Claims (10)

  1. Filter insert (1) for filtering process air in an appliance (20) for handling laundry, in particular in a tumble dryer, having
    - at least one filter bag (2) with at least one air inlet opening, and
    - at least one attachment unit (3), which is connected to the filter bag (2) so that it can be removed in a non-destructive manner and which covers the air inlet opening, for attaching the filter insert (1) to a component of the appliance (20) in the intended manner, wherein the attachment unit (3) has at least one air inlet section (4), via which the process air enters the filter bag (2), characterised by
    - two resilient and kink-resistant rails (11, 12), which are arranged on mutually opposite sections of the filter bag (2) and the sides facing one another each have at least one connecting means (17, 18) extending at least over a part of the longitudinal extension of the respective rail (11, 12), which is able to be connected to the connecting means (17, 18) of the respective other rail (11, 12) so that it can be removed in a non-destructive manner,
    - two guides (9, 10) arranged on a side of the attachment unit (3) facing towards the filter bag (2), into which one of the rails (11, 12) is inserted in each case and which run on sides of the rails (11, 12) facing away from one another, and
