In addition, by fastening the frame parts to one another, it is possible to hold filter material in the holding frame, which consists of several layers and / or has no dimensional stability. Description

In the case of extractor hood devices that are used to clean polluted air, in particular kitchen fumes and vapors, it is known to use filter elements through which grease and other contaminants are filtered out. The filter elements are therefore also referred to as grease filters. In particular, filter cassettes in which a filter material is held in a filter frame are used as filter elements. These filter elements are inserted into the suction opening of the extractor device and, if necessary, attached via pin connections. For this purpose, a handle can be provided on the filter elements in the surface of the filter material, by means of which the pins of the pin connection can be moved.

A disadvantage of these embodiments of the filter elements is that the user has to touch the filter element himself in order to remove it from the extractor device for cleaning, for example.

In the WO 03/084643 A1 describes a two-stage air cleaning system. In particular, a first air filter is installed in the hood of a cooking area, for example. A second filter is also installed in the hood. The second filter includes a frame defining the front face through which incoming air can enter. The outer perimeter of the front is defined by a top wall, a bottom wall and opposing end walls. Two outer suction chambers and a central suction chamber are formed in the frame, which are separated from one another by partition elements which run along the front side. A pair of handles are provided at the forward end of the end walls. The walls of the suction chambers are each formed by an inner grid, an outer grid and filter material arranged in between. In addition, walls that extend between the end walls at the point of contact between two grids are provided.

In the DE 10 2016 211 206 A1 discloses an insert for a downdraft fan which comprises a removable filter element for filtering a flow of cooking vapor and a removable collecting element for receiving liquids, the collecting element has at least one wall which serves as a flow guide surface for deflecting the cooking vapor flow.

In JP S44 17592 Y1 a filter device is shown which has a frame to which filter elements can be attached.

Dieses Dokument offenbart alle Merkmale des Oberbegriffes des Anspruchs 1.the WO 2014/191225 A2 describes a filter unit comprising a housing. A removable module is placed in the housing. UV lamps are installed in the removable module and handles are provided on the front. The filter elements are arranged on the bottom of the housing separate from the module. The filter elements can only be removed when the module has been removed from the filter unit. In this filter unit, too, it is difficult to remove and clean the filter elements. the US2012 / 204855A1 shows a combination device wherein the extractor device has a handle. This document discloses all the features of the preamble of claim 1.

The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a combination device with a filter unit, by means of which on the one hand the air can be cleaned reliably and on the other hand is easy to handle.

The object is achieved according to the invention by a combination device having the features according to claim 1.

The support frame is arranged inclined to the base plate. In particular, the holding frame extends upwards or downwards from the base plate and forms an angle of, for example, 90 ° to less than 180 between the side from which the holding frame extends, i.e. the top or bottom of the base plate, and the holding frame °, for example 135 °.

A number of advantages can be achieved by arranging the holding frame at an incline in relation to the base plate according to the invention. In particular, since the handle is provided on the base plate and this is inclined towards the holding frame, the user can grip the handle without coming into contact with the filter element held in the holding frame.

According to the invention, the filter holder has at least two holding frames. This configuration of the filter holder makes it possible to remove several filter elements, which are held in the holding frames, from the extractor device and to insert them into the same. It may be necessary to remove the filter unit from the extractor device for cleaning or maintenance purposes, for example. The filter unit can be removed as a component and cleaned, for example, in a dishwasher. In addition, since the position of the filter elements with respect to the base plate is fixed, since the holding frames are firmly, that is to say rigidly, connected to the base plate, simple introduction of the filter unit into the extractor device can be ensured. In particular, the relative position of the filter elements to one another is predetermined by the holding frames in which they are held. A complex alignment of individual filter elements in the extractor hood can thus be dispensed with. According to the invention, the handle is arranged on the side of the base plate which faces away from the direction of extent of the at least one holding frame. This means that the handle is located on the side of the base plate that faces away from the side over which the at least one holding frame extends. According to the invention, the handle is provided on the top of the base plate and the holding frames extend downward from the base plate.

Directional information such as above and below relate, unless otherwise stated, to the filter unit in a state brought into an extractor device, in which the filter unit was inserted vertically downwards through a horizontally positioned suction opening.

Since the handle is turned away from the holding frames, on the one hand, accidental contact with the filter elements when gripping the handle can be prevented. In addition, with this arrangement of the handle, the filter unit can be easily introduced into and removed from an extractor device, for example in a suction opening with an extractor device located below the suction opening. Finally, in this embodiment, the handle can remain largely free of grease, since it is not located in the inflow area of the filter unit. The inflow area, which can also be referred to as the vapor area, is rather formed by the holding frames with the filter elements held therein. If several holding frames are provided, each with at least one filter element, then each of the holding frames forms a suction area of the filter unit.

The at least two holding frames are particularly preferably inclined in the same direction to the base plate. For example, the holding frames can both be inclined downward from the base plate. The angle enclosed by the two holding frames with the side of the base plate from which the holding frames extend is preferably also the same. Thus, for example, both holding frames can be inclined at an angle of, for example, 100 ° to the underside of the base plate and thus protrude laterally beyond the side edges of the base plate on which they are provided.

If several holding frames are provided, these are preferably arranged on opposite edges of the base plate.

According to a preferred embodiment, the holding frame consists of at least two components that are detachably or non-detachably connected to one another. The components are also referred to as frame parts and each have an opening which preferably forms the largest part of the frame part. This allows air to flow through the frame parts. Due to the multi-part construction of the holding frame, one or more filter elements can be introduced between these components, that is to say frame parts, and held between them during the production of the filter unit. This simplifies production. The connection between the frame parts can be achieved, for example, by gluing, welding or locking.

According to a preferred embodiment, a first of the frame parts of the holding frame is designed in one piece with the base plate and a second of the frame parts is connected to the first frame parts. This configuration further simplifies production, since only the filter element or elements and the second frame part have to be aligned during production. Due to the one-piece design of the first frame part with the base plate, the frame part is firmly connected to the base plate. The position of the frame part firmly connected to the base plate, however, is fixed. The filter element or elements can thus be placed on or inserted into the stationary frame part. The second frame part can then be applied to the other side of the filter element and this can then be connected to the first frame part. For this purpose, the frame parts preferably have a fold at their edges, through which the frame parts each form a receiving space. However, it is also within the scope of the invention that only one of the frame parts has a fold at the edges and the further frame part is designed flat, that is to say consists only of the strip of material that forms the frame.

According to one embodiment, the holding frame consists of two frame parts which are fastened to one another at at least a part of their edges. Because the support frame consists of frame parts, the air permeability of the filter material is only slightly impaired. Since the frame parts are also fastened to one another at their edges, it is not necessary to provide connecting elements in the area of the openings of the frame parts, which could hinder a flow. In addition, by fastening the frame parts to one another, it is possible to hold filter material in the holding frame, which consists of several layers and / or has no dimensional stability. With such filter materials, the edge formed by the connection of the frame parts at their edges can serve as an edge holder for the filter material and hold it reliably. The filter material is here preferably clamped between the material strips of the frame parts that surround the opening.

According to one embodiment, one of the frame parts of the holding frame represents an inner frame and a frame part represents an outer frame. In this embodiment, the outer frame or the inner frame can be rigidly connected to the base plate and, in particular, be designed in one piece with it. If the outer frame is rigidly connected to the base plate, the filter element or elements are placed from the inside into the outer frame and then pressed against the outer frame from the inside by applying the inner frame and held between them after the inner frame has been attached to the outer frame. If, on the other hand, the inner frame is rigidly connected to the base plate, then the filter element or elements can be placed in the outer frame from the outside. The outer frame is then attached to the filter elements from the outside and connected to the inner frame.

The frame part is referred to here as the outer frame, which, when the filter unit is installed in the extractor device, lies on the inflow side of the filter elements. The outer frame therefore represents the inflow side of the filter unit through which the air to be cleaned enters the filter element or elements. The frame part that rests on the clean air side, i.e. the outflow side of the filter element, is referred to as the inner frame. The inner frame thus represents the outflow or clean air side of the filter unit, through which the cleaned air exits the filter element. The outer frame is preferably rigidly connected to the base plate and is particularly preferably designed in one piece with the base plate. This has the advantage that the number of joints or other connection points on the inflow side of the filter unit is small and thus the accumulation of impurities on the filter holder can be minimized.

The inner frame preferably has at least one support strut and the outer frame has at least one holding strut. The support strut and retaining strut can be designed in the same way and are referred to differently only for better understanding. The struts extend through the opening of the respective frame part, that is to say span them the opening. This embodiment improves the hold of the filter element in the holding frame.

According to a preferred embodiment, the filter element consists of filter material. In this embodiment, no separate filter frame is provided on the filter element. This embodiment is possible with the filter holder of the filter unit according to the invention, since a holding frame can take over the function of the filter frame. In particular, the holding frame holds several layers of filter material together or supports and holds a dimensionally unstable filter material, for example a wire mesh or wire mesh, securely between the frame parts.

According to the invention, the at least one holding frame is preferably arranged on an edge of the base plate, that is to say extends from the edge of the base plate. It is true that it is also within the scope of the invention to provide the holding frames in the surface of the base plate, for example on the underside of the base plate at a distance from the edge of the base plate. The manufacture of such a filter holder is more difficult due to the geometry. In the case of the arrangement on the edge of the base plate, however, a frame part can be produced, for example, by bending. Alternatively, the filter holder can also be manufactured by injection molding, the arrangement on the edge of the base plate likewise allowing easier manufacture.

The filter holder can for example consist of plastic and / or metal.

The invention relates to a combination device which comprises a hob and at least one extractor device.

Advantages and features that have been described with regard to the filter unit also apply - insofar as they are applicable - to the combination device according to the invention.

The combination device has a recess in the hob into which the filter unit can be inserted. The fan of the extractor device is arranged below the recess. In the recess, for example, a trough can be introduced as part of the extractor device, into which the filter unit can be inserted. As an alternative or in addition, the filter unit can also have fastening elements, such as, for example Have locking lugs to lock with a tub or another part of the extractor device.

The invention is described again below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Show it:

Figure 2
a schematic exploded view of a further embodiment of the filter unit used according to the invention.

In Figure 1 an embodiment of a combination device 1 according to the invention is shown. The combination device 1 consists of a hob 10 and an extractor device 11. The extractor device 11 is located below the hob 10 in some areas Figure 1 only the filter unit 12 can be seen. The hob 10 has a recess 100 into which the filter unit 12 is introduced. A fan (not shown) of the extractor device 11, via which air is sucked in through the filter unit 12, is arranged below the filter unit 12. The filter unit 12 consists of a filter holder 121 in which filter elements 120 are held. In the view in Figure 1 only one filter element 120 is visible. A recessed grip 1220 is introduced into the top of the filter holder 121, over which a grip element 1221 in the form of a metal strip extends.

The embodiment of the filter unit 12 in Figure 2 differs from the embodiment of the filter unit 12 in FIG Figure 1 only through the alignment of the grip element 1221 and the provision of struts 1241 and 1243 on the support frames 124.

The structure of the filter unit 12 will therefore be described with reference to FIG Figure 2 described. However, the statements also apply to the embodiment according to Figure 1 . The filter unit 12 consists of a filter holder 121 and two filter elements 120. In the embodiment shown, the filter elements 120 have a diamond-shaped cross section. However, it is also possible to use flat filter elements 120. In the Embodiment in Figure 2 each of the filter elements 120, apart from the filter material 1200, which can be expanded metal layers, for example, has a filter frame 1201 that holds the filter material 1200. According to the invention, however, it is also possible and preferred that the filter element 120 consists only of filter material 1200 and in particular does not have a filter frame 1201.

The filter holder 121 consists of a base plate 123 and two holding frames 124. The base plate 123 has the shape of a long rectangle. A handle 122 is provided in the center of the base plate 123. The handle 122 is formed by a recessed grip 1220 introduced into the base plate 123 and a grip element 1221 that spans this and represents a narrow strip of material. At the edges of the base plate 123, holding frames 124 of the filter holder 121 extend downward. This means that the two support frames 124 are inclined in the same direction. In the embodiment shown, a holding frame 124 is provided on each of the two longitudinal edges of the base plate 123. The handle 122, which is provided in the upper side of the base plate 123, is thus arranged on the side of the base plate 123 which faces away from the direction of extension of the downwardly extending holding frames 124.

The holding frame 124 consists of two frame parts, namely an outer frame 1240 and an inner frame 1242. The outer frame 1240 is designed in one piece with the base plate 123. The inner frame 1242 represents a separate component that can be connected to the outer frame 1240, that is to say can be fastened to it. In the embodiment shown, a strut, which is also referred to as a retaining strut 1241, is provided in one frame part, namely the outer frame 1240, and extends over the height of the opening formed by the outer frame 1240. On the further frame part, namely the inner frame 1242, two struts, which are also referred to as support struts 1243, are provided in the embodiment shown. The support struts 1243 extend the height of the opening formed in the inner frame 1242. In the embodiment shown, the support struts 1243 are arranged offset with respect to the holding strut 1241. The holding frames 124 are arranged inclined to the base plate 123. A filter element 120 is received between the frame parts of the holding frame 124, that is to say between the outer frame 1240 and the inner frame 1242.

To assemble the filter unit, the filter element 120 is first inserted from the inside into one frame part, namely the outer frame 1240. The further frame part, namely the inner frame 1242, is then applied from the inside and connected to the outer frame 1240. The connection can be produced, for example, by gluing, welding or locking. After connecting the outer frame 1240 to the inner frame 1242, the filter element 120 is as in FIG Figure 2 shown on the left, between the frame parts 1240 and 1242, that is held in the support frame 124.

In this state, the filter unit 12 can be introduced into an opening of an extractor device 11 in a simple manner. In particular, the filter unit can be inserted into a recess 100 of a hob 10, below which the fan of an extractor device 11 of a combination device 1 is provided. The filter unit 12 is inserted in such a way that the base plate 123 forms the top of the filter unit 12. In the installed state, the holding frames 124 are thus arranged under the base plate 123, that is to say extend downward from the base plate 123. In the embodiment shown, the holding frames 124 are at an angle greater than 90 ° to the underside of the base plate 123, that is, they are inclined slightly outward. In this way, a reliable flow of air onto the filter elements 120 held in the holding frames 124, which is sucked into the recess 100, can be ensured.

The filter unit 12 can be used in the extractor device 11, for example in a tub or other fastening device of the extractor device 11. The lower edges of the holding frames 124 lie on the tub floor of the extractor device 11 and the filter unit 12 is held in this way. Additionally or alternatively, one or more fastening elements, for example in the form of latching lugs 125, can be provided on the filter unit 12. These fastening elements are preferably provided on the filter holder 121 offset with respect to the holding frame (s) 124. In particular, the fastening elements can be implemented by latching arms which extend downward from the edges of the base plate 123, on which no holding frame is provided. In the embodiment shown, the fastening elements, only one of which can be seen in the form of a latching lug 125, are provided on latching arms which extend downward from the short edges of the elongated base plate 123.

The present invention has a number of advantages. On the one hand, the invention creates a simple possibility of combining expanded metal layers for filtering grease at several intake openings of an extractor device, which can represent, for example, downdraft ventilation in a filter unit, which can also be referred to as a housing.

The filter unit which can be removed for cleaning in the dishwasher, which can also be referred to as a grease filter housing, can combine at least two filter elements, which can be, for example, expanded metal filters, in one unit.

This means that the greasy expanded metal filters do not have to be removed individually for cleaning. Rather, contrary to the known solutions, the filter unit can be removed from a handle which has remained largely free of grease since it is not located in the vapor area. The filter unit can be put into the dishwasher without having to touch it again. This is a clean operation, contrary to the normal case, in which you have to attack each of the individual grease filters, whereby it is usually unavoidable to touch the filtered grease.
