Abstract
629,568. Knob attachments. BACKHOUSE, H. T. July 24, 1947, No. 19979. Addition to 606,912, [Group XIV]. [Class 44] [Also in Group XIV] In a roseplate mounting wherein blades or pins 109 on a tubular shank 102 are forced into the woodwork of the door as set forth in the Parent case, accidental retraction of the blades is prevented by the provision of a sleeve 103 which is inserted in the shank. The rose 104 may be separate from the shank 102 and the assembly is located in registration by a set screw 120 which also serves to retain the door handle 113.
