Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a domestic dishwasher with a lower rack for dishes, which includes a basket-shaped item to be washed and a handle arranged on the item to be washed.
  • a dishwasher has a washing compartment and at least one crockery basket that can be moved into and out of the washing compartment.
  • the dishwasher can have several crockery baskets arranged one above the other, such as a lower crockery basket, an upper basket and a cutlery drawer. Since the lower rack is arranged near a bottom of the washing tub, it is necessary for the user to kneel or bend toward the lower rack in order to pull out and push in the lower rack into the washing tub.
  • the pamphlet JP H07 9255 U discloses a dishwasher frame for a commercial dishwasher with a vertical wall section, which is formed on an outer edge of the dishwasher frame, and with a dish support with two adjustable feet, which are arranged on the top surface of the vertical wall section and which are along the top surface of the vertical wall section extend.
  • the dish support of the commercial dishwasher is designed in such a way that its height can be adjusted using the two adjustable feet.
  • the pamphlet DE 10 2012 016 762 A1 discloses a dishwasher with a washing chamber, which can be closed at the front by a door, and with a lower basket for accommodating dishes, which can be adjusted between a washing position that is retracted in the washing chamber and a removal position that at least predominantly projects out of the washing chamber.
  • a handle is rigidly arranged on the front of the lower basket.
  • the pamphlet EP 2 377 454 A1 discloses a handle for a wire basket, in particular a lower basket of a dishwasher.
  • the invention proposes a handle with a handle consisting of two half-shells Base bodies, which, in the final assembled state, accommodate a wire of the wire basket without play between them, for which purpose the half-shells provide correspondingly designed wire receptacles that are designed to be spring-elastic.
  • the pamphlet DE 102 59 087 A1 discloses a crockery basket, in particular an upper basket, for a dishwasher, a handle which is pivotably mounted about a horizontal axis being arranged on a front side of the crockery basket.
  • the handle pivots in the direction of the opening door.
  • the handle pivoted out in this way can be gripped by a user's hand and thus ensures that a controlled pulling force is applied to the crockery basket.
  • the pivoting process of the handle in the direction of the opening door can be based solely on the influence of gravity on the handle or be supported by a prestressed spring element.
  • a household dishwasher is proposed with a lower rack for dishes, which includes a basket-shaped item to be washed and a handle arranged on the item to be washed.
  • the handle is height adjustable. Furthermore, the handle for height adjustment can be shifted from a starting position into at least one operating position. Furthermore, the handle can be locked both in the starting position and in the at least one operating position with the aid of a locking device.
  • the handle is height-adjustable means that the handle or at least a handling section of the handle can be moved away from or towards a base of the wash-ware receptacle.
  • the handle In the starting position, the handle has the functionality of a handle without such a height adjustability.
  • the handle or the handling section of the handle In the operating position, the handle or the handling section of the handle is moved away from the washware receptacle compared to the starting position.
  • the fact that the handle is locked both in the starting position and in the at least one operating position with the aid of the locking device means that the handle can only be moved from the starting position to the at least one operating position or vice versa if the locking device is a locked position is brought into an unlocked position. Because the handle is height-adjustable, handling of the lower basket is particularly easy. A user does not have to bend down towards the lower rack of dishes or kneel to pull the lower rack of dishes out of a washing compartment of the domestic dishwasher.
  • the handle for height adjustment can be moved linearly from the starting position into the at least one operating position.
  • a linear movement is to be understood as meaning a translatory movement in one direction.
  • the handle can be shifted into several different operating positions.
  • the handle can be shifted into two, three, four or more different operating positions.
  • the height adjustment of the handle can be set individually for a user. This increases the ease of use.
  • the handle has a first handle bar and a second handle bar arranged within the first handle bar, the first handle bar and the second handle bar being displaceable relative to one another in order to adjust the height of the handle.
  • the first handlebar and the second handlebar are preferably telescopic. This means that the second handle bar can be pulled out of the first handle bar and pushed into it.
  • the locking device is set up to lock the first handlebar on the second handlebar.
  • first handlebar several recesses or bores are preferably provided on the first handlebar, and one borehole is provided on the second handlebar.
  • the first handlebar and the second handlebar are then locked to one another with the aid of a locking element which has a bolt section when the bolt section positively engages both in the borehole of the second handlebar and in one of the boreholes of the first handlebar.

  • the handle has an actuating button which is coupled to a locking element of the locking device.
  • the handle can also have more than one actuating button.
  • the operation knob is preferably provided on the manipulation portion of the handle.
  • the handling section can have a cover that includes an opening through which the actuating button is guided.
  • the actuating button is coupled with the aid of an actuating element, which has an inclined contact surface, to the locking element, which has a corresponding inclined counter-contact surface, the contact surface sliding on the counter-contact surface to bring the locking element from a locked position into an unlocked position.
  • a translational movement of the actuating element triggered by the actuating button can be converted in a first direction of movement into a second direction of movement of the locking element oriented perpendicular to the first direction of movement.
  • Two locking elements are preferably provided. The locking elements are arranged within the respective second handle bar.
