Claims (13)

  1. A hinge (12) for a toilet seat set formed of a lid and a seat, comprising:
    a rotary damper for decelerating the lowering motion of the lid or the seat about a pivot axis (S) of the toilet seat set,
    an adapter piece (26) coupled to the rotary damper coaxially along the pivot axis (S),
    a hinge bolt (28) engaging in a receiving bore (44) formed in the adapter piece (26), and

    an outer tube (16) surrounding at least the adapter piece (26) and having a through hole (42) through which the hinge bolt (28) engages in the receiving bore (44) of the adapter piece (26), and
    wherein also the receiving bore (44) of the adapter piece is formed as a through hole and the outer tube (16) has a contact surface (40) resting on a support surface (36) formed on the fixing base (18),
    characterized in that the contact surface (40) of the outer tube (16) and the support surface (36) of the fixing base (18) are conically formed surfaces.
