von 150 - 250 m2/g zu, z.B. das Handelsprodukt Sident® 22S.
Als weitere Poliermittelkomponente kann auch z.B. Aluminiumoxid in Form von schwach calcinierter Tonerde mit einem Gehalt an - und -Aluminiumoxid in einer Menge von ca. 1 - 5 Gew.-% enthalten sein. Ein solches geeignetes Aluminiumoxid ist unter der Handelsbezeichnung "Poliertonerde P10 feinst" (Giulini Chemie) erhältlich.
Als Poliermittel eignen sich weiter alle für Zahnpasten bekannten Reibkörper wie z. B. Natriumaluminiumsilikate wie z. B. Zeolith A, organische Polymere wie z. B. Polymethacrylat oder Gemische dieser und der vorstehend genannten Reibkörper.
Zusammenfassend sind erfindungsgemäße Mund- und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel bevorzugt, die zusätzlich Putzkörper, vorzugsweise Kieselsäuren, Aluminiumhydroxid, Aluminiumoxid, Calciumpyrophosphat, Kreide, Dicalciumphosphat-dihydrat (CaHPC -2H20), Natriumaluminiumsilikate, insbesondere Zeolith A, organische Polymere, insbesondere Polymethacrylate oder Gemische dieser Reibkörper, vorzugsweise in Mengen von 1 bis 30 Gew.%, vorzugsweise von 2,5 bis 25 Gew.% und insbesondere von 5 bis 22 Gew.%, jeweils bezogen auf das gesamte Mittel, enthalten.
Ganz besonders bevorzugt enthalten die erfindungsgemäßen Zusammensetzungen bezogen auf ihr Gewicht 1 bis 30 Gew.-% Fällungskieselsäure(n) mit einer spezifischen Oberfläche nach ISO 5794- 1 , Anhang D von < 55 m2/g. Vorzugsweise werden die Fällungskieselsäuren, die entsprechende spezifische Oberflächen aufweisen, innerhalb engerer Mengenbereiche eingesetzt, und insbesondere bevorzugt werden Fällungskieselsäuren eingesetzt, die noch niedrigere spezifische Oberflächen nach ISO 5794-1 , Anhang D aufweisen. Bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Mund- und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel enthalten 2,5 bis 25 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 5 bis 20 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt 7,5 bis 17,5 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 8,0 bis 15,0 Gew.-% und insbesondere 10,0 bis 13,0 Gew.-% Fällungskieselsäure(n) mit einer spezifischen Oberfläche nach ISO 5794-1 , Anhang D von < 55 m2/g.
Besonders bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel sind dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sämtliche im Mittel enthaltenen Fällungskieselsäure(n) eine spezifische Oberfläche nach ISO 5794-1 , Anhang D von < 53 m2/g, vorzugsweise von < 51 m2/g, weiter bevorzugt von < 49 m2/g und insbesondere von < 47 m2/g aufweisen.
Auch oberflächenaktive Substanzen sind in den erfindungsgemäßen Mitteln einsetzbar. Sie dienen beispielsweise in Zahnpasten zur Unterstützung der Reinigungswirkung und gewünschtenfalls auch zur Entwicklung von Schaum beim Zähnebürsten sowie zur Stabilisierung der Polierkörperdispersion im Träger und werden üblicherweise in einer Menge von 0,1-5 Gew.-% eingesetzt.
Geeignete Tenside sind z. B. lineare Natriumalkylsulfate mit 12-18 C-Atomen in der Alkylgruppe. Diese Stoffe weisen zusätzlich eine enzymhemmende Wirkung auf den bakteriellen Stoffwechsel des Zahnbelags auf. Weitere geeignete Tenside sind Alkalisalze, bevorzugt Natriumsalze von Alkylpolyglycolethersulfat mit 12-16 C-Atomen in der linearen Alkylgruppe und 2-6 Glycolethergruppen im Molekül, von linearem Alkan(Ci2- Cis)-sulfonat, von
Sulfobernsteinsäuremonoalkyl(Ci2-Ci8)-estern, von sulfatisierten Fettsäuremonoglyceriden, sulfatisierten Fettsäurealkanolamiden, Sulfoessigsäurealkyl(Ci2-Ci6 )-estern, Acylsarcosinen, Acyltauriden und Acylisothionaten mit jeweils 8-18 C-Atomen in der Acylgruppe. Auch zwitterionische, ampholytische und nichtionische Tenside sind geeignet, z. B. Oxethylate von Fettsäuremono- und -diglyceriden, von Fettsäure-Sorbitanestern und Alkyl(oligo)-Glucoside sowie Fettsäureamidoalkylbetaine.
Es ist erfindungsgemäß bevorzugt, den Einsatz von Tensiden weitestgehend zu beschränken, um die Wirkung der erfindungsgemäßen Kombination noch deutlicher in den Vordergrund treten lassen zu können. Daher sind erfindungsgemäße Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel, die - bezogen auf ihr Gewicht - weniger als 5 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise weniger als 4 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt weniger als 3 Gew.-% und insbesondere weniger als 2 Gew.-% Tensid(e) enthalten, erfindungsgemäß besonders bevorzugt.
Ganz besonders bevorzugt ist es, insbesondere den Einsatz anionischer Tenside weitestgehend zu beschränken oder ganz auf diese Tenside zu verzichten. Hier sind bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie weniger als 2 Gew.- %, vorzugsweise weniger als 1 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt weniger als 0,5 Gew.-% und insbesondere weniger als 0, 1 Gew.-% anionische(s) Tensid(e) enthalten, wobei bevorzugte Mittel frei von anionischen Tensiden sind.
Sofern Tenside - vorzugsweise innerhalb der vorstehend genannten Höchstgrenzen - eingesetzt werden sollen, ist der Einsatz amphoterer Tenside bevorzugt. Bevorzugte tensidhaltige erfindungsgemäße Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel enthalten 0,1 bis 5 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,25 bis 4 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt 0,5 bis 3,0 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 0,75 bis 2,0 Gew.-% und insbesondere 1 ,0 bis 1 ,5 Gew.-% amphotere(s) Tensid(e).
Insbesondere bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel dieser Ausführungsform enthalten 0,1 bis 5 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,2 bis 4 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt 0,25 bis 3 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 0,3 bis 2 Gew.-% und insbesondere 0,4 bis 0,8 Gew.-% Cocoamidopropylbetain.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Mittel können auch zusätzlich weitere wundheilende und entzündungshemmende Stoffe, z. B. Wirkstoffe gegen Zahnfleischentzündungen, enthalten. Derartige Stoffe können z. B. ausgewählt sein aus Allantoin, Azulen, Kamillenextrakten, Tocopherol, Panthenol, Bisabolol, Salbeiextrakten.
Mund- und Zahnpflege- und reinigungsmittel können z.B. auch Substanzen enthalten, die gegen Plaque und/oder Zahnstein wirksam sind.
Gegen Zahnstein wirksame Stoffe können beispielsweise Chelatbildner sein wie z. B. Ethylendiamintetraessigsäure und deren Natriumsalze, Pyrophosphat- Salze wie die
wasserlöslichen Dialkali- oder Tetraalkalimetallpyrophosphat- Salze, z. B. Na4P20, K4P 2O7, Na2K2P2Ü 7, Na2H2P207 und K 2H2P2O7 oder Polyphosphat-Salze, die z. B. aus wasserlöslichen Alkalimethalltripolyphosphaten wie Natriumtripolyphosphat und Kaliumtripolyphosphat ausgewählt sein können.
Erfindungsgemäß bevorzugte Mund- und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel sind dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie zusätzlich Phosphat(e), vorzugsweise Alkalimetallphosphat(e) und insbesondere Natriumtripolyphosphat, vorzugsweise in Mengen von 1 bis 10 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt von 2 bis 8 Gew.-% und insbesondere von 3 bis 7 Gew.-%, jeweils bezogen auf das gesamte Mittel, enthalten.
Als Konsistenzregler (bzw. Bindemittel) dienen z. B. natürliche und/oder synthetische wasserlösliche Polymere wie Alginate, Carragheenate, Traganth, Stärke und Stärkeether, Celluloseether wie z. B. Carboxymethylcellulose (Na-Salz), Hydroxyethylcellulose, Methylhydroxypropylcellulose, Guar, Akaziengum, Agar-Agar, Xanthan- Gum, Succinoglycan-Gum, Johannisbrotmehl, Pectine, wasserlösliche Carboxyvinylpolymere (z. B. Carbopo D-Typen), Polyvinylalkohol, Polyvinylpyrrolidon, Polyethylenglycole, insbesondere solche mit Molekulargewichten von 1 500-1 000 000.
Weitere Stoffe, die sich zur Viskositätskontrolle eignen, sind z. B. Schichtsilikate wie z. B. Montmorillonit-Tone, kolloidale Verdickungskieselsäuren wie z. B. Aerogel-Kieselsäuren, pyrogene Kieselsäuren oder feinstvermahlene Fällungskieselsäuren. Es können auch Viskositätsstabilisierende Zusätze aus der Gruppe der kationischen, zwitterionischen oder ampholytischen stickstoffhaltigen Tenside, der hydroxypropylsubstituierten Hydrocolloide oder der Polyethylenglycol/Polypropylenglycol- Copolymere mit einem mittleren Molgewicht von 1000 bis 5000 oder eine Kombination der genannten Verbindungen in den Zahnpasten verwendet werden.
Es hat sich gezeigt, dass die Viskositätseinstellung mittels Xanthan die erfindungsgemäßen Effekte unterstützt. Xanthan bzw. Xanthangummi ist ein natürlicher, nachwachsender Rohstoff und wird als ein anionisches Polysaccharid vom Bakterium Xanthomonas campestris ausgeschieden.
Das Molekülgewicht des eingesetzten Xanthangummis beträgt bevorzugt 2 06 bis 20 106 g/mol.
Besonders bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel enthalten - bezogen auf ihr Gewicht - 0, 15 bis 5 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,2 bis 4 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt 0,25 bis 2,5 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 0,3 bis 1 ,5 Gew.-%, noch weiter bevorzugt 0,35 bis 1 ,25 Gew.- % und insbesondere 0,4 bis 1 Gew.-% Xanthan.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Mittel können z.B. durch Zusatz von Aromaölen und Süßungsmitteln in ihren organoleptischen Eigenschaften verbessert werden.
Als Aromaöle können alle die für Mund- und Zahnpflegemittel üblichen natürlichen und synthetischen Aromen eingesetzt werden. Natürliche Aromen können sowohl in Form der aus Drogen isolierten natürlichen ätherischen Öle als auch der daraus isolierten Einzelkomponenten enthalten sein.
Geeignete Aromen sind z.B. Pfeife rminzöl, Krauseminzöl, Eukalyptusöl, Anisöl, Fenchelöl, Kümmelöl, Menthylacetat, Zimtaldehyd, Anethol, Vanillin, Thymol sowie Mischungen dieser Komponenten. Im
Geeignete Süßungsmittel sind z.B. Saccharin-Natrium, Natrium-Cyclamat, Sucrose, Lactose, Meltose, Fructose.
Weitere übliche Hilfs- und Zusatzstoffe für Zahnpasten und Mundwässer oder Mundspüllösungen sind
Lösungsmittel und Lösungsvermittler, z.B. niedere einwertige oder mehrwertige Alkohole oder Ether, z.B. Ethanol, 1 ,2-Propylenglycol, Diethylenglycol oder Butyldiglycol
Pigmente, wie z.B. Titandioxid
Farbstoffe
Puffersubstanzen, z.B. primäre, sekundäre oder tertiäre Alkaliphosphate oder Citronen- säure-/Na-Citrat
weitere wundheilende oder entzündungshemmende Stoffe, z.B. Allantoin, Harnstoff, Azulen,
Kamillewirkstoffe, Acetylsalicylsäurederivate oder Rhodanid
weitere Vitamine wie z.B. Ascorbinsäure, Biotin, Tocopherol oder Rutin
Mineralsalze wie z.B. Mangan-, Zink- oder Magnesiumsalze.
Beispiele:
Es wurden folgende Zahncremes bereitgestellt (alle Angaben in Gew.-%)
Die erfindungsgemäße Zahncreme E und das Vergleichsbeispiel V (Fehlen von Erythritol) wurden hergestellt und Proben der jeweiligen Zahncremes 6 bzw. 12 Wochen bei Raumtemperatur (20°C), bei 40°C und bei 45°C (Langzeitlagerung) gelagert.
Nach Ablauf des jeweiligen Lagerzeitraums wurde die Fluoridmenge bestimmt.

Die Ergebnisse zeigen die Fluorid-stabilisierende Wirkung von Erythritol. Besonders deutlich werden die Effekte in Gegenwart von hohen Temperaturen, die zur beschleunigten Formelalterung genutzt werden.
Claims
1. Mund- und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel, enthaltend - bezogen auf sein Gewicht - a) 500 bis 1600 ppm Fluorid, berechnet als F~,
b) 0,001 bis 5 Gew.-% Calcium-Glycerophosphat;
c) 0,5 bis 20 Gew.-% Erythritol.
2. Mund- und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es 1225 bis 1575 ppm, vorzugsweise 1250 bis 1550 ppm, weiter bevorzugt 1275 bis 1525 ppm, noch weiter bevorzugt 1300 bis 1500 ppm, noch weiter bevorzugt 1325 bis 1475 ppm und insbesondere 1350 bis 1450 ppm Fluorid enthält.
3. Mund- und Zahnpflege- und reinigungsmittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es - bezogen auf sein Gewicht - 0,27 bis 0,35 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,28 bis 0,34 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 0,29 bis 0,33 Gew.-% und insbesondere 0,30 bis 0,32 Gew.- % Natriumfluorid enthält.
4. Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es - bezogen auf sein Gewicht - 0,38 bis 1 ,2 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,4 bis 1 , 15 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 0,5 bis 1 ,1 Gew.-%, noch weiter bevorzugt 0,6 bis 1 ,05 Gew.- %, und insbesondere 0,75 bis 1 Gew.-% Natriummonofluorphosphat enthält.
5. Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es - bezogen auf sein Gewicht - 0,01 bis 2,5 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,25 bis 2,0 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt 0,05 bis 1 ,0 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 0,075 bis 0,75 Gew.- % und insbesondere 0, 1 bis 0,5 Gew.-% Calcium-Glycerophosphat enthält.
6. Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es - bezogen auf sein Gewicht - 0,75 bis 17,5 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 1 bis 15 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 1 ,25 bis 12,5 Gew.-% und insbesondere 1 ,5 bis 10 Gew.-% Erythritol enthält.
7. Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es zusätzlich weitere Calciumsalze, vorzugsweise einen oder mehrere Vertreter aus der Gruppe Calciumcarbonat, Calciumhydrogenphosphat-Dihydrat, Calciumsulfat, Calciumlactat, Calciumcitrat, Calciumgluconat enthält, wobei das/die weitere(n) Calciumsalz(e) besonders bevorzugt in Mengen von 0,001 bis 5 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise von 0,0025 bis 4 Gew.- %, weiter bevorzugt von 0,005 bis 3 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt von 0,0075 bis 2 Gew.-%,
noch weiter bevorzugt von 0,01 bis 1 Gew.-% und insbesondere von 0,015 bis 0,5 Gew.-%, berechnet als Ca2+, jeweils bezogen auf das gesamte Mittel, enthalten sind.
8. Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Gewichtsverhältnis von Erythtritol c) zu Calcium-Glycerophosphat b) (berechnet als CsH/CaCteP) bei > 5: 1 , vorzugsweise bei > 7,5: 1 , besonders bevorzugt bei > 10:1 , weiter bevorzugt bei > 15: 1 , noch weiter bevorzugt bei > 20: 1 und insbesondere bei > 25:1 liegt.
9. Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Gewichtsverhältnis von Erythritol c) zu Calciumsalz(en) (berechnet als Ca2+) bei > 5:1 , vorzugsweise bei > 10: 1 , besonders bevorzugt bei > 25: 1 , weiter bevorzugt bei > 50: 1 , noch weiter bevorzugt bei > 75: 1 und insbesondere bei > 100: 1 liegt.
10. Mund und Zahnpflege- und -reinigungsmittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es - bezogen auf sein Gewicht - 0, 15 bis 5 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,2 bis 4 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt 0,25 bis 2,5 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 0,3 bis 1 ,5 Gew.-%, noch weiter bevorzugt 0,35 bis 1 ,25 Gew.-% und insbesondere 0,4 bis 1 Gew.-% Xanthan enthält.
