  • the outsole 2 is a tread sole made of a rubber that has a higher abrasion resistance than the foamed material of the midsole 1 and typically has a higher hardness than the foamed material of the midsole 1.
  • "made of rubber” means that it contains a natural rubber component or a synthetic rubber component, and it may contain any other component.
  • the outsole 2 may have complicated projections/depressions as shown in FIG. 7A to FIG. 7D and FIG. 8A to FIG. 8C , but it is shown in a simple shape denoted by a tow-dot-chain line in other figures for the sake of illustration. Note that the envelope of the upper 7 is denoted by a two-dot-chain line as in FIG. 1A for ease of understanding.
  • the stabilizer of the rearfoot portion 5R is attached to at least a portion of the upper 7.
  • the stabilizer includes the midsole 1, and the counter 6 placed in the rearfoot portion 5R of the midsole 1.
  • the counter 6 has a shape and a structure that are generally symmetrical between the medial side and the lateral side, and includes the counter body 60 and the medial and lateral skirts 6M, 6L.

As shown in FIG. 3 , the counter body 60 covers the rearfoot portion 5R of the upper 7 ( FIG. 1A, FIG. 1B ) extending from the medial side surface to the lateral side surface through the back surface BF, and is formed in a U-letter shape as seen from above (see FIG. 6 ) .
  • the counter 6 further includes the flange 6F that is integrally continuous with the counter body 60 and projects from the counter body 60 toward the central area CE of the rearfoot portion 5R.
  • the flange 6F is formed in a continuous U-letter shape as seen from above as shown in FIG. 6 .
  • the shallow first step portion 11, into which the flange 6F fits, is formed on the upper surface 1U of the midsole 1.
  • the medial and lateral skirts 6M, 6L of FIG. 1A and FIG. 1B extends downward from the counter body 60.
  • the medial and lateral skirts 6M, 6L are provided on the medial side and on the lateral side, respectively, and the medial and lateral skirts 6M, 6L cover the side surfaces SF on the medial side ME and the lateral side LA of the rearfoot portion 5R of the midsole 1 of FIG. 5 and are attached, by being bonded and/or welded, to the side surfaces SF.
  • a deep second step portion 12 into which the medial and lateral skirts 6M, 6L fit, is formed in the medial and lateral side surfaces SF and the upper surface 1U of the midsole 1.
  • the skirt is attached to the side surface SF and the upper surface 1U of the midsole 1 in the area from the second step portion 12 to the first step portion 11.
  • the medial and lateral skirts 6M, 6L include the posterior ends 6E placed in corner CO areas between the side surfaces SF and the back surface BF of the midsole 1.
  • the back surface BF of the midsole 1 includes an exposed portion 10 where skirts 6M, 6L are absent.
  • the cross-sectional shape of the back surface of the counter 6 has a "J"-letter shape as shown in the vertical cross-sectional view of FIG. 7A .
  • the cross-sectional shape of the side surface of the counter 6 has a generally "Y"-letter shape or "T”-letter shape as shown in the horizontal cross-sectional view of FIG. 8B and FIG. 8C .
  • the upper edge of the counter body 60 extends in an obliquely downward direction toward the anterior D1 direction.
  • the torsional stiffness of the middle foot portion will be of an appropriate value.

  • each skirt 6M, 6L is attached to the side surface SF of the medial side ME or the lateral side LA of the rearfoot portion 5R of the midsole 1.
  • the first small width portion 61 is continuous with the wide portion 6W, and the width H in the height direction thereof covering the midsole 1 is smaller than that of the wide portion 6W in an area from the side surface SF to the back surface BF of the midsole 1.
  • the lower-edge line 61L of the first small width portion 61 of each skirt 6M, 6L extends in an obliquely posterior D2 and upward direction from the side surface SF of the medial side ME or the lateral side LA of the rearfoot portion 5R of the midsole 1 to the back surface BF of the midsole 1.
  • the second small width portion 62 is continuous with the wide portion 6W, and the width H in the height direction thereof covering the midsole 1 is smaller than that of the wide portion 6W in an area extending from the wide portion 6W toward the anterior D1 direction.
  • the lower-edge line 62L of the second small width portion 62 of each skirt 6M, 6L extends in an obliquely anterior D1 and upward direction in the side surface SF on the medial side ME or the lateral side LA.
  • the midsole 1 includes the main midsole 4 formed from a foamed resin material, and the medial and lateral sub-midsoles 3M and 3L placed on the main midsole 4 and formed from a foamed resin material.
  • the hardness of the sub-midsoles 3M, 3L is higher than the hardness of the main midsole 4.
  • Each sub-midsole 3M, 3L includes the base 30 and the two hard roll-up portions 31, 32 formed integral with the base 30 as shown in FIG. 9 and FIG. 10 .
  • the base 30 of FIG. 6 covers the reverse surface of the hallux B1 or the little toe B5 of the wearer.
  • the two hard roll-up portions 31, 32 of FIG. 10 are continuous with, and are rolled up from, the base 30 on the medial side ME and the lateral side LA and at positions that are spaced apart from each other in the front-rear direction.
  • the hard roll-up portions 31, 32 will serve to suppress the lateral shake of the forefoot.
  • the pair of sub-midsoles 3M, 3L shown in FIG. 9 may be spaced apart from each other, one on the medial side ME and the other on the lateral side LA.
  • the main midsole 4 is exposed without being covered by the pair of sub-midsoles 3M, 3L.
  • the main midsole 4 defines the mating recess 43, into which the base 30 of the pair of sub-midsoles 3M, 3L fits.

Claims (7)

  1. Chaussure ayant un stabilisateur, la chaussure comprenant une semelle d'usure (2) ayant une surface de contact destinée à être en contact avec une surface de route, et une semelle intercalaire (1) placée sur la semelle d'usure (2) et couvrant au moins une partie d'une section d'avant-pied d'une personne portant la chaussure ;
    la semelle intercalaire (1) inclut une semelle intercalaire principale (4) formée par une mousse de résine, et au moins une semelle intercalaire subsidiaire (3M, 3L) placée sur la semelle intercalaire principale (4) et formée par une mousse de résine ;
    une dureté de l'au moins une semelle intercalaire subsidiaire (3M, 3L) est supérieure à une dureté de la semelle intercalaire principale (4) ; et
    l'au moins une semelle intercalaire subsidiaire (3M, 3L) inclut une base (30) couvrant une surface inférieure d'un gros orteil (B1) et/ou d'un petit orteil (B5) de la personne portant la chaussure, sur un côté médial (ME) et/ou un côté latéral (LA) d'une partie de pied avant (5F), et deux parties d'enroulement dures (31, 32) continues avec la base (30) et enroulées vers le haut à partir de la base (30) à des positions qui sont sur le côté médial (ME) ou le côté latéral (LA) et qui sont espacées l'une de l'autre dans une direction avant-arrière,
    dans laquelle la semelle intercalaire principale (4) définit un évidement d'accouplement (43) dans lequel la base (30) de l'au moins une semelle intercalaire subsidiaire (3M, 3L) va ;
    la semelle intercalaire principale (4) inclut en outre une partie d'enroulement souple (42) placée entre les deux parties d'enroulement dures (31, 32), continue avec une base (40) de la semelle intercalaire principale (4), et enroulée à partir de la base (40) de la semelle intercalaire principale (4) ; et
    la semelle intercalaire principale (4) inclut une partie saillante (41) entourée par l'évidement d'accouplement (43) et la partie d'enroulement souple (42) et continue avec la partie d'enroulement souple (42).
  2. Chaussure selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle l'au moins une semelle intercalaire subsidiaire (3M, 3L) définit une encoche (33) où l'au moins une semelle intercalaire subsidiaire (3M, 3L) est évidée au niveau de la partie saillante (41).
  3. Chaussure selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans laquelle une semelle intercalaire subsidiaire (3L) est prévue au moins sur le côté latéral (LA), et les deux parties d'enroulement dures (31, 32) sont prévues sur la semelle intercalaire subsidiaire (3L) du côté latéral (LA).
  4. Chaussure selon la revendication 3, dans laquelle une extrémité antérieure (31E) d'une partie d'enroulement dure antérieure (31), des deux parties d'enroulement dures (31, 32), est placée à une position antérieure (D1) à une saillie de petit orteil (O5), et une extrémité postérieure (32E) d'une partie d'enroulement dure postérieure (32), des deux parties d'enroulement dures, est placée à une position postérieure (D2) à la saillie de petit orteil (O5).
  5. Chaussure selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans laquelle :
    l'au moins une semelle intercalaire subsidiaire (3M, 3L) inclut une paire de semelles intercalaires subsidiaires (3M, 3L) sur le côté médial (ME) et le côté latéral (LA) ; et
    la paire de semelles intercalaires subsidiaires (3M, 3L) sont toutes les deux pourvues des deux parties d'enroulement dures (31, 32), de préférence, dans laquelle :
    une extrémité antérieure (31E) d'une partie d'enroulement dure antérieure (31), des deux parties d'enroulement dures (31, 32) sur le côté médial, est placée à la position antérieure (D1) à une saillie (O1) du gros orteil, et une extrémité postérieure (32E) d'une partie d'enroulement dure (32) de la position postérieure (D2), des deux parties d'enroulement dures sur le côté médial, est placée à la position postérieure (D2) à la saillie (O1) du gros orteil ; et
    une extrémité antérieure (31E) d'une partie d'enroulement dure (31) de la position antérieure (D1), des deux parties d'enroulement dures (31, 32) sur le côté latéral (LA), est placée à la position antérieure (D1) à une saillie de petit orteil (O5), et une extrémité postérieure (32E) d'une partie d'enroulement dure postérieure (32), des deux parties d'enroulement dures sur le côté latéral, est placée à la position postérieure (D2) à la saillie de petit orteil (O5).
  6. Chaussure selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, dans laquelle :
    l'au moins une semelle intercalaire subsidiaire (3M, 3L) inclut une paire de semelles intercalaires subsidiaires (3M, 3L) sur le côté médial (ME) et le côté latéral (LA) ; et
    la paire de semelles intercalaires subsidiaires (3M, 3L) sont espacées l'une de l'autre, une sur le côté médial (ME) et l'autre sur le côté latéral (LA).
  7. Chaussure selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle :
    l'au moins une semelle intercalaire subsidiaire (3M, 3L) inclut une paire de semelles intercalaires subsidiaires (3M, 3L), avec une de la paire agencée sur le côté médial (ME) et l'autre de la paire agencée sur le côté latéral (LA) ; et la paire de semelles intercalaires subsidiaires (3M, 3L) sont toutes les deux pourvues des deux parties d'enroulement dures (31, 32).
