Definitions
- the invention is concerned with a holder for additional devices, such as aiming and / or lighting means, on small arms, which is preferably compatible with Picatinny rails and NATO Accessory Rail.
- Sight (target) and lighting means are usually mounted on standardized rails (e.g. Picatinny MIL-STD 1913 / NAR STANAG 4694). Other rails are also conceivable. Mounts for such means are known to be used for releasable or non-releasable attachment of a target and lighting device on the weapon. Brackets of this type are in turn referred to as detachable or non-detachable or non-removable brackets, i.e., so-called fixed assemblies. Fixed assemblies are generally of a simple construction, since they remain on the weapon for a long time or always. The removable brackets, on the other hand, have a more complex design because they have to ensure that the aiming and lighting devices can be removed or attached quickly.
- Brackets as such are already known from the prior art. So the reveals DE 199 18 635 C1 a mounting device on a firearm.
- This mounting device has a longitudinal profile rail on which a mounting base can be placed as a device carrier. The connection is made via a clamping device which is pressed on with a preselectable spring force. Inaccuracies can be compensated for by the spring arrangement. Slipping is prevented by training on the mounting base.
- a split target device holder describes the DE 201 101 903 U1 .
- a cylindrical bolt protruding from the mounting base body engages in the blind hole on the weapon and is matched to it.
- there is a clamping jaw on the mounting base which in turn is coordinated with locking grooves on the respective weapon.
- a target holder on a firearm is also with the DE 203 13 331 U1 published.
- the weapon or the barrel of the weapon has a blind hole and an opposite recess.
- the main body of the aiming device holder consists of a convex underside that lies against the barrel of the weapon.
- a protruding cylindrical bolt engages in the blind hole.
- a movable and fixable clamping surface of the aiming device holder engages on the long side of the depression.
- the clamping surface is part of the lower lever arm of a clamping lever pivotally mounted in the target body.
- the upper arm of the clamping lever is under the force of a spring on the outer surface of an eccentric disc.
- the eccentric disc can be rotated between the closed and open positions using a lever handle.
- a holder with a rotatable clamping lever for target devices discloses the DE 297 07 131 U1 .
- From the DE 298 05 865 U1 is a clamp locking system for mounting different versions of rifle scope mounts on hunting and sporting weapons with a self-adjusting system.
- the DE 10 2009 023 520 B4 shows a holder for attachments for mounting on firearms with profile rail.
- the base body is clamped to the profile rail via a clampable clamping lever which is pivotably mounted on the base body.
- US 7 905 045 B1 discloses a holder for additional devices on a mounting rail of a weapon, wherein a form-fitting connection between the mounting rail and the holder can be made by a clamping lever integrated in the holder, the holder being configured such that when clamping the clamping lever presses directly on the mounting rail or on a sliding plate that is pressed onto the mounting rail by the tensioning lever.
- a base rail mounted on the weapon is formed at least in two parts and consists of a counter plate on the weapon side, which is connected to the weapon.
- An adjustable adjustment plate is integrated on the counter plate, on which the telescopic sight is attached.
- Another target tube mount is DE 20 2011 051 287 U1 removable.
- a saddle mounting device for red dot sights for handguns and long weapons is treated.
- a collar of a base body can be pulled into a front base, footplate or a running base by means of a clamping wheel with an internal thread in connection with an external thread of a clamping screw.
- a holder for additional devices of a weapon having at least one mounting rail, and a positive connection between the mounting rail and the holder is made by a bellcrank for moving a clamping element against the mounting rail.
- the bell crank of the cam mechanism comprises a slide, by means of which the clamping element can be displaced, wherein a lever movement of the bell crank is converted into a linear thrust movement of the clamping element.
- the form-fitting connection of the clamping element is guaranteed by the bellcrank, which is placed under it.
- the US 2008/134559 A1 discloses a holder for additional devices of a weapon, the weapon having at least one dovetail rail and a positive connection between the rail and the holder by a wedge, which is mounted eccentrically, rotated with a lever against the rail.
- brackets in turn are component-intensive.
- the present invention therefore has as its object to show a simple holder of the type mentioned, which requires only a few components.
- the invention is based on the idea of fixing a holder on a rail on / on the weapon by means of a clamping lever.
- the clamping lever is shaped so that it also acts as a spring (solid-state spring). This allows component tolerances on the bracket and rail to be compensated for.
- the present invention is thus already in the DE 203 13 331 U1 intended spring support, but places the main weight in the structure of the tensioning lever.
- the spring force results from the elasticity of the material of the tensioning lever from which the tensioning lever is made. As a result, no springs in the proper sense, such as leaf springs or spiral springs etc., are used which can be damaged and / or lose their spring force under high loads.
- One or the counterpart to the mounting rail (clamping jaw and guide web) is preferably integrated in the base body of the holder.
- the tensioning lever creates a positive connection to the rail.
- the bracket requires a minimal number of parts, is light, inexpensive and easy to assemble.
- the tensioning lever is shaped so that pivoting causes the bracket to be fixed to the rail. Furthermore, the tensioning lever is preferably shaped symmetrically, so that pivoting in both directions, ie, clockwise or counterclockwise, the holder is tightened. The pivoting should take place through 90 °.
- the frictional engagement of the tensioning lever advantageously removes dirt. This makes the bracket very insensitive to dirt.
- the tensioning lever preferably does not press directly on the rail for receiving the additional devices, such as targeting and lighting means, but rather transmits the force via a sliding plate. This slide plate is pressed against the mounting rail during tensioning and is pulled away from the rail again when relaxing due to a mechanical connection to the tensioning lever.
- the sliding plate serves the purpose that the rail and lever do not wear out against each other.
- a structurally simple, detachable mount on handguns in particular is proposed.
- the positive connection from the holder for handguns to the rail is established by a clamping lever with a solid-state spring.
- the property of the solid-state spring of the tensioning lever is realized by means of a shaped groove.
- the clamping lever is symmetrical to enable fixing by 90 ° swivel clockwise and counterclockwise.
- the holder is closed using a friction lock.
- the bracket has a sliding plate that protects the mounting rail and the tensioning lever against wear.
- the counterpart to the mounting rail and guide bar is integrated in the base body of the bracket.
- the holder can alternatively be integrated in a base plate of an additional device.
- the geometry of the bracket fits to mounting rails according to MIL-STD 1913 as well as according to STANAG 4694 and others. For its part, it can be used universally.
- a holder for additional devices of a weapon comprising at least one mounting rail or at least one mounting-like recess, which is attached to the weapon by means of a positive connection.
- the connection is made by a clamping lever integrated in the holder with an integrated solid-state spring.
- the holder can be used on any weapon and is not limited to hand weapons.
- Fig. 1 shows a holder 10 with a base body 6.
- the base body 6 accommodates all other parts of the holder 10.
- the base body 6 is shaped so that one side contains a counterpart 61 to a mounting rail 8 of a weapon, not shown, on the other side a clamping lever 3 is attached.
- a guide web 63 on the base body 6, which can snap into the groove 81 of the mounting rail 8, is arranged in such a way that the tensioning lever 3 presses on a web 82 of the mounting rail 8, so as to ensure the greatest possible stability of the holder 10 on or on the mounting rail 8 and thus to guarantee the weapon (cf. Fig. 6 ).
- the base body 6 can also be integrated directly into a base plate of a sighting and / or lighting means (not shown in more detail). By attaching the remaining parts to this base plate, the holder 10 would be an integral part of the additional device, so that the device can be attached directly to the hand weapon. All the advantages of the bracket 10 described remain, however, in addition, weight and overall height are saved.
- the base body 6 also has two bores for countersunk screws 64 for fastening the holder 10 to a device (additional assemblies of the weapon), as well as holes for dowel pins 65, which enable the holder 10 to be more precisely accommodated on the device ( Fig. 4 ).
- a hole for dowel pins other forms of precise mounting are also conceivable, such as a web with a groove as a counterpart.
- the tensioning lever 3 is fastened to the base body 6 with the axle 1 and an axle holder 7.
- a sliding plate 5 is placed on the axis 1 between the tension lever 3 and the base body 6.
- the sliding plate 5 is connected to the tension lever 3 via a cylindrical pin 4.
- a disc spring 2 is preferably located between axis 1 and tensioning lever 3.
- the disc spring 2 serves to position the tensioning lever 3 and to limit the maximum spring force. This prevents the clamping lever 3 from being damaged if the forces are too high.
- the tensioning lever 3 is preferably symmetrically shaped ( Fig. 4 ), so that a 90 ° swivel from the open position (clamping lever 3 is perpendicular to the mounting rail 8) causes the holder 10 to lock, regardless of whether the swivel is clockwise or counterclockwise ( 6, 7 ).
- the geometry of the tensioning lever 3 is selected such that it tensiones in a resilient manner.
- a clamping lever head 31 has a groove 34 which divides the clamping lever head 31 into an upper part 32 and a lower part 33.
- the geometry of the flanks (35) of the tensioning lever head in the closed state corresponds to the geometry of the mounting rail. This creates a positive connection between the bracket and the mounting rail ( Fig. 7a ).
- the tensioning lever 3 does not press directly on the mounting rail 8, but transmits its force via the sliding plate 5 ( Fig. 7a ).
- the sliding plate 5 is connected to the tension lever 3 by the cylinder pin 4.
- the sliding plate 5 is pulled away from the mounting rail 8 when the holder 10 is opened or released, so that the holder 10 can be easily removed from the mounting rail 8.
- guide webs 62 for the sliding plate 5 are integrated in the base body.

Description
The invention is concerned with a holder for additional devices, such as aiming and / or lighting means, on small arms, which is preferably compatible with Picatinny rails and NATO Accessory Rail.
Sight (target) and lighting means, especially on military hand weapons, are usually mounted on standardized rails (e.g. Picatinny MIL-STD 1913 / NAR STANAG 4694). The present invention therefore has as its object to show a simple holder of the type mentioned, which requires only a few components.
The object is achieved by the features of
The tensioning lever is shaped so that pivoting causes the bracket to be fixed to the rail. Furthermore, the tensioning lever is preferably shaped symmetrically, so that pivoting in both directions, ie, clockwise or counterclockwise, the holder is tightened. The pivoting should take place through 90 °. The frictional engagement of the tensioning lever advantageously removes dirt. This makes the bracket very insensitive to dirt. The tensioning lever preferably does not press directly on the rail for receiving the additional devices, such as targeting and lighting means, but rather transmits the force via a sliding plate. This slide plate is pressed against the mounting rail during tensioning and is pulled away from the rail again when relaxing due to a mechanical connection to the tensioning lever. The sliding plate serves the purpose that the rail and lever do not wear out against each other.
A structurally simple, detachable mount on handguns in particular is proposed. The positive connection from the holder for handguns to the rail is established by a clamping lever with a solid-state spring. The property of the solid-state spring of the tensioning lever is realized by means of a shaped groove. The clamping lever is symmetrical to enable fixing by 90 ° swivel clockwise and counterclockwise. The holder is closed using a friction lock. The bracket has a sliding plate that protects the mounting rail and the tensioning lever against wear. The counterpart to the mounting rail and guide bar is integrated in the base body of the bracket. The holder can alternatively be integrated in a base plate of an additional device. The geometry of the bracket fits to mounting rails according to MIL-STD 1913 as well as according to STANAG 4694 and others. For its part, it can be used universally.
A holder for additional devices of a weapon is thus proposed, comprising at least one mounting rail or at least one mounting-like recess, which is attached to the weapon by means of a positive connection. The connection is made by a clamping lever integrated in the holder with an integrated solid-state spring.
The holder can be used on any weapon and is not limited to hand weapons.
- Bei geschlossenem Spannhebel entsteht eine formschlüssige Verbindung, d.h. Halterung kann nicht gegen Federkraft aufgedrückt werden;
- durch federnde Ausführung des Spannhebels können Toleranzen der Aufnahmeschiene weitestgehend ausgeglichen werden; dadurch ist eine Nachjustierung nicht notwendig;
- die Halterung besteht aus sehr wenigen Komponenten;
- durch die wenigen Komponenten geringes Gewicht;
- Spannhebel verriegelt sowohl bei Betätigung nach vorne als auch nach hinten;
- Gleitblech wird bei Betätigung des Hebels automatisch mitgenommen und ermöglicht so leichte Montage an Aufnahmeschiene;
- Hebel und Feder können auch an Grundplatten mit angefräster Schiene verwendet werden; dadurch noch geringeres Gewicht und geringere Bauhöhe;
- When the clamping lever is closed, a positive connection is created, ie the holder cannot be pressed open against spring force;
- The resilient design of the tensioning lever can largely compensate for tolerances in the mounting rail; this means that readjustment is not necessary;
- the bracket consists of very few components;
- low weight due to the few components;
- Clamping lever locks both forwards and backwards when actuated;
- The sliding plate is automatically taken along when the lever is actuated, thus enabling easy mounting on the mounting rail;
- Lever and spring can also be used on base plates with milled rails; thereby even lower weight and lower overall height;
- Insensitive to dirt, as possible dirt is wiped off by the friction lock.
