DOMAINE DE L'INVENTION
La présente demande concerne le domaine des instruments d'écriture, et plus particulièrement des instruments d'écriture procurant plusieurs possibilités d'écriture avec une seule et même pointe, ou à pointe d'écriture à usages multiple.
ETAT DE LA TECHNIQUE ANTERIEURE
On connaît de nombreux instruments d'écritures. Toutefois, aucun instrument d'écriture connu ne présente un seule et unique pointe simple à fabriquer, robuste, et présentant de plusieurs possibilités d'écriture différentes. Il existe donc un besoin en ce sens
PRESENTATION DE L'INVENTION
Un mode de réalisation concerne un instrument d'écriture comprenant un corps et une pointe d'écriture montée sur le corps, le corps et la pointe d'écriture s'étendant selon une direction axiale, la pointe d'écriture présentant une portion d'extrémité distale ayant une section transversale en forme de « U ».
On comprend qu'une « portion d'extrémité distale » est une portion de la pointe qui s'étend depuis l'extrémité distale de la pointe d'écriture (i.e. l'extrémité distale d'écriture) sur tout ou partie de la partie visible de la pointe lorsque la pointe est montée sur le corps.
On comprend donc que la portion d'extrémité distale présente la forme générale d'un profilé de section transverse (i.e. perpendiculaire à la direction axiale) en forme de « U », cette section pouvant bien entendu évoluer selon la direction axiale, tout en conservant une forme générale de « U ». En d'autres termes, la portion d'extrémité distale de la pointe d'écriture est de forme sensiblement parallélépipédique présentant une rainure sur une de ses faces latérales, ladite rainure étant débouchante sur l'extrémité distale de la pointe d'écriture.
Cette forme de « U » permet de former plusieurs portions permettant d'écrire, ces portions pouvant être de dimensions différentes, grâce à quoi plusieurs largeurs de traits sont possibles, tout en étant simple à fabriquer et robuste. De plus, la partie supérieure du « U » (i.e. les extrémités distales des barres verticales du « U »), permet d'écrire en formant deux traits parallèles (i.e. un trait « double »). En d'autres termes, la forme de la section de la portion d'extrémité distale est strictement en forme de « U » et ne présente aucune concavité procurant une certaine propriété géométrique au trait que l'utilisateur peut former à partir de la pointe autre que la concavité du « U ».
Dans certains modes de réalisation, la portion d'extrémité distale comprend une extrémité distale d'écriture, le pourtour extérieur de la forme en « U » de l'extrémité distale d'écriture formant une pluralité de bords d'écriture.
On comprend donc qu'à l'exception du contour intérieur de la forme en « U » (i.e. les bords de la concavité du « U »), tous les bords formant le pourtour de la forme en « U » forment chacun un bord d'écriture, i.e. un bord par lequel l'utilisateur peut écrire. La pointe forme ainsi trois bords d'écriture simple (face inférieure extérieure du « U » et les deux faces latérales extérieures du « U »), et un bord pour une écriture « double » (deux faces supérieures extérieure des barres verticales du « U »).
Une telle pointe offre ainsi à l'utilisateur de nombreuses possibilités d'écriture, tout en étant simple à réaliser et robuste. Par ailleurs, le fait que les parties d'écriture soient formées par des bords, renforce la précision de l'écriture.
Dans certains modes de réalisation, la portion d'extrémité distale comprend une face d'extrémité distale s'étendant sensiblement transversalement à la direction axiale tandis que chaque bord d'écriture est formé par un chanfrein arrondi formé sur une portion de la périphérie de la face d'extrémité distale. De tels chanfreins sont simples à fabriquer et robustes, et procurent de nombreuses possibilités d'utilisation.
Par « sensiblement transversalement », on entend que la face d'extrémité distale forme un angle compris entre 60 et 90° avec la direction axiale. On comprend que la pointe d'écriture est configurée pour que l'utilisateur écrive avec les bords chanfreinés, et pas avec la face d'extrémité distale. De tels bords chanfreinés sont simples à fabriquer tout en procurant une grande précision d'écriture. Par exemple, les formes des chanfreins résultent du moulage de la pointe d'écriture, i.e. aucun usinage après le moulage n'est nécessaire pour obtenir ces chanfreins.
Dans certains modes de réalisation, la forme de la section transversale de la portion d'extrémité distale (i.e. le « U ») présente un plan axial de symétrie. Notamment, on assure ainsi que les deux barres verticales du « U » sont similaires. Ceci procure une plus grande facilité d'utilisation, une plus grande polyvalence, facilite encore la fabrication et améliore la robustesse. En particulier, une telle symétrie permet le même confort d'utilisation tant pour les droitiers que pour les gauchers.
Dans certains modes de réalisation, la face extérieure de la partie de la portion d'extrémité distale formant la barre horizontale inférieure du « U » est inclinée par rapport à la direction axiale.
Par exemple, cette face est plane. Une telle inclinaison forme un dégagement procurant un certain confort d'utilisation, tout en étant simple à fabriquer en assurant la robustesse de la pointe.
Dans certains modes de réalisation, la pointe d'écriture présente une extrémité distale d'écriture, tandis que la face intérieure de la partie de la portion d'extrémité distale formant la barre horizontale inférieure du « U », au voisinage de l'extrémité distale d'écriture, est courbe selon la direction axiale et suit un profil du type conique à rayon variable selon la direction axiale.
Par « voisinage de l'extrémité distale d'écriture » on entend la partie de la portion d'extrémité distale adjacente à l'extrémité distale d'écriture.
Par exemple, le profil répond à l'équation :

On comprend donc que la portion d'extrémité distale présente un tel profil depuis l'extrémité distale de la pointe, et peut éventuellement présenter un profil d'une autre forme selon la direction axiale au-delà de ce profil courbe en allant vers l'extrémité proximale de la pointe, mais pas nécessairement. Par exemple cet autre profil est constant selon la direction axiale. Un tel profil de type conique permets de s'assurer que, selon la direction axiale, la cavité du « U » sera minimisée sur la majorité de la portion d'extrémité axiale et maximale à l'extrémité distale elle-même, et ce suivant une évolution non-linéaire selon la direction axiale. Ceci permets de ménager un dégagement formé par la cavité interne du « U » suffisant pour procurer un confort d'utilisation suffisant, en particulier lorsque l'utilisateur utilise la partie supérieure du « U », tout en procurant à la portion d'extrémité distale une rigidité suffisante, par l'épaisseur de matière, pour qu'elle ne se déforme pas ou de manière acceptable. Ce profil est donc facile à fabriquer et procure une certaine robustesse à la pointe.
Dans certains modes de réalisation, la portion d'extrémité distale comprend une face d'extrémité distale, l'épaisseur de chacune des barres formant le « U » de la face d'extrémité distale est comprise entre 0.5 mm (cinq dixièmes de millimètre) et 1.0 mm (un millimètre).
On comprend donc que chacune des barres du « U » de la face d'extrémité distale présente une telle épaisseur. Une telle épaisseur permet de s'assurer de la rigidité et de la tenue mécanique de la pointe lorsque l'utilisateur appuie dessus pour écrire tout en étant facile à fabriquer.
Dans certains modes de réalisation, la pointe d'écriture est en poudre frittée.
Par exemple la poudre est une poudre de plastique telle que du polyéthylène (également connu sous l'acronyme « PE »). Un tel matériau, et le procédé de mise en œuvre par frittage est particulièrement bien adapté à la production à grande échelle d'une telle pointe d'écriture, qui est donc facile à fabriquer et robuste.
Dans certains modes de réalisation, l'instrument d'écriture forme un surligneur.

DESCRIPTION DETAILLEE D'EXEMPLES DE REALISATION
Un mode de réalisation de l'invention est décrit en référence aux figures 1 à 5. La figure 1 représente un instrument d'écriture 10, dans cet exemple un surligneur 10, comprenant un corps 12, une pointe d'écriture 14 et un capuchon 16. L'instrument d'écriture 10, et plus particulièrement le corps 12 et la pointe d'écriture 14 s'étendent selon une direction axiale X.
La pointe d'écriture 14 comprend une extrémité distale d'écriture 14A et une extrémité proximale 14B. L'extrémité proximale 14B est mise en contact fluidique avec un réservoir d'encre (non représenté) disposé au sein du corps 10, pour assurer l'alimentation en encre de la pointe d'écriture 14. Plus particulièrement la pointe d'écriture 14 comprend une portion 15A qui est visible lorsque la pointe 14 est montée sur le corps 12 et une portion 15B qui sert à son montage sur le corps 12.
La portion 15A comprend une face proximale 15AA qui forme un épaulement configuré pour coopérer en appui avec le corps 12. Cet épaulement sert notamment à bloquer la pointe 14 de manière à ce que la portion 15A reste à l'extérieur du corps 12 lorsqu'on utilise la pointe d'écriture 14.

La face d'extrémité distale 18A présente bien entendu une forme en « U ». L'épaisseur el des barres verticales du « U » de la face d'extrémité distale 18A est comprise entre 0.5 mm et 1.0 mm. L'épaisseur e2 de la barre horizontale du « U » de la face d'extrémité distale 18A est également comprise entre 0.5mm et 1.0mm. Dans cet exemple, el est égal à 0.81mm tandis que e2 est égal à 0.75mm. De manière générale, pour assurer une bonne tenue mécanique de la pointe, au plus e2 est petit, au plus el doit être grand. Ainsi, dans cet exemple, la face intérieure 18BB présente une portion distale 18BB1 présentant, selon la direction axiale X, un profil du type conique à rayon variable selon la direction axiale X répondant à l'équation (3) et une portion proximale 18BB2 présentant un profil constant rectiligne selon la direction axiale X qui se raccorde de manière continue au profil du type conique. Dans cet exemple, un congé 18C permet de raccorder la face intérieure 18BB au reste de la paroi de la pointe tout en assurant une continuité géométrique selon la direction axiale X. Le profil courbe du type conique de la portion distale 18BB1 se raccorde également de manière continue à la face d'extrémité distale 18A.
Dans cet exemple, la pointe d'écriture 14 est en poudre frittée. Dans cet exemple, la poudre est du polyéthylène.
Bien entendu, d'autres matériaux et/ou d'autres modes de fabrication (autre que le frittage) peuvent également servir à fabriquer la pointe d'écriture 14.
Bien que la présente invention ait été décrite en se référant à des exemples de réalisation spécifiques, il est évident que des modifications et des changements peuvent être effectués sur ces exemples sans sortir de la portée générale de l'invention telle que définie par les revendications. En particulier, des caractéristiques individuelles des différents modes de réalisation illustrés/mentionnés peuvent être combinées dans des modes de réalisation additionnels. Par conséquent, la description et les dessins doivent être considérés dans un sens illustratif plutôt que restrictif.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1. Instrument d'écriture comprenant un corps (12) et une pointe d'écriture (14) montée sur le corps (12), le corps (12) et la pointe d'écriture (14) s'étendant selon une direction axiale (X), la pointe d'écriture (14) présentant une portion d'extrémité distale (18) ayant une section transversale perpendiculaire à la direction axiale (X) en forme de « U ».
2. Instrument d'écriture selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la portion d'extrémité distale (18) comprend une extrémité distale d'écriture (14A), le pourtour extérieur (180) de la forme en « U » de l'extrémité distale d'écriture (14A) formant une pluralité de bords d'écriture (180A).
3. Instrument d'écriture selon la revendication 2, dans lequel la portion d'extrémité distale (18) comprend une face d'extrémité distale (18A) s'étendant sensiblement transversalement à la direction axiale (X) tandis que chaque bord d'écriture (180A) est formé par un chanfrein arrondi formé sur une portion de la périphérie de la face d'extrémité distale (18A).
4. Instrument d'écriture selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, dans lequel la forme de la section transversale de la portion d'extrémité distale (18) présente un plan axial de symétrie (P).
5. Instrument d'écriture selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, dans lequel la face extérieure (18BA) de la partie (18B) de la portion d'extrémité distale (18) formant la barre horizontale inférieure du « U » est inclinée par rapport à la direction axiale (X).
6. Instrument d'écriture selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, dans lequel la pointe d'écriture présente une extrémité distale d'écriture, tandis que la face intérieure (18BB) de la partie (18B) de la portion d'extrémité distale (18) formant la barre horizontale inférieure du « U », au voisinage de l'extrémité distale d'écriture (14A), est courbe selon la direction axiale (X) et suit un profil du type conique à rayon variable selon la direction axiale (X).
7. Instrument d'écriture selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, dans lequel la portion d'extrémité distale (18) comprend une face d'extrémité distale (18A), l'épaisseur (el, e2) de chacune des barres formant le « U » de la face d'extrémité distale (18A) est comprise entre 0.5 mm et 1.0 mm.
8. Instrument d'écriture selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à
7, dans lequel la pointe d'écriture (14) est en poudre frittée.
9. Instrument d'écriture selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à
8, formant un surligneur (10).
