Claims (12)

  1. A holding element (4), which can be installed on a receiving opening of a window frame (1), a door leaf, or the like, for a door or window handle (2), having
    - a base body (5) having a bearing surface (6) for bearing on a visible side (25) or an inner side (26), facing toward the frame or door leaf interior, of a wall (19) of a window frame (1), door leaf, or the like,
    - a receiving body (10, 12), which is pivotably mounted perpendicularly to the bearing surface (6) in the base body (5), having a mounting opening (14) for receiving and mounting a polygon (3), which is fixed in a handle neck (21) of the door or window handle (2) and protrudes therefrom,
    - wherein a lateral surface (23) of the base body (5) has at least one recess (24), in which a clamping element (7) is mounted,
    - wherein the at least one clamping element (7) is movable from an installation position, in which the clamping element (7) lies in the recess (24) of the lateral surface (23) of the base body (5), into a working position, in which the clamping element (7) protrudes radially outward from the recess (24) of the lateral surface (23) of the base body (5),
    - wherein in the working position, the at least one clamping element (7) bears on a side of the wall (19) of the window frame (1), door leaf, or the like opposite to the bearing surface (6) of the base body (5),
    characterized in that
    the at least one clamping element (7) is connected to a tightening element which is rotatably mounted in the base body, in particular a threaded bolt (13), using which the clamping element (7) is adjustable from the installation position into the working position and vice versa.
  2. The holding element (4) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the at least one clamping element (7) is designed as a clamping web.
  3. The holding element (4) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the at least one clamping element (7) is pivotable from the installation position into the working position and vice versa.
  4. The holding element (4) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the lateral surface (23) of the base body (5) has two recesses (24), in each of which a clamping element (7) is mounted.
  5. The holding element (4) according to Claim 4, characterized in that the recesses (24) are arranged distributed at equal angle intervals over the lateral surface (23) of the base body (5).
  6. The holding element (4) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the at least one recess (24) has a sliding surface (27), which drops off outward radially in relation to the bearing opening (14), on which the clamping element (7) rests in a sliding manner during movement from the installation position into the working position and vice versa.

An arrangement of a door or window handle (2) on a receiving opening of a window frame (1), a door leaf, or the like, wherein the door or window handle (2) has a handle (22) having a handle neck (21), wherein a holding element (4) is fixed in the receiving opening, using which the door or window handle (2) is held on the window frame (1), door leaf, or the like, characterized in that the holding element (4) is designed according to one of the preceding claims.
