Abstract

The present application concerns a cosmetic pot comprising a base and a cover that is configured to assume a closed position and an open position, and that further comprises at least one hooking member (410') configured to assume a first position when the cover is in the closed position and to assume a second position, spaced apart from the first position, when the cover is in the open position. The cover comprises, in particular, a slide (301'), with radial and eccentric double action, and a control stud (302') configured to slide relative to the slide (301') between a first position and a second position, the hooking member (410') assuming the first position of same when the stud (302') is in the first position relative to the slide (301') and assuming the second position of same when the stud (302') is in the second position relative to the slide (301').

Description

Cosmetic jar comprising a lid with a guided fastening element

The present application relates to the field of pots, and in particular cosmetic pots.

Traditionally, a pot of cosmetic product has a base, usually glass or plastic, that is to say a container surmounted by a neck whose diameter is close to the sectional dimensions of the base, to have a large opening . The base is closed by a lid, usually screwed on the neck. The lid is also generally equipped with a seal responsible for sealing the closure for good preservation of the contained product.

However, a disadvantage lies in the fact that the thread of the thread present on the neck makes it necessary to have an open neck of the remainder of the base over a certain height and also a cover of a relatively large height; in other words the presence of the thread imposes dimensional constraints for the height of the neck and the thickness of the lid.

Moreover, particularly for a round pot which has no screw stop, a user who closes the pot difficult to determine when the tightening of the lid on the base is correct. Over tightening will eventually cause the seal to crush. Insufficient tightening means that the seal does not provide a good seal. In both cases, air can enter the pot or volatile products of the formula, that is to say the product in the pot, can escape the pot, so that the formula is likely to degrade over time.

For a non-circular shaped pot whose base and lid have identical contours, the pot often has a stop that limits the angular travel of the lid relative to the base so as always to have a coincidence of shape between the base and the lid. The presence of the stop thus prevents screwing beyond, and therefore to compensate for a loss of tightness in case of crushing of the seal. For example, document US2004 / 0067091 discloses a bottle, typically for nail polish, which allows closure by clipping of the cap on the container and an opening by pressing on at least one button acting on an elastic ring. A spring device further ensures a tight closure of the bottle to prevent overflow of the product it contains. Such a cap, however, has the disadvantage of being particularly bulky, and in particular to generate a relatively large height to accommodate the device. In addition, such an embodiment is suitable for a bottle whose neck has a small diameter, but could be difficult to apply to a pot whose neck has a much larger diameter.

To at least partly solve the aforementioned drawbacks, the present application aims to provide a pot with a simple lid for use to close or open a pot that allows to guarantee a reliability of closure and which leads further to other advantages.

For this purpose, is proposed, in a first aspect, a cosmetic pot having a base and a cover for closing the base, with the base having a container surmounted by a neck with a notch, and the cover which is configured to take a closed position and an open position, and which further comprises at least one gripping member provided with a claw, the engaging member being configured to take a first position with the claw engaged in the notch when the lid is in the closed position and the pot is closed and to take a second position, wherein the claw is spaced from the neck relative to the first position and is disengaged from the notch, when the lid is in the open position, the pot being characterized in that the lid comprises a slide, double radial and eccentric action, and a control pad configured to slide relative to the slide between a first position and a second position, the hooking element taking the first position when the pilot pad is in first position with respect to the slide and the hooking element taking the second position when the pilot pad is in second position. position relative to the slide. The slide is here a double ramp opening and closing. It draws a path forming a guide for moving the control pad. According to another term, the slide forms an oblong buttonhole. Or according to yet another, it forms a double cam, that is to say both an inner profile cam and an outer profile cam nested in the inner profile cam, and for example of the same shapes.

Thus, one edge of the slide is active for opening, the other for closing. That is to say that one of the edges acts on the control pad to move the claw, that is to say allow a passage in the open position, while another of the edges acts on the pad steering to bring the claw closer, that is to say return to the closed position.

Such a pot makes it possible to hook and seal the lid on the base with a reduced torque. The friction is also lower than with conventional hooking on nets.

For a round pot, it is also possible to close the pot for any angular position of the lid relative to the base.

In addition, such a pot makes it possible to achieve the same opening and closing movement with a conventional pot whose lid and screwed on the base, that is to say for example with a rotation in a counterclockwise direction to open the pot and clockwise to close it.

Such a pot also allows for example to dispense with the presence of a hooking return element configured to connect the fastening element to a support of the cover and to automatically return the fastener element in the first position.

Such a pot also allows, for example, to dispense with the presence of a return element in position that would be configured to automatically return the lid to the closed position when it is placed in the open position.

Indeed, thanks to such a pot, a user chooses himself to put the lid in the closed position or in the open position as needed. The slide may have a first end and a second end.

According to an exemplary embodiment, one of the first end or the second end is farther from one center of rotation of the lid than the other of the first end or the second end.

The slide has for example a form of bean.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the cover comprises an inner part, called the attachment plate, and an outer part, called cover, the catch plate and the cover being rotatably mounted relative to each other. The cover takes for example the open position when the cover is rotated relative to the latching plate relative to the closed position in a counterclockwise direction. Conversely, the cover takes for example the closed position when the cover is rotated relative to the latching plate relative to the open position in a clockwise direction.

According to an interesting embodiment, the mounting plate and the cover each comprises a central stud substantially centered with respect to the cover. One of the pads is said male central stud and the other is said female central stud. The female central block is for example formed of a contour wall which comprises for example a portion in a circular arc and a flat (also called flat portion). The central male stud is for example formed by a raised contour wall or a solid shape and has for example an outer contour, part of which draws a circular arc and two other parts are substantially flat and inclined relative to each other. the other. The male central stud advantageously comprises dimensions such that once the cap is assembled with the attachment plate, the male central stud is inserted into the central female stud with an outer surface of the arcuate portion of the central male stud which tangent an inner surface of the arcuate portion of the female central stud. At the same time, one of the two flat portions of the male central stud is then tangent to the flat portion of the female central stud. The flat portions of the male central stud in cooperation with the flat portion of the female central stud thus form an angular stop for the rotation of the cover relative to the attachment plate according to whether the cover is in the open or closed position.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the attachment plate comprises a support, the attachment element being mounted on the support and movable relative thereto.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the fastening element comprises a plate, for example from which extends a hook provided with the claw.

The present description is mainly given with reference to a pot with a circular contour, but this one would of course be valid for a pot of square outline or whatever. Indeed, traditionally, a cosmetic pot 1 has a round outline, like that of Figures 1 to 10, or substantially square like that shown in Figures 1 1 and 12.

The pot 1 comprises a base 2 and a lid 3 for opening or closing the pot 1.

The base is made of any suitable material, in particular glass or plastic. It can be transparent or opaque.

As can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3, the base 2 comprises a container 200 and a neck 201 which overcomes the container 200.

As illustrated in FIG. 3, the base may be provided to receive an attached bowl 205, also called a cup, possibly provided with a closing cap 206, which contains the cosmetic product as in the case of a traditional pot. This cup and its lid are of course optional and the cosmetic product can also be contained directly in the container 200.

The neck defines an opening that provides access to a product contained in the container 200 (or in the cup). The dimensions of the neck and the opening are close to the sectional dimensions of the base. In any case, the opening of the pot is sufficiently wide to allow the passage of at least one finger of a hand, that is to say, it has, in section, a transverse dimension greater than or equal to about 25 millimeters.

The neck 201 here comprises a notch 202 and a peripheral rim 204, under which is defined the notch. More specifically, in this example, the neck has only one notch 202 which extends around the neck 201 and continuously. In addition, the notch 202 is here formed on an outer periphery of the neck 201.

Preferably, an upper portion of the flange 204 is rounded or beveled to create a ramp effect with an element that would be moved vertically against the neck.

The neck 201 is thus here devoid of any screw or screwing ramp and, compared to a traditional collar, it has a reduced height. For example, as an indication, a square pot according to the invention has a height of about 95 mm with a collar of about 6.3 mm in height and with a notch of about 3.5 mm in height and of about 1.5 mm deep. For a traditional pot of the same size, the height of the neck would have been of the order of 1 0.3 mm. These values are given for information only.

Optionally, the neck may comprise an angular stop. This is for example the case here, where the angular stop is formed for example by a recess 203 dug in the flange 204. The neck 201, at the recess, then has a constant thickness according to its height for example. Here the collar has only one stop of this type but it could of course include several. The function and use of such a stop will be described later.

As shown mainly in FIGS. 3 to 8, the cover 3 comprises a catch plate 4 and a cover 5, rotatably mounted on the plate 4.

The assembly between the cover 5 and the attachment plate 4 is made by any appropriate means, for example by a circlip which retains the attachment plate 4 inside the cover 5, or by snap-fitting of the mounting plate. 4 hanging in the hood 5.

The cover 5 and the attachment plate 4 cooperate to allow easy opening and reliable closure of the pot 1 during use.

The lid 3 also comprises a seal 420, hooked under the attachment plate 4. The plane seal 420 is for example compressible, having a thickness of a few tenths of a millimeter, intended to be compressed on its periphery between the plate 4 and the neck 201 of the base 2. The plane joint 420 is made of any suitable elastically compressible material, in particular polyethylene, SEBS, elastomer or any other equivalent material. As there is no, or very little, relative rotation between the attachment plate and the neck, the plane joint 420 is not, or very little, stressed in shear, and it is possible to choose a material relatively adherent which has a high coefficient of friction.

In place of such a compressible gasket 420, the shutter plate mounted on a suspension and coated with a reduced thickness gasket can be envisaged, as described for example in the patent application FR 2969127.

The attachment plate 4 comprises a support 400.

The support 400 is made of any suitable material, in particular metal, for example by machining, or plastic, for example by molding.

Whatever the external shape of the pot 1, the support 400 may have a generally cylindrical shape to promote rotation with the cover 5.

The support 400 comprises a contour wall 400a and a closure plate 401 having a so-called upper face 401a intended to be oriented towards the cover 5, and a so-called lower face 401b, substantially parallel to the upper face 401a, and intended to to be oriented towards the base 2.

On the side of the upper face 401a, the support 400 here comprises a central pin 403, said female central pin 403, which is configured to form a pivot for the cover 5 which will be described later.

The central female stud 403 is substantially centered with respect to the upper face 401a. It is here hollow, or in other words formed by a raised wall relative to the upper face 401 a. The wall defining the central female stud 403 here forms a closed contour and here comprises a portion drawing a circular arc 403a and a flat portion 403b.

On the side of the upper face 401a, the support 400 also comprises a pin 404 forming a center of rotation about which a hooking element 410 pivots when it passes between a first position and a second position, as will be described later. The pin 404 is here positioned at the periphery of the upper surface 401a. In this case, the pot 1 of this embodiment having three fastening elements 410, the support 400 thus comprises three pins 404.

Finally, here, the support comprises an indexing tab 405, and even here two indexing tabs arranged diametrically opposite. The indexing tab 405 is here formed by a cut made in the contour wall 400a of the support. It thus has a free edge, opposite to an attachment edge by which it is connected to the support 400. The free edge comprises for example a bead 405a. The bead 405a is thus configured to cooperate with the angular stop, here the recess 203 of the neck 201 of the base. Any rotation of the plate 4 relative to the base is thus limited, in particular during a pivoting of the cover 5 relative to the plate 4 to open or close the pot. Indeed, in case of sliding of the plate 4 relative to the base 2, the bead 405a slides along the rim 204 and then is positioned in a recess 203, preventing the pivoting of the plate 4 relative to the base 2 and thus facilitating the pivoting of the cover 5 relative to the plate 4. Thus, as the bead 405a is out of a recess 203, the indexing tab 405 is elastically deformed by bending.

The indexing tab or tabs 203 are however optional.

To grip the cover 3 at the base 2, the attachment plate 4 comprises at least one latching element 410. In the present embodiment, it comprises three identical latching elements 410, positioned at equal distances between them. others, that is to say here every 120 °, at the periphery of the support 400. To facilitate their manufacture and implementation, they are further connected here to each other by branches 406, connecting each fastening elements 410 to a ring 407 intended to be threaded around the female central stud 403. These branches are however optional.

Each fastening element 410 is preferably made in one piece, for example metal or plastic molding. Here, all the hooking elements 410, the branches 406 and the ring 407 are possibly made together in one piece.

Each attachment element 410 here comprises a plate 412 and a hook 413 provided with a claw 41 1. In other words, the hook is connected to the wafer 412 by one of its ends and has the claw 41 1 at its end opposite to the previous one.

In the present embodiment, when the attachment element 410 is positioned on the support 400, the wafer 412 extends substantially parallel to the upper face 401a and the hook extends substantially orthogonally to the wafer 412, bypassing the contour wall 400a of the support 400, the claw 41 1 being then positioned under the contour wall 400a, oriented towards a center of the support 400.

The claw 41 1 here has a shape of straight edge curved toward the center of the support 400. In addition, the claw 41 1 here has a rounded free end in adequation with the periphery of the neck 201, circular, with which it is intended to cooperate .

The claw 41 1 is thus configured to grip the neck 201 of the base 2 by engaging in the notch 202 under the flange 204 when the pot 1 is closed.

The plate 412 has a hole 408 configured to cooperate with a pin 404 of the support 400 to form a pivot connection between the fastening element 410 corresponding and the support 400.

In the present exemplary embodiment, the wafer 412 comprises a slideway 301.

The slide 301 is here a cutout in the wafer 412.

The slide 301 has a first end 301a and a second end 301b.

In this embodiment, the first end 301a is farther from a center of rotation of the cover 3 than the second end 301b. In other words, the first end is located more peripherally of the support 400 than the second end when the attachment element is mounted on the support 400. In addition, the slide 301 has an oblong and curved shape, that is to say a form of bean.

In addition, the slide 301 also comprises here an elastic tongue 301c configured to form a hard point at least when the lid 3 passes from the open position to the closed position. It is disposed between an inner edge and an outer edge of the slide and is here positioned on one side of the inner edge of the slide 301, that is to say the edge located towards a center of the lid 3 with respect to the edge external. The elastic tongue 301c has a free end, so that the elastic tongue 301c forms a blade waiting with respect to the inner edge of the slide. The free end is further located on one side of the first end 301a of the slide and here in part form this first end 301a; that is, it is connected to the inner edge at a point between the free end and the second end 301b.

In addition, the resilient tongue 301 c optionally comprises a curved portion, here comprising the free end, forming an enlargement relative to the outer edge and for receiving a stud 302, as will be described later.

Therefore, the slide with such an elastic tongue is possibly wider and longer than the others, as shown in Figure 7 for example.

Here, only one of the three slides 301 is provided with such an elastic tongue. However, more or all slides could be provided. The tabs could have any other suitable shape. And they are optional.

In the present embodiment, the cover 5 comprises a body 500. The body 500 comprises an upper face 501 (visible in FIG. 3 for example), a bottom 503 (visible in FIG. 8 for example), on the back of the upper face 501, and a contour wall 502.

The upper face 501 here constitutes an outer face, intended for example to be visible by a user when the pot 1 is closed. The upper face 501 is for example customizable, it is configured to to receive a decoration, in the form of varnish for example. According to an option not shown, the upper face is formed of one or more additional layers openwork and superimposed to form the decor, or by an additional layer of marquetry for example. It can be made of plastic, wood, glass or others. The upper face 501 is for example flat or curved.

The contour wall 502 extends from the bottom side 503, preferably substantially orthogonally thereto.

The contour wall 502 has an outer contour surface 500a which preferably has the same shape as the outer contour of the base 2, and an inner contour surface 503a. In addition, the outer contour surface 500a is positioned at the periphery of the upper face 501; it is tangent to an edge of the upper face 501. The inner contour surface 503a optionally has, at least in part, a circular shape, that is to say that it forms, at least in part, a cylinder, with a diameter at least substantially equal to the diameter of the support 400 so that the cover 5 can pivot relative to the attachment plate 4.

The cover 5 comprises a central stud 504, said central male stud 504.

The central male stud 504 is substantially centered with respect to the bottom 503.

It is here formed by a wall in relief relative to the bottom 503 which forms a closed contour, but could be a solid shape.

It comprises here a portion 504a drawing a circular arc and two substantially planar portions 504b and 504c which are inclined relative to each other.

The central male stud 504 further comprises dimensions such that once the cover 5 assembled with the plate 4, the male central stud 504 is inserted into the central female stud 403 with an outer surface of the portion 504a in an arc of the male central stud 504 which tangents an inner surface of the portion 403a in an arc of the central female stud 403. At the same time, one of the two flat portions 504b or 504c is then tangent to the flat portion 403b. The flat parts 504b and 504c in cooperation with the part plane 403b form angular stops for the rotation of the cover 5 relative to the plate 4 depending on whether the lid is in the open or closed position.

The cover 5 further comprises a stud 302, here three studs 302 since there are three fastening elements 410.

The studs 302 are positioned on the bottom 503, at equal distances from each other, ie approximately every 120 ° and at the same distance from a center of rotation of the cap 5 with respect to the plate 4.

Each stud 302 here has a circular cylindrical finger shape projecting from the bottom 503.

Thus, once the cover 5 and the plate 4 assembled to each other, each of the pads 302 is inserted into a slideway 301 and can slide relative thereto between its first end 301a and its second end 301b.

Two operating positions of the cover are thus defined: a closed position (illustrated for example in FIG. 9), and an open position (illustrated for example in FIG. 10).

When the lid is in the closed position, each of the pads 302 is positioned towards the first end 301a of the slideway 301 and the hooking elements 410 are then in the first position, that is to say a position in which the claw 41 1 corresponding is in a position close to the center, so that when the cover is on the base, the claws 41 1 are engaged in the notch 202, under the flange 204. In addition, the stud 302 cooperating with the slide 301 which comprises an elastic tongue 301 c is then held, retained between the outer edge of this slide and the free end of the tongue 301 c, the latter then being elastically deformed and spaced from the outer edge of the slide.

When the lid is in the open position, each of the studs 302 is positioned towards the second end 301b of the slideway 301 and the hooking elements 410 are then in the second position, that is to say a position in which the corresponding claw 41 1 is in a position remote from the center relative to the first position, so that when the cover is initially on the base, the claws 41 1 are clear of the notch 202 and can bypass the flange 204, which allows to separate the lid 3 of the base 2.

Considering for example the cover on the base, when the cover 5 is rotated relative to the plate 4 counterclockwise from the closed position, each of the pads 302 runs through the corresponding slide 301 from the first end 301 to the second end 301b, which has the effect of pivoting the fastening element 410 around its pin 404, in this case clockwise, thereby causing a distance of the claw 41 1 relative to the neck of the base 2 that is, the claw then moves from a first position to a second position. In this case, each stud 302 then cooperates with an outer edge of the slide by pushing it away from a center of the lid.

If it appears inadvertently a slip between the plate and the base when the cover is rotated relative to the plate, then one of the beads 405a slides along the rim 204 until it is positioned in a recess 203, which blocks any rotation relative between the plate and the base as long as the claws are not clear of the notches.

To close the pot, once the cover in the open position positioned on the base, the cover 5 is rotated relative to the plate 4 in clockwise direction; each of the studs 302 then travels the corresponding slide 301 from the second end 301b to the first end 301a, which has the effect of pivoting the fastening element 410 around its pin 404, in this case counterclockwise , then causing the claw 41 1 to approach the neck of the base, that is to say that it returns from its second position to its first position, so that it engages again in the notch 202. In this case, each stud 302 then cooperates with an inner edge of the slide by pushing it towards a center of the lid. In addition, when the stud 302 cooperating with the slide 301 which has the elastic tongue 301c reaches the first end 301a of this slide, it falls in the curved portion of the elastic tongue, which gives the user the sensation to cross a hard point. The claws 41 1 of the hooking elements 410 are thus configured so that, in the first position, the free ends of the claws are located inside an imaginary circle whose diameter is the maximum diameter of the rim 204 of the base. and that in the second position the free ends of the claws lie outside this imaginary circle.

Such a lid 3 is thus easily adaptable to any base 2, intended to contain a cosmetic product, having a neck 201 with at least one notch 202 at the periphery.

Figure 1 1 shows a pot 1 'according to a second embodiment of the present invention.

The elements identical to those of the previous embodiment are indicated by identical reference numerals, surmounted by a "prime" sign and are therefore not described again.

For example, the neck 201 'of the pot of Figure 1 1 is here square. Unlike usual pots, the opening that allows access to the product is not circular here, it has a shape that makes it very close to the outer contour of the base. The cover has an external shape that corresponds to that of the base. Other non-circular shapes are also possible.

In addition, the neck 201 'is devoid of angular stop of the type of recess 203. Indeed the non-circularity of the opening allows direct angular indexing of the cover on the base.

In contrast, the neck 201 'has four notches 202', each of them being located substantially in the middle of each side of the neck 201 '.

In concordance, the lid 3 'comprises four hooking elements 410', visible in FIG. 12.

As shown in Figure 12, the arrangement of the pads 302 'and slides 301' is here reversed, namely that the slides 301 ', here four in number too, are here arranged in the body 500' of the cover 5 'and the studs 302 'on the fastening elements 410', projecting towards the cover 5 'to cooperate with the slides 301'. In addition, the slides 301 'are here formed by a wall projecting from the bottom 503' of the cover 5 'which draw an outline, here closed. No slide has here an elastic tongue, but at least one of them could include one, for example disposed between an outer edge and an inner edge of the slide.
