Description

The present description relates to a roof and/or partition element for a tent or shelter type article having an opaque film.

Depending on the type of roof element and/or partition chosen, the luminosity tends to insinuate itself into the interior of the tent or shelter type article. This arrangement can be useful during the day to have enough light and not have to use an additional artificial light source.

However, it may be necessary to reduce the light coming from outside the tent, especially in the morning so as not to be awakened as soon as the sun rises.

To do this, part of the roof and/or partition element can be made of an opaque or partially opaque material. For example, the roof and/or partition element may comprise a flexible internal panel made of an opaque material defining a specific internal part of the tent such as a bedroom. Typically it is a dark colored fabric allowing air circulation.

In this case, a flexible outer panel, preferably colored and coated with a layer of non-opaque polyurethane, covers it and gives the tent its external appearance.

This arrangement is satisfactory in that it is possible to encapsulate a volume of the tent: the bedroom according to the example chosen.

However, it is necessary to have a specific flexible internal panel in a dark material, which is useful for blurring the effect of external lighting but also has limits in terms of the attenuation of the luminosity.

US2009/188539A1 discloses a tent having interior and exterior walls separated from each other by a low thermal conductivity medium.

WO2012/172256A2 describes an article of the tent or shelter type, comprising a roof element at least partially covering a shelter area, said roof element comprising a main flexible panel having an external and internal face, the internal face being intended to be oriented towards said shelter area. The internal face (4b) has an emissivity rate (%) of the far infrared radiation lower than the emissivity rate (%) of the far infrared radiation of the external face (4a). Other known tent constructions are found in US6061969A And US2004/129307A1 .

US4785838A describes a versatile shade designed to be attached to various items of baby furniture. The lampshade comprises a semi-rigid and flexible support arch element, left and right symmetrical panel elements, a top panel element and fixing elements for fixing the lampshade to the furniture element . The various members of the panel are opaque to prevent bright light and other common radiation from reaching the infant.

WO84/02065A1 describes a tent kit to provide a tent for summer use and a double-walled tunnel tent for winter use.

Ces inconvénients sont résolus par un élément selon l'invention conformément à la revendication 1.The present description aims to solve all or part of the drawbacks mentioned above. These disadvantages are solved by an element according to the invention according to claim 1.

To this end, the present description relates to a roof and/or partition element for an article of the tent or shelter type intended to cooperate with a support structure of said article so as to generate a sheltered zone in a mounted position, the element of roof and/or partition comprising a panel external flexible panel having an internal face facing the sheltered area and an external face opposite the internal face, the external flexible panel further comprising an opaque or at least partially opaque film applied to at least a portion of said internal face and/ or at least a portion of said outer face.

According to one aspect of the description, the film of the outer flexible panel comprises a layer corresponding to a surface treatment on at least one portion of said inner and/or outer face of the outer flexible panel, in particular a coating, lamination or modification of the surface condition.

According to one aspect of the description, said layer of the film of the external flexible panel corresponds to a polyurethane coating.

The opaque or at least partially opaque film has the effect of absorbing part of the light coming from outside the article of the tent or shelter type.

Thus, in the mounted position, the brightness is attenuated in the sheltered area. This arrangement is particularly advantageous when the film covers part of the flexible panel, for example to attenuate the brightness in only one room of the tent.

The fact that the film is attached to the internal or external face also makes it possible not to have to add a dark-colored internal veil to the tent to obtain a zone in which the light inside the tent is attenuated.

According to one aspect of the description, the film of the outer flexible panel comprises at least two layers. This arrangement makes it possible to limit the penetration of light into the sheltered area as much as possible.

According to one aspect of the description, the opaque or at least partially opaque film is arranged so that the external flexible panel absorbs at least part of the external light so that the sheltered zone has a lower luminosity than the external luminosity.

Thus the degree of opacity of the opaque or at least partially opaque film is determined so as to achieve an attenuation according to a desired degree of the brightness internal to the tent.

According to one aspect of the description, the roof and/or partition element further comprises a flexible partition panel arranged to delimit a volume separated from the sheltered area such as a bedroom, the flexible partition panel having an internal face facing the separate volume, an outer face opposite the inner face, and comprising an opaque or at least partially opaque film applied to at least a portion of said inner face of the flexible separation panel.

According to one aspect of the description, the film of the flexible separation panel comprises a layer corresponding to a surface treatment on at least a portion of said internal and/or external face of the flexible separation panel, in particular a coating, lamination or modification of the surface condition.

According to one aspect of the description, said layer of the film of the flexible separation panel corresponds to a polyurethane coating.

The opaque or at least partially opaque film attached to the internal face of the flexible separation panel makes it possible to attenuate the luminosity in the separated volume by limiting the penetration of light coming from the rest of the sheltered zone.

According to one aspect of the description, the portion of the internal and/or external face of the external flexible panel oriented opposite and/or respectively opposite the separate volume is entirely covered with opaque or partially opaque film and/or in which the face internal and/or external of the flexible separation panel is completely covered with opaque or partially opaque film.

This arrangement makes it possible to surround the separated volume with an opaque or at least partially opaque film. In particular, it is thus possible to have a room having reduced internal luminosity compared to the rest of the sheltered zone.

The bedroom can therefore be a room reserved for rest and the rest of the sheltered area as a living room, the brightness of each of these rooms being adapted to their use.

According to one aspect of the description, the roof and/or partition element further comprises an internal flexible panel arranged to be arranged at least partially facing the external flexible panel in the mounted position, in particular facing the portion of the flexible panel external delimiting the separated volume.

The internal flexible panel is useful for delimiting an internal volume in the sheltered zone. Thus the internal flexible panel can have particular color portions, for example a dark color for the bedroom or a bright color for the living room.

The fact of having an opaque or at least partially opaque film attached to the external flexible panel leaves great freedom of choice for the internal flexible panel both in terms of material and color.

Indeed, the luminosity being attenuated at the level of the external flexible panel, no particular restriction is imposed for the choice of the type of internal flexible panel, in particular the portion of the internal panel oriented facing the separate volume.

According to one aspect of the description, the internal flexible panel comprises a fabric arranged to allow air to pass through, in particular an uncoated fabric.

Preferably, the flexible internal panel is made of a dark material, in particular black or gray. This darkens the room further.

According to one aspect of the description, the internal flexible panel and the flexible separation panel are integral or are integral.

This arrangement makes it possible to encapsulate the separate volume and thus to allow optimum attenuation of the luminosity by avoiding the light entry interstices.

According to one aspect of the description, the film of the flexible separation panel comprises at least two layers. This arrangement allows less penetration of light through the flexible partition panel.

According to one aspect of the description, the film of the outer flexible panel and the flexible separating panel film are arranged so as to delimit a portion of the sheltered area, known as the dark area, in the mounted position, said films being arranged so that a light flux received per unit area in the dark zone is less than or equal to 50 lux.

The association of the films of the outer flexible panel and of the flexible separating panel makes it possible to greatly limit the luminosity in a portion of the sheltered zone called the dark zone.

In particular, this layout is interesting for creating a bedroom in a tent which is always sheltered from the sun, while the rest of the tent or living room has a less attenuated luminosity.

This description also relates to an article of the tent or shelter type comprising a support structure and a roof and/or partition element as described above.

The present description also relates to a method for treating the surface of an external flexible panel and/or a flexible separation panel of a roof and/or partition element for an article of the tent or shelter type, the method comprising the following steps:
  • placing a layer on at least a portion of one face of the outer flexible panel or the flexible separation panel, then
  • illumination of an area of one face of the outer flexible panel or of the flexible separation panel opposite the face on which the layer is attached with a determined luminous flux, said area being flat, then
  • search for light points on a portion of the face provided with the layer, said portion corresponding to said area and said portion being subject to darkness, a light point corresponding to a portion of the determined light flux passing through the roof element and/ or partition, then, when the number of light points is greater than a threshold number and/or when at least one light point has a dimension greater than a threshold dimension, the steps of arranging a layer, lighting and search for bright spots are carried out again.

This arrangement makes it possible to ensure that the opaque and/or partially opaque film is correctly applied. Thus this film plays its role perfectly and makes it possible to generate a sheltered zone of reduced luminosity.

According to one aspect of the description, the luminous flux determined is between 5500 and 6500 lux and/or in which the threshold number is 0.14 point per cm<2> and/or in which the threshold dimension is 0.5 mm. An optimal result is obtained with this brightness and these threshold values.

According to one aspect of the description, a luminous point is considered as such when its luminosity exceeds a low threshold. This low threshold corresponds for example to a minimum luminosity visible to a human eye at 30 cm from the inspected portion.

According to one aspect of the description, the layer or layers correspond to a surface treatment on at least a portion of said internal and/or external face of the external flexible panel, in particular a coating, lamination or modification of the surface state .

According to one aspect of the description, the layer or layers of the film of the external flexible panel corresponds to a polyurethane coating.

As illustrated in figure 1 , an article 1 of the tent or shelter type, here a tent 3 comprises a support structure 5 and a roof and/or partition element 7. The support structure 5 is an element making it possible to maintain the tent 3 in a mounted position by cooperating with the roof and/or partition element 7.

As also illustrated in figures 3 and 4 , the roof and/or partition element 7 comprises an external flexible panel 11, an internal flexible panel 13 and a flexible separation panel 15.

The outer flexible panel 11 is configured to give the tent 3 its outer shape in the mounted position. The flexible separation panel 15 makes it possible to create a partition between two rooms of the tent 3. In the present case, it is a question of creating a separation between a bedroom 17 and a living room 19.

As illustrated more particularly in figures 2 and 4 , the internal flexible panel 13 and the flexible separation panel 15 are integral so as to encapsulate the chamber 17.

The chamber 17 is thus included in a separate volume 21 from the rest of the sheltered zone 9, the separate volume 21 being defined by the outer flexible panel 11 and the flexible separation panel 15.

It thus appears that the flexible outer panel 11 and the flexible separation panel 15 delimit a portion of the sheltered zone 9 called the dark zone 39.

The outer flexible panel 11 has an inner face 11a facing the sheltered area 9 and an outer face 11b opposite the inner face 11a and facing the outside of the tent 3.

The outer flexible panel 11 comprises a fabric made of a non-opaque material usually used for tent fabrics 3. Similarly, the inner flexible panel 13 and the flexible separation panel 15 also each comprise a fabric made of a non-opaque material. or not opacifier usually used for tent fabrics. This does not preclude using a dark colored material as a canvas.

L'élément de toit et/ou de cloison 7 comprend en outre un film 11c opaque ou au moins partiellement opaque rapporté sur au moins une partie de la face interne 11a du panneau souple externe 11.The roof and/or partition element 7 further comprises an opaque or at least partially opaque film 11c attached to at least part of the internal face 11a of the external flexible panel 11.

Dans le mode de réalisation présenté ici, ledit film 11c opaque ou partiellement opaque est en regard du volume séparé 21 de manière à atténuer la luminosité à l'intérieur de la chambre 17 par rapport à l'extérieur de la tente 3.In the embodiment presented here, said opaque or partially opaque film 11c faces the separate volume 21 so as to attenuate the brightness inside the chamber 17 compared to the outside of the tent 3.

Selon d'autres mode de réalisation non présentés, ledit film 11c pourrait être rapporté sur la face externe 11b ou il pourrait y avoir deux films : un recouvrant la face interne 11a et un recouvrant la face externe 11b.According to other embodiments not shown, said film 11c could be attached to the external face 11b or there could be two films: one covering the internal face 11a and one covering the external face 11b.

To the figure 4 , the thickness of the opaque or at least partially opaque film 11c has been deliberately increased so that its location is more easily identifiable.

The opaque or at least partially opaque film 11c is produced by coating one or more layers 29 of polyurethane on the relevant portion of the internal face of the external flexible panel.

Il apparait donc que l'opacité du film 11c provient du type de polyuréthane utilisé et de sa répartition sur la face interne 11a.It therefore appears that the opacity of the film 11c comes from the type of polyurethane used and from its distribution on the internal face 11a.

According to other embodiments, the opaque film 11c could be obtained by a surface treatment such as lamination or any other type of surface treatment effecting a modification of the surface condition.

This arrangement therefore makes it possible to obtain a zone under the tent 3 with less penetration of external light without having to use a specific internal opacifying fabric, a simple coating making it possible to carry out the opacifying function.

The opaque or at least partially opaque film 11c comprises one or more layers 29, the layer or layers 29 being added separately one on the other.

The number of layers 29 is not defined because the surface treatment process includes a test described below to determine if the number of layers 29 is sufficient.

La première étape E1 du procédé consiste à disposer une couche 29 sur la face interne 11a.The first step E1 of the method consists in placing a layer 29 on the internal face 11a.

The second step E2 consists in illuminating an area 31 of the external face 11b with a determined luminous flux 33. The determined luminous flux 33 is defined per unit of illuminated surface and corresponds to a value situated between 5500 and 6500 lux.

As shown in figure 5 , a light source 34 producing said determined luminous flux 33 is arranged in an opaque cylinder 35 open at its top.

Typiquement l'aire 31 présente un diamètre de 30 cm.The outer flexible panel 11 is arranged on the cylinder, the outer face 11b facing the light source 34. The opening thus defines the illuminated area 31, the portion of the outer flexible panel 11 corresponding to area 31 is laid out flat. Typically area 31 has a diameter of 30 cm.

La troisième étape E3 consiste à rechercher de points lumineux 37 sur la face interne 11a pourvue de la couche 29, un point lumineux 37 correspondant à une partie du flux lumineux déterminé 33 traversant l'élément de toit et/ou de cloison 7.The third step E3 consists in searching for luminous points 37 on the internal face 11a provided with the layer 29, a luminous point 37 corresponding to a part of the determined luminous flux 33 passing through the roof and/or partition element 7.

A luminous point 37 is thus a zone of the layer 29 of lower density allowing light to pass through lightly. The aim is to obtain a roof and/or partition element 7 that is as opaque as possible, that is to say with the minimum number of light points 37, the size of the light points 37 being as small as possible.

When the number of light spots 37 is greater than a threshold number and/or when at least one light spot 37 has a size greater than a threshold size, the three steps described above are repeated.

It is a question of placing an additional layer 29 on the previous layer 29 in order to fill in the areas of lesser density generating the luminous points 37.

Typically the values retained are as follows: less than one hundred light points 37 for the area 31 of 30 cm in diameter, that is to say 0.14 light points 37 per cm 2 and 0.5 mm for the threshold dimension .

Cette dimension est comprise dans le plan d'extension de l'aire 31.The threshold dimension is the largest dimension of a light spot 37, for example its diameter or its main length if the shape of the light spot 37 is elongated. This dimension is included in the area 31 extension plan.

A light point 37 is considered as such when its luminosity exceeds a low threshold. This low threshold corresponds for example to a minimum luminosity visible to a human eye at 30 cm from the inspected portion.

It should be noted that the second step E2 and the third step E3 are carried out in the dark so that the search conditions for the light points 37 are always identical.

If at least one of the two criteria is not met, the three steps E1, E2 and E3 are reproduced in this order as many times as necessary for the two criteria to be met.

Ce procédé permet d'obtenir le résultat désiré : le film 1 1 c opaque ou au moins partiellement opaque réduisant drastiquement la luminosité dans la zone abrité 9.This process makes it possible to obtain the desired result: the film 11c opaque or at least partially opaque drastically reducing the luminosity in the sheltered zone 9.

Cette valeur peut également être supérieure à 90%.The results obtained by tests show that the luminosity at the level of the sheltered zone 9 is reduced by at least 85% compared to the external luminosity. This value can also be greater than 90%.

The flexible separation panel 15 also has an internal face 15a, that is to say the face oriented facing the separated volume 21, on which is added the same type of opaque or partially opaque film 15c.

The separation panel 15 also has an outer face 15b opposite the inner face 15a, that is hard oriented opposite the separate volume.

A chamber 17 is thus obtained having an attenuated luminosity with respect to the exterior luminosity on the one hand and with respect to the luminosity coming from the rest of the sheltered zone 9 on the other hand.

This arrangement is interesting because it is possible to define a dark zone 39 in the tent which will always be protected from external light. It is therefore possible to take a nap in this room 17 in the middle of the day without being disturbed by the sun.

In the dark zone 39 corresponding to the chamber 17, a luminous flux received per unit area of less than 50 lux is measured.
